I forgot where i got this information. Can someone please tell me more about this? Does it exist? Where can i get it? Another question: is it possible to convert midi songs directly in to MOD's (or MTM, FAR or whatever) using the patches for the GUS used in the song? Of course the GUS patches will need a conversion but that's another problem to me. If so: what's the name of the software package and where can i get that? Thanks in advance! I recently decided to try out different banks with MIDISoft Recording Session and my GUS Classic. I have 40 Megs or so of patches in different banks that I wanted to try out. Under Track Settings in Recording Session is a box for Bank Number. It doesn't matter which of my banks I type in from 0 to 10, I always get the instruments from Bank 0. I have to go into Patch Manager and set the bank I want to use to Bank 0 in order to be able to use those patches in a song in Recording Session. Does anybody know of a way to use multiple banks in MIDISoft Recording Session? I am running Windows 95 on a Ambra 486 DX2/66 8 Mb RAM GUS Classic 1 Mb DRAM Roland PC-200 mkII blah, blah, blah I have the latest Win95 drivers for the GUS. What driver do I select in the Setup menu?, i.e. Extended-Level, Do not use MIDI Mapper, etc... Thanks in advance!!!
