SECTION 1 - PLOT LINE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a distant corner of the galaxy, fairies lived peacefully on the planet called
Ripple Star. But then one day, a mysterious black cloud appeared and surrounded the
peaceful planet. The cloud, a sinister force known as Dark Matter, had come in search
of the fairies' secret treasure -- their shining Crystal.
The fairies look skyward as their peace is about to be shattered. The strange black
cloud approaches, spreading across the sky in an instant and Ripple Star is suddenly
engulfed by Dark Matter!
A fairy named Ribbon knew that dreadful things would come to pass if Dark Matter
gained control of the powerful Crystal. She grabbed the shining stone and escaped from
Ripple Star -- just before the planet was completely engulfed.
But as Ribbon fled, three dark clouds split from the mass of Dark Matter to chase
her through space. And when they caught up with her and attacked, the fairies' crystal
shattered into tiny shards, which dropped like falling stars onto the many planets in
the solar system.
Meanwhile, a familiar figure sits gazing at the night sky, lost in thought. Still
holding one of the Crystal Sahrds, Ribbon fell onto the planet called Pop Star, where
- perhaps by fate - she ran smack in to Kirby. After hearing her desperate plight,
Kirby resolved to help Ribbon recover all of the Crystal Shards.

SECTION 2 - CHARACTERS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 == Kirby ==
Everyone's favorite, pink hero! This creampuff has remarkable powers like being able to
eat endlessly and copy the abilities of some enemies he swallows. He's jolly normally,
but when trouble approaches, he turns into Mr. Tough to rid the evil from his happy
home and rescue his friends. You play as Kirby through most of the game.
 == Ribbon ==
Ribbon is a fairy from Ripple Star. She tried to escape with the Crystal to protect it,
but Dark Matter clouds destroyed the Crystal into tiny shards that spread across six
planets. She turns to Kirby for help, and together, they set out to find the Crystal
Shards. Her role in the game is to follow Kirby and take the Shards he finds.
 == King Dedede ==
King Dedede is Kirby's all time rival. When he is informed of the quest Kirby and his
crew have started, and how the universe could be doomed if the Shards aren't retrieved,
he turns sides and help Kirby in this adventure. In this game, Kirby will ride him and
you can control Dedede and use his hammer to break walls.
 == Waddle Dee ==
Waddle Dee is a soldier of King Dedede, but like Dedede, he joins Kirby in this
adventure to stop Dark Matter. He does alot of things in the game such as finding ways
to proceed in levels (like finding a way out of a cave). He also gives Kirby crazy
vehicles to ride on, like mine carts and sleds.
 == Adeleine ==
She is a painter with remarkable powers. Whatever she paints becomes real! She is
visiting Pop Star for new pictures when she stumbles apon a Shard. She joins Kirby in
his quest. She paints items for Kirby and paints pictures to help him solve puzzles in
finding Shards.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 3 - HOW TO PLAY
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This section gives notes on how to play Kirby 64. The game is quite simple to master,
and the controls are really quite basic.

JUMPING
Jumping is simple on the game. Press the A Button to jump. If you hold the button down,
Kirby will jump higher. Tap it for a real short jump. You can make longer jumps if
you jump while running. You can also head butt enemies from below. If an enemy is above
you, jump and hit them with your head. It takes two head butts to defeat an enemy,
though, and not all enemies can be defeated this way. Also, if you jump too high and
begin dropping back down and then hit them, the head butt won't work.

FALLING
If you fall long enough, Kirby will go into a falling pose where he starts falling
head first. When you land, you bounce and no damage is dealt. While Kirby is in
this falling pose, landing on enemies from above will hurt them, but it doesn't work
on all enemies, so be careful!

FLYING
Press the A Button while in a jump to begin flying. Press A repeatadily to keep
flying. Unlike most Kirby games, there is a limit to how long you can fly. Kirby
will begin sweating and then stop flying when the time is up, and you can't start
again until you land. While flying, press the B Button to shoot an Air Blast. It's
range is short, but it can defeat most normal enemies with one hit.

SWIMMING
When underwater, use the D-PAD to move Kirby around and press the A Button to
swim. Everything is slowed down underwater, including attacks you use underwater.
Unlike most Kirby games, you can inhale underwater using the B Button.

SLIDING
While standing, hold Down on the D-PAD and press the A Button and Kirby will do a
slide kick. If you kick an enemy, you will defeat them with one hit unlike previous
Kirby games. Sliding can also destroy Star Blocks.

DUCKING
While standing, hold Down on the D-PAD and Kirby will scrunch down to duck. It can
be used to avoid some attacks that will hit you in the upper area of your body.
It's only real use is to avoid being crushed by the falling ceilings in one of the
stages farther in the game.

PLATFORMS
Some platforms in the game are different from others. If you jump from underneath,
you can climb up through the platform. Any enemies standing on the platform when
you climb up will be defeated. While standing on the platform, press and hold
Down on the D-PAD and Kirby will drop down through it.

WALKING
Move the D-PAD Left or Right while standing to walk Kirby back and forth. Stages
usually make you go right, but you can always backtrack to collect stuff you
missed. If you tap Left or Right twice and hold the direction after the second
tap, Kirby will run. While running, you move faster and can make longer jumps.

INHALING
Press and hold the B Button to use Kirby's inhale attack. While inhaling, you
can use the D-PAD to walk back and forth slowly. You can't turn around while
inhaling, though. If Kirby inhales an enemy, you have some choices of what to
do. You can press the B Button again and Kirby will spit the enemy out. You can
do this to hit other enemies and defeat them. You can press Down on the D-PAD
and Kirby will swallow. Some enemies have special powers that you can get from
swallowing them. Or, you can press any C Button, L, or R and Kirby will pick
the enemy up above his head. Some enemies help (or harm) Kirby when he picks
one up. While holding one, press Down on the D-PAD to put the enemy back in your
mouth, press any C Button, L, or R to throw the enemy straight up, or press
the B Button to throw the enemy forward. If you inhale two enemies at the same
time, you will spit a star instead of the enemy. The star will keep going even
after it hits an enemy, it only stops when it hits walls. One more thing, if Kirby
inhales an enemy and a food icon or 1-UP icon at the same time, you will be
forced to swallow.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
If you swallow an enemy with a special power, the power icon will appear in
the lower right corner of your life bar at the bottom of the screen. Now, instead
of inhaling, press the B Button to use the special power. While you have a special
power, press any C Button, L, or R and Kirby will pick up a colored star from
his mouth. The colored star is the ability. You can throw it forward with the B
Button or straight up with any C Button, L, or R.

COMBINING POWERS
A new feature in Kirby 64 is the ability to combine powers. When Kirby picks up
his colored ability star, you can throw it at an enemy that has an ability and
it will create a combo star, which is a star with both colors. Eat this star to
get the combo ability, which is used with the B Button. There are other ways to
combine, too. One way is to swallow two enemies that have special powers at
the same time. Do this by inhaling when the enemies are close by. Another way
is to spit an enemy with a special power at an enemy with a special power. Or,
you can throw an enemy with a special power at an enemy with a special power.
Choose the way you like best and start getting power combos! A list of all of
the powers if found in Section A. Also note, if you inhale two enemies at the
same time and one (or both) of them have special powers, and you pick them
up as the star (not the power star), the star will have the tint of the special
power (example: inhaled two bomb enemies, the star will be gray). If you throw
this, it will keep going through all enemies. If there was only one enemy that
had a special power, and it hits another special power enemy, it will not
blast through but will become a combo star. If the star had two power enemies,
it will blast through. Also note that throwing a combo star will blast through
all enemies until it hits something like a wall.

CLIMBING
Kirby can climb ladders, vines, and other things on the game. Simply walk over
to hit and touch it and Kirby will grab hold. Press Up or Down on the D-PAD
to climb up and down. Press the A Button to jump off of it. If you tap Up or
Down twice and hold the direction after the second tap (as if running), Kirby
will slide down. You can also climb up ledges. If you jump onto the tip of
the ledge, Kirby will pull himself up automatically.

GETTING HIT
If Kirby touches an enemy or one of their attacks, he'll get knocked back and
lose one life icon. Kirby has six life icons, and if they all disappear, then
Kirby will pass out and lose a 1-UP icon. Now, you will have to restart somewhere
in the stage. You can refill life using food icons throughout the game, and
1-UP's can be refilled by finding the 1-UP icons. If you get hit too many times,
the ability you have will turn into the power star and fall out, so swallow it
fast before it disappears! Also, throughout the game, there are stars you can
collect. When you collect enough of them, you get a 1-UP. After being hit, you
have temporary invincibility (Kirby will flash), so use it wisely. Also, if
Kirby falls down a pit or gets crushed, he instantly loses a 1-UP.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 4 - ENEMY INFO
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you include bosses, there are about 80 enemies in the entire game! Yikes! This
section includes strategies for defeating these enemies. In the game, you can
collect Enemy Info cards in the Goal Game (see Section 8), so I list them here in
their Enemy Info card order. I will not include bosses. See Section C about information

Name - Emp
Special Power - Ice
Description - These are little penguins. When you approach them, they get scared
and run away! If you have no mercy, eat one for Ice power.

Enemy Info Card #68
Name - Magoo
Special Power - Burn
Description - These are little fireballs that jump out of lava. You can tell where
they are going to pop out because the lava will boil in their location.

Enemy Info Card #69
Name - Yariko
Special Power - None
Description - These are little indians that jump up and throw spears at you. I
don't know why, but these guys really get on my nerves!

Enemy Info Card #70
Name - Flutter
Special Power - None
Description - Some of the enemies aren't really enemies. Take this for instance,
these are the white and black butterflies that drift around in stages like the first
of Pop Star. They can't hurt you and you can't hurt them.

Enemy Info Card #71
Name - Wall Shotzo
Special Power - None
Description - These are Shotzo's that are stuck to walls. They almost always aim
at you, and instead of shooting cannonballs, they shoot plasma shots. You can't
destroy the plasma or them, and they are usually in the background.

Enemy Info Card #72
Name - Keke
Special Power - None
Description - These are the little witches on flying brooms. They are always
drifting in the background, and they can't hurt you nor you hurt them.

Enemy Info Card #73
Name - Sparky
Special Power - Spark
Description - These are the weird, green blobs that bounces around and start
electricuting things. Their electricity can deflect attacks like throwing or
spitting, so wait for them to stop.

Enemy Info Card #74
Name - Ignus
Special Power - None
Description - These are the falling rocks in the volcano and underwater stages.
They just fall and try to crush you. They come in big and small sizes. Big ones
split when they hit the ground. I recommend inhaling one and holding it above
you head so other falling ones will hit it instead of you.

Enemy Info Card #75
Name - Flora
Special Power - None
Description - These are the little flowers that float around. They don't do much.
If you hold one above your head, they'll fly upwards for a little while, but
then they will drop back down.

Enemy Info Card #76
Name - Putt
Special Power - None
Description - These little blue guys sit behind boulders and push them down hills
to try and squash you. They are rooted to the ground, so just walk over and eat!

Enemy Info Card #77
Name - Pteran
Special Power - None
Description - These are the purple pteradactyls. They fly forward, but slowly
drop. If they hit a wall, they'll turn around. If they hit the ground, they fly
back up. Pick one up and you'll fly forward but slowly drop.

Enemy Info Card #78
Name - Mumbies
Special Power - None
Description - These are the little, wrapped up eyeballs. They sit there and
can't be eaten. If you look at one, they won't move, but turning around will make
them chase you (like Boo's on Mario games).

Enemy Info Card #79
Name - Pupa
Special Power - None
Description - These are the little spiders that drop down from their string of
web. You can't eat them, but other attacks (besides the head butt) work okay on
them. If you fly through their string or use any attack on the string, they'll
drop and explode when they hit the ground.

Enemy Info Card #80
Name - Mopoo
Special Power - None
Description - These are the little white cloud balls that jump out of clouds.
That's about all they do, don't touch them.

Enemy Info Card #81
Name - Zebon
Special Power - None
Description - These are the green, smiley face blobs. They can't hurt you, they
actually help you out. Touch one and they'll fire you like a cannon. Some let
you aim which direction to fire, like the barrels on DKC games.

It's important you know the names of the enemies, because I will be using the
names to refer to them during the guide.

SECTION 5 - CODES
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like almost every Kirby game, there are some secrets within it! There are not alot,
but they are not just a few, just enough.

-- In Mini-Games mode, you start with only Easy mode for each game. If you win on
Easy mode, you get Normal. Win on Normal for Hard, and win Hard for Intense. You
have to do it separately for each game.
-- If you finish Ripple Star, you will get the Sound Check option.
-- Get all of the Shards and defeat 02 at Dark Star and you will get the Boss
Battles mode and an extra option in Theatre mode that lets you view all of
    the movies at once.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 6 - WALKTHROUGH
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, everyone. This is the main part of the guide. I will cover each stage, list the
locations of all of the shards, give boss strategies, and give stage notes. Now,
let's begin, shall we?!

When you start a new game, it will ask if you know how to use Kirby's inhale
power. If my guide above didn't help much, select NO for the same guide but with
pictures to help you out more.

 == PLANET ONE - POP STAR ==
Pop Star is a big star with rings around it. This is Kirby's home planet, and the
tutorial planet. It consists of three stages (excluding the boss). The stages are
normal, Kirby stages like meadows and forests. Every ability possible in the game
can be found in the first two stages, so come back when you need some new powers.
These are the only stages that have bosses at the end, too.

 == 1-1 MEADOW ==
Stage Notes - This stage is short and simple. The enemies are easy and the Shards
aren't hidden very well, good beginner's stage. There aren't many hazards, so don't
worry about a thing.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form N-Z
He's pretty E-Z. He just stands there. Little N-Z's will appear. Inhale them and
spit them at him three times and he's history.

Boss - Waddle Dee
Waddle Dee has been infected with Dark Matter, and you have to save him! He'll
dash at you, so simply jump over him and let him crash into the side of the screen.
His crash will create a star, so inhale it and use it for ammo.

Shard #1 - It drifts in between two Sirkibbles. Defeat them and jump up to get
it. Simple enough, right?

Shard #2 - Get the Bomb power before fighting Waddle Dee. In the river you have to
walk through right before Waddle Dee, there is a black platform on it. Throw a
bomb on it to destroy it. A Shard is inside. In this game, alot of objects are
colored meaning you have to use the ability that's color matches it.

Orange - Needle Black - Bomb Some objects have two colors, meaning
Brown - Stone Yellow - Spark you have to use the power combo matching
Red - Burn Green - Cutter the colors. Remember this, it's important
Blue - Ice in the game.

Shard #3 - Defeat Waddle Dee for the third Shard.

 == 1-2 FOREST ==
Stage Notes - The second stage is a peaceful forest. The enemies are still simple,
and you can get Ice and Stone here. You have to fight Adeleine in this stage, and
this fight takes a little longer than Waddle Dee's, so be patient.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Bouncy
A big Bouncy. It will stay on the right side of the screen and bounce up and down.
Inhale the little Bouncy's and use them for ammo. Try and shoot the Super Form
Bouncy's head, not spring.

Boss - Adeleine
Adeleine paints enemies to attack you. Most of them can be eaten. It's better to
spit them out instead since some, like Mariel, hurt you if you eat them. She
starts by sending an N-Z at you, then Bronto Burt. Despose of them with inhaling
or a power. She uses Mariel next. Ditto here. Then, she uses a Mumbies. Ditto
here. Then, she uses an unusual, blurry ball thing. I don't know, but you can
defeat it the same way. Then, she paints a blue dragon. Inhale the blocks of ice
it spits at you and use them as ammo. Then, she paints Dark Matter from KDL3.
Use the Mini-Dark's he drops as ammo, and when he makes a whoosing sound, he's
going to try and ram you, so jump. Finally, she'll run at you. Slide kick her
to defeat her in one hit.

Shard #1 - When Waddle Dee takes you across the gandala, collect the stars as
they get closer. There is a trail of stars leading downwards. Drop down near them
and they'll lead to a Shard, but quickly fly back up!

Shard #2 - Defeat the Super Form Bouncy.

Shard #3 - Defeat Adeleine.

 == 1-3 CASTLE ==
Stage Notes - The final stage takes you into King Dedede's castle. Lots of booby
traps are here, so be alert. The stage is still quite simple, so you shouldn't
have much trouble, but still be careful! :)

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - King Dedede
It's better to go to fight him when you have an ability, but oh well. He starts out
by attacking with his hammer. Avoid his swings. When he swings, it creates a star
like with Waddle Dee. Use it as ammo against him. In his second form, he floats
around and his stomache turns into a mouth and tries to eat you. Avoid it and
inhale the black balls he shoots at you and use them as ammo.

Shard #1 - Get the Cutter + Cutter ability and take it to the area with the green
platform on the ground guarding the Shard from above (the room right before the
spiral stair case room). Use the Cutter + Cutter combo to destroy the green plat-
form, then drop down and grab the Shard.

Shard #2 - Once entering the spiral stair case room, jump and fly back overhead
of the entrance to find another Shard.

Shard #3 - Defeat King Dedede.

 == 1-B WHISPY WOODS ==
Is there a Kirby game without Whispy Woods on it? Guess not. The stage is cool,
you fight on a circular path and run around Whispy Woods. He sits in the center
of the circle path. Also note, every boss in the game except for Miracle Matter
and 02 have two forms! So be ready!

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - Inhale the apples he spits at you and use them as ammo against the
Whispy Woods Jr.'s. Each one needs two hits.
FORM 2 - He'll shake a bunch of apples at you. Don't let any land on you,
then inhale one (try for 2) and use them as ammo. When his roots
shoot out, shoot them with the apples. If you inhale two apples,
         you do more damage!

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - About any ability will work, but try for a projectile. Get something
like Stone + Spark or Bomb + Cutter.
FORM 2 - Same as Form 1.

== Well, you've finished Pop Star! Got everything down? Good! On to ==

 == PLANET TWO - ROCK STAR ==
Rock Star is a big planet made of separated rocks. It consists of stages
like deserts and caves, and you even go into temples and ancient ruins! The
enemies are still about the same, and the stages are quite simple still,
so you shouldn't have trouble. Let's hope so!

 == 2-1 DESERT ==
Stage Notes - This stage is a desert, and at one point, you travel inside
of a temple. The stage is simple and quite enjoyable if you ask me. Watch
out for Gobblins near the end, and 13's will try to squash you!

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Kacti
The only hard part is getting up the hill to get to him without the little Kacti
attacking you. Once you get that part down, inhale the Kacti and spit them at
him. Pretty simple.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Once entering the temple, at the start after the Bronto Burts, you
find the 13's. Fly above the second one to find a Shard on the blue block above.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Kacti.

Shard #3 - Get the Stone + Spark ability and take it to the area after exiting
the temple. Once exiting, drop off the cliff and you should see a yellow and
brown door to the left before the Scarfy's. Use the power on it to destroy it
and reveal the third Shard.

 == 2-2 RUINS ==
Stage Notes - The stage has lots of traps in it, like falling pillars and
crushing platforms. Stay alert. You also get to ride King Dedede in this stage,
so master his skills and get ready for action!

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - None

Shard #1 - In the area with the building maze, you can see the Shard in a ditch
in between two pillars, but you need to work around. The floor will fall out from
under you at the higher area. Go through the right side of the third floor and
step in the center to make the floor fall, letting you drop to the Shard.

Shard #2 - In the dark room with the Noo's, drop down in the center of the room
to find the Shard, but fly back up before you fall down the pit.

Shard #3 - As King Dedede, climb the chains and work your way to the left side
of the chamber maze. Hammer the Galbo near the left ladder, climb up, and jump to
the right over to the Shard.

 == 2-3 CAVE ==
Stage Notes - The sandy cave has alot of swimming to do, so get used to being
underwater. The quick sand isn't much of a worry, but look out for Snippers hiding
in most of it. In the water area, skeleton logs will fall, so be careful and
don't get hit by any of them.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Fishbone
He'll sit in the center of the room. Inhale the smaller Fishbones and use them
as ammo. This fight is pretty simple.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Bring the Stone ability from any other stage. At the start, you can
see the Shard inside the dinosaur's mouth. Walk onto the dinosaur's skeleton back
and use the Stone power on the brown bone to break it. Drop down and walk left
to get inside of its mouth and get the Shard.

Shard #2 - Once entering the first quick sand hole, you have a choice of two
quick sand holes to take. Take the one on the left of the way you came in. You
have to fight Super Form Fishbone. Once finishing him, you'll drop to the back-
ground. Walk left to get the Shard, then proceed right.

Shard #3 - In the water area with the falling skeleton logs, swim to the top
and before exiting to the right, swim up. Avoid the huge log, then swim over
and nab the Shard.

 == 2-4 SPACESHIP ==
Stage Notes - Yep, you go into the heart of an alien space shuttle. The creatures
inside don't take lightly to unexpected visitors, so watch out for the unusual
traps they have set for you! The moving blocks are used to ride, but be careful
and don't let them squish you!

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Spark-I
He'll sit in the room and shoot giant balls at you. Inhale one of the Spark-I's
that appear and pick them up. Let the Spark-I shoot the Super Form Spark-I for
an easy victory, then eat the Spark-I for the Spark ability if you wish.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - After going up the elevator with Wall Shotzo's, you'll be on moving
red and yellow boards. Move upwards on them and go over the Shard in between the
two walls, then drop down and get it.

Shard #2 - Get the Bomb power before entering the space ship. After going up the
red and yellow platforms, combine the Bomb with one of the Spark-I's and get
the Bomb + Spark power. In the next room, Adeleine painted something on the wall,
but it's too dark to see. Use Bomb + Spark to turn into a light bulb and see
the three pictures. Then, in the next room, hit the switches with the pictures
of her paintings in the order she painted them.

Shard #3 - Defeat Super Form Spark-I.

 == 2-B PIX ==
Pix are three crystals, one red, one blue, and one green. The fight starts with
an elevator moving upwards. The crystals will appear and attack you.

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - The red Pix will attack you by shooting a spike out and circling around
the board. Then, the green Pix appears. They spin around with the spikes.
Finally, the blue Pix appears. They shoot a spike out and bob up and
down while rotating. Avoid all of these by flying until they stop it.
They change direction suddenly, so be alert.
FORM 2 - After avoiding them, the elevator stops. Stand on a narrow platform!
DNA samples will appear on the wider ones, and they can hurt you. As
soon as they appear, fly upwards so the Pix won't hit you when they
come out. They attack in three ways. One way is they all join together
and spin around and dash around the course. Fly over them. Inhale the
DNA samples and shoot them (without jumping) and hope you hit one.
Another way is they each circle around and shoot little plasma shots
down. They are easy to avoid. The last way is they shoot spikes out
and spin around quickly, and change direction very often. This is
annoying, just try to fly around them.

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - Start with the Stone or Stone + Stone power. This way, if they hit
you, you'll get a push back but no damage. Quickly turn back into
a rock and repeat until the elevator stops.
FORM 2 - Discard your Stone or Stone + Stone power and beat this form the
         normal way. It's much easier.

== You've completed Rock Star! Way to go! Now, on to ==

 == PLANET THREE - AQUA STAR ==
As it's name suggests, Aqua Star is the water planet. It has beaches, rivers,
oceans, caverns, and all sorts of water-related things. The enemies are
quite mean, so be careful and always have an ability handy.

 == 3-1 BEACH ==
Stage Notes - This stage is very simple enough. Not much swimming is involved,
and the enemies are tame. You get to use Zebon's in this stage. They are simple
to use, so don't get nervous.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Tick
The Tick should just sit there while smaller Ticks below you try to poke you.
Drop down and inhale them as ammo, then jump back up and shoot the giant Tick.
It can be tough sometimes.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - In the area with the Zebon's, you should be blasted into a row of
three Scarfy's. Once regaining control, drop back down to get the Shard that
you were shot right by.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Tick.

Shard #3 - Get the Ice + Bomb power combo that you can find in the cave. In the
area with the various floors with Tick's and Nruff's, drop down to the bottom
to find a black and blue platform overtop of a Zebon. Use the Ice + Bomb power
on it and drop onto the Zebon. You'll be blasted upwards into the Shard.

 == 3-2 RIVER ==
Stage Notes - This stage is basically just a river. Waddle Dee will take you
for a crazy ride in a boat down waterfalls, and you have to float down river
without one later. Watch out for Splinters that roll down the river, and be
careful around the collapsing bridges!

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Kany
This big Kany is quite simple. Climb up and take a smaller Kany with you, then
spit it out at the big one when you reach him. The exit is back down to the
right of the room.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Defeat Super Form Kany, then use the Burn + Stone power combo on
the red and brown platform guarding the Shard above where the big Kany was.

Shard #2 - When Waddle Dee takes you for the crazy boat ride, you can see
the Shard floating over the second waterfall. Jump before drifting over the
side to nab it.

Shard #3 - When you go drifting down river without a boat, the Shard is under
the final waterfall near the Flopper. Back track if you miss it.

 == 3-3 DOCK ==
Stage Notes - This stage is at the docks. You go into alot of caverns in
this stage, and do a little bit of swimming, but not at much as the next
stage, so get ready! You need Cutter alot in this stage.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Kapar
The Kapar will sit on the left side of the room. He'll throw giant blades
every now and then, so jump over them. Use the floating Bumbers as ammo.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Get the Bomb + Cutter power combo. Once entering the actual dock
where the water pushes up the boards, trying to push you into Bronto Burts,
take the last one up to the big rock tower. Drop down in. There should be
a Maximum Tomato in the right side, a Star Block in the center, and a black
and green mound of dirt on the left. Use the Bomb + Cutter on the mound to
unlock a Shard. Destroy the Star Block and stand where it was to exit.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Kapar. Stay on the right side of the room,
don't get near the left because the exit appears on the left and the Shard
appears on the right.

Shard #3 - Once jumping down the hole with the long drop into the water,
which leads to the Splinters, be sure you have the Cutter + Stone power
combo. Once dropping down, turn into Rick the Hamster and walk into the
green and brown wall. Then, use him to climb up the left wall to the Shard.

 == 3-4 OCEAN ==
Stage Notes - This is the underwater stage, where the entire stage is
swimming. Strong currents will blow Ignus at you, which can be annoying.
Floppers and Blowfish live in the water, making your trip tougher.
Gordo, Glunks, and other enemies make this a very tough stage, so good luck!
The Stone + Cutter ability comes in handy here.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Blowfish
The current pulls you around the circular room, trying to make you ram into
the Super Form Blowfish. Try to avoid this happening and inhale the Glunks
as ammo.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - In the area where you swim upwards, avoiding the Gordo and other
underwater enemies circling the platforms, at the top are Blowfish and the
Shard in the ceiling. The current will pull you to the exit, so either go to
the far left of the room and swim up to get it or use the Stone + Cutter to
become Pitch the Falcon and get it like that.

Shard #2 - In the pink cave, you will be pulled by a current. You should end
up grabbing a pole. Climb down and go to the right, and swim over to the
Shard. This one is quite simple.

Shard #3 - In the area where the current is pushing Ignus to the right, you
can see a Shard in a hole in the ground. Swim down (the current can't get
you in the hole) and nab it.

 == 3-B ACRO ==
Acro is a very tough boss if you don't have an ability handy. Still, I've
gotten a really good strategy for beating him without one. You fight
underwater, so everything is slowed down and my strategy helps ALOT!

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - He should start by swimming back and spitting objects. He can
spit three things. Gordo's, which fall down and bounce.
Fishbones, which swim forward quickly. And finally, Boneheads
which just go forward. Inhale Fishbones or Boneheads. Exhale
as soon as you get one. For some reason, this increases your
chances of hitting him for some reason. When he reaches the wall,
swim to the opposite upper corner of him (right wall, upper
left corner -- left wall, upper right corner) and stay there.
None of his attacks can hit you there. When he gets angry, he'll
just swim into the background and dive bomb into the ground.
If he doesn't get angry, he'll do a flip and crash into the
ground. Then, he'll do another flip and crash again. He can't
hit you in the corner. Everytime he crashes, he creates rocks.
Ignore trying to use them for ammo and repeat this pattern.
FORM 2 - The ground will collapse. Swim upwards into the narrow tunnel.
He'll come up under you. Inhale the Flopper, Blowfish, or
Squibby that appear in the tunnel and use them as ammo, or
use the Pedo's his spits. When he swims upwards, he's easy to
dodge. He'll swim in the background then repeat spitting.
         This form is very easy.

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - Get the Stone + Cutter power and turn into any rock critter
and just sit there. Acro will ram you and he'll get damage,
and you'll just get a pushback. Repeat until his out.
FORM 2 - Since you sink as a rock, discard the power and defeat him
         the old fashioned way.

== You're on your way! Getting closer! Now, on to ==

 == PLANET FOUR - NEO STAR ==
Neo Star is a planet of various environments. From jungles to volcanos,
there are all sorts of different traps, hazards, and enemies to deal
with. This won't be an easy trip, so be alert!

 == 4-1 JUNGLE ==
Stage Notes - The jungle has alot of Yariko's, so be careful. There
are alot of pit traps. Where the grass seems slightly different colored,
stepping on it will make it collapse. Usually, the holes are empty,
but some have spikes and one even hides a Shard! You will also go on
swinging vines and collapsing tree trunk platforms, so be careful!

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Galbo
This huge Galbo doesn't move. He stays on the right side of the screen.
Stay on the left and inhale the Yariko. When Super Form Galbo isn't
breathing fire, spit a Yariko at him.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - At the first area, after crossing the pond and the floating
stump, you should reach some tree trunks with the grass traps in
between them. There is a Shard in the trap in between the second
and the third trunks.

Shard #2 - Once entering the area with the cliff infested with Yariko,
Galbo, and Pteran, you have to climb the vines on the right side to
proceed. Instead, climb down (or drop down) to find a Shard.

Shard #3 - Cross the swinging log platforms and you should reach some
flat, round tree platforms that collapse if you stand on them. You'll
notice one has a shadow on it. Above the platform, hidden in the
trees above, is a Shard.

 == 4-2 MINES ==
Stage Notes - This stage can be difficult for first-timers, but you
get the hang of it when you return later. The difficult part is
getting Shard #3. You start with a mine-cart ride, and it's just like
the boat ride in Aqua Star Stage 2, so don't worry about it.

Mid-Stage Boss - Drops
Instead of having to fight a Super Form Drop, you fight a whole bunch
of Drops. They don't do anything, they just appear. Defeat all of
them and you are done.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - The stage begins with Kirby falling down a pit. Hang to the
left to nab a Shard, but if you miss it, fly back up and get it.

Shard #2 - During the mine cart ride, clear the third jump to land on
the upper rails. Then, when you see a hazard with the Shard over top
of it, making a too high jump will make you miss it, so make a short
jump so you land on top of the hazard to snag it.

Shard #3 - You have to bring the Stone + Bomb power combo from a
different stage and take it to the brown and black wall before the
fight with the Drops. This weapon is hard to use, so this makes this
a very difficult Shard to get. Remember to press Down once throwing
the dynamite so the explosion doesn't hurt you!

 == 4-3 CANYON ==
Stage Notes - Unlike the previous stages, canyon is quite simple to
play, and really alot of fun. Be sure not to fall down the narrow gaps
in between the rocks, or you'll fall in a pit. Floating stacks of rocks
will collapse if you stand on them.

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - None

Shard #1 - The first enemy in the stage is a Punc, which has the Needle
power, so get the Needle power and proceed until you find the orange
platform on the ground. Use Needle on it to break it, then drop down
and snag the Shard in the hole.

Shard #2 - In one area, Adeleine will paint a picture of either a
pizza, top hat, or umbrella. Then, in the next area, you have to make
a copy of it using the Star Blocks. Here's what the picture should
look like. + are where the Star Blocks should be. Don't worry,
there is already a hole in the middle.

UMBRELLA TOP HAT PIZZA If done correctly, the Shard
+ +++++ +++ will appear in the hole that
   +++        +++++      +++++          was in the middle. It's okay
+++++ +++++ +++++++ to destroy blocks to get to
 +++ +++      ++ ++     +++ +++         it when the Shard has
    +         +++++     ++++            already appeared.
    +         +++++      +++
    +        +++++++      ++

Shard #3 - After hopping up the wall with cuppyholes filled with
life replenishing food, walk over to the edge and drop down the narrow
gap where the Star floats to fall to a Shard. Fly back up!

 == 4-4 VOLCANO ==
Stage Notes - This stage can be difficult at first, but you get the
hang of it eventually. It starts with falling Ignus, so inhale one
and hold it above your head for protection. There are plenty of fire
enemies in this stage, so bringing an Ice ability is useful. The
ground will sometimes break away from the mainland to take you across
the lava like a boat.

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Once you start playing as King Dedede, you have to
hammer the pillars to proceed. Hold the B Button to charge the
hammer to let you take out bigger pillars with one swing. Smaller
ones can be destroyed with a normal swing. Some pillars have a both
bottom and top layer that can be destroyed. Search all of the layers of
each pillar, one has a Shard in the top layer.

Shard #2 - Bring the Ice power from a different stage. In the
area with a Chacha and Bobos dancing in the background, there should
be a stump in the center of the room. Use the Ice power on it to
reveal the Shard, but it's drifting over lava, so be careful.

Shard #3 - After the room where the lava chases after you from
the left, you enter a room where it rises and you have to fly upwards.
Stay on the left side and you should come across the Shard.

 == 4-B MAGMAN ==
Magman is a tough opponent (only his first form) without an ability,
so you should be ready. He uses alot of fire attacks, so be alert!

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - It's tough. He has an attack where his tentacles appear and
then tilt and hit the platform beside you, and you can't
tell if he's going to use it. All of his other attacks show
his tentacles coming from the background. Anyway, use the
Magoo's as ammo against his tentacles. When three tentacles
come rushing from the background, quickly make it to the
platform where a tentacle won't be. If one comes at a time,
they'll shoot the platforms into the fiery ceiling. They
go for each platform, so rush and avoid them. Shoot their
tentacles anytime during the attacks. If you fly on the left
side, you can avoid some attacks, but how will you hurt them?
Be careful not to touch the ceiling, it hurts you!
FORM 2 - He'll appear on the left side and chase you right. Jump across
the platforms until you reach dry land (hurray!). He has three
attacks now. When he shrinks, he'll liquify and move to
the other side. Fly over him. He'll create from Burnis (about
3). I always inhale one, shoot it at another to make a power
combo star, inhale it along with another Burnis and use it.
It does alot of damage against him. Also, be sure to jump when
attacking, you have to hit him in the middle. His other attack
is, when he sucks in air, fly to the opposite upper corner and
stay there. He'll breathe fire but you'll be safe in the corner.
The last attack is, he'll hit his head on the ceiling and tiny
rocks will drop. Try not to get hit by them and inhale one
(or many) to use as ammo.

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - Use the Stone + Spark power combo for an easy fight. The only
hard attack he has is where his tentacles appear and tilt over
and drop onto another platform. Be careful with it and blast
         his tentacles.
FORM 2 - Use the strategy from WITHOUT ABILITY FORM 2 but use your
         attack instead of inhaling.

== You're moving right along! Tired of heat? You're in luck! We're at ==

 == PLANET FIVE - SHIVER STAR ==
This is the snowy, winter fairy land that every platformer game has.
You travel on a sled with Waddle Dee, into the clouds with Zebon,
into a toy factory and even the village of enemies. Pack up your
ear-muffs, this is going to be on tough adventure!

 == 5-1 SNOWLAND ==
Stage Notes - Waddle Dee takes you for a crazy sled ride in this
stage, and it's just the same as the mine cart and boat rides, so
don't worry about doing bad. You also get to take a dip in a frozen
lake and battle frosty enemies. Are you set?

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Chilly
This huge Chilly isn't much to worry about. Use his Frigis birds
as ammo before they dive bomb you, but only shoot them at him when
he's not using his ice breath or else it won't connect.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - During the bobsled run, be sure to jump on top of the
second igloo (Waddle Dee warns you, anyway) to nab it.

Shard #2 - After defeating the Super Form Chilly, the Shard will
appear in a frozen ice block on the ceiling. Bring any Burn power
from the start of the stage and melt it free.

Shard #3 - In the frozen lake area, jump into the crack in the ice
where a Gordo floats around. Swim right through the narrow tunnels
in the wall. At the very last room underwater, the Shard sits on
the bottom right corner of the wall.

 == 5-2 CLOUDS ==
Stage Notes - You travel to the clouds for this stage, and the
classic Butter Buildings music from Kirby's Adventure for NES plays
here (I love that tune!). The enemies like Mopoo and Maw can get
annoying, but bring along a powerful power like Bomb + Cutter and
you should be fine.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Mopoo
Believe it or not, this is probably the only Super Form enemy I
had trouble with the first time around. You have to use the Propellers that
drift around as ammo, and hitting Super Form Mopoo can be hard sometimes. Be sure
not to get hit, and you should be okay.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - After you've gone across the bobbing pink, yellow, and
green cloud platforms, jump down the hole in the next cloud where the Bronto
Burt is. Walk to the left. The Shard is on the edge of the cloud.

Shard #2 - Once you start using the Zebons, you should be blasted to a Zebon where
you get to aim where to shoot. Shoot yourself to the upper left hand corner to
get the Shard, then shoot up to exit.

Shard #3 - Once defeating the Super Form Mopoo, the Shard appears inside a
yellow and orange box. Use the Spark + Needle power combo (which can be found
earlier in the stage) to destroy it. Defeating Super Form Mopoo with this
power is alot easier, as well.

 == 5-3 VILLAGE ==
Stage Notes - This stage's difficulty is mild. A bunch of enemies are after you,
but nothing Kirby can't handle, right? Start the stage out by flying over head of
the building entrance to find a sandwich.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Pupa
This Pupa isn't going to survive! Use the Bo's as ammo and stay on the far left
wall. If you are over here, Super Form Pupa won't be able to hit you.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - On the moving floors area, take the last one and fly to the upper left
corner of the room to find the Shard on the ledge.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Pupa.

Shard #3 - Adeleine will paint three food items, then you have to push the colored
switches in the next room matching the order of the food and the color of the food.
The problem is that she doesn't color the foods, and identifying them can be hard.
So, here you go.

Brown - Ice Cream Pink - Peach
Orange - Orange Yellow - Lemon
Purple - Grapes Green - Berry
Red - Cherries

Ice Cream looks like an egg in a bowl.
Orange looks like a ball with a little ball on the top and spots.
Grapes look like 3 circles with a stem.
Cherries look like 2 circles with a stem.
Peach looks like an upside down heart.
Lemon looks like an oval with two points on each side (football?).
Berry looks like 1 circle with a stem.

 == 5-4 FACTORY ==
Stage Note - Let me say that this is the hardest stage in the game, a stage
so hard that you won't want to ever play it again. It's easy until you reach the
ceilings that go up and down. At the last two, you have to run real fast because
there aren't many cubbyholes you can jump in for protections. Second is the
electrical walls that move towards you when you approach them. This is right
after the ceilings part, and if you die, you have to do both over.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Burnis
He'll fly back and forth and drop big flaming rocks. Simply inhale them and use
them as ammo. This one is real simple.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Bring the Stone + Needle power combo from a different stage and
go to the first room. Where the Shotzo's fire, move to the right into the narrow
room and you should see brown and orange X boxes behind the wall. Shoot the
Stone + Needle combo through the wall and destroy each box on each level, then
go up from under them and climb the ladder to get the Shard.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Burnis, then use the Spark + Cutter power combo
on the box guarding the Shard on the ceiling.

Shard #3 - In the room where the electricute walls go towards you, the Shard
sits on the wall on one of the upper areas. Run over and nab it, then back
track before the walls squash you.

 == 5-B HR-H & HR-E ==
HR-H is a little easier than Magman, but he is still rather tough.

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - He'll be in the background. He has alot of attacks. One, he
shoots a very faster laser across the board. Two, he swaps
with one hand. Three, he claps his hands and makes rocks.
Fourth, he shoots missiles at you. Park yourself on the left
side. Don't use the missiles for ammo. Fly until he does his
attack. The reason is, his laser usually fires closest to you
and flying helps avoid it. If you have something in your mouth,
it's hard to jump over it. When he claps, fly over his clap
and run over to his hands. Start inhaling. He'll create two
rocks. Spit them out as soon as you inhale them to hit his
hands and do damage. Repeat to beat him.
FORM 2 - He'll turn into a ship called HR-E and chase from the right.
Keep running and his claws won't get you. When he shoots a huge
rocket, you can only inhale the top and not the whole thing.
This is bad because the rest keeps going and can still hit you!
I recommend not using these as ammo. Instead, wait for him to
shoot four missiles. Fly so they go under you. If the ones that
landed closest to you didn't explode right away, drop down
(being sure not to drop on them) and use them as ammo. You have
to shoot his hull (the black, front part), so you have to jump
when attacking. When he jumps, he'll try to land on you. Try to
run away so he doesn't. Even if he lands really close to you,
he'll back up, so don't worry. Just DON'T GET BEHIND HIM!

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - Again, the Stone + Spark becomes very handy here. But, I
recommend Bomb + Cutter. Whenever he swaps or claps, just
keep throwing them at him until they hit.
FORM 2 - Stay on the far left side and throw the stars at his hull.
Avoid ALL of his attacks and you should be okay.

== Don't worry, the next planet is fairly easy. On to ==

 == PLANET SIX - RIPPLE STAR ==
I expected Ripple Star to be alot harder. Like Pop Star, it only has three stages.
The first stage is a replica of the first stage of Pop Star, the second stage
is scary but easy, and the third consists of just fighting enemies. Where's the
challenge in that? The Shards are easy to find, so here we go!

 == 6-1 PATH ==
The first stage is almost exactly the same as the first stage of Pop Star,
except for enemies and one Shard location. So, basically, Shiver Star was the
main challenge of the game.

Mid-Stage Boss - Super Form Sawyer
You fight Super Form Sawyer in the same size room as the Super-Form N-Z, and
this one moves. Park on the left side and use Bronto Burt's as ammo, or use
your ability on Sawyer when he pops out of the ground.

Boss - None

Shard #1 - It's right in between two Ghost Knights, just drifting there.
As easy as the same one on Pop Star.

Shard #2 - Defeat Super Form Sawyer.

Shard #3 - Use the Needle + Bomb power combo on the black and orange platform
in the river right before the end of the stage.

 == 6-2 CHAMBER ==
Stage Notes -The second stage has really freaky music, but the stage is very easy.
The stage has alot of swimming, but not much if you really think about it,
and the stage is very, very short. So, don't worry.

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - None

Shard #1 - Bring the Spark power from a previous stage. Once dropping down
the well at the start of the stage, use it on the yellow platform in the
water. The water makes the platform appear green, but it's yellow.

Shard #2 - In the area with water where food is visible due to the holes
in the frontground walls, swim to the left to find a Shard.

Shard #3 - Get the Cutter + Cutter power and take it to the area where
Adeleine paints you a Hyper Candy. Use the Hyper Candy to destroy the Star
Blocks, then use the Cutter + Cutter power combo on the green door that
is protecting the Shard.

 == 6-3 TOWER ==
Stage Notes - The third stage is just a slug fest against most of the enemies
in the game. Only one Shard is actually hidden, and the stage isn't difficult.
I was expected more from the last stage, but oh well.

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - None

Shard #1 - You get it from defeating all of the enemies in one of the rooms.

Shard #2 - Get the Burn + Needle power combo and use it on the red and orange
rug in the middle of one of the fighting rooms. You have to shoot the very
center of the rug.

Shard #3 - You get it from defeating all of the enemies in one of the rooms.

 == 6-B MIRACLE MATTER ==
Miracle Matter is hard only at first, but you get the hang of him really
fast. He can use any of Kirby's powers from the game (exluding power combos).
The fight is only actually long, not hard.

BEATING WITHOUT ABILITY
FORM 1 - He has seven forms, each representing a different power. When he
attacks with each form, he creates objects you can inhale. You
have to spit that object when he is in the matching form. For
example, spitting a rock at him in Burn form will do no damage.
You have to spit a fireball at him in Burn form. See?
STONE - His turns into a boulder and drops rocks at you.
Avoid them. When he runs out, he drops and rolls left and right.
SPARK - He shoots lasers out that wrap around the screen and
bounce off of him. Inhale them when the shrink down to little
balls and use them as ammo.
BURN - Avoid being on the sides, top, or bottom of him and he
won't be able to hit you. He leaves fireballs behind, don't walk
on them and use them as ammo.
ICE - He rotates around with ice blocks around him. They are easy
to avoid. Inhale them and use them as ammo.
CUTTER - He turns into a blade with two smaller blades behind
him and trails around the course. Inhale the little blades
and spit them at his FRONT.
BOMB - He shoots big bubbles out that bounce around and split.
The bubbles will explode and reveal balls in SOME of them.
Inhale the balls to use as ammo.
NEEDLE - He turns into a spike and extends his spikes out on
the course. Stay in a corner. The spikes leave thorns behind,
         use them as ammo.
He is defeated when each form is. The form is defeated when he
explodes after hitting him, then he won't use that form again.

BEATING WITH ABILITY
FORM 1 - Many people use to think that you couldn't use an ability to
defeat him, but it's wrong. You can swallow the objects he
creates to get the corresponding power, or even combine
powers! But, the power will only work on the matching power
he uses. You can't hurt him with Needle when he's in Spark
form. You can when he's in Needle form. See? Combining them
is useful as well. A Spark + Cutter can hurt both Spark
and Cutter forms. It's very useful, but you might have to
end up using the old fashioned pattern.

== You've won! What, is the game over yet? ==

 == PLANET SEVEN - DARK STAR ==
No, it's not. If you've found every single Shard in the game and then beaten
Miracle Matter, then you get a different movie sequence and a new planet
called Dark Star, located in the center of all of the other planets. This
planet is just one short stage and a fight with the real last boss of the
game. Don't worry, he's not that hard.

 == 7-1 VOID ==
Stage Notes - This is just a short stage. N-Z's inhabit it, which isn't much
of a threat. Waddle Dee will show you the way in, Adeleine will paint you a
Maximum Tomato or 1-UP Icon, and King Dedede will launch you to the boss.

Mid-Stage Boss - None

Boss - Here we go now! 02, the real final boss.
The fighting style for 02 is unique from all of the other bosses. Ribbon
will carry Kirby, and Kirby will use a Crystal Gun to shoot crystals at 02.
You can move in any direction. Notice your power icons, a ribbon and a
crystal. Cool, eh?

Now, park yourself on the right side of the screen and float to the middle
of the right side. Shoot O2's eye while making sure not to get hit by his
shots (which is pretty simple). When he gets hit enough times in the eye,
he tips over. Shoot his Halo until he disappears, then shoot his bandage
that the Halo was protecting. Now, his green tail will appear. You have two
choices here.

One, keep shooting him and not his tail. Shoot him enough times and his
wing (or both) will be shattered. Now, when you have to shoot his eye, it
doesn't matter where you are, you always connect.

Two, shoot his tail while avoiding the green gas is shoots out. This can
be simple. If you don't kill him (it's possible), he'll tip back over.
Repeat shooting his eye, then his Halo, then his tail until he's gone.
Yes, this boss is rather easy.

You've did it! You've defeated Dark Matter, you've recovered all of the
Shards, and peace is restored on Ripple Star and the universe! Give yourself
a hand! You earned it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 7 - THEATRE MODE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's where my Spoiler Warning really takes action! I explain what happens in all
of the movie sequences in the game. I basically just tell the storyline here.
If you don't want to read this part, skip it.

1 - The Dark Shadow
The fairies of Ripple Star are relaxing when the Dark Matter cloud starts engulfing
their planet. Ribbon and the queen are at the Crystal Shrine. Ribbon knows what she
has to do. She grabs the Crystal and escapes Ripple Star, but three Dark Clouds go
after her and shatter the Crystal into many Shards throughout the universe.

2 - Kirby's Quest
Kirby is star-gazing when he finds a Shard. Ribbon appears and tells Kirby about
her problem, and he agrees to help her. The two set off on the new journey.

3 - Waddle Dee?
Waddle Dee is walking and he comes across a Shard. He taps it, then picks it up
and juggles it around. A Dark Cloud is nearby him, but he doesn't see it. He turns
around and the Dark Cloud possesses him! He turns into Waddle Doo!

4 - Waddle On!
After Kirby defeated the Dark Cloud harming Waddle Dee, he turns back to
normal and decides to join Kirby and Ribbon in their quest.

5 - Art Attack
Adeleine is enjoying her vacation to Pop Star by painting some new scenery. She
feels something tap her foot and sees it's a Shard. She picks it up and looks back
at her painting, but it's a black eyeball! The eyeball is a Dark Cloud! It jumps
out and possesses her! Kirby and the crew come trotting along and find the
evil Adeleine.

6 - Adding Adeleine
Once Kirby and the crew saved Adeleine, she joins them in their quest to find
the missing Shards.

7 - Dark Dedede
King Dedede is on his roof, bored to death. He finds a Shard and picks it up.
Kirby and the crew appear and Kirby tries to take it back, but Dedede won't
let him have it. Then, the Dark Cloud possesses Dedede!

8 - A Reluctant Ally
After Kirby destroyed the Dark Cloud inside of Dedede, they retrieve the Shard
and ask Dedede to join them. He refuses. They leave. Waddle Dee says something
to him and leaves, and Dedede comes trotting along behind them.

9 - On to Rock Star
Ribbon uses the Shard from Whispy Woods to open a portal to Rock Star.

10 - Desert Desserts
The crew are walking through the desert when Adeleine notices Kirby is missing.
She looks behind her to find Kirby on the ground. He looks at the crew
and sees them as food, then passes out. The crew is then seen eating, and
Adeleine is painting them food. Ribbon opens a portal to Aqua Star, and the
crew head towards it.

11 - All Washed Up
The crew is sitting on the beach. Adeleine gets an idea -- she starts skipping
stones. Everyone decides to. Kirby picks up a stone and closes his eye,
winding up his throw. Everyone becomes scared and runs away, Kirby is about
to throw when a tidal wave hits him. He wakes up and finds the crew
leaving through a portal, and he goes behind them.

12 - Hot Waddle Dawdle
The crew are on a volcano when it begins to erupt. They start running and
Ribbon creates a portal to Shiver Star. The crew jump in it, but Waddle
Dee can't run fast enough. Kirby inhales him to get him in.

13 - Ripple Rescue
Ribbon opens up the portal to Ripple Star. She looks in and gets sad
because her home planet is nothing but a Black Cloud now. The crew jump
in and get ready to save Ripple Star!

14 - Fare...well?
The crew has defeated Miracle Matter and peace is restored on Ripple Star.
The crew get inside Dedede's star ship and head back home. Just as they
are leaving, the queen looks at the camera with an evil grin.

15 - Darkness Calls
The crew has defeated Miracle Matter and peace is restored on Ripple Star.
The Shards create the Crystal and it attacks the queen, which rids the
queen of an evil Dark Cloud that was possessing her. Ribbon sees that
Dark Matter has created it's own planet, so Kirby gets his handy dandy
(no, not notebook) star phone and calls for his Warp Star! The crew
use it to fly to Dark Star.

16 - Crystal Clear!
Dark Star begins to shake, then is explodes and Dark Matter is gone!
Back on Ripple Star, Ribbon and the queen are giving Kirby and the
crew medals for helping them. Ribbon goes over and gives Kirby a kiss on
his cheek. He starts blushing and falls down the stairs.

17 - Project K-64
This just displays the credits to the game. If you watch the credits from
the Theatre Mode, the pictures will not be in color and the pictures
will be different, like unhappy. If you watch them by beating the game,
they will be in color and sort of happier. (Example, not in color - Kirby
is trying to eat an apple -- in color - Kirby has the apple in his mouth).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 8 - MINI-GAMES GUIDE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Within Kirby 64, there are three Mario Party-style mini-games, which can be found
in Options Mode. The mini-games are fun and addictive, and you can have up to 4
players playing them (you can play against the computer, too). You can play as either
Kirby, Waddle Dee, King Dedede, or Adeleine, but they are all the same. You can get
new difficulty levels (see Section 5) to increase the challenge. It also keeps
high scores, so try and beat the high score!

100-Yard Hop
This is a fun game with the classic Gourmet Race music from Kirby's Super Star (also
Kirby's stage music from Super Smash Bros.). Press the B Button to jump one space
or the A Button to jump two spaces. You have to try and avoid obstacles (like
puddles, frogs, banana peels, and so on) by jumping different amounts of spaces.
First to the finish line wins!

Bumper Crop Bump
This is an addictive game. You are carrying a basket, trying to catch the fruit
that falls from the fruit tree. You can use the A Button against a character to switch
places with them and take the fruit they were about to catch, making the game funner.
Watch out for flashing fruits, though, they make you lose all of your fruits!

Checkerboard Chase
This one is really fun! You are all walking around on a chess-like board. Press the
A Button to send a colored trail forward of the direction you are facing. Once the
trail reaches the end, the blocks the trail went across begin falling. You have to
try and make opponents fall by knocking the blocks out from under them. It can be
really hard sometimes, but fun! If one character loses all his (or her) lives, some
blocks on the board permanetely disappear. Same for when the second character loses
all of his (or her) lives. If you attack closer to the edge, the blocks will start
to fall faster. Keep this in mind.

Goal Game
This isn't a game found in the mini-games section. You play this game at the end
of each stage. You are on a picnic blanket, and there are items on it. You are in
the left corner of the blanket. You have to try and jump to get the items. This
is sort of like a 3-D version of the Goal Game in Kirby's Dream Land 3. It starts
out with Kirby moving back and forth. Press A to stop him in the direction you
want to jump. Then, he'll bob up and down. To make a long jump, press A when he
is scrunched down. To make a short jump, press A when he is standing straight.
Making jumps in between this are a little more difficult to do. Also, during the
Goal Game, this is your only way to collect Enemy Info cards. They are the
tan cards with ?'s on them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 9 - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have a question? These are questions asked about the game alot. Here is your
place to go if you have a question.

Q - Is Adeleine male or female?
A - Female. Her gender is mistakened for male by many people when the game was
first released. There is a painter boy from KDL3 named Ado, who looks just
like her, but this is a completely different person.

Q - Do you get anything for finding all of the Enemy Info cards?
A - Only the honor of knowing you did it.

Q - How do you get 100%?
A - Find all of the Crystal Shards and defeat 02.

Q - I've heard the cartridge is pink. Is this true?
A - Nope, the cartridge is gray. But, Kirby's Tilt 'N' Tumble, that will be
released for Game Boy Color soon, is supposed to have a pink cartridge.

Q - What happens if you finish Boss Battles mode?
A - I don't know, I can't get passed Acro without getting hit about 4
times. I'm guessing more honor knowing you could pull it off.

Q - What game did the Shiver Star Stage 2 music come from? I've heard it before.
A - It first came from Kirby's Adventure for NES, and it was the Butter
Buildings theme music. It was used again in Kirby's Avalanche for SNES.

Q - Flutter and Zebon aren't enemies! What gives?
A - The Enemy Info cards consist of enemies that don't even hurt you,
and some that help you like Zebon.

Q - Why are there 9 places for bosses when there are only 7 bosses?
A - In the Enemy Info mode, there are 9 slots for bosses, but there are,
yes, only 7. It includes Whispy Woods Jr. and HR-E in them.

Q - This game was too easy! Why?
A - People overlook and judge this game and many others like it (like
Yoshi's Story) and automatically mark it as an easy child game.
The game is VERY difficult. Sure, you can finish the normal game in
a couple of days, but go dig the game out of the garbage! Have you
collected every Shard and beaten 02? Have you unlocked all of the
secrets? Have you collected all of the Enemy Info cards? Have you
gotten every Multiplayer Mode difficulty? Have you finished Boss
Battles mode? Have you tried every Power Combo? Not many people
try this because you don't get anything for doing so. But, it keeps
you entertained, right? There are alot of things in Kirby 64 that
people overlook, don't join their group.

Q - Yoshi's Story? What do you mean? It sucked!
A - Yoshi's Story was overlooked as well. Of course, the Story Mode is
just a 6 level game you can finish in a couple of hours, right?
Well, have you tried to unlock all of the stages in Trial Mode?
What about trying to collect all Melons in a stage? Get the high
score on a stage in Trial Mode? Have you even unlocked the Black
    and White Yoshi's?

Q - What is the game's Japanese name?
A - I'm pretty sure it was "Hoshi no Kirby 64", which I roughly translated
    as "Star of Kirby 64".

Q - Is there a Kirby anime?
A - Nope, but there is a Kirby manga comic. I haven't seen any in my area,
but I think they have been translated SOMEWHERE.

Q - Are there Game Shark codes for this game?
A - Yes, but I don't list them here because the game isn't THAT hard.

Q - Why was Ripple Star so easy?
A - That's what I'd like to know. It was WAY too easy.

Q - Why aren't Animal Buddies in the game?
A - Well, since there are 30 + abilities, and you get different powers when
you ride an Animal Buddy, that would be WAY too many powers, so they decided
to leave them out of this one. They kind of still are on the game, if you
use Stone + Cutter, you turn into an Animal Buddy statue will different
    abilities.

Q - What are the differences in the JP and NA versions?
A - The only real difference (besides language) is that there was no
sandwich item in the Japanese version, it was sushi.

SECTION A - POWER GUIDE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are about 30 abilities in Kirby 64, so you want to know what they
are, correct? You've come to the right place! Each power is listed here, with
information on them. Here we go!

Remember that powers have colors. I listed them earlier in the guide, but
here they are again.

Orange - Needle	Black - Bomb
Red - Burn Yellow - Spark
Blue - Ice Green - Cutter
Brown - Stone

Each power has an icon to go with the color, too. These are required to
finish the game, but I threw them in for fun.

Needle - Triangle Bomb - Bomb
Burn - Fire Spark - Lightning bolt
Ice - Snowman Cutter - Letter C
Stone - Octagon

I also rate attacks on how easily they can be used. All attacks do the
same damage (all enemies are defeated with one hit, and the attacks do
the same amount of damage on bosses) but some attacks are easier to
use than others, making them better.

Power - Ice Breath
Combination - Ice
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Hold to surround with ice breath
D-PAD - Move Kirby left and right slowly
Description -
Kirby will breathe ice breath around himself like a shield. The breath will
freeze enemies into an ice cube, which he can touch to push forward. The ice
block will slide forward and can hurt other enemies. Kirby can move with the
ice breath, but very slowly.

Power - Spiked Ball
Combination - Needle
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Turn into a spiked ball
Description -
Kirby will turn into a spiked ball temporarily. Any enemies who touch him

will go in the direction you jumped without control.

Power - Rock Armor
Combination - Stone
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Turn into a rock
D-PAD - Walk
B (after use) - Explode
Description -
Kirby will turn into a rock. He will roll if used on a hill or while moving.
You are invulnerable as a rock and will hurt enemies you touch (most).
Unlike most Kirby games, use the D-PAD to walk. You walk slowly and can't
jump or walk up hills without rolling back down. Press B to explode and
turn back to Kirby. The explosion is small, but it hurts enemies.

Power - Bomb Throw
Combination - Bomb
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Throw bomb (hold to throw farther)
Description -
Kirby will throw a bomb. If you hold the B button, he will throw it
higher and farther. If you throw the bomb and it doesn't hit anything for
a while, it will explode by itself.

Power - Thunder Shield
Combination - Spark
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Hold for a protective shield
D-PAD - Walk left and right
Description -
Hold B to be protected by an electric shield. You can have the shield as
long as you want. Unlike most Kirby games, you can press Left or Right
to walk, but the shield shrinks while moving and you move slowly.

Power - Face Cutter
Combination - Cutter
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Throw face like a boomerang
Description -
Kirby will throw his face like a boomerang. This attack is alot cruddier
than on previous Kirby games. You can only throw one boomerang at a
time. Without your face, Kirby can still move and jump, but alot of
things (like attacking and flying) can't be done until you get your
face back. The face will travel through walls.

--------------------
 == SUPER POWERS ==
--------------------

Power - Super Fireball
Combination - Burn + Burn
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Turn into a fireball and dash forward
Description -
Kirby turns into a fireball, but it is bigger and longer than the
normal Fireball. He also dashes farther, but you can't stop during the
attack with B like a normal fireball.

Power - Super Snowball
Combination - Ice + Ice
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Roll forward as a snowball
B (after use) - Explode
Description -
Kirby will roll forward as a snowball. Enemies he touches will be sucked
into the snowball and will be defeated when Kirby explodes. You can't
change direction while rolling. You explode when you press B or hit an
object like a wall. The explosion can hurt enemies.

Power - Super Spiked Ball
Combination - Needle + Needle
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Open like a swiss army knife
Description -
Like the normal Needle, but you open like a swiss army knife, poking
with a cactus, bee stinger, knife, and other stuff. Used the same way,
except for longer range.

Power - Super Rock Armor
Combination - Stone + Stone
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Turn into a BIG rock
D-PAD - Walk
B (after use) - Explode
Description -
Used the same way as a normal Stone, except you are a huge boulder.
You still roll if used while moving or on a hill. You can walk, but
no jumping. You still can't walk up hills without rolling back
down. If you explode, the explosion is bigger and hurts enemies.

Power - Super Missiles
Combination - Bomb + Bomb
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Shoot missile (hold to shoot more)
Description -
Kirby will shoot a missile out of his mouth. The missile is a
homing missile and tries to hit the nearest enemy (or object).
If you hold B, you can shoot more than one missile, but only
up to three can be shot.

Power - Super Thunder Shield
Combination - Spark + Spark
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Hold for a shield
D-PAD - Walk
Description -
Just like the normal Spark, except the shield is ALOT bigger.
If an enemy touches it, a bolt of lightning strikes them. The bolt
might hit enemies behind the enemy that touched it, even if that
enemy didn't touch the shield. You can still walk back and forth,
but it's still very slowly and the shield shrinks if you
move. It can shrink down to the size of the normal Spark!

Power - Super Face Boomerang
Combination - Cutter + Cutter
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Throw face like a boomerang
Description -
Like the normal Cutter, except the boomerang is bigger and
spiked. You still can move and jump once throwing the boomerang,
but you can't do things like attack or fly until you get your
face back. You can only throw one at a time. It travels through
walls, and since this one is bigger, it travels along the ground
and can hit objects like Star Blocks on the ground a normal
Cutter couldn't.

 == POWER COMBOS ==
--------------------

Power - Rising Steam
Combination - Burn + Ice
Rating - *
Usage -
B - Turn into an ice block and melt
Description -
This attack is probably the weakest in the game. Kirby will turn
into a block of ice, then immediately melt and throw some steam
upwards. The steam has terrible range, and it's hard to hit enemies
with this attack. Not recommended.

Power - Fire Arrow
Combination - Burn + Needle
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Hold to aim, release to fire
Description -
Kirby will turn into a bow and shoot a flaming arrow. Hold the
B button and Kirby will lean back. Release to fire. If you lean
farther back, it will go higher. You can't lean back forward,
so shoot immediately. The fire left behind will hurt enemies
that touch it. It only lasts temporarily.

Power - Volcano Blast
Combination - Burn + Stone
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Hold to shoot rocks
D-PAD - Aim
Description -
Hold B and Kirby will turn into a volcano and shoot flaming rocks
upwards. Use LEFT and RIGHT to tilt Kirby and shoot the rocks
in different directions. The rocks will not shoot all the way
across the screen, and some shoot farther than others.

Power - Flaming Head
Combination - Burn + Spark
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Hold to use
D-PAD - Move Kirby around
A - Jump
Description -
Kirby will rub a wash cloth on his head until his head is set
ablaze! Then, he runs around ramming people with his flaming
head until it goes out. You can't make him stop running, but
you can direct where he runs and jump as well. I only gave it
a 3 because it's funny to watch.

Power - Fireworks Splash
Combination - Burn + Bomb
Rating - *****
Usage -
B - Attack with fireworks
Description -
Kirby will explode like fireworks. He can only set off three,
then he has to land to start over. Each firework is bigger,
so range is better. The last one has incredible range. This
attack is very powerful and good!

Power - Fire Sword
Combination - Burn + Cutter
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Wield sword, slash sword
UP + B - Throw sword forward
Description -
Kirby will pull a flaming sword out of his mouth. He'll carry
from behind him, so enemies that touch behind him will get
hurt. You can't fly or do other things (like climb) with the
sword out. To get rid of it, press UP and Kirby will hold it
over his head. He can hit enemies from above. Now, press B and
Kirby will throw it forward. It has good range. The sword would
be better if it had better speed, it's too slow.

Power - Frost Flake
Combination - Ice + Needle
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Hold to turn into a sharp snowflake
Description -
Kirby will freeze himself and slowly grow into a sharp snowflake.
The sharp points will freeze enemies. This attack would be much
better if it moved much faster.

Power - Curling Stone
Combination - Ice + Stone
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Turn into a curling stone and dash forward
Description -
Kirby will turn into a curling stone and slide forward. He slowly
slows down until he stops and turns back into Kirby. If he hits
an enemy, it will be frozen. He will bounce off of walls. If used
during a jump or while running, you'll get more speed.

Power - Food Box
Combination - Ice + Spark
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Turn into a food box
B (after use) - Turn back
Description -
Kirby will turn into a food box (or refridgerator) and spit out
life replenishing food. The food can also hurt enemies, and so
can Kirby in this form. You can't run out of food, and this makes
really useful.

Power - Snow Bomb
Combination - Ice + Bomb
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Turn into a snowman
A - Jump
D-PAD - Move Kirby
Description -
Kirby will turn into a snowman with a bomb for a head. You can
walk around and jump. When the fuse dies or you hit an enemy,
you'll explode. The explosion doesn't hurt Kirby, but you don't
regain control until a second.

Power - Ice Skates
Combination - Ice + Cutter
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Ice skate forward
D-PAD - Change direction
B (after use) - Stop ice skating
A - Double axel kick (jump)
Description -
Kirby will start ice skating. You can change direction, but it
has a long pause to do so. You can't ram enemies, you can only
hurt them by using the double axel kick, or by jumping. It
can be tough to do. This is a hard power to use. You can stop
skating in mid-air.

Power - Power Drill
Combination - Stone + Needle
Rating - ***
Usage -
B (push) - Kirby will throw a drill forward
B (hold) - Kirby will be dragged by the drill
Description -
Kirby will wield a big drill. If you hold the button, he will
be dragged along by the drill destroying enemies in his
path. Release or tap B and he'll shoot the drill forward.
The drill will go through any obstacles, including walls.

Power - Boulder Chain
Combination - Stone + Spark
Rating - *****
Usage -
B - Shoot boulder out
B (after use) - Destroy boulder
Description -
Kirby will shoot out a boulder on an electric chain. The
boulder will travel all the way across the screen and doesn't
disappear until you press B or it comes back to you. You can
jump to make it go under you and keep using it. The explosion
increases it's range, so use it wisely. This is one of the
best powers in the game!

Power - Dynamite Blast
Combination - Stone + Bomb
Rating - *
Usage -
B - Throw dynamite
Down - Put on hard hat
Description -
Kirby will throw some sticks of dynamite forward. The explosion
defeats everything on the screen, but it can hurt you as well.
Hold down and Kirby will wield a hard hat. You can't make the
dynamite go off whenever you want, though. Hit an enemy with it
to make it automatically explode. While it's sitting there, you
can tap it to make it move forward. This attack is hard to use
since the explosion hurts you, unfortunately you have to use it
to collect a Shard in the game.

Power - Rock Critter
Combination - Stone + Cutter
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Turn into a Rock Critter
RANDOM - Controls change as a Rock Critter
B - Explode
Description -
Kirby will turn into a rock critter! A rock critter is a rock form
of his Animal Buddies from Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3. The Animal
Buddies are slower, though, so they are hard to use. But they can
defeat enemies by simply touching them. Press B to explode. The
explosion hurts enemies and turns you back to Kirby. Which Animal
Buddy you turn in to it random.

RICK THE HAMSTER - Can do endless jumps up against walls.
NAGO THE CAT - Can do a triple jump.
CHUCHU THE BLOB - Can only jump. Can't walk.
COO THE OWL - Can fly, but not endlessly.
PITCH THE FALCON - Can fly, but not endlessly. Is the fastest and can roll.
KINE THE FISH - No effect, even underwater.

Power - Lightning Rod
Combination - Needle + Spark
Rating - ***
Usage -
B - Turn into a lightning rod and shock
Description -
Kirby will turn black and his head will become pointy. Suddenly, a bolt
of lightning will strike him. Hard to use since it usually only effects
overhead enemies, but it is very powerful!

Power - Bomb Gordo
Combination - Needle + Bomb
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Turn into Gordo
D-PAD - Move around
B (after use) - Shoot spikes
Description -
Kirby will turn into a Gordo! You can move around, but you move very
slow. After a while (or when you press B) Gordo will explode and
shoot his spikes out. The spikes only go a certain distance, making
this attack rather cruddy.

Power - Bear Trap
Combination - Needle + Cutter
Rating - ****
Usage -
B - Hold to open trap, release to close
Description -
Kirby's arms will become bear trap arms! Hold the button and Kirby
can't be hurt from above or from the sides, but you can't move.
Release and Kirby will clamp down and hurt enemies from above.

Power - Bright Bulb
Combination - Spark + Bomb
Rating - **
Usage -
B - Hold to become a light bulb
Description -
Kirby will turn into a light bulb. You can defeat enemies by
simply touching them. The bulb soon shatters. The attack is only
useful in one area, where it can lighten up a darkened room.
Otherwise, it's rather useless.

Power - Light Sabre
Combination - Spark + Cutter
Rating - *****
Usage -
B - Wield light sabre, slash
Down - Put away sabre
Description -
Kirby will wield a double-sided, Darth Maul style light sabre!
It attacks much faster than the Fire Sword and can hit enemies
behind you! You can also put it away quickly by simply pressing
Down. You can't do things like fly with the sabre out.

Power - Throwing Stars
Combination - Bomb + Cutter
Rating - *****
Usage -
B - Throw star
Description -
Kirby will throw throwing stars! You can't see them as they
travel through the air, but they have unlimited range! They
can keep going. You freeze in mid-air when throwing one in a
jump, which is handy. The star will stick to the object and
soon explode. It can defeat enemies like Ghost Knight that
will shield it. A very good attack!

There are many modes in Kirby 64, here's where you get to see them!

MINI-GAMES MODE
Play the various Mario Party-style games found in Kirby.
See Section 8.

ENEMY INFO MODE
This is where you view the Enemy Info cards you find throughout your
adventure. You get the tan cards with ?'s on them in the Goal Game
that you play at the end of each stage. There are 81 in all, and they
are just pictures of the enemies in the game. It also displays the
power that enemy gives you. There are also boss cards, found the same
way. Once you get around 60 or 70 cards collected, you begin getting
repeats. You can tell if you got a repeat when you collect the card and
Kirby gets sad. You don't get anything for getting all of the cards,
but it's just a fun side-game.

BOSS BATTLES MODE
You get this by getting 100% and defeating 02. It lets you play all of the
bosses in a row without life refills or powers, and only one try. This is
ungodly hard. Never has the Boss Battles mode been as hard as this! If you
can finish it, congrulate yourself! You just wasted 5 hours beating it to
get nothing in reward. :) Also note that, eating enemies like Fishbones
and Magoos in the battles won't give you abilities, so you're out of luck!

See Section 6 (Walkthrough) for Boss Strategies.

THEATRE MODE
This lets you view the movie sequences you've seen during the game. If you
get 100% and defeat 02, you get a new option that lets you view all of the
movies in a row without breaks. See Section 7.

SETTINGS MODE
This lets you toggle between Stereo and Mono. It also lets you change your
life bar appearance.

1 Default Setting 4 Uses crayon marks
2 Uses X's and O's 5 Uses black and blue squares
3 Uses candy

You can choose which ever one you want, but I like 1.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, mainly GameFaqs for putting this Walkthrough on their site! I also thank the
people who read and enjoy the Walkthrough, it took me a while to put it together.
I know it's small, but it has everything you need to do well on the game!

I'd also like to thank Nintendo and HAL for making this game. It was a tad easy,
but it was and worth the $50! Can't wait until Kirby's Tilt 'N' Tumble!
