1.	STORY

In the year 21XX, the world has become a place where the human race coexists
with Reploids. Many years ago a mysterious blue robot was found. Name
Megaman X, this robot possessed a high level of intelligence. It also was
able to display emotions like humans. Megaman X was a robot that people
thought could never be duplicated by modern science. Even though Megaman X
is a good-natured robot with a kind and warm personality, he also has the
power to cause a lot of destruction. Dr. Cain studied and analyzed Megaman
X, and then succeeded in creating the "Reploids." However some Reploids
began to malfunction due to problems with their electronic brain. They are
called "Mavericks." The Reploids who hunt them are called "Maverick
Hunters." In order to help, Megaman X became a Maverick Hunter.

Later a red robot was found. This robot named, "ZERO" had high attack power.
When he was found, he was out of control like all the other Mavericks. The
strongest Reploid, Sigma, helped to bring ZERO under control. Sigma took
ZERO under his watch. After that, ZERO never malfunctioned again and was
eventually promoted to a Special A Level Hunter. Soon after, Sigma rose in
revolt and tried to destroy everything. And then the Mavericks kept
increasing and became more powerful. But thanks to X and ZERO'S work, the
peace was restored over and over again. However...

4.	CHARACTERS

Megaman X The leader of the Hunter Unit 17, Megaman X has sworn to fight
for world peace, though an inner hatred of violence sometimes
            holds him back.

Zero The leader of the Maverick Hunters provides advice and support while
you set out to battle the villains of the past and clear you way to
       the core.

Middy Middy is a computer genius Reploid. Together, he and Dr. Cain
        support X.

Techno Techno used his superior intelligence to hack the Mother Computer
and rewrite data. He joins with Zain and Geemel to hassle Megaman
         X.

Zain Zain is a "Shadow Hunter," a Reploid specialized in combat. He makes
big trouble for X with his gigantic sword.

Geemel Zain's partner Shadow Hunter, Geemel is cunning and mean. He gets
         his kicks harassing Megaman X.

5.	UPGRADES

There are four upgrades for X in the game. Instructions to find the
enhancements are in the walkthrough of the particular stage it's found in.

	Head Upgrade
	Found In: Storm Eagle Stage
Gives X the ability of the head crush and allows you to crush certain blocks.

	Leg Upgrade
	Found In: Chill Penguin Stage
Enhances mobility on the wall. Will allow you to crush certain blocks.

	Body Upgrade
	Found In: Flame Stag Stage
Increases defensive ability. X will receive less damage.

	Arm Upgrade
	Found In: Spark Mandrill Stage
Increases strength of charged shots. Also allows you to charge any special
weapon.

6.	WEAPONS

X-Buster
The usual weapon with unlimited energy. You can charge up the X Buster to a
maximum of three levels by holding B. Each leveled shot causes more damage
than the previous. You can set your X-Buster to Auto Fire or Auto Charge or
both by going to the Options Menu.

Storm Tornado
Received From: Storm Eagle
Fires a tornado horizontally across the screen. It's capable of hitting
enemies multiple times. When charged, X creates a vertical tornado capable
of destroying enemies above and below him.

Shotgun Ice
Received From: Chill Penguin
Fires a small chunk of ice that splits into four smaller chunks of ice when
it hits a wall, obstacle, or enemy. When charged, it creates an ice sled
that damages enemies while going forwards unless it hits a wall. Only lasts
for a couple of seconds, though.

Speed Burner
Received From: Flame Stag
Shoots out to circles of fire forwards. When charged, X dashes towards his
enemy in a ball of fire. X can also execute an air dash with the charged
Speed Burner.

Electric Spark
Received From: Spark Mandrill
Fires an electric spark forwards. If it hits a wall, it'll split into
electric sparks, one ascending, and one descending. When charged, it'll
create two small walls to destroy your enemies.

Rolling Shield
Received From: Armored Armadillo
Sends a blue sphere forwards. If charged, X creates a shield around himself,
allowing him to walk on spikes.

Silk Shot
Received From: Morph Moth
Fires junk downwards. When it hits the ground, it turns into four smaller
chunks of junk. When charged, X shoots out a bigger piece of junk.

Magnet Mine
Received From: Magna Centipede
Fires a small mine that attaches itself to whatever it hits. It will explode
in a few seconds. You can move the mine up and down. When charged, X will
shoot out a sphere that damages enemies.

Spin Wheel
Received From: Wheel Gator
Fires a spiked wheel along the ground that can expose secret passages. When
charged, it fires eight smaller shots in eight directions.

7.	ZERO CAPSULES

The Zero Capsules allow you to call Zero to deal damage to an enemy or
enemies. They feed off an energy bar that refills itself completely every
time you exit a stage. Instructions to find the capsules are in the
walkthrough of the particular stage it's found in.

Z1 ZERO SCRAMBLE: DASH!
This capsule is found in Armored Armadillo's stage. Zero dashes across the
screen, slashing his saber.

Z2 ZERO SCRAMBLE: RISING!
This capsule is found in Wheel Gator's stage. Zero uses an upward saber
slash.

Z3 ZERO SCRAMBLE: EARTH GAIZER!
This capsule is found in Morph Moth's stage. Zero slams his fist into the
ground, causing explosions around the screen.

Z4 ZERO SCRAMBLE: FINAL!
This capsule is found in Magna Centipede's stage. Zero executes a powerful
dash attack across the screen.

8.	WALKTHROUGH FOR NORMAL MODE

a.	INTRODUCTORY STAGE
Items: N/A
Enhancements: N/A
Final Boss: Vava
Weapon Received: N/A

The game begins. X is confused. But hey, you shouldn't if you played
Megaman X for SNES. It's basically the same thing. Blast your way through
the level, getting used to the controls. You'll soon come to the
introductory boss, Vava.

Vava, or as many Megaman fans know as Vile, is easier than before. He can
now be destroyed in the introductory stage. He has two attack patterns: (1)
Dashing towards you while punching and (2) slowly walking towards you trying
to punch you.

Used a combination of charged X-Buster shots and rapid fire shots on Vava and
you should be fine. If he tries to punch you in any way, just jump over him.

X will then warp back to base and meet up with Zero. Zero will tell X
someone broke into the Mother Computer System of the Hunter Base and set its
data to sabotage world order. He also tells X that the Mavericks are
reproducing fighting data of the past. Middy brought X back from the data of
the past. Now X needs to fix the data and must destroy the guardians of the
core. (My walkthrough covers the way I beat the game, but you can beat the
bosses in any order you want.)

b.	STORM EAGLE
Items: Heart Tank, Sub Tank
Enhancements: Head Upgrade
Final Boss: Storm Eagle
Weapon Received: Storm Tornado

Storm Eagle's stage isn't too hard. Just make sure you don't accidentally
fall off a platform. The Sub Tank can be obtained very easily. Ride the
moving platforms to the top and make sure you're still on the left side.
Jump dash off it to the left and you should land on the platform with the Sub
Tank. Ride the platforms up again. After reaching the first Auto Save
point, proceed left and destroy the Mechanoid on the vertically moving
platform. Ride it up and jump left to the area above, where you should find
the Heart Tank. Proceed until you finally see a high wall that you need to
climb up to proceed. Climb to the top of it and instead of going right; drop
down to the right. Stay on the top ledge and dash jump to the right. Climb
up the platform and destroy the barriers to find the capsule with the Head
Upgrade. Once you receive the upgrade, head back up and climb up the
obstacle again. This time go right and proceed until you reach Storm Eagle.

Storm Eagle has a couple of attack patterns: (1) Tries to blow you off while
flapping his wings. (2) Shoots a Storm Tornado at you, attempting to blow you
off. (3) Flies up and drops an egg that hatches into four birds that attempt
to damage you. (4) Flies up and flies towards you, trying to damage you.

Storm Eagle isn't too hard. Set your X-Buster to Auto Charge (if you haven't
already). When he tries to blow you off with his wings, just let loose with
charged X-Buster shots. Do this and keep on dashing to avoid getting blown
away. You can easily avoid the Storm Tornado he fires at you by dashing.
When he drops the egg, destroy it immediately so that it doesn't hatch into
the birds. When he flies towards you, keep moving. Dash away when you see
him come towards you and try to get in a shot when he flies past you.

c.	CHILL PENGUIN
Items: Heart Tank
Enhancements: Leg Upgrade
Final Boss: Chill Penguin
Weapon Received: Shotgun Ice

Chill Penguin's stage is a breeze. You can't miss the Leg Upgrade. It's
right before the second Auto Save point. Use the Mech in the middle of the
stage to bust through everything. Climb out of it after you reach the high
wall. Then climb to the left, not to the right. If you have the Speed
Burner, you can obtain a Heart Tank here. If not, just return later. You'll
soon reach Chill Penguin's lair.

Chill Penguin has four of attack patterns: (1) Spitting ice balls and blocks
towards you. (2) Slides on belly towards you. (3) Creates ice penguins.
Jumps and pulls the lever to make them slide into you. (4) Jumps toward you,
trying to damage you.

Wait for the four blocks to pass and then let loose a charged X-Buster shot
or Speed Burner shot at Chill Penguin. When he creates ice penguins, use a
Storm Tornado to destroy them. You might even get another hit on Chill
Penguin, too! If he attempts to pull the lever, just hit him out of the air
with a charged X-Buster shot or Speed Burner shot. When he jumps towards
you, dash under him and hit him with a charged X-Buster shot or Speed Burner
shot. Continue this until dead.

d.	FLAME STAG
Items: Heart Tank
Enhancements: Body Upgrade
Final Boss: Flame Stag
Weapon Received: Speed Burner

When you begin the stage, you can let the Dozer Beetle bust through the wall
for you, or you can continue upwards. It doesn't matter which way you go.
After the first Auto Save point, you'll come to an area with a 1-Up. Don't
get it. Immediately start climbing the walls. Climb quickly, or else the
lava will consume you. It's necessary for you to have the Leg Upgrade. I've
never gotten through this part without them. Near the top left, you'll see a
Heart Tank. Destroy the robot guarding it and retrieve it. If you die,
that's OK, since you got the Heart Tank. After crossing the crumbling
platforms, you'll see a cave opening, and a wall that the Dozer Beetle will
crush for you. Go through the opening under the wall that the Dozer Beetle
crushes. Dash jump off the edge and you'll come to ledge with the Body
Upgrade. Then dash jump back. If you want to fight Zain, scale the walls
up.

Zain has two attack patterns: (1) He'll jump at you trying to slash at you
with his sword. (2) After he does attack pattern one twice, he'll jump at you
trying to slash you and then execute a spinning attack on the ground.

Use the Shotgun Ice or the X-Buster on him. When he jumps to slash at you,
dash under him and let him have a Shotgun Ice or X-Buster shot. Keep doing
this until he starts spinning. Climb up on one of the walls and wait until
he's done. Then he'll repeat this over and over again. Keep doing shooting
away at him until he's dead.

If you don't want to fight Zain or you've beaten him already, then just
continue across the cave. The rest of the stage isn't too hard. You'll come
to Flame Stag's lair.

Flame Stag has a couple of attack patterns: (1) He throws fireballs at you.
(2) Dashes at you trying to damage you. (3) Dashes up and down the walls
trying to damage you. (4) When the fire on his head turns blue, he can dash
towards you, lift you up in the air, and pummel you to the ground.

Equip the Storm Tornado. Just avoid the fireballs and use Storm Tornado on
him. Whenever he comes towards you, just you the Storm Tornado and he should
be dead in no time.

e.	SPARK MANDRILL
Items: Heart Tank, Sub Tank
Enhancements: Arm Upgrade
Final Boss: Spark Mandrill
Weapon Received: Electric Spark

Spark Mandrill's stage is basically the same as the one in Megaman X for
SNES. After going up the ladders, you'll see a fork in the road. You can go
right or down. Go down. If you have the Leg Upgrade, then you can obtain a
Sub-Tank. Go back up and proceed right. Be careful when the lights go out.
Make sure you don't accidentally fall in a pit. You'll soon come to the
Mini-Boss. It's not too hard, use Storm Tornado on it. A little bit after
the third Auto Save Point, you'll come to an area with no enemies. You'll
see a ladder that takes you down, but there's something to be obtained. If
you climb up the walls you can see a Heart Tank. If you have the Leg
Upgrade, dash off the right wall to the left, left to right, etc., until you
get to the Heart Tank. Proceed until reach to the point where the lights go
out again. Be careful here. Make sure to look up to see if there are some
blocks above you. If you see them, break them with your Head Upgrade and
you'll find Dr. Light's capsule, containing the Arm Upgrade. After receiving
the upgrade, proceed until you reach Spark Mandrill's lair.

Spark Mandrill has a three attack patterns: (1) He'll fire two Electric
Sparks, one to the right and one to the left. They'll run across the ground
and up the walls. (2) He'll dash and punch you. (3) He'll swing on the ledges
at the top of the lair and drop down, trying to damage you.

Use the Shotgun Ice on Spark Mandrill. When you hit him, he'll freeze. Wait
for a second or two, and while he's still frozen, shoot another Shotgun Ice
shot in his direction. He should take more damage. Make sure that he stops
glowing before you shoot him again. If he tries to drop down and damage you,
dash away and shoot him. Continue until dead.

Now you can enter the core! Make sure your Sub Tanks are full and proceed.

f.	THE CORE STAGE 1

Again, this stage is like the first stage of Sigma's castle in Megaman X for
SNES. After a lot of jumping and shooting you'll come to the second Auto
Save point. Save and proceed to fight Zain again.

Zain is the same as before, except now when he spins, he slides across the
room. Use the same strategy as before and he should be done in no time.

Exit his lair and proceed on. The next vertical segment is pretty hard and
you might lose a lot of energy if you're not careful. You'll soon reach the
Core Spider's lair.

Core Spider has two attack patterns: (1) It'll follow a path of its webbing
and try to damage you. (2) It'll fake an attack and drop little spiders
instead.

You can only hit Core Spider when it touches the ground and opens its eye.
Use the Shotgun Ice here. You'll just have to keep on guessing on where it's
going. He usually attempts to find a path that leads closest to where you're
standing. Dash under him and shoot him with the Shotgun Ice whenever
possible. If he drops the spiders, switch to Storm Tornado to disperse of
them quickly. Keep doing this until dead.

g.	THE CORE STAGE 2

Stage two of the core is kind of like the third X-Hunter level in Megaman X2.
It tests your climbing and jumping skills. Here you can get the Street
Fighter moves if you're good enough (Secrets Section). You'll soon come to
Serges Lair.

Serges has a couple of attack patterns: (1) When the guns are still
operational, he can fire four different shots at you from each one. (2) When
the guns are destroyed, he'll shoot out one shot that will break into four
shots going north, south, east, and west. (3) When the guns are destroyed and
he shoots out the first shot that goes north, south, east, and west, he'll
shoot out one shot that will break into four shots going northwest,
northeast, southeast, and southwest. This pattern will go on for the rest of
the battle.

If you don't have the Hadouken, use the Electric Spark to quickly disperse of
the guns. You'll then expose Serges. Try to hit Serges with the Speed
Burner or Hadouken if you can. Remember you can only hit his head, not his
pod.

h. THE CORE STAGE 3

In the beginning of the stage, watch out for spiked walls and clear away the
mechanoids. You'll soon come to the teleportation room. For now it has four
capsules. Storm Eagle is to the top left. Flame Stag is to the top right.
Chill Penguin is to the lower left. Spark Mandrill is to the lower right.
You can fight them in any order you please. Use the same strategies as you
did before. Make sure to take the two power-ups every time you finish a
battle. After defeating all four of them, a new capsule will appear. Take
the remaining power-ups and proceed. You'll come to Sigma's lair.

Sigma has a couple of attack patterns: (1) He'll just stand there waiting for
you to shoot him. He'll block your shots with his sword. (2) He'll dash
towards you can try to slash you with his sword. (3) He'll fire a couple of
shots from his head. (4) He'll dash off the walls trying to damage you.

Equip the Electric Spark for this fight. When the battle begins, climb up
the left wall to the top (and I mean it!) Wait for him to start dashing up
the walls. He'll go left, right, left, right, etc. If you did this right,
he won't damage you when he goes left for the second time. When he's about
to go right the second time, jump off and hit him with an Electric Spark or
charged X-Buster shot. You can also use the Shouryuken after dropping down.
When he touches the ground again, quickly get back up the wall and repeat
this over and over again until he's dead.

i. THE CORE STAGE 4

You'll then find the secret hiding place of the Mavericks and go to disperse
of them. Geemel leaves Techno there and X comes to destroy him. Techno dies
and Middy reveals that Techno was his brother and that if Techno dies, he
does, too. Proceed onto Sigma's lair.

Sigma is just like himself in Megaman X, but even easier than before. He has
four attack patterns: (1) He'll fire a wave of fire across the room. (2)
He'll fire electric shots across the room. (3) His hands fire a lightning
bolt vertically. (4) The opposite hand you're on will fly across the room,
trying to damage you.

When the battle starts, climb up the left wall and leap onto Sigma's left
hand. Fire charged X-Buster shots at him over and over again. Later, when
you have the Rolling Shield, use that on him instead. Watch out for the
thunderbolt. Just stand on the edge of the hand so it doesn't damage you.
Keep doing this until he's dead.

You've beaten Normal Mode! But Middy will open a new mode for you, Hard
Mode. You can start with all your enhancements and weapons.

9.	WALKTHROUGH FOR HARD MODE

You'll have four more Mavericks to beat: Armored Armadillo, Wheel Gator,
Morph Moth, and Magna Centipede. But first, you'll have to beat the
Introduction Stage again. Use the same strategy as before.

a.	WHEEL GATOR

This stage is just the same as Wheel Gator's stage in Megaman X2. Near the
beginning of the stage before dropping down a shaft, climb up the wall.
You'll see a Zero Capsule containing ZERO SCRAMBLE: RISING! Climb up the
wall and get it. Proceed on. After the second Auto Save point, climb up the
ladder. You can see the Heart Tank, but a wall of spikes protects it. Go to
the platform to the right and equip the Speed Burner. Execute a charged
Speed Burner attack to the left so that it's like your Air Dashing. You
should be on the platform with the Heart Tank. When you ascend with the
moving platform later, you have two choices. You can go left to continue the
stage, or you can keep ascending and fight Geemel.

Geemel has two attack patterns: (1) Throws his Ninja star at you. (2)
Disappears periodically and reappears, trying to damage you.

Geemel is very easy. Equip the Speed Burner and just keep firing away. Jump
over the stars that he chucks at you and he'll be done in no time.

Proceed and you'll soon arrive at Wheel Gator's stage.

Wheel Gator has a couple of attack patterns: (1) He shoots two Spin Wheels at
you. (2) He glows and shoots regular shots at you from his mouth. He is
invincible while doing this. (3) He jumps and spins towards you, trying to
damage you. (4) Jumps into the water and shoots two Spin Wheels at you. (5)
Jumps into the water and reappears, trying to bite you, sucking your energy
away.

People have told me to use the Magnet Mines on him, but I like to use the
Hadouken and Shouryuken on him. Avoid all the shots he shoots at you and
charge your X-Buster to use Hadouken from a distance. If you can get close,
use Shouryuken. You can make sure to use your newly acquired Zero Capsule
powers. Be careful when jumps into the water. Climb the walls. When he
tries to bite you, quickly jump away or else prepare to take serious damage.
Keep doing this until he's dead.

b.	ARMORED ARMADILLO

Armored Armadillo's Stage is basically the same as the one as in Megaman X,
with a couple of changes. Don't ride the second mine cart if you're used to
SNES version, or else you can get killed easily. This is still a great place
to fill your Sub Tanks. Anyways, after the first Auto Save point, you'll
fall down a shaft. Hang on to the wall and the Armadillo Excavator will
continue on. When it's gone, go to the left, where it was and you'll find a
Sub Tank. Continue on after the third Auto Save point, where you'll find
another Armadillo Excavator. Quickly switch to the Storm Tornado and destroy
it quickly, or else you'll have no chance to get the Heart Tank lying above.
Take the third mind cart out of the caves and into the air. Dash jump
quickly to the place where in Megaman X for SNES you would get the Hadouken
(above the entrance to Armored Armadillo's lair). Go right and you will find
a Zero Capsule containing ZERO SCRAMBLE: DASH! Drop down and enter Armored
Armadillo's lair.

Armored Armadillo has a couple of attack patterns: (1) He'll stand and shoot
at you. (2) He'll roll around the room. (3) If he still has his armor on,
he'll block your shots, glow, and shoot 5 shots at you.

Armored Armadillo is a little different this time. He can actually block the
Electric Spark this time. Rapidly shoot the Electric Spark so one of them
has a chance of shocking his armor off. Then continue using the Electric
Spark on him until he's dead.

c.	MORPH MOTH

This stage is the same as the one in Megaman X2 for SNES. The Heart Tank can
be found before the first Auto Save point and the Zero Capsule can be found
after the first Auto Save point. Climb up the wall before you get into the
factory and you'll find the Heart Tank along with an Extra Life. Use a Spin
Wheel to destroy the blocks under you before jumping up the wall after the
first Auto Save point and you'll drop to the area with the capsule containing
ZERO SCRAMBLE: EARTH GAIZER! The rest of the stage is pretty easy. To beat
the mini-bosses, just use Storm Tornado on the head of the robot to expose
the insect, and destroy it with the Storm Tornado. You'll soon come to Morph
Moth's lair.

Morph Moth has a couple of attack patterns: (1) When it's in its cocoon,
it'll drop down and dash around the floor, throwing garbage upwards. (2) When
it's in its cocoon, it'll throw garbage around in a clockwise or
counterclockwise motion. (3) When it's in its true form, it'll fly around
spraying pollen. (4) It'll somehow damage you by slowing you down.

You'll face Morph Moth first in his cocoon. It'll show its true form when
you've depleted half of its life. Just use the Speed Burner throughout the
battle and you should be fine.

d.	MAGNA CENTIPEDE

Magna Centipede's stage is basically the same as the one in Megaman X2 for
SNES. Don't trip the last alarm, or else you can't get the Heart Tank. It's
right before the first Auto Save point. Dash jump or use the charged Speed
Burner off the nearby ledge, clinging to the side of the box. Continue your
ascent to find a Heart Tank. Continue and watch out for the falling blocks.
After the area with the falling blocks, you can find the Sub Tank. There is
a long chasm. At the other end, you can see there's a gap in the ceiling
before the second Auto Save point. Use the charged Speed Burner to execute
an Air Dash to reach the wall. Ascend the narrow corridor to find the Sub
Tank. The mini-bosses are not too hard, just use X-Buster and avoid their
attacks. After the first mini-boss, you'll find an area where there are
falling blocks. Ascend up the walls and find the gap in the walls filled
with blocks. Destroy them with your helmet and you'll find the area with the
capsule containing ZERO SCRAMBLE: FINAL! You'll soon come to Magna
Centipede's lair.

Magna Centipede has two attack patterns: (1) He'll let loose his tail and try
to damage you with it. (2) He'll teleport around the room and shoot three
shots at you.

Equip the Silk Shot. Quickly shoot it at him and his tail will disappear.
Now you should be fine. When he reappears after teleporting, hit him with
the Silk Shot. Continue this until he's dead.

e.	THE CORE STAGE 1

This stage is the same as the one in Normal Mode, except of fighting Zain,
you'll fight Geemel.

Geemel has the same attack patterns as last time, and has one new attack.
Once you've taken down half of his life, he'll summon his glider and he'll
hover around the air. Use the same strategy as before and blast him with
Speed Burner and he should be done in no time.

f.	THE CORE STAGE 2

This stage is the same as the one in Normal Mode. See the walkthrough for
this stage above.

g.	THE CORE STAGE 3

The only difference of this stage in Hard Mode is the bosses you fight in the
Teleportation Room. This time, Armored Armadillo is to the Southwest. Wheel
Gator is to the Northwest. Magna Centipede is to the Northeast. Morph Moth
is to the Southeast. Sigma is also the same. Use the above strategy to beat
him.

h.	THE CORE STAGE 4

Sigma is the same as before, except this time use the Rolling Shield on him.
You've beaten Hard Mode! But now Techno opens up and challenges you to
Extreme Mode. Will you accept his challenge?

10. WALKTHROUGH FOR EXTREME MODE

Well, it looks like you have to start over...again. This time you don't
start with any enhancements and there are no dialogues. You get to fight the
eight bosses in any order you want. You still have to get all the upgrades,
Zero Capsules, Sub Tanks, and Heart Tanks. There isn't much difference,
except that in The Core Stage 1, you have to fight Zain and Geemel in
succession. The order of the capsules in The Core Stage 3 is different
also. Here it is from where you enter the room, going clockwise: Chill
Penguin, Storm Eagle, Armored Armadillo, Wheel Gator, Magna Centipede, Morph
Moth, Flame Stag, and Spark Mandrill. Sigma's final form has a new lightning
attack and the claws can teleport in and out of the room. When you finish
the game, Sigma will give you the chance to save, but it'll just save to
Extreme Mode with you having nothing. But you've finished the game!
Congratulations!

11. SECRETS

	STREET FIGHTER MOVES

You can acquire the Street Fighter moves; Hadouken and Shouryuken, just like
from Megaman X and Megaman X2. You have to have all the Heart Tanks, Sub
Tanks, and Capsule Upgrades before you can attempt this. You just need all
the ones from the mode that you're attempting this in. You can get this in
Normal Mode, Hard Mode, and Extreme Mode.

It's found in The Core, Stage 2. You'll see a ladder at the top of the area
next to a spiked wall on the right side. In Normal Mode, you have to
maneuver the second rocket powered platform to the ladder. It's quite hard,
but after a lot of practice and hard work, you can get it (it's well worth
it!) Remember each time you jump on it, it'll go a different direction. It
goes left, up, right, and then down. In Hard or Xtreme Mode, you can use a
charged Rolling Shield to jump on the spikes to the right and jump to the
ladder.

Enter the Auto Save Point and continue through the room until you see a hole
you need to drop through. In Normal Mode, charge your Speed Burner before
you continue. Jump and before you hit the spikes, use the Speed Burner to
dash to the left. In Hard or Extreme Mode, use the charged Rolling Shield to
continue. Slide down the left wall until you find a hole in it and proceed
left. You'll find the capsule. Dr. Light will give you the Hadouken and
Shouryuken. You can only use these moves when you're X-Buster is charged to
the maximum and when you're on the ground. You can execute the Hadouken by
pressing Forward and B. You can execute the Shouryuken by pressing Up and B.
Remember that these don't immediately destroy a boss, but they destroy any
other basic enemy. These can also be saved.
