=INTRODUCTION=
==============

Wow. Have you played this game? Well, I guess you have if you are reading this.
This is a great game. I have not been hooked on a game like this since Kingdom
Hearts. I have been putting around 5-6 hours a day on this and have enjoyed
every m inue of it. The only problem is this. Making a FAQ for this game will
prove to be difficult. With so many choices and so many different paths, it
will take a long time to get it all. So here is what we will do. This will be a
darkside FAQ, Normal setting. Using a male Soldier. Sound good? Maybe as I
progress I will add choices and different outcomes. I am playing as medium
light at the moment but will start another game and go dark and I will add what
happens in the Light game in contrast when my memory works. =P Thank you for
reading and I hope this FAQ will help at lest some of you. Have fun!

8.GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS
===================

This is an quick explanation of the basic combat and gameplay elements for
reference.

QUESTS

The main element of this game is quests. You progrwess through the game
completing quests that revolve around the main storyline and also many side
quests that offer the chance for more credits(money) and XP(experience points).
I strongly suggest taking on every quest you can find. It can only help you
especially in later levels. You can always check the quest section of your
character menu to get info and hints on what you need to do next to complete
the quest.

COMBAT MODE

When you confront an enemy the game will pause. Now you can choose your next
course of action. (Attack, a skill, a grenade, a feat, a Force Power, or an
item). When you press A to select the action you will enter into combat.

The red rectangel is the action mode. You can see what action you have queued
up and you can change it during active combat by selecting a new action or
hitting the white button to pause the game and select another action. I suggest
using the pause choice when you have a large fight on your hands as things get
kind of hectic.

You can also ise the X button to queue up 3 seperate actions that will take
place. For example, use a grenade, use a medpac, use a feat, then he will go
back to basic attack mode. So you just sit and watch.

For the majority of the game you will be fighting in a group. By default, party
members will always enter combat in response to the player engaging the enemy.
To change this you can assign specific scripts to your party members to guide
their actions or you can hit the white button to pause and then use the black
button to scroll through each member in your combat party and select and action
or a set of 3 actions using the X button.

SCRIPTS

There are 3 scripts you can assign to your individual partty members.

DEFAULT ATTACK

Characters will attack the nearest enemy using their equipped weapons. They
will use feats, Force Powers and occasionally medpacs. This si the most
balanced combat action.

GRENADIER

Characters will use grenades in combat when appropriate. If party members are
in the danger of being caught within the blast radius, or if there is only one
target , a grenade will not be used. Otherwise, the character will follow the
Default Attack action.

JEDI SUPPORT

Characters will use Force powers until they have no Force points left. When
that happens they will follow the Dfault Attack action.

STEALTH MODE

Stealth mode covers the player in a camouflage field. Enemies must make ana
awarness check versus the players character's Stealth skill to see them. Only
useable by characters who have spent points in the Stealth skill and are
equipped with a Stealth field generator. Combat cancels stealth mode.

USING A COMPUTER OR DROID

You can use computers and broken down droids in the game to help you fufill
quests or to kill enemies you don't wish to confronf face to face. When trying
to do one of these you will need computer spikes to hack and repair parts to
fix a droid. Just fiollow the screen and it will tell you how many spikes or
parts for each action available for you. I suggest using this skill a lot.

9.MINI-GAMES
============

There are 2 minigames I have found so far in this game. I am near the end at
the time of writing this so I think these will be it, Swoop Racing and Pazaak.
Here is a descrition of each. I will submit strategies later.

SWOOP RACING

Basically you are on the swoop track alone and have to beat a predetermined
time. Press the A button once to activate the thrusters when you see the green
light. Steer over the acceleration pads to receive speed boots, which are vital
to completing the track under the time to beat. Watch your speed gauge and hit
the A button when it prompts you too or you lose speed and can pretty much
comsider that run a waste of credits.

PAZAAK

You can find your first Pazaak deck on Taris in the upperworld Catina. I will
be suggesting you go there first in the walkthrough cause this is a good game
to get early and play throughout the game.

You will meet Pazaak players all over the galaxy as you play the game. When you
want to play find one and challenge him. You are then prompted to place a bet.
The max bets increase over time.

You then enter the deck screen where you choose your Side Deck. A Side Deck
consists of 10 cards from your main deck.

The object of the game is to have the face up cards total higher than the
opponents hand without exceeding a total of 20. If a players total is greater
than 20 then the player has BUSTED. You need to win 3 sets to win the match.

When the match begins 4 cards from your selected side deck are raqndomly drawn
and placed in front of you to use throught the enitre game. These cards can
respresent a card with values anywhere between +/-1 to +/-6. You can use these
cards to help you achieve a total of 20. BUt be careful to use them wisely
cause they must last the entire match.

10.WALKTHROUGH
==============

This will be as spoiler free as I can possibly make it. If there is some huge
spoiler then I will make sure to give a warning. This game has an exellent
story and has many good plot twists so if you can stay spoiler free, you will
love this game more. Enjoy and I hope this helps.

Go create your character any way you seem fit. I created a Soldier.

10.1-ENDAR SPIRE
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

After the common Star Wars opening scene you will taken into the Endar Spire.
You are awakended by some explosions when you are told that a Sith fleet is
attacking. Answer his questions anyway you want. You will learn that you need
to go find Bastilla. Again, no matter what you naswer you will be going with
him to find her.

When done chatting go to your foot locker and grab your gear. XP 50

Now equip the clothing and whichever weapon you prefer. Use the blaster for
long range attacks and the sword for close combat.

Talk to Trask and he will join your party. Then you will recieve a small
tutorial on how the party menu works.

Now that trask is in your party, hit the black button and use his ability to
open the door. XP 100

Now you are controlling your character again. You step out and receive a
message from Carth. You know have your first quest, which isto get to the
bridge and help protect Bastilla.

Go to the next door and it is locked. Switch to Trask and use his security
ability to open the door.

Now you get to fight. Use your blaster on these enemies since they are down the
corridor. Or if you want, get close and slice them with your sword.

When you dispose of the soldiers you may need healing. Trask will fill you in
on how to accomplish that.

Head straight to the next door and fight the enemies inside.

In this room you will find the following: In metal box- medpac and 10 credits
dead soldier- repair kit and 6 credits footlocker-2 frag grenades, short sword,
long sword, and combat suit.

Equip the combat suit and the long sword if you are going melee style.

Go through the next door and kill the enemies. Just peek around the first
corner and lock on to one of the 3 Sith down the hall and test out a frag
grenade for a quick disposal. After they are killed a few more will follow the
same fate.

In this area you will find: Remains- 12 credits Remains- medpac Remains-
medpac, frag grenade Parts pile- parts

Go through the only door that can open.to find some people fighting it out
lightsaber syle.. After they kill each other fight the remaining Sith soldiers.

In this area you will find Remains- 7 credites and poison grenade Remains-
medpac Remains- medpac Remains- Adrenal Strength and vibration cell

The door staight ahead of you is the Bridge. Be sure to equip both you and
Trask with melee weapons. After disposing of a few enemies Trask notices that
Bastilia is not on the bridge. Now your quest requires you to go find the
escape pods and get the hell off that ship before the Sith destroy it.

On the bridge you will find: Remains- Medpac and Repair Kit

Go to the next door, and level up if you have not yet. Go through the door and
through the next door. Trask will hold off a Dark Jedi while you go to the
escape pods.

Head to the door immediately on your left. You will get another report from
Carth asking you to meet him at the escape pods. So let's go!

Kill the Sith Soldier and head to the only working door. On here is 2 more
Sith.

In this area you will find: Footlocker- 5 computer spikes and 7 parts

When dead Carth will warn you of the threat in the next room. Use the computer
on the left side of the room to view your current situation. Doesn't look good.
You can use the computer to overload the power conduit in the next room to kill
the Sith or use the robot to kill them. Let's use the computer. IT takes 5
spikes.

That was fun and gained you XP150

Open the door and find some stuff on the dead Sith bodies.

In this area you will find:\ Remains- 12 credits, Ion Blaster, Prototype
Vibroblade, Adrenal Strength

Open the door to find Carth and the escape pods. XP 250

Go to the escape pod and leave the Endar Spire and watch the pretty cut scene.

=================================================================

10.2-TARIS
-=-=-=-=-=

Mission List for Taris
----------------------
The Search for Bastila
The Duel Ring
Carth
Dia's Bounty
Rakghoul Serum

You wake up in an apartment with Carth on the planet Taris.

After a nice long talk with Carth you have gained your first Quest on Taris. XP
350

Your new quest is to search for Bastilla. Not exactly new but you catch my
drift. You need to go investigate the reports of escape pods that crashed in
the Undercity of Taris.

Before leaving check the apartment out.

Footlocker- 2 comp spikes 3 medpacs

There is also a workbench here to upgrade your melee weapons if you want. Check
it out.

When done playing house, head on out of your apartment and take carth with you.
You will see a cut-scene and then have to fight 2 Battle Droids and a Sith
Soldier. No problem. Use the Ion rblaster if you want on the droids.

Well seems you helped some Blue headed alien dude. Tell him to stay out of your
way or you will kill him just to get the feel of being an evil bastard.

For winning this fight you should have leveled up. If not, you will soon. At
this point it is up to you whether you want to level your character up each
level or hold off. Either way you should experience no problems.

SPOILERS

If you wait till you become a Jedi you can use your level ups to gain more Jedi
abilities.

END OF SPOILERS

After this firght check the bodies for some booty: Remains: Blaster Rifle, Frag
Grenade, Poison Grenade, Adrenal Strength, and Adrenal Stamina.

Switch to Carth and use his security skill to open the low level security door.
In the room you will find Dia. Be mean, very mean. Ask her some questions and
she will talk about a bounty hunter named Holden who has a price on her head.
Tell her you will kill her to make money, and eventually you will fight her.
Kill her to receive your much deserved Dark Points. Then take the bag behind
the chairs on the right side of the room and receive: Comp spike, medpac, and 6
credits. Then leave.

Now you will come across Larrim. He has some items for sale and wishes to tell
you about Energy Sheilds. get one if you can or want, but not really needed. Be
mean again and Carth will complain about your attitude.

Now have Carth open the next room. In here you will find a Twi'Lek. She doesn't
talk much so take her loot: Parts, comp spike and 10 credits

Skip the door to the Upper City for now and go to the next room In there you
find an Ithorian. Take his bag and receive the Comp spike, parts, and 5
credits.

In the next room you will just find a footlocker with a medpac, comp spike and
1 credit.

Now you should come across the Janitor. Speak to him if you want info or to be
mean and piss Carth off.

UPPER CITY SOUTH
---------------------------------

Now you have searched the Aprtment area so now you can head to the Upper City.
Here you will get a rather lame but easy quest. You are given a small
explanation of the Rapid Transit System. This will allow you to transport back
to your hideout and heal and then go back to where you transported from. The
hitch though is that this system is unavailable when in combat or in "action"
areas. So let's try it and get our first quest done and over with shall we. XP

Walk around if you want, talk to the people. Get a feel for the land. Or follow
me. Also talk to Carth. He will want to talk about...stuff.

Head straight across to Kelba's Emporioum. Talk to her to get some info on the
Taris scene and info on Davik, Swoop Races, and The Sith. If you feel the need
to spend some credits feel free to go shopping. Although you should have around
53 credits.

Leave and head the way you were going and you will find the Cantina.

CANTINA
---------------

First thing to do in the Cantina is to talk to the man at the end of the first
room on the right, Garolik. Here you will be able to buy your Pazaak Deck and
get a free lesson. When you are done go and talk to the guy across from him,
Niklos and see what the real action is all about. Sure you can't bet much if
anything but it is a fun game.

Now go talk to the girl behind him. If you did bad against Nikolas she will elt
you know how much you suck. If you did good she will jhit on you. It's all for
fun so do as you wish.

Now go enter the main room of the Cantina. Talk to Sarna and give her crap for
being a Sith if you want. Head to your left from where you entered and go to
the first room which is the Arena Area

Afer the cutscene go talk to everyone and then when you are ready go talk to
the Hut. After some talk you will become the Mysterious Stranger. Go ahead, we
need credits so go to your first deul against, Deadeye. Should take one hit
with a sword. Don't get overconfident though, they only get harder.

Next Battle is against Gerlon Two-Fingers. I used a melee weapon since he is
good with his blaster. Didn't take too long to beat him.

Next match is Ice. I used my melee weapon again and had no problem. Collect
your money. There is also a medpac in this room.

You can go against Marl but good luck. It's time to put this quest on hold for
now and go find something else to do until you level up some. But you made some
decent credits and gained some XP so it's all good.

Go back out to the main room and turn left to the next room. Go speak to the
woman., Gana Lavin. She is a spoiled brat, and be sure to tell her that. That
is all you need to do here.

Exit back to main area and keep going left to the next room. Look at the pretty
dancers then leave.

You have gone in a complete circle and done all you can so head to the exit.
But now there is a hooded dude by the exit, Bendak StarKiller. Be sure to have
a chat with him. He is the old Dueling Champ but has retired, so trah talk him
before leaving the Cantina.

UPPER CITY SOUTH
---------------------------------

Head on back towards the Emporium and you will see some thugs waiting for you.
Looks like you offended that girl Gana Lavin. Good for you! Kill the thugs,
they shouldn't prove to difficult. Use a melee weapon due to close quarters.
Pick up the 2 vibroblades and buy some equipment if you need it. Then head back
to the main part of the City. Head East. If you are confused, go to your map
and point the arrow east.

You will come across a bounty hunter working for Davik giving some guy some
grief. You can kill them if you want or let them go. Pretty sure you get
lightside points for killing them though. Let me know some alternatives if you
got some.

Head South to the Medical Faciclity

MEDICAL FACILITY
-------------------------------

Go talk to Zelka Forn. Ask questions about the rakghouls and the cure. You need
info, so get it. Tell him you will find the serum for him. This will get you a
new quest.

Have Carth open the locked door to find something interesting. Talk to Zelka
and Persuade/theaten him. This should work, then tell him to pay up or you go
to the Sith with what you found. Ignore Carth and you will get 100 credits and
some Dark Poiints.

As you are leaving Gurnry will stop you and talk to you about an offer. Davik
will pay 10x's more credits for the serum. To do this you need to find the
serum and take it to Zax in the Lower City Bounty Office.

Head out North and heat to Upper City North across the way.

UPPER CITY NORTH
----------------------------------

Head straight across to the North Apartments.

NORTH APARTMENTS
----------------------------------

Head to the right after the load screen. Have Carth open the locked door.
Inside is Largo. Caht with him and you will find out he owes Davik money.
He will offer you 50 credits to keep quiet on his whereabouts. In his
footlocker is:
medpac, Computer Spike, 12 credits

Head back out into the hall and continue to the right.

You will find an empty room with a footlocker containing:
Parts, medpac, and 18 credits

The next room is guarded by a Sith Guard. Inside a Sith Soldier is
interogatting an alien about some missing Sith uniforms. Let them kill the
alien and then enter the room to prompt the Guard to question you.
Threaten the Guard, then you get to kill him and the other soldier.

Pick up the following items: (Bodies and footlocker)
48 credits
Sith Armor(XP 300)
Medpac
Blaster Rifle(2)
Sonic Grenade
Adrenal Alcrity
Adrenal Strength
Poison Grenade
Concussion Grenade
Parts
Computer Spike

Leave and head to the next room and check the footlocker for: Parts, medpac,
and 11 credits

Have Carth open the next apartment. In the footlocker you will find computer
spike, parts, and 1 credit.

Now leave and head back to the North Upper City.

NORTH UPPER CITY
----------------

Head west and you should run into a few obnoxious drinks. To get those beloved
dark points take the 3rd option, then be ready to battle. Kill them and grab
the following item: 32 credits

Keep heading west. You should see 3 people talking. Talk to Gorten Colu. He
seems to not enjoy aliens being on Taris. Agree with everything he says and
he will ask your help to spread the word that aliens need to be slaughtered.

After that head to the north and you will see a Sith Guard. He will require
authorization papers to use the elevator to get to the Lower City. Don't worry
about that now. Keep going north and you will come to the Sith Base. Just
remember where it is, you will get to go in later.

Go back to the center and head to the area to the South.

ROID SHOP
----------

Talk to her. She will talk about the T3-M4 Droid she has. Sounds like a nice
droid, but it's not for sale. Buy something if you want but there won't be much
of anything you need so move along.

Now put your Sith Armor on and head to the Elevator.

Yay!!! The Sith was fooled and will let you and Carth down to the Lower City.
XP 350, XP50

LOWER CITY
----------

Be ready to fight. Make sure you are all healed before moving along.

You wll witness a gamg fight between the Beks and Vulkars. When the Beks are
dead, the Vulakrs will turn their weapons on you and Carth. This fight will be
a bit more difficult than earlier battles, but doable. Get the loot after you
kill them: Vulkar Shock Stick

Head straight to the Lower Apartments.

LOWER APARTMENTS
----------------

As usual go right and have Carth open the low security door. A Twi'Lek named
Matrick will be startled by your presence. thell him to shut up, then kill him
Take the Mesh Underlay and then check the footlocker: Medpac, Computer Spike,
and 20 credits.

Head out and you should run into some Vulkars. For fun use a poison grenade and
have Carth use his power blast. Should be a quick battle.

In the next room check the desk for The Twisted Rancor Trio. Go into your
inventory and read it. The hint on how to get that footlocker in the middle of
the room can be found in there. If you just wnat the answer then look below.

-------------
PUZZLE ANSWER
-------------

Go to the holograms in this order:

1 Elinda
2 Ujaa
3 Uji
4 Loopa
5 Fodo
6 Ashana

Now open the footlocker and receive the Echani Fiber Armor and 50 credits.

Put the armor on you and put Carth in the Combat Suit you were wearing I hope.

Head back out and to the next apartment.

This si a tough fight. Throw a frag grenade in the room to get their health
down a little.

Off the dead Vulkars you get:
36 credits
frag grenade
Heavy Blaster
Advance Medpac
Advanced Repair Kit

Head out and go to the next apartment. Dispose of the two Black Vulkars and
loot the bodies and apartment for the following items:
16 credits
parts
Computer Spikes

In the next apartment kill the Vulkar and take the loot:
15 credits
medpac
computer spike

Head back out to the Lower City. Don't forget to heal if needed.

LOWER CITY
----------

Head to the right and you will come to Javyar's Cantina

JAVYAR'S CANTINA
----------------

Inside you see Uriah. Buy some Pazaak cards if you want. - cards or -/+
cards are good to have. But don't spend to much money as you need a lot
soon.

Next talk to gelrood. Play him if you want. Always a good way to take a
break.

When you enter the main area of the Cantina you will go into a cutscene.
Calo Nord, the famous Bounty Hunter, seems to be finishing up some business.

Talk to him after if you want, but don't let him get to 3 or you will be
dead in one shot.

Head to the left and into the first room. Here you find Zax. But first go
talk to the dancer on the left and dance with her. It's fun to take a dive
but do whatever you want. I took a dive and received no dark points.

After that go talk to Zax. Start off by asking him about Bounties. You
should get 300 credits fr each bounty we have finished: Dia and Matrik.

In speaking with Zax he will ask for 100 credits for information. Pay him.
Go through everything when talking to him. The main point will be that you
want to find Gadon, leader of the Beks. You will also learn about codes
that will get a ship off the planet. They are in the Sith Base from ealier.

Head back out to the main part of the Cantina and another scene will take
place. A girl is getting harassed by some alien scum. Her pal a Wookie will
help make the aliens back off and leave. Go talk to them. Her name is
Mission and the Wookie's name is Zazlbar. She will tell you about Davik's
ship the Ebon Hawk.

Check out the next 2 rooms if you want. Not really much excpet you can
question Holdan for some info about the Ebon Hawk.

Head out of the Cantina.

LOWER CITY
----------

Head left. You should come to the not so hidden Hidden Beks Base.
Tell the Guard that you want to help fight the Vulkars and she will
let you pass.

Head straight and some chick will get all bent out of shape at your presence.
The guy next to her telling her to shut it is Gadon, the leader of the Beks.

You learn that the Vulkars have Bastila and she is the prize in the upcoming
Swoop Race. So you need to enter the race and win to save her. How to do that?
Well you need to get into the Vulkars base and steal the stolen prototype
swoop engine that will guarantee your victory in the Swoop Race. You need
to find Mission in the Undercity to get help on entering the Vulkars Base.
To get to the Undercity you need authorization papers. Trade your Sith
Armor for the papers with Gadon.

When done getting all the info walk around the base if you like. Not much
to see though.

Head back to the Lower City.

LOWER CITY
----------

Head to the right. You should run into more Vulkars. Kill them of course.
Pick up the following items from their dead bodies:
Adrenal Strength, Frag Grenade.

You will then come to another scripted event. One of Davik's Bounty Hunters
is shaking down some Vulkar gang members. Then Canderous shows up and the
Vulkars change their attitude. You can't talk to them but follow them
to the Lower City Apartments.

LOWER CITY APARTMENTS
---------------------

Calo Nord is at it again. Just watch the scene.

Anyway, head right. You should get into a fight with some Vulkars. Kill them,
grab their loot and go back to the first apartment. Kill the Vulkar. In
the footlocker is a medpac, parts, and 13 credits.

Go into the next apartment, have Carth open the locked door. Inside is Selven,
on of your bounties. Time to collect. After killing her pick up the following:
Scope
Sonic Grenade
Adrenal Amplifier
Neural Band
In the footlocker is a computer spike, medpac, 3 credits.
