What is TripleA:
Triplea is a networked open source gaming engine and clone of a
popular board game. Triplea is released under the Gnu Public License (gpl).
Installing:
Please read the installation
page.
Before you run the game you must first install the java runtime
environment (JRE) on your machine (instructions are provided on the
installation page).
How do I play:
On windows to play the game you simply double click on the triplea.bat
file in the bin directory.
On mac and linux you need to run the triplea.sh command in the bin
directory.
To do that open a terminal prompt, cd to the bin directory, and then
execute the following 2 commands,
chmod +x triplea.sh
./triplea.sh
If you are using a mac, and you dont know how to use the
terminal, please read this instruction
on how to use a terminal here.
Common Problems:
Windows
If you run the game and you get an error message that says 'Bad command
or file name', then you haven’t installed
or set up the java virtual machine correctly. Please see the installation
page for instructions on setting up a java virtual machine on your
computer.
Linux and Mac:
All I get is :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
games/strategy/engine/framework/GameRunner
Solution:
Are you running the command in the bin directory? type
pwd, and the result should end in /bin. If you arent in the bin
directory, change your directory.

TripleA is a volunteer project, and you can help make it better.
We need people to test and contribute better graphics,
but above all we need people to contribute code. If you are
