missing...and that means Bowser must be up to his old Tricks again!
_______________________________________________________________________

-Yoshi's Island 1-
Location: West Of Yoshi's House
Difficulty: *
Things Needed: Any Power-Up
Enemies: Banzai Bills, Rexes, Shell-less Koopa Troopas, and Chargin' Chucks

First, hit the Shell-less Koopa Troopa, go up the platform and there is the
first Dragon Coin. When you continue, crouch because a Banzai Bill could hit
you (*Note: You don't have to crouch if you are small Mario). Continue On and
you find a Rex and a Mushroom (a Fire Flower if you are already Super Mario)
in the flying block. There are three Rexes coming up, climb the platforms and
get your second Dragon Coin. There are two Rexes under you if you want to
kill them. If you keep walking past the first bush, a Mushroom comes out and
you also find one Rex. Climb over the Jumpin' Piranha Plant and read the
Message Block.

Message Block says: Press A Button to jump! Press the R Button to do a Spin
Jump! After nabbing a Mushroom, do Spin Jumps to crush blocks and enemies,
including ones you can't normally jump on.

You have to be Super Mario to spin jump and to get rid of the gold blocks.
If you have a Mushroom, Feather, or Fire Flower, then go to step one. If you
are not Power-Up then go to step two.

1) After you do that, go into the pipe. Get the three coins and spin jump to
get a Mushroom. There is another Message Block if you want to read it; also
there are three coins and the third Dragon Coin. When you leave, you will fly
out and should then pass the Midway Gate.

Message Block says: You can hold an extra item in the box at the top of the
screen. To use that item, press SELECT.

2) If you don't have a Mushroom then continue on past the green pipe, one
Rex, and the Jumpin' Piranha Plant.

If you already beat the Yellow Switch Palace you get a Mushroom in the
Mushroom block. Continue and you shall come up to five Rexes, kill the first
four and go up to the top of the hill and get the fourth Dragon Coin and then
slide down to kill one Rex. You should fall into a hole; crouch because here
comes a Big Bullet Bill. You then come up to one rex and a Message Block.

Message Block says: Hold the B Button to pick up a shell. Let go of the B
Button to throw it. To throw the shell in the air press Up on the Control Pad
and let go of the B Button.

Take the red shell and throw it up to hit the golden block, to get a 1-Up
Mushroom. Watch out here comes a Big Bullet Bill, jump over the gap (*Note:
You don't have to jump if you beat the Yellow Switch Palace) and get the 1-Up
Mushroom. You then come up to one Rex; hit the Prize Box to get a Fire Flower
(*Note: If you are not Super Mario then it will give you a Mushroom). Here
comes two Rexes, after you kill them jump on to the hill before the Big
Bullet Bill comes. After that jump over the Jumpin' Piranha Plant, hit the
Rex, get the fifth and last Dragon Coin and jump on the Chargin' Chucks head
and try to touch the highest of the tape going up and down. You have now
complete level Yoshi's Island 1.
Go to Yellow Switch Palace.
_______________________________________________________________________

-Yellow Switch Palace-
Location: North of Yoshi's Island 1
Difficulty: (Yes, there is no star because this is a VERY easy place)
Things Needed: nothing
Enemies: none

Jump on the P-Switch and coins will now be everywhere. You have about 12-14
seconds to try to get as much coins as you can. After that enter the pipe and
jump on the big yellow ! Switch to change all yellow [ ] s, turning them into
yellow [!] s. Now you can get Mushrooms from these Yellow Mushroom Blocks.
Now go to Yoshi's Island 2.
_______________________________________________________________________
-Yoshi's Island 2-
Location: East of Yoshi's House
Difficulty: *
Things Needed: Any Power-Up
Enemies: Red and Green Shelled Koopa Troopas, Chargin' Chucks, Monty Moles,
and Jumpin' Piranha

First, hold the red shell and kick the shell, to hit all eight Red Shelled
Koopa Troopas. If you see it hit all eight Red Shelled Koopa Troopas, you get
1-Up. Hit the prize blocks and the Mushroom Block, for the two Prize Blocks
gives you coins. The Mushroom Block gives you a Mushroom, continue on and you
will find two prize blocks. The first prize block gives you coins and the
second prize block gives you a Yoshi. It also brings a dialogue about the
Yoshi. Continue on and you will then find a Message Block.

Dialogue for Yoshi say: Hooray! Thank you so much for rescuing me. My name is
Yoshi. When I went to rescue my friends, Browser trapped me in that egg.

Message Block says: Press the A button to jump and the R Button to do a Spin
Jump! After getting a Mushroom, you can crush blocks or enemies. You can also
press the R Button to get off Yoshi's back.

You then come up to your first Dragon Coin and four coins. There are two
Koopa Troopas coming up, one Koopa Troopa has a red shell (if Yoshi sucks it
up, he can spit fire) and the other Koopa Troopa has a green shell (if Yoshi
sucks is up, he can fire the shell back out). I suggest that you kill the Red
Shelled Koopa Troopa and suck in the Green Shell Koopa Troopa. You then come
up to your second Dragon Coin and you go up to find a Chargin' Chuck. Spit
out the green shell to destroy the Chargin' Chuck. You come up to three coins
and your third Dragon Coin. After that, you find a Message Block and a Midway
Gate.

Message Block says: This gate marks the midpoint of this area. If you break
the tape here, you'll be able to continue from this point.

Go over the two pipes to find three prize blocks. The two on the sides give
you coins and the middle one gives you a Yoshi (*Note: If you have a Yoshi it
will give you a 1-Up Mushroom). You then come up to two Monty Moles and two
rotating blocks. First, eat the two Monty Moles and then get off your Yoshi
and hit the second block to make a vine. Climb to vine to get four coins and
your fourth Dragon Coin. Drop down and get your Yoshi, then continue on to
find one Monty Mole. You also find three coins and your fifth and last Dragon
coin. If you already beat the Yellow Switch Palace, then you can get a
Mushroom from the Mushroom Block. Continue, to find a Monty Mole quickly eat
it up and go into the first pipe, to find flying prize blocks. There are two
ways you can do this, one is to use the grab blocks and hit them or just run
and jump off your Yoshi into the air to get them. There are five coin blocks
and a 1-Up Mushroom. Leave the place through the pipe after you are finished.
After you get out, eat or go over the Jumpin' Piranha Plant and hit the
rotating block to drop a P-Switch. Hit the switch and climb on the blocks and
try to touch the tape at the highest point. You are now done with Yoshi's
Island 2. Go to Yoshi's Island 3.
_______________________________________________________________________

-Yoshi's Island 3-
Location: North Of Yoshi's Island 2
Difficulty: *
Things Needed: nothing
Enemies: Red and Green Shelled Koopa Troopas

As you enter the stage, go right a little and there is a Message Block.

Message Block says: The big coins are Dragon Coins. If you pick up five of
these in one area, you get a 1-Up.

After that, go up the platforms and go on the spinning platform and get the
six coins. After you get to the other side, jump on the Mushroom block and
get a Mushroom. Then go on the first rotating blocks lines (they don't rotate
here for some reason) as they move in and out. Fall and get the Mushroom and
go back up and get across. After you get across, get the first Dragon Coin,
go on the spinning platform and get the three coins. Continue and get the
Yoshi and the coin (*Note: If you already have a Yoshi you get a 1-Up
Mushroom). There are two Red Shelled Koopa Troopas above you and continue on
and find one Red Shelled Koopa Troopa and three coins. After that, fall and
go in the pipe. Hit the P-Switch and go and get your second Dragon Coin.
After that take the pipe out and get the two coins on the left. Continue on
after that and cross the Midway Gate and find your third Dragon Coin and a
Green Shelled Koopa Troopa. There is a Message Block coming up if you want to
read it.

Message Block says: When you jump on a foe, you can boost your leap by
holding the A Button. You can press Up on the Control Pad to jump high in

Slot. Insert the Key into the Key Slot and you go to Star World 2! Go to Star
World 2.

2. (Regular Exit) Go all the way to the left side and press R and look for
the second Dragon Coin. Spin Jump and get it then move all the way left to
get a Feather. Go to the next level of Rotating Blocks, go all the way left,
and press R to barely see the third Dragon Coin. Spin Jump and get the third
Dragon Coin and go to the next level of Rotating Blocks. There are two
Starmen in the Rotating Block. Go to the next level of Rotating Blocks, go
all the way left, and Spin Jump. The fourth Dragon Coin is near the third
rotating block from the left side. Go a little right and get the last Dragon
Coin. There are six layers of Rotating Blocks, then enter the Green Pipe at
the bottom right and break the tape. You have now completed Star World 1!

-Star World 2-
Location: Northwest of the Star Road Map
Difficulty: **
Things Needed: Feather on you and in Reserve Block
Enemies: Blurps, Rip Van Fishes

First, go up and get your first Dragon Coin. Then get the Blue Yoshi Shell
and either eat the Starman or eat ten fishes. Go alittle farther right and
get the second Dragon Coin. There is a Prize Block coming up. If you have a
Starman on you, you get another Starman (*NOTE:) After that, get the third
Dragon Coin and go up to find your fourth Dragon Coin. Go all the way near
the end until you get near the Green Pipe. Go up and get the last Dragon
Coin. Now you have two paths (1 Regular and 2 Secret)

1. Go into the Green Pipe and break the white tape. You completed the regular
goal of Star World 2! BUT, it doesn't unlock anything besides getting the
goal done.

2. Go under the Green Pipe area and continue all the way right until you come
up and over to find a Key and Key slot. Insert the Key and you found the
secret exit of Star World 2 that leads to Star World 3! Go to Star World 3.

After Blue Yoshi Hatches he says:
Wahoo! Thank you for rescuing me. I'm a Blue Yoshi. I can fly no matter what
color shell I eat!

-Star World 3-
Location: Northeast of the Star Road Map
Difficulty: * 1/2
Things Needed: Mushroom, Feather, or Fire Flower on you
Enemies: Lakitus and Spinys

This level isn't really hard; the only hard part is to get the Dragon Coins,
which aren't too hard. First, go get the first Dragon Coin on your left and
then make the Yellow Yoshi Egg hatch if you have to. Climb up the Grab Blocks
and get your second Dragon Coin. Now grab a Grab Block and hit the Lakitus
and jump in his cloud. Now you have three choices 1. Regular exit, 2. Secret
Exit, and 3. getting the other three Dragon Coins.

1. Just go to the Exit and do the tape thing. You now beat the regular goal.

2. Fly up to the top and go a little to where the top of the Grab Block in a
line is. Go up and do the Key and Key Slot stuff. You are now done and found
the secret exit! Now go to Star World 4.

3. Go and fly a little near the goal. Take a Grab Block out and start moving
to where the Dragon Coins are. Get Dragon Coins three, four, and five. Now go
back to step 1 or 2 and you are now got all the Dragon Coins in this level.

-Star World 4-
Location: East on the Star Road Map
Difficulty: **
Things Needed: Any color Yoshi you want and Feather on you and in Reserve
Block
Enemies: Red, Yellow, and Blue Shelled Koopa Troopas

First, go across everything until you find two Blue Shelled Koopa Troopas.
Get your first Dragon Coin on the turning thing. Go over two Blue Shelled
Koopa Troopas until you get to platforms with one Blue Shelled Koopa Troopa
on it. Go all the way to the bottom and get your second Dragon Coin. Go back
up and over and hit the Prize block to get a Feather (*NOTE: A Mushroom if
you aren't Super Mario). Next, go on the Spinning Platform and get your third
Dragon Coin. Go over to the next platform and keep on going right until you
go to an area with an Orange Pipe. Get the fourth Dragon Coin on the top of
that and now you have two choices, 1. Regular exit and 2. Secret Exit.

1. Go over and get rid of the Yellow Shelled and go right. Go over the two
Green pipes and keep going right over the Rotating Platforms. Go near the end
and there is the last Dragon Coin and do the tape thing. You now completed
the Regular Goal of Star World 4.

2. (YOU HAVE TO UNLOCKED THE GREEN AND RED SWITCH PALACE) Go underneath and
land on the Green Blocks and then Red Blocks and then insert the Key into the
Key Slot. You now found the Secret Exit for Star World 4. Go to Star World 5.
_____________________________________________________________________________

-Star World 5-
Location: South on the Star Road Map
Difficulty: ***
Things Needed: Blue Yoshi helps the most, Feather on you, and in Reserve
Block
Enemies: Red and Green Shelled Koopa Troopas, Spinys, and Jumpin' Piranha
Plants.

This level requires a lot of jumping. Choose either jumping or flying with a
Yoshi at this level. I recommend Yoshi because you can control a little
better and get the Dragon Coins easier. There are already 2 choices.

1. (Secret) You need a Blue Yoshi to do this. First, Eat a Koopa Troopa and
then fly in the sky and keep press A and hold down Left. Eventually you will
find a path with all the four Switch Palace colors. Go to the end and then
insert the Key into the Key Slot. You have found the Secret Exit to Star
World 5. Go to the Special World!

2. (Regular) First, go over four platforms and there is your first Dragon
Coin. Jump over three more Platforms and drop to get the second Dragon Coin
and then quickly jump right. Go over five platforms and hit the Prize Block
and press Right and let go, until the music ends and then hit the P-Switch
and then walk over. You will have to jump over numerous Koopa Troopas until
you get to the end. After you get to the end jump on the four Rotating
Blocks, get the third Dragon Coin, and then suck a Koopa Troopa up and slowly
go down. Go over two platforms and there is a Yellow Egg. Hatch the Yoshi if
you need to and then continue over the three Yellow Pipes and one Blue Pipe.
Go over four Platforms and jump and the platforms drops and get the last
Dragon Coin and quickly jump to the right platform with one Blue Shelled
Koopa Troopa and two Spinys. Jump up and there are three Spinys and one Blue
Shelled Koopa Troopa. Destroy them and go over and jump and do the tape
thing. You are now done with Star World 5 and Star World 5 is now connected
to Star World 1.

12. FAQs
----------

To send me a question, e-mail me at an_aznboi@yahoo.com.

Q: How do I replay Fortress and Castles?
A: You have to beat Bowser and then you can fight every Fortress or Castle
again.

Q: What is Halloween Mode?
A: Halloween Mode is where the Worlds look different and the enemies in them
have a different look.

Q: Have you beaten the game yet?
A: Yes, I have beaten the game. I also got all Dragon Coins for every level
and I beaten all 96 goals.

Q: Should I buy this game even if I have the SNES version?
A: There are a few things added to the GBA version. If you have some spare
money and would like to get, I would say go ahead.

Q: Which Yoshi is the best?
A: Each Yoshi is good in different things. But, I like the Blue Yoshi the
best because you can fly with this Yoshi no matter what shell is in its
mouth.

Q: Which Power-Up is the best?
A: Well each Power-Up is good, but I like the Feather best. You can fly with
the Feather, and you can also power dive to hurt enemies.

Q: Should I choose Mario or Luigi?
A: I recommend using Mario but, Luigi is good for the levels in which you
have to jump high.

Q: What is the best way to gain 1-Ups?
A: Well the easiest is of course finding a 1-Up Mushroom, but you can get one
several different ways. For example, you can get 1-Up by gaining 100 coins.
Another way, is to match the icons in the bonus round. There are many ways to
get 1-Up, so you can choose which one is easiest for you.

Q: Where is the Green Switch Palace located?
A: It is in the secret exit, in the Donut Plains 2.

Q: Where is the Red Switch Palace located?
A: It is in the secret exit, in Vanilla Dome 2.

Q: Where is the Blue Switch Palace located?
A: It is in the secret exit, in Forest of Illusion 2.

Q: I got all 599 coins in Donut Plains 1. Where can I find the last one?
A: Well, there is a coin above the counter icon. But, if you got that and one
coin is missing, try to fly in the air and find it. Or, there is a couple at
the bottom.

Q: I have (insert home many goals you got here done) goals instead of all 96.
I can't find which level to beat to get all 96 goals. What can I do?
A: Well, you can press SELECT and look at which levels don't have an L or M
next to them. You can try to beat all the hidden levels also. Also, if there
is no L or M next to the levels, beat the level or find the secret exit.

13. Endings
------------

-------------------
13.1 Beating Bowser
-------------------
After you beat Bowser, his Clown Copter turns upside down and Princess Peach
comes falling down onto where you are. Peach gives Mario and kiss and Mario
blushes. A message then appears on the screen and fireworks shoot up in the
sky.

Message says:
Mario and Luigi's adventure is over. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and friends
are all going to take a vacation.

Then, Mario, Peach, and Luigi marches with all the Yoshi Eggs to Yoshi's
House and the Yoshi Eggs hatch into different color Yoshi's. Then, Thank You
appears at the top of the screen. After that, you get a little movie with all
the enemies and their names. Followed by a portrait Bowser and the Koopa
Kids. After that a picture of Mario, Peach, and Luigi comes up with the words
the end on there.

-------------------------
13.2 Beating all 96 Goals
-------------------------
After beating all 96 Goals you get a little movie clip. It starts with Luigi
in a hot-air balloon throwing Mario and Luigi Masks over. A message then
appears and the scene changes to Mario on the ground.

Message Says:
Mario and Luigi have found all of the goals.

Congratulations!!!

Now you can play a slightly different Dinosaur land!

When Mario is on the ground, he jumps on the Koopa Troopa and runs away with
the shell. The Koopa Troopa then goes and puts on the mask. The scene then
goes back to the hot-air balloon and Mario flies in while Luigi is still
throwing out masks. Mario flies in the balloon and then CONGRATULATIONS
banner appears over the M of the hot-air Balloon.

------------------------------
13.3 Getting all Dragon Coins
------------------------------
After you get all Dragon Coins there are a lot of Dragon Coins dropping and
stacking up. Then, there is a big Dragon Coin in the middle of the screen.
Yoshi then comes out and eats it and lays an egg, which hatches into a
Princess coin. Now all Dragon Coins are Princess that in the same place as
the Dragon Coins. The words PERFECT appear with Mario and Luigi giving their
peace signs.
