Introduction
============
In the year 200X, people surf the 'net using Net-Navi's, online avatars
who are a match for the user's personality.

Of course, all is not perfect in this utopia, as a gang called "WWW" is
wreaking all sorts of havoc with viruses.

You, as "Net" Hikari, and your Navi "rockman.exe" start to feel the
effects of this gang in your life, and are doing something about it...

This is a very preliminary work-in-progress, that I'm basically using to
get myself through the game for the time being. I plan on just going through
and completing the game first, and then go back and try to make this document
a bit more comprehensive. That's the plan, anyway.

Walkthrough
===========
Note: This walkthrough is very preliminary, and I may have left out a step
or two. At least the School passcodes are in there, and you should be able
to use the tried-and-true RPG method of talking to everyone and everything
if you find you can't proceed.

Part 0: Introduction and Training
---------------------------------
After you wake up, pick up your PET from the desk across the room and head
down the stairs and outside. Mail will meet you, and the two of you will walk
to school together.

In school, talk to everyone until the bell rings, and then fight the three
quick battles to teach you how to use RockMan in battles. After school, exit
the room and head back home.

Part 1: Fire in the Kitchen
---------------------------
Go upstairs and Transmit to your home computer, and continue until you pick
up the item there. Once you're done, exit the system and go downstairs.

There will be a fire in the kitchen, so go to the range and Transmit into the
kitchen system. Explore the area until you get the Ice Block and RockMan
gets knocked out, which will take you back to Net. Run upstairs and look in
the drawers where you first found the PET to get the Water Gun. Run back
downstairs to put out some of the fire, and you'll be back in control of
RockMan.

You'll be able to use up to 6 Ice Blocks to put out parts of the fire, so make
a path to the boss, FireMan. After killing him, you'll exit the kitchen
system and be done for the day. Go to bed, and prepare for the next day...

Part 2: School-Jack!?
---------------------
The next day, head to school, and talk to everyone in class until the bell
rings. Once the School computers are attacked, talk to Mail to get a Roll
chip, then Transmit into the school computer.

In this scenario, you'll go back and forth between school and the school's
computer, encountering various locked systems that require passcodes. The
passcodes for the system are: 9, 30, 20, 15, 19, and finally 31. When
RockMan is zapped in the system, just go to the PC room and access the front
right school desk to free him.

You'll also need to free Mariko-Sensei (she's stuck in a closet), and you'll
then finally meet up with Number Man, the boss of this area. Just take out
the lowest-numbered sphere when he throws them with your buster, and you'll
be fine.

Part 3: Internet Mission 1
--------------------------
After school, go to the Metro Rail and talk to everyone, then go to Dekao's
house and beat GutsMan to get a link. Then go home and transmit to your
computer and use the link to move to the next area. Explore around until you
find Stone Man, who has created a blockage of the Metro.

Once you defeat him, you can take the Metro to the city. Go into the
building, through the hallway, and then take the red elevator up to your
father's office. Use the pet on his office system (the one near his coat) and
talk to the creature there to get another link, then go back to the metro,
use the computer there to get a pass, take the Metro back home, and head to
bed.

Part 4: No Water for the Town!
------------------------------
When you wake up the next morning, you'll learn that the city's out of water,
but first you have to go to school. Go to class, talk to Yaito to start
the day, then leave class and head to the Metro station. Buy a ticket from
the computers, then take the Metro to the city.

Go into the building, and approach Enzan at the desk next to the blue
elevator. From there, take the hallway and the red elevator to go to your
father's office, search his coat for an ID card, and then head back down and
take the blue elevator. You can explore down here for a while, and when
you're done, go back up to your father's office.

After you wait until everyone's left for the day, you can head back down
in the blue elevator again and activate the terminal just outside the
elevator. As RockMan, you'll meet Blues on your way in, but he won't stop
you.

In the first area, to get over the ice blocks when you need to go a different
direction, just run onto the block diagonally, and you'll slide to the other
side (you have to do this twice). Turn of the faucet, and take the one-way
path to the second area.

In the second area, just take the only available path along until you reach
the faucet, turn it on then off, then double-back and take the newly created
path to the third area.

In the third area, take the left path, turn off the faucets, then continue on
to the fourth area.

In the fourth area, run along and take the last down-right ice-path, then go
up-right to continue on to face two Polar Bears, your mini-boss for this area.

After defeating them, take the Metro back home, and go to the school to
celebrate the return of the now-poisoned water. Oops. Go to the car next
to the Chip Shop to release a young man, who will give you a faucet handle.
Take the Metro back to the city, and head back down to the water plant
terminal.

On your second time into the water terminal, go to the second area, but don't
take the first exit you see going to the third area. Instead, continue
onward to the faucet with no handle. Use it twice to turn it off, then
continue along this new path, turn off one more faucet, then move on to the
boss areas.

In the first boss area, you'll actually want to turn and off the first faucet
you see so you can take a the left path past the large ice block. From there,
you can easily move on to the second boss area, in which you'll want to take
the second path from the "top". From there, go up, turn the faucet on and
off, drop back onto the ice field, and take the path that drops down a hole
on the other side of a hole that you couldn't get to before. Go up, turn
on and off the next faucet, slide out to that vertical row of blocks, and
slide to the down-right path off the ice field and onto the third area.

In the third area, it'll just take some fancy diagonal manouvering to first
get to the faucet (on and off), and then back to the path that you opened
up with the faucet. Once you've done that, it's time to take on IceMan, who
is actually pretty simple to dispatch considering the creatures you had to
go through to get to him.

(End of Par 4...To be continued?)
