Your English is fine, your reasoning isn't. The reason the VBX error is occuring is that the author left OUT the GAUGE.VBX VB add-on. So when the program ran and tried to load the .VBX (they are really DLLs), it failed. The update out on EPAS includes the missing control. This is a common problem using VB. And WinNT supports VBXs just fine, just as it supports regular 16-bit Windows programs. Now, back to the GUS Daily Digest, already in progress... PPLT is excellent considering it is freeware. However, - as someone mentioned on this digest earlier - quality of orchestral midi files suffers when using PPLT. Unfortunately this true. For example the marcato.pat supplied with PPLT is worse than the original one. Additionally I've noticed that some of the PPLT sound corrupted when more that 10 (?) voices are played simultaneosly. ------------------------------ From: RaVi Date: Thu, 21 Dec 1995 14:32:18 EST Subject: GREETINS HAPPY HOLIDAYZ ============== .-~~~-, ( ) ( ) -^x^- ( ) /~ ~\ ( ) | | ( ) | | ( ) | __ _, (~~~~-( ) /\/\ (. ).) `_'_', ( ) C __) (.( .)-( ) | /~~~ \ (_ ( ) / \ ~====' /_____/` D) /`-_ `---' \ | .__|~-/^\-~|_/_ |^^^^^^^|| | __. ||/.\ | |OooooO \ ---. \ | | \ _ _- ,`_'_' .~\ \|__ __|-____ / ) < -(. ).) > \ ( .\ (. ) \(_/ ) ~- _) \_- ooo @ (_) @ \(_//. / /_C (-.____) /((O)/ \ ._/\~_. / |_\ / / /\\\\`-----'' _|>o< |__ | \ooooO ( \ \\ \\___/ \ `_'_', / \ \__-| \ `)\\-^\\ ^--. /_(.(.)- _\ \ \ ) |-`--.`--=\-\ /-//_ ' ( c D\ \_\_) |-___/ / \ V /.~ \/\\\ (@)___/ ~| / | / | |. /`\\_/\/ / / / | ( C`-'` / | \/ (/ / /_________- \ `C__-~ | / (/ / | | | \__________| \ (/ _____ . . .___ __ . . . .__ __ __ . . __ | | | | (__` | |\ /| | \ (__` / \ |\ | (__` | |---| |--- \ | | \/ | |__/ \ | | | \ | \ | | | |___ \__/ | | | | \__/ \__/ | \| \__/ "A MODEL FAMILY" zeee :::. - :: $$$$ ::`,dNc '$k>e. .ge%, .r`:::"$$f : d$$$F".
