-----------------------------------STORY-----------------------------------

If you've ever played the board game, you know how to play Monopoly. The
object is to buy and raise properties and charge others for landing on those
spaces, basically to make everyone else go bankrupt. It's a real fun game.

------------------------------------FAQ------------------------------------

===========================================================================
Q: I have all 3 (or 2) properties of a certain color, but I can't put up
hotels, even though I have enough money. What's wrong?
===========================================================================

A: You must have 4 houses on each property before you can put hotels.

===========================================================================
Q: I have 2 houses on one property, and 1 on the others of the same color. Why
won't the game let me put a third house on the one with 2?
===========================================================================

A: You have to build evenly. I'll show an example:

OK, I have the Green properties. I have 1 house on Pennsylvania Avenue, and no
houses on Pacific Avenue and North Carolina Avenue. I want to put a 2nd house
on Pennsylvania Avenue. I can't, because the game makes me have the same
number of houses on each property before I raise them up by 1. So, I put 1
house on Pacific Avenue and 1 house on North Carolina Avenue. Now that they
are all even, I may proceed to put a 2nd house on each. It keeps going up
until you have hotels on all of them.

--------------------------------WALKTHROUGH--------------------------------

NOTE: This walkthrough isn't going to explain how to play. It just talks about
the game board, spaces, and cards.

===========================================================================
PROPERTIES
===========================================================================

The most important part of the game. You buy these, and charge other players
for landing on them. As you start to get all of the properties of a color
group (this is known as a monopoly), you can raise up houses and hotels and
drain the other people's money. I'll put down the rent/house/hotel prices, and
how much it costs to buy them.

NOTE: If a player owns ALL the lots of any Color-Group, the rent is doubled on
Unimproved Lots in that group.

This FAQ is (c)1998-2000 NickWhiz1 (NickWhiz1@aol.com)

Any parts of this relating to names or such inside the game is (c) that
company, since I'm too lazy to put them myself...

Any parts of this that was submitted or borrowed from another source (player's
guide, other FAQs, word of mouth or e-mail, etc...) is (c) of that source.

Now, some dos and don'ts:

DON'T:
-Place this fine piece of writing ON your website directly.
-Link DIRECTLY to this file (in other words, not the .txt file)
-Ask me if it's OK to put this on your website (that bugged me so bad)
-E-mail any questions about the game if it is already answered in these
hallowed words
-Anything else along these lines (stupid e-mails, threats, profanity, etc...)
-Ask me about my personal life
-Ask for a joint FAQ with me
-Sell it for any profit, unless it comes to me
-Keep e-mailing me about my incomplete FAQs

DO
-Use this the way it was intended to be used, to help you beat the game you are
using the FAQ for
-Link INDIRECTLY to this file (to the .html page, not the .txt file)
-Encourage other people to use this to help them
-Let me know of any sites with my FAQs or directly linking to them
-Make me your role model, learning to make FAQs like me.
-Worship Pokemon and tape every episode of the TV show (I'm close)
-Be patient on recieving replies. I ACTUALLY get e-mail, and quite a bit
too...
-Print out copies and give them to your friends
-Send me any new hints or codes that come along

-------------------------------IN CONCLUSION-------------------------------

My 13th FAQ, done.
