1. Introduction

2. Version History
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.0 - 6/2/02 - Every section up, besides the version history and the
credits                               section. The walkthrough section is up,
but not completed.

Version 1.1 - 6/3/02 - First walkthrough written, and credits section added.

3. Tips For Survival
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dodge - This is essential to winning! Use your speed to kill enemies. They
can't hurt what          they can't catch right?

Faster Shooting - For the beginning of the game, when you only have a choice of
"Mr. 3-D" or                   "Ego", tap the fire button (whichever one you
need) rapidly. If you hold                    the button, it fires a lot
slower. This is not true for "Faceman", "Roz",                   or "Wild
Bill", as the gun fire is way faster if you hold the button.

Quick Destruction - If you need to destroy a bulding or enemy quick, and don't 
                                want to use hellfires, hold down the chain gun
button while                                 pressing the hydra button rapidly.
This is guaranteed to                                    blow something up
fast.

Conserve Fuel - Don't pick up fuel until the fuel indicator hits around 30.

Conserve Ammo - Don't pick up ammo until all your major & heavy weapons are
depleted.

Stay Out of Danger Zones - Whenever you see, "Danger Zone!" appear on the
bottom of the
                           screen, stay away! All enemies in the danger area
have increased
                           armor, strength, and fire rate.

4. Basic Controls

Up - Move forward, decrease altitude (F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter only).

Down - Move in reverse, increase altitude (F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter
only).

Left - Turn Left.

Right - Turn right.

6. Level Walkthroughs
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These walkthroughs won't tell you every last detail, such as getting fuel,
ammo, etc. It will guide you through the missions.

Mission One: Washington D.C.
-----------------------------
Lift off and go for the monuments in this order: Washington, Jefferson, then
the Library of Congress. After this go for the top left Terrorist HQ, then the
bottom left, and lastly the bottom right. After this destroy all the carbombs,
one hellfire will put them where they belong. Then, go save Agent Akbar, he's
in one of the civilian houses. It's not hard to spot, it's the only one with
police outside. After this, go escort the President to the White House, there
will be quite a few attack vans along the way, so be ready. Near the White
House, there is an objective at the C.I.A. to be completed, so accomplish this
while escorting the President. Once you do that and escort him all the way to
the place, land at home base.

Mission Two: Sub Hunt
------------------------------
Lift off and go for the top green dot on your radar screen. Shoot the enemies
with your chain gun, and feel free to shoot the shark if you want (In Urban
Strike, the sequel, it's almost essential.). Airlift the two SEALs over to the
helicopter near your base. After that, fly to the left and fire one hydra per
bazooka (APHID) man. Land your Commanche at the LZ, next to the hovercraft.
Once your in control again, go under the bridge to the North. The first
plutonium crates to go for are the ones on land, but if you run into a boat
with one on board, lay a mine in front of it, then pick up the crate. Remember,
to pick something up, don't go full speed at it, slow down and go next to it.
Get all the land plutonium, and after your done that, go up to the top right
corner. In that area are two AAAs. Destroy them, then destroy the booth. This
will make 2 ammo crates & 1 fuel barrel available...just in case, even though
you shouldn't need them. Go out to sea and grab the other plutonium crates.
After this, go save "Faceman". By the way, you can hold the fire button(s) in
now, he fires pretty quick, unless you have a quick thumb. Now for the final
objective, the nuclear submarines. Easy, go in front of a moving sub, lay a
mine....it's no more. This works for all but the last sub.....actually it does
work, but you have to collide with it and lay a mine at the right time (I know,
I did it. Just back into it.). Otherwise, just fill it with light rockets, and
reload when necessary. Finally, go back to the LZ, and park your hovercraft.
Fly back to base (Doesn't it feel good to fly again?).

Mission Three: Training Grounds
--------------------------------
Lift off & fly to the left and down. You should find a Humvee and an APHID.
Destroy them, and then blow up the tents. The reason I told you to do this, is
that there is a quick ladder under the tents. After this neutralize all the
watch towers, and the tents around them. Once you do this, your next objective
is to rescue a green beret. Before you do this, destroy the the closest radar
to you...it should be on the way to the green beret anyway.
Once you pick him up, go to the LZ and destroy the watch tower. Land and watch
the cool animation of the enemy flag going down and the U.S. flag going up.
Next, go rescue the communications expert. Don't miss the extra life in the
Sheridan above his building. Be careful when you go to take him to the phone
lines, there is a big danger zone near there. While your at the lines, destroy
the closest radar. Take out the tank depot and look out for enemies who have
surrendered, you can pick them up. Once that's done, go take out the HQs to the
North of the tank depot. Capture all of the generals, and grab an ammo crate,
armor crate, and a fuel crate, they will no longer be needed anyway...so why
take a risk of dying?
The reason they aren't needed anymore, is that you're on the last objective.
Anyway, go down to the buildings and blow them up. Beware of Gatling Guns &
watch towers. Once a building is destroyed, blow up the box inside. Once you
find the nuclear reactor, pick it up. After the FMV, go back to base.

Mission Four: Night Strike
--------------------------------
This one can be pretty tough, so be careful. Lift off and fly to the left and
destroy all the watch towers in a clockwise direction. Once that's done find
the green beret in the area, keep an eye out for a flare. After you pick him
up, look at your map. Change it to objective 7, and go to that yellow dot.
Beware, it's a danger zone here, but you still have to capture him. Once you've
captured him he will tell you where all the ammo & fuel is. Go back to
objective 2, and drop the green beret at the LZ. There are enemies present,
beware the ACAR, take it out first. Next, destroy all the chopper pads, it
might be necessary to destroy the chopper before the pad. After this save the
scientists and the POWs. One of the POWs is "Roz"....she's much better than
"Faceman", and your chain gun just became one of your best weapons. Now go
demolish the weapon plants & the weapons inside. Then go back to base.

Mission Five: Puloso City
--------------------------------
Lift off and fly to the "battle", between the U.N. and 2 AK-47s and a Tactical.
Blow them up, using the chain gun, then go to the first objective. Kill
everyone around the building, then blow it up, and save the U.N. members that
come out. Repeat until you complete that objective. After that, go destroy the
drug plants, and the everything inside...except the scientists, capture them.
Next, go and do the same with the counterfeiting plants. After this, destroy
the radar dish on the police station near the power grid. Then destroy the
power grid, it's not heavily guarded, just a few APHIDs. Go back North and
destroy the buildings that are listed as objective 5. Land at the police
station and, using your motorcycle, lay a mine in front of the armored cars,
and collect the detonators. Park your motorcycle at the LZ and switch to the
commanche. Pick up some C4, preferably all of it, and go to the Druglord's
warroom. Drop your co-pilot off, and clear all the external opposition. Once
that's done your co-pilot will run out the door, so pick him up and go to home
base.

Mission Six: Snow Fortress
--------------------------------
Lift off and go along the top of the screen. If you go too far towards the LZ,
a danger zone will pop up, along with 2 Abrams M1 tanks! Kill all opposition
around the camp, blow the bunkers open, and save the people. One of these
prisoners is "Wild Bill", this guy is as good as co-pilots get. Go destroy the
tanks at the LZ (don't worry, there's no danger zone).
Drop the prisoners off, and blow up all the houses around the LZ. One of the
houses contains a quick ladder. Go destroy the mobile radar surrounding the
patriot missiles. Next, kill all the enemies inside the missile storage area.
Blow open the warehouses and the missiles inside. After that, capture the
Soviet general. Go South and destroy the "secret" mobile radar covering the
power grid. Next, go destroy the launchers. A good strategy I used to demolish
them, was to get behind it, so that the enemy shot at their own weapon. After
that's over, blow up the power grid. There's an extra life down there
somewhere, find it. Finally, destroy the underground snow bunkers and destroy
the stuff inside, but don't destroy the warheads. Pick up the warheads and head
for home base.

Mission Seven: River Raid
--------------------------------
Lift off and head to the right. When you find a set of 3 Twin Guns and 4 little
pyramids, open fire on the Twin Guns. Once that's done, grab the exta lives
under the pyramids (that's right, 4 lives!). Go down to the F-117A and clear
all the enemy forces. Land at the LZ, and switch to the F-117A. This thing can
get tricky to control, but once you get used to it, you'll be fine. Destroy all
the bridges, and then the drug fields. Remember, you have unlimited ammo &
fuel, so have some fun if you want. Destroy the patriot missile launchers, and
head for the oil fields. This part is hard, and might test your patience.
Destroy all the oil containers, and head for the "ruins". Blow them all open,
and land back at the LZ. In your Commanche, pick up all the contents of the
ruins that you blew open. Then go to home base.

Mission Eight: Mountains
--------------------------------
Get ready, this level is easily the hardest one in the game. Lift off and head
carefully for the Control Towers, and when in range, open fire on them like a
madman....you don't have time to save ammo. Why? As soon as you hit one of
them, an Abrams M1 Battle Tank appears...and so does a "Danger Zone!". With
that, these things will take you down quicker than you can think. Once one set
is down, the other set will be no real trouble. After this, go destroy all the
Tomahawk missiles, but beware of the most powerful enemies in the game....the
Mobile Battle Cannon. Don't let these things touch you, at full armor they can
kill you in 5 shots! Not to mention they're armored to the teeth! Once that's
done, destroy the power station, which is not an easy task. It's protected by
radar, which I have yet to find (if anyone finds it, tell me. I'll give you
full credit in the FAQ), which only makes the 4 Twin Guns worse. Forget firing
at the Twin Guns, aim for the power station, and hit it hard (don't worry about
ammo, reload afterwards). Next, go to the villa, and kill everyone outside.
Fire like a madman yet again, and blow it up. Catch Carlos Ortega along the
upper right side of the screen, and head to the airstrip. Blow everything up
along it, and go to the right towards the Madman's bunker. Wipe the 4 Gatling
Guns out first, then shoot a hole in the right side of the bunker. It takes a
massive amount of ammo, but there are reloads nearby. Once there's a hole, go
to the Southeast and clear the LZ. Land and your co-piot will drive the truck
to the hole of the bunker. Pick him up, and then fire you chain gun at the
truck and the whole bunker will explode. Then the Madman will start to fly away
in his chopper, take him down with all the ammo you want. Pick him up and head
for home.

Mission Nine: Return Home
--------------------------------
Lift off and follow the chopper, kill all enemies along the way. Next, hunt
down all the enemy forces still in the city, and teach them a lesson. After
this, go destroy the armored cars, and capture the generals inside. Fly North
and catch the Drug Lord escaping in a tour bus, you know what to do with the
bus. Next, fly South and destroy the Madman's gas truck.
Once that's done, fly to one of the trucks with nukes in them and fire like
crazy. Pick up ammo if needed, and repeat until the mission is complete. Land
at base....and enjoy the ending, you've earned it...
