CODEC-Info? GUS-MAX-Revisions? Hi, everybody. Lately bought a GUS-MAX and now I'd like to write some programs for it, especially a kind of HD-recording ( 4 tracks could be too many for my poor 486DX33, lacking a fast harddrive -> no windows!) with realtime-mixing and maybe support for the hardwarecompression of the CODEC for less HDtraffic. Not necessary very close related to this, my questions: - I can find the Digest-Issues before #19 on several FTP-servers, after #21 here on the list-server, but where (if it exists) is number 20. There was a thread going about the CODEC DC-problems and another one about the CODEC-data sheets. If anybody could be so kind and send me the missing info (also don't know if my #19 is complete, and #18??) or direct me to it (the Digest-archives named here seem not to exist or at least the ones in Australia not to be accessed by me). - If the previous doesn't work: I'm loking for the info of the CODEC-data- sheets, especially the ALTERNATE-FEATURE registers (1&2) of the SDK (v222). Can anybody terminate my doubts in matter DDSP (=Dedicated Digital Sound Processor for GUS-MAX) > DSP (Digital Signal Processor)? Any Input about the Interwave of the PnP also appreciated (I've read about reverb and chorus software 'til spring '96, means the hardware already is?). - Anybody knows the differences between GUS-MAX revisions (aren't mentioned in the FAQ), the SDK states a F, gusrev09 says 1.8 ... am I missing anything if I haven't got a 2...?
