***SECTION III - INTRODUCTION TO THE DRAGON WARRIOR II COMPLETE GUIDE**
***********************************************************************

{Intro as follows taken from the instruction manual introduction that
came with the game cartridge of Dragon Warrior II, and is copyrighted to
Enix.}

Though the time of his deeds has long faded, still the name Erdrick
commands respect among even the greatest of warriors. Stories of his
lineage are legendary throughout the land and have been retold through
the ages in the most remote villages and townships. Long ago a young
man, who was a descendent of Erdrick saved the Kingdom of Alefgard by
defeating the dreaded Dragonlord. The young man came to this land
accompanied by Princess Gwaelin. Together they built TORLAND.

This legend has been handed down generation to generation from the
ancient time. Princess Gwaelin brought forth three children. To the
eldest prince was given the land of Midenhall. To the youngest prince
the land of Cannock became his birthright. The youngest princess was
given the land of Moonbrooke. The people of these kingdoms lived in
peace for 100 years. One day, however, this peace suddenly came to an
end. Hargon the Sorcerer attacked Moonbrooke Castle and attempted to
rule the world by calling the ill-omened gods from the dark. Although
terrible losses were suffered, one soldier escaped the sacking of
Moonbrooke Castle. Though seriously wounded, he made his way to
Midenhall Castle to warn the King. The King was old and could not go
forth to do battle against Hargon, so he turned to his heir to accept
this task. Yes, you are the heir to the King and a true descendent of
Erdrick the Great. Before you lies a world of mystery and imagination.
You will encounter enemies and riddles which will test your strength
and knowledge. Your journey has just begun...

{End instruction booklet intro!}---------------------------------------

Hello, and welcome to the Complete Guide for Dragon Warrior. I am your
RPG expert host and game-companion, Colin Moriarty.

Dragon Warrior II was released in the United States in 1990 on the NES,
Nintendo Entertainment System. Released one year earlier in Japan on the
Famicom (Japanese NES) as Dragon Quest II, it was the pioneering game of
the four Dragon Warriors on the NES because it was the first to feature
multiple playable characters, something the first Dragon Warrior didn't
have, and something that every Dragon Warrior since, up to and including
Playstation's Dragon Warrior VII, does have.

Also called (not only by name, but on the game screen itself), Dragon
Warrior Part II, Dragon Warrior II, as it is more commonly named and
referred, featured three playable characters. The "hero" whom goes by a
name you choose, as well as a Prince (of Cannock) and a Princess (of
Moonbrooke), both of whom have randomly generated names. The Hero is
mainly a strength, brute force character, while the Prince and Princess
are both magic users, vital to the success of your quest.

Coincidentally, many Dragon Warrior buffs, including myself, find Dragon
Warrior II to be the most boring in the series of games. I tell you this
simply because I'm honest; better Dragon Warrior games are found in the
first episode, and especially in III and IV, all found on the NES.
However, if you are a fan of the series like myself, or you simply want
to fully experience the series, this is why you are looking here for
help. The game is difficult. Those of you who thought the first Dragon
Warrior was difficult are in for a surprise. It's a lot tougher.

Although you have more characters to fight enemies with, enemies no
longer appear alone. Groups of up to three enemies at a time can appear
to challenge you. Although this is not usually much of a threat,
difficult monsters can easily corner your entire team and make quick
work out of your party. Furthermore, since you now have a party of three
to work with, more tactical action must be taken in battle. The hero in
the first Dragon Warrior could use magic -and- attack with a powerful
punch. In this game, you have a powerful hero who can't use magic, a
semi-powerful Prince who is semi-strong magic user, and a very strong
magic-using Princess who has no physical attack strength. Knowing this,
make sure to use tactics when you finally do assemble your party. Have a
mgic user silence or somehow stop the enemy from attacking or using
spells, et cetera, have another magic user heal the party, and use the
hero to attack. That is a very common battle methodology, but it is
definetly not the only one!

So, my friend, are you ready for your adventure? I sure hope so, you're
in for one wild ride, on the second installment of the most popular RPG
series in history.

************************SECTION IV - CONTROLS*************************
***********************************************************************

Before I explain how to use the controls of the game, I figure the best
thing to teach it is a visual aid. Although the game isn't ridiculously
hard at all, it would be easier than anything for you to figure out the
controls by simply looking at an ASCII replica of an NES controller.
Below the replica is an explanation of what each button does in the
game, from left to right.
                            _________________________________

*D-Pad* - The D-Pad (or Directional Pad) allows you to make your
character move in any direction that you want it to. It also allows you
to scroll the various menus in the game. Remember that with the Prince
and Princess in pursuit of you at all times, the D-Pad will
automatically control all three characters.

*Select* - The Select button has no function in this game.

*Start* - The Start button is used to pause the game and select some
things from menus, especially that of the beginning, before starting the
actual game itself.

*A* - The A button is truly the primary button in the game. Through this
button, commands are selected and instructions are carried out. The
basic all around button. Brings up menus, used to select commands and
options on the menu.

*B* - The "cancel" button. If you bring up the menu and you don't want
it up, you simply hit the B button to make it go away. Not used for
anything else, really.

***********************************************************************
*SECTION V - THE MENUS (GAME START, WALK-AROUND, BATTLE, AND AUTO-MENU)
***********************************************************************

There are four main menus in the game that I will go over with you here
so that when you decide to begin the game, you'll know what you're
doing! =)

MENU #1 - The "Game Start" Menu

The "Game Start" Menu is what I lovingly call the first few menus that
appear as you turn on the game, and either select to begin a new quest
or continue your quest.

Right when you first turn on your console, some copyright information
will appear and then you press start to be brought to the main screen,
which says DRAGON WARRIOR PART II. You'll see a knight walking up
towards you with a torch, and once he appears, the Prince and Princess
do the same. Then it'll say PRESS START. Do so. From there, if you don't
have a game saved on your battery pack in the game, it'll say "Begin A
New Quest", and when you select that, it'll bring you to a mini-screen
that'll make you chose which part of the battery save you'd like to use.
Select one of the three (there'll be three, two, one, or even none,
depending on how many saves are present on the cartridge). "Adventure
Log 1" (or 2 or 3) select.

From here it's time to choose a name. Use the directional pad and the A
button to select the letters you want and the B button to go back if you
make a mistake. When you're done, go down to "End" in the lower right-
hand corner and press A. It'll then ask you "Which message speed do you
want to use." I prefer "Fast" although many people prefer "Normal." DO
NOT use "Slow"... it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too slow. =)

From here the story will begin, with you at the castle being sacked by
Hargon's evil minions. Welcome to Dragon Warrior II...

If you already have saves on your battery, however, the menu'll look
more like this:

CONTINUE A QUEST
CHANGE MESSAGE SPEED
BEGIN A NEW QUEST
COPY A QUEST
ERASE A QUEST

a.) Continue a Quest - Select "Continue a Quest" if there is a game
saved on your cartridge already that you'd like to play. Press the A
button on "Continue a Quest" and then a mini-screen'll come up that'll
have the games saved on the cartridge that you can resume from. Chose
your game with the A button and from there, you'll be brought to where
ever the last place is you saved from.

b.) Change Message Speed - If you have a game saved on the cartridge and
you don't like the message speed, choose this option with the A button.
It'll then bring up the game(s) saved on the battery you want to change
the message configuration around of. Once you chose that with A, it'll
ask you "Which message speed do you want to use." Choose one of the
three options with A and then you'll be transported back to the five-
option screen.

c.) Begin A New Quest - If you want to begin a new quest, choose this
option. (see above for how to make a new game!)

d.) Copy a Quest - If you want to copy a quest already saved on your
cartridge to another slot on the battery, chose this option. Chose it
with A, and then it'll bring up the saves on the battery. Press A on
whatever save you want to copy and then it'll bring up any available
slots for you to copy it to. From there, press A to copy the game.

e.) Erase a Quest - To erase your quest, choose this option with the A
button. Then pick the game save you want to erase with the A button.
From there, it'll bring up two menus. One will say "[Character's Name]
Level [_] Do you want to erase this character?" and the other menu'll
say "Yes" and "No". Choose one with the A button.

MENU #2 - The "Walk-Around" Menu

The "Walk Around" Menu is the menu you use to do all of your commands
the game entails. Enix decided to make it easier this time around for
the gamer, however, so instead of eight commands that you could use for
your character in Dragon Warrior, Dragon Warrior II has been cut down to
six commands. Still existing from the prior installment are Talk,
Status, Search, Spell, and Item. A new option is "Equip." The three
options scrapped from the original Dragon Warrior are Stairs, Door, and
Take.

Anyway, here's what the menu looks like, in ASCII art.

  _______COMMAND_______
TALK SPELL
STATUS ITEM
SEARCH__________EQUIP

Bad, I know. =) Anyway, here's an explanation of what each one means!

*Talk - The talk option is used to talk to the various townsfolk and
shopkeepers you'll come across on your journey. Make sure you're facing
the person and are RIGHT next to them, facing them, and then use this
option. Otherwise, it'll say, "No one is in that direction."

*Status - The status option allows you to see your character's vital
stats. First, if you have more than one character in your party (and you
will unless you're just starting the game), after choosing "Status"
you'll have to pick which character you want to see the status of. Once
you choose which character to see stats on, you'll see stats for the
following.
Name: The Name of your character.
Strength: The strength of your character.
Agility: Your character's ability to stay alive.
Hit Points: The amount of hit points that character currently has.
Maximum HP: The maximum amount of hit points your character can have.
Magic Power: The amount of magic power that character currently has.
Maximum MP: The maximum amount of magic points your character can have.
Attack Power: How much damage your character can dish.
Defense Power: How much damage your character can take.
Experience Points: The amount of experience points that character has.

Once you're done with this screen, press A to see the next screen, which
shows how much gold you have, as well as the Crests you have found (see
the walkthrough and appendixes for more on Crests), and then all of the
weapons and armor pieces your character has equipped. There will be an
"E" next to each item equipped on your character. Press A again to get
back to the game.

*Search - The search command is used to search the ground for something
hidden. Use it on top of the area where you think something secret might
be laying. If there is nothing there, it'll say, "[Your Character]
searched all about. But [Your Character] found nothing." Also, Search
takes the job of what "Take" was in Dragon Warrior. (the original.)
Instead of going over a treasure chest and choosing "Take" just use
Search and he'll search the treasure chest and get whatever is in there.

*Spell - The spell command is a command only the Prince and Princess can
use, because they are the magic using characters of the game. Once you
choose which character to use a spell with (the Hero can't use spells),
it'll ask you what spell to use, and then if you're able to use that
spell outside of battle, it'll ask you who to use it on. Some spells are
able to be casted outside of battle but will have no effect, depending
on surroundings, et cetera.

*Item - Use this option to see what items you have in your inventory.
Since each character in the game that you use (that is, three of them),
each have their own inventory, once you choose Item, choose whose
inventory you'd like to view, and then look at the weapons, armor, and
items that particular character has. Anything with an "E" next to it is
equipped on that character.

MENU #3 - The "Battle" Menu

The "Battle Menu" is a menu that allows you to choose commands when in
battle. Your battles are considered "random encounters," so you can't
use battle commands (outside of white magic) outside of battle. Each
character has a different "Battle Menu"...

THE HERO!

The Hero, a non-magic using character of brute-strength, has a Battle
Menu that looks something like this:

_NAME_
FIGHT
RUN
PARRY
_ITEM_

*Fight - Choose this option, the main option you'll use in all fights
with the hero, to attack your enemy with whatever weapon you have
equipped. Do keep in mind that sometimes when you attack you'll do
critical damage (or above average damage) to your target, and othertimes
you'll miss completely. This has a lot to do with the enemy's level,
your agility and level, et cetera.

*Run - Choose this option if you feel you're over-powered in a fight,
you think you're gonna perish, or if you just don't feel like fighting.
Don't use this option, so I suggest, unless absolutely necessary. You
MUST level up a lot in this game to stand a chance. There's no ifs ands
or buts about it. (keep in mind that enemies can flee from battle as
well, and often use their own run command when THEY themselves feel
over-powered in battle).

*Parry - The Parry command is a common command found in nearly all RPGs.
It basically means "defend," and you should definetly use this command
if you feel overpowered in battle or need to be healed, or you simply
want to not lose as many hit points from a battle hit by an enemy.
Defending allows you to take strong blows from enemies and lose little
HP, but using this option should be a last resort. You can't attack or
use magic that turn if you use this command.

*Item - Finally, the item command allows you to chose an item to use in
battle, which is almost always some sort of healing herb. Most items
can't be used actively in battle, so be aware of that when choosing
certain items, otherwise you'll be hindered.

On the other hand, the Prince and Princess' Battle Menus look more like
this...

_NAME_
FIGHT
SPELL
PARRY
_ITEM_

Everything is the same for the two magic users except that they can't
use the Run command, they instead have the Spell command. They can still
flee from battle, however. Only the Hero can make that decision,
however.

*Fight - Choose this option, although as magic users, these two
characters should be concentrating more on healing the party and harming
enemy monsters with magic. Their attacks, especially those of the
Princess, don't do much, so you'll want to make sure to use more magic,
and let the Hero do most of the physical attacking.

*Spell - The spell command, naturally, is the spell-casting characters'
main option. Both characters have the option to use magic of the healing
nature (white), and those of the harmful nature (black). Although there
is no black magic and white magic in the game, it's simply a
generlization. Spells of white nature can be used outside of battle,
usually.

MENU #4 - The "Auto-Menu"

The Auto-Menu is a menu that comes up whenever you're playing but you're
not moving or using any commands. It's basically a reminder menu, with
some basic information on it. Below is an ASCII art replica.

_NAME_LV__HP__MP__
HERO -- -- --
PRINCE-- -- --
PR'CES--__--__--__

Now when you are standing still, this will come up. Depending on which
characters you have at the time, one to three names will be on the list,
almost always three. On this list, it shows the name of the character
(NAME), and then the character's level (LV), the amount of hitpoints he
has at the time (HP), and the amount of magic points that character has
(MP). [Keep in mind that the Hero will ALWAYS have 0 MPs, as he can't
use magic.]

************************************************************************
*********************SECTION VI - THE CHARACTERS**********************
***********************************************************************

There are three playable characters in the game. They are as follows.

*Hero - The Hero of the game is a direct descendant of the famous
Erdrick, who was the great hero of Alefgard. A decendant of Erdrick, the
hero of Dragon Warrior I conquered and defeated the Dragonlord 100 years
prior to where Dragon Warrior II takes place. After the defeat,
Erdrick's descendant founded the kingdom of Torland with Princess
Gwaelin, daughter of King Lorik, a man of Erdrick's lore. As the Prince
of Torland, and heir to the throne, your father, the King of Torland,
sends you out to battle the evil Hargon and stop him from destroying the
kingdom that was founded by Erdrick's decendants.

*Prince of Cannock - The Prince of Cannock is also an heir of Erdrick. A
powerful magic user, with adequete attacking ability, the Prince of
Cannock is found after a wild goose chase, so to speak, in the very
beginning of the game. He's not in his own castle, nor the Spring of
Bravery... you find him looking for you in Leftwyne. Weird
circumstances. =)

*Princess of Moonbrooke - The Princess of Moonbrooke is the weakest
character in the game. She has a low defense and low attacking power.
Her magic power, however, leaves not much to be desired. She has
powerful spellcasting abilities, and can heal the party or cause major
damage to the enemies you are fighting. Use her and her ability wisely,
but do us all a favor and don't attack physically with her. It's just
not worth it. =)

************************************************************************
**********************SECTION VII - THE TERRAIN***********************
***********************************************************************

The terrain found in the game of Dragon Warrior II is similar, if not
identical, to those found in the previous Dragon Warrior game, as well
as the rest on the NES, up and to Dragon Warrior IV. However, you must
understand the different kinds of terrain to be successful in the game.
Everything from encounter rates to damage given can be effected
completly by the terrain you are currently working on. Below are some
terrain explanations, and below those, a small table can be found, where
easy-to-read charts for quick reference on terrain can be found, giving
you only the most vital information for your quest.

[Please keep in mind that this information can't be supported, it's
approximations really. It's what I've found through playing the game.
I'm sure that, although my information is accurate, there can be added
or missing information on my encounter rates and damage taken. Well,
you'll see what I mean, I'm sure I've confused you enough by now. =)]

*Grass*
Grasslands make up most of the world map, when you are wondering around
outsidde in the world of Torland. The encounter rate on grasslands are
low, and mostly low-grade enemies are commonly found on these pieces of
land. You can travel quickest, with little interruption by enemies, by
taking your cross-land routes over grass.

*Heavy Grass*
Similar to regular grass, optimal routes to and fro can be found on
heavy grasses as well, although I found that the encounter rates are
slightly higher on these dark green patches of grass. Enemies are a mix
here as well.

*Forests*
The forest has an increased encounter rate as well as some pretty tough
enemies, combined with a few normal and weak enemies as well. Forests
are okay routes to go through (sometimes you can't avoid going through
them at all), so going through them really isn't a major problem.
Furthermore, they are always bunched together so they can easily be
avoided, on the flipside of the coin.

*Deserts*
The deserts have similar encounter rates, I've found, to that of the
forest. The monsters are a mixed bunch, usually specialized to the
desert region. Deserts are sometimes easy to avoid, but the large
deserts have to be gone through, so you can't really avoid them.

*Hills*
The hills are the most annoying land feature to traverse through. They
have mostly strong enemies in them, and the encounter rate is extremely
high. They also impede how fast you can travel. You don't shoot through
the hills like you do other features. To get over them, you have to deal
with slow travel and strong enemies, found in constant encounters.

*Poison Swamps*
The poison swamps have a pretty high encounter rate coupled with the
fact that each step takes a certain amount (1-2 HPs) off each of your
characters. It's possible to kill your entire party in a swamp, without
even realizing you're taking any energy away from yourself until the
screen turns orangish, and by that time it may be too late to escape
your impending doom. Certain armors allow you to cross over these swamps
unharmed, however. Until then, use your healing spells and items to
cross over them.

*Magic Floors*
Magic floors are a rare kind of floor that can only be traversed over by
one who wears Erdrick's Armor. Otherwise, each step will take over 20
HPs from each of your characters. They are mainly found in small bunched
around the Dragon Warrior II world, guarding treasure chests and people
behind them always have something interesting and important to share.
Dungeons and the final castle, especially, have many magic floors.

*Mountains*
Mountains cannot be traversed over by any means, so you don't need to
worry about them.

*Dungeon/Castle/Cave Floors*
The floors of dungeons, caves, and castles have moderate encounter rates
and don't take any damage from your enemy. Being that entire castles,
caves, and dungeons are made up of this generic floor type, they are
entirely unavoidable.

AND NOW... the chart for easy reading...

****PLEASE KEEP IN MIND****
This information, found both in the tables and in the explanations above
the tables, as mentioned beforehand, are approximations, and although
accurate, are not 100% accurate. They are meant to basically give you,
the gamer, an idea of what to expect.

*****************SECTION VIII - THE TOWN AND CASTLE*******************
***********************************************************************

Various towns and castles exist around the world of Dragon Warrior II to
aid you in many ways. Not only can you rest at Inns at all of the towns
and some castles, but you can also buy various weapons, piece of armor,
and items for your characters. Most vitally, you can also collect
information by talking to the townfolk and royalty of the towns and
castles, as they give hints as to the whereabouts of secrets and special
items, where to go next in your quest, and some background information
on whatever it is you're searching for as well.

There are sections in this guide that further cover the towns and
castles far more in-depth. This very short section is basically just a
reminder and source, so you can know that towns and castles are very,
very important to the success of your quest. And onward we go...

************************************************************************
*******************SECTION IX - THE BATTLE SYSTEM*********************
***********************************************************************

Dragon Warrior II's battle system certainly follows the traditional
steps of most early RPGs, and even some RPGs today. It's basically the
same as with the original Dragon Warrior, so if you played Dragon
Warrior for the NES before playing this Dragon Warrior (I), then you
should be all set. There are only a few minor changes in this edition,
however.

Instead of controlling only one character, you now have full control
over three characters. The Hero, the Prince, and the Princess. Each
character has different abilities, basically, so you'll have to know how
to fight with each character thoroughly to have a lot of success in the
game.

As mentioned in the "Characters" section above, the Hero uses no magic,
so he instead gets the ability "Run" instead of the ability "spell"
which the other two magic-using characters get to use. So his battle
command window looks a lil' something like this. [PLEASE NOTE: This
information can be found in the "Windows" section found a few sections
before this section, word for word. Being that I need to explain the
battle section in its own section, however, it really is vital that
people read this, so again, it's word-for-word.]

NAME_
FIGHT
RUN
PARRY

Spells of white nature can be used outside of battle,
usually.

**************SECTION X - SAVING AND OTHER PREGAME TIPS***************
***********************************************************************

The walkthrough is in the next section, but before we actually get
there, I think it's pretty important I give you some pre-game tips to
help you out.

<> WHEN IN DOUBT, SAVE! AND SAVE OFTEN!
Nothing is worse then having to start the game from a place you were
hours ago because you got killed by some enemies. You have to save, and
you have to save OFTEN. YOu can save with the King, and if you have the
special item where you can save anywhere, use that instead. I own this
game, as well as the other three Dragon Warrior games, on the NES, but
since I'm on a computer, I'm actually playing the ROM of the game for
this walkthrough, on a NES emulator (Famtasia), so I save using the
emulator browser, by "saving my state." So I won't be mentioning AT ALL
in the walkthrough to save. Just know you have to do it often.

<> LEVEL UP A LOT, ALWAYS BE WAY STRONGER THAN YOUR ENEMY
You can't possibly comprehend how important it is to level up in this
game. It's like this in ALL Dragon Warrior games on the NES. From one
area to another the enemies get much stronger, so you can be kicking the
garbage out of enemies in one area, cross a bridge, and get utterly
destroyed in the next area by the next area's monsters. So take the time
to level up, always be WAY ahead of the enemies you're fighting at the
time so that the enemies in the next area won't give you too much
trouble. Either that, or pay the piper. =)

<> BUY THE BEST WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT AS SOON AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE
Trust me when I say good weapons and armor can make all the difference.
If you come across a new town with new gear for your characters, run
around outside of town and get enough money making sure your characters
all have the optimum equipment at the soonest possible time. Plus, all
of this fighting to get the money... it gets you to level up. Kill two
birds with one stone; good stuff.

And finally...

<> HEAL OFTEN, HEAL SMART!
Healing is obviously a very important part of your survival in the game.
If you don't heal yourself, you're eventually going to sucuumb to the
pressures of monsters and perish. To avoid this, use spells, herbs, and
the Inn often, making sure you always have enough HP to get to and fro
wherever it is you're venturing to at the time. I say "heal smart"
because don't waste an Inn or a Medical Herb if you have MP to spare.
That's just how it should be. The only time this shouldn't be is if
conservation of MP is your game. Then you take another route. It's up to
you, but heed the words of thine... heal often.

And now... the walkthrough...!

************************************************************************
**********************SECTION XI - WALKTHROUGH!***********************
***********************************************************************

Welcome, readers, to the main section of the guide; the walkthrough.
Here's where you'll find step by step instructions on how to defeat this
game quickly, efficiently, and most important - easily. Here we go!

PLEASE NOTE!!! I will NOT, NOT, NOT tell you anywhere in the walkthrough
to go see the King to save your game, 'nor use any other method to save
the game. You should do it on your own whims and make sure to do it
often, after going up a level, et cetera. It's VITAL, because if you
die, you'll lose half of your gold pieces you had at time of death, plus
you'll start the game in the castle, mostly far from where you were at
the time of death. So save often, save responsibly. =)

AND NOW... THE WALKTHROUGH!

COMING SOON!

************************************************************************
*****************SECTION XII - THE QUICK WALKTHROUGH******************
***********************************************************************

This is something I've just done for the first time in one of my guides,
which is in the original Dragon Warrior. So, again, I've decided to
throw this in here. This is not like the regular walkthrough
above... this is instead a quick run-through of the game, step by step,
no in-depth stuff, just running on through it. This is if you have the
general idea, you're just stuck on what to do next. I saw this on a
walkthrough on GameFAQs for Zelda: Majora's Mask on the Nintendo64 back
when I was playing that in November of 2000, so I thought I'd throw in a
quick one of my own for Dragon Warrior II! Here we go!

COMING SOON!

*******************SECTION XIII - TOWN SHOP LISTS*********************
***********************************************************************

(Please keep in mind that the following castles, towns, and villages are
in the order that we first come across them during our quest.)

*******************SECTION XIV - MONSTER APPENDIX*********************
***********************************************************************

This is the monster appendix. This area of the guide will show you the
stats and descriptions of all of the enemies you'll encounter on your
journey, and can be almost as useful as the walkthrough itself. Below is
a chart of the enemies, and some of their stats for easy viewing. Below
the chart is a more expansive layout of the enemies with their stats and
in-depth descriptions of the enemy. Enjoy.

[A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Woodus at www.woodus.com for allowing me
to check my stats for the monsters with what he had at his webpage. You
definetly want to check out his Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest webpage,
which can be found at www.woodus.com/den or just go to woodus.com and
click on Dragon's Den. It is easily the most comprehensive webpage for
the Dragon Warrior and Dragon Quest series in existance, so again, a big
thank you goes out to him!]
