----Intro-----
Hi,
My name is paz662. For all of you golden sun fans out
there, I feel that
This walkthrough is right up your ally. First off Crossbone
Isle is a
sidequest
That dose not need to be done, your life might even be a
little better
With out doing it, but for those who want to take the
challenge here is the
Who, what, where and how of Crossbone Isle.
***********************************************************-
----Where it is---------
Crossbone Isle can be found in the Suhalla Desert. When you
go to get the
Fire
Djinni Flash. You will notice a cave behind him. Go into
that cave and you
Will see a pink tornado. Instead of casting douse on it
wait a few seconds
You will be taken to Crossbone Isle.
***********************************************************-
---Prepare for fun-----
Before you go in to Crossbone Isle go to the Venus
Lighthouse and get the
carry
Stone you will need it for one of the rooms. Also make sure
you are LV 27+.
Outer wise the final boss will be harder then need be. Last
make sure you
Know how to get Growth you'll need that too.

***********************************************************-
---What to expect----------
You will encounter nine rooms each guarded by a boss that
gets harder and
Harder the deeper you go. In each room will be a puzzle
that you must solve
To go on. These puzzles test everything you have learned up
to this point.
At the end you'll go on to a ship and meet Deadbeard the
hardest boss in the
game

***********************************************************-
-----Last but not least-------
This is a work in progress there are bound to be mistakes so
I am looking froward to your help and suggestings. If you
find anything wrong or can not follow my instructions e-mail
me I will make changes and update this FAQ.

Use Growth on the little plant to the left and climb on up.
Keep using growth till you get to the top. At the top, go
all the way to your
Right, and if you wish use Catch to grab the Nut. You will
notice a hole in The cliff drop down here to receive a Mint.
Now climb all the way up again And fall down in the middle
to get 1 coin (worth the trip?) Climb back Up one last time
and fall down the left side. Use wril wind and enter the
Cave. This is where the fun begins. From here on you will
have to fight A sub-boss before each and every door. These
guys are a little hard, but not as hard as a boss is. A
quick tip is to keep health up and always set your Djinni so
that you can cast your strongest summons.

oom #1:
Boss: Virago & Hobgoblin - 397 exp., 1040 coins

The first room you enter is filled with
platforms. Go to your right,
Until you get to the other side of the
room. Grab the Antidote and head
Back. Jump on the platform in front of
the log. Use Move and push it
Left. Hop over to your right and grab
the Nut in the chest. Leave
The room and come back in. Don't worry
you don't have to fight the boss
again. Move the log that you moved the
first time you came in, but
this time to the right. Go over to the
left and get the 111 coins.
You see yet another log, move this one
to your right keep going up until
You receive a hard nut. Return to the
log you just moved right and move it to
your left. Move all the way around the
room until you get to the one at the
top of the room, move this one to the
middle of the platform that it Is on.
To do this you need to stand on the
left side and use move to drag it
towards you. Go back around and move
the log below it to your right. Now
move up to the path on the left side
and exit. Congress you beat room #1
Push the log in to the pit for a quick
exit and go down the steps.
***********************************************************R
oom #2:
Boss: Grisly & Succubus - 587 exp., 1543 coins

When you first enter this room you will see a chest right in
front of you. Open it to find an Elixir. After you get
that go to your right until you find a chest with 222 coins
in it. Go to your right one last time and you should find a
chest with a Lucky Pepper. Now it is time to solve this
here puzzle. Right next to the chest with the Lucky Pepper
you should see a vertical pillar. Move it to the left, then
you will find a horizontal Pillar bellow the one you just
moved. Push this one up. Ok, now go All the way down to
the bottom of the room to find another vertical Pillar.
Move it to the right. Last thing you need to do is push the
Horizontal pillar on the left side of the room up to get the
Mystery Blade. Leave this room, push the log into the pit
and go down to room #3.

oom #3

Boss:
Lich & Feindish Ghoul - 437 exp., 1418 coins

Preset: CATCH

Quick Note: In this room and some of the flowing rooms you
will need to use one or more types of Psy-engery, so I will
recommend your "Presets" for that room. These are the Psy-
engery you should set to your shortcut key(s)
***********************************************************G
o to the key that is right in front of you, use CATCH to get
it. Jump to the right side to get another key. Keep
jumping to the right side and get one more blue key. Go all
the way back to the entrance of the room. Jump along the
left side of the room, and grab the last key (or is it?)
Open all the blue doors to get these items. 333 coins,
Fairy Ring, Cookie, and a Smoke Bomb. Now there is acculy
one more key in this room (there is? Yes Come I'll Show
you), to get it you must go to your right and over to that
circle of platforms, jump on the platform that you can get
on. Use REVEAL and there you have it one red key and your
ticket out of here. Go past the now open Blue doors and
through the red door. You have now completed room #3. Push
the log in the pit and Go on to room #4.

oom 4:

Boss: Gryphon (x2) - 606 exp., 3800 coins

Preset: Halt and Cloak

In this room there are statues, and they tend to move in
your way, preventing you from getting in to any doors. Time
for "How to Get Past Relay Annoying Statues 101" First go to
your right to the first statue and get it to move to the
left or right. Cast HALT on it and mosey on through the
door. Go up grab the Sleep Bomb, and head on back down,
and go to your right. At the next statue you see use HALT
and go past it. On the statue behind it use CLOAK and walk
right on by. You should be able to get the 444 coins from
the chest now. Keep CLOAK on and head to the right. Now
that you are in the back of the room grab the Storm Gear.
Ok now head all the way back to the entrance of this room,
but this time go to your left. Equip Cloak and get close
to, but not too close to the statue, and cast Halt on it.
Retrieve the Spy-Crystal from the chest, and leave. Don't
forget to push the log into the pit and mosey on down the
steps.
***********************************************************N
OTE: From now on the bosses get harder then before. I
would recommend that you know how to summon well. Know who
can cast what to inflict the most damage. These bosses are
fast and have the abilty to attack twice in one turn. I had
a hard time with most of them and I was Lv 32. Good luck.
***********************************************************
Room 5:

Boss: Lizard King, Harridan, & Stone Soldier - 881 exp.,
1560 coins

Have the fealing that you have done this one before? You

well, that's life. First off there are 4 logs that you can
move here. I am going to tell you how do do this to get
each item in the room. This is done by moving the logs
grabing the item and moving the logs again. If you just want
to get out of here fast you can't I have this set up so you
have to get everything then leave. Mean aren't I? Before
you move any thing at all, go around to your right and grab
the 555 coins. Now step into the pit with the logs, and let
the games begin.

oom 6

Boss: Chimera (x2) - 930 exp., 1600 coins

Preset: Move, Frost and Halt

This room has a Djinni in it, I will tell you how to get it
allong with how to solve this here puzzle. When you first
enter the room you will see two blocks on your right hand
side. Move the one on the left all the way to the left,
and the one on the right to the left one space. (Confusing
yet?) Now go to your left to find a wooden box with a
chest sitting on it. Push this block all the way up, and
head back. Climb the ladders, and and slide down on the
blocks you just moved. Inside this chest is an elixir.
Keep on walking and then go down the ladder and up another
one. Move to your left to see the cute, but shy Dikinni.
When you try to walk up to it it will run.

Go up until you can't no more, then jump to your right side,
where you will find a box. Push this box up one time then to
your right twice. Use carry to place it on the wall.
Climb the ladder and go across the box to get a Lucky Medal.
(Now this is one of those leave the room and come back type
of puzzles.) So leave the room and enter again, go to the
same box as before (I wonder who resets everything?) This
time move it to the left twice and use carry to put it on
the platform. Go to your left (next to the ladders), and
push the box up and use carry to put it on a wall. Go
across it to recive a Psy-Crystal, leave the room and come
back in. Go to the same box (becoming your friend) push it
left twice and place it on the platform. Now this time push
it down (not up) and use Carry to move it to your left.
Now push it to your left and go down to the box and Carry it
one space to your left. Now jump across the box to the
outher side and grab the Wicked Mace from the chest. (once
again a cursed item use care) Go down and go to another box
.(a new friend) Push this box down two times and to your
left five times. Use carry and place it on the wall. Climb
up the ladder and go across the box to get the 777 coins.
Exit the room push the log in the pit and move on down.
*****************************************************
Room 8:

Boss: Poison Toad & Thunder Lizard - 2576 exp., 2642 coins

Preset: Frost

Go to the puddle under the scale and use frost on it. Watch
what Happens closely. Now go up the ladder and grab the
smoke bomb. Now use frost on the puddle below the dragon
statue and then hop across it to get the 888 coins. Go to
your left and head down the ladder, push the rock to the
right. Go back to the ladder, and stand on the backside of
the puddle. Use frost and jump across the ice, and get a
potion. Go to your right and slide down near the dragon
statue, leave the room, and come back in. Go to the logs,
and push the right to the right again. Now push the top log
down to receive the Cleric's ring. Leave the room, and push
the log in the pit. Then go to room 9.
*********************************************************

Room 9:

Boss: Cerebus - 3726 exp., 6400 coins

Now this one is fun, kind of like a lumberjack theme here.
This is going to be hard to explain but here it goes. Go
to your right and then to the top of the room, jump on the
log at the very top here and go left until you reach a sleep
bomb. Now go back to the start and take the first log to
the top. Then take the horizontal one to the right. Walk
down and take the horizontal one up. Now go down and take
the log in the bottom right corner to your left. You should
be able to get 999 coins. Now we have to get to the other
side. This should be fun. Go back to the right on the log
you took to the 999 coins. Go all the way to the top.
Walk across the logs, and hop down to the log below. Take
the log you are now on to the outer side. Nab the water O
Life, and head on to the next part. This is where the fun
begins. You should see three vertical logs and 3
horizontal.

First Step:
Move All the horizontal logs up

Second step:
Move the left Vertical and the Middle Vertical to your left

Third step:
Move the Top Horizontal log down and the right Vertical left

You should be able to get the Muramasa sword from the chest,
and exit the room. Push the log in the pit and go to the
ship.
********************************************************
Well the good news is the view has changed, but it is going
to be a hard fight from here on in. The ship should look
familiar. You will see a chest here. Don't go near it, it
is Mimic and it will only hurt you, you need all your HP and
all of your Psy-energy for the next fight. Before you go
anywhere on the ship, make these preparations.
Make sure every one has at least one water of life, every
one has some herbs, and you have all your Djinni ready to
use. You don't want them on stand by, because this will
give you less health. You need to keep your party's health
around 100-150 at all times. Dead Beard has the abitly to
attack twice in one turn and he uses attacks that attack the
whole party. The only advice I can give you is this, he
can't be put to sleep, and no status changes effect him.
(Except the Djinni "Vine") So when you have your
preparations ready, go up the steps of the ship. And fight
him, just keep your health up, use mostly Djinni, and
summons and he should go down. He gives you 8000 exp.,
9000 coins, and Demon Mail. When your done fight the Mimic
if you wish or just leave.
Congratulations on beating Crossbone Island.
