eComStation. This is a first attempt at a port
driver for CUPS for OS/2 & eComStation, based
heavily on the source code for LPR32 by Serge

job to a temporary file, then call cupslpr.exe
(same as lpr.exe in CUPS 1.3.7 but renamed to
avoid confusion with the IBM lpr.exe) with the
appropriate parameters. |

This package contains the eCups PostScript
printer driver for use with HP-LIP. The ECUPS-HP
printer driver (ECUPS-HP.DRV) is a PostScript
printer driver designed for use with eCups.
ECUPS-HP.DRV is based on the original PostScript
driver (PSCRIPT.DRV) from IBM. It includes
several fixes and improvements to enable it to
work more smoothly with CUPS. In addition, this
driver contains support (via pre-compiled PPDs)
for over 600 HP-LIP printer models. This allows
you to assign the appropriate model to your
desktop printer object, and your configured
printer and job settings will be passed on to
CUPS. If you are using Gutenprint, SpliX, or
some other printer support package instead of
HP-LIP, you should use ECUPS.DRV (provided

PSPRINT v30.905. Preview release 5. Replacement
PostScript printer driver with enhanced font
support. PSPRINT is an experimental new version
of the OS/2 PostScript printer driver. Besides a
number of small fixes designed to improve
compatibility with CUPS, PSPRINT's signature
feature is support for TrueType font embedding.
This should significantly improve the quality of
printed text when using TrueType fonts, and may
also speed up printing slightly (although this
is highly dependent on the nature of the
document being printed). PSPRINT is compatible
with CUPS (it includes fixes from the ECUPS
driver); however, it is also designed for direct
printing to PostScript printers. Author: Alex
Taylor. |

quePDF 1.03. quePDF is a cue processor that
manages the pipe between an application and
ePDF. Advantages: fast spooler with a feedback
popup to tell you something is happening;
threaded spooler will spool a new file before
ePDF processing has finished; Maul Publisher
aware, the spooler interfaces with Maul to
provide a highly integrated solution; transfers
document information out of Maul Publisher and
starts ePDF with those parameters; runs quietly
in the background and uses very few resources. |

Streaming Line PRinter (SLPR.PDR) is a streaming
port driver used to connect your computer to a
printer or print server via a TCP/IP connection.
The driver uses Line Printer Daemon (LPD) Protoc
as specified in RFC 1179. This protocol is an
almost universal way to send print data to
printers and servers. It is meant to be used
as a alternative to the \PIPE\LPD0 (henceforth
LPD0) port driver which is shipped with OS/2. |

Universal Port Driver for OS/2 (ArcaOS, eCS)
Version 1.0.0 Build beta 1. The OS/2 Universal
Port Driver (UNI.PDR) redirects the datastream
