Part 2: 3D Movie Maker
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Released in 1995, 3D Movie Maker puts you in the Director's seat to make your own 3D
movies. You're in charge of over 60 actors and props, 12 scenes, and hundreds of
sounds and music, plus the ability to record your own.
3D Movie Maker is a very simple program to use; it takes mere minutes to learn the
tools. Young children will have hours of fun making their own movies, while
teenagers and adults can use it for school presentations, etc.
If you don't already own this wonderful program, go out and buy it now; it's only
                                     about $15.

Part 3: About The Author
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My name's David Moseley. I'm 14, and I live in the UK. I've been using 3D Movie
Maker for years, for school, for home, etc. Whenever a project is due in, I make a
movie and transfer it to video (using a VCR lead, not supplied with the program).
The program has helped to give me a better understanding of how to make movies. I
am about to start two years of Media Studies and Drama at Queen Elizabeth Upper
School. I doubt I will update this FAQ more than once, unless I receive a whole lot
of people asking me to be more specific in a certain area.

movie (instead of having to save, exit, go to Ideas Room, look at the book, load
   			       movie and continue).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: Cheat: Behind The Scenes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a secret video hidden in 3D Movie Maker that shows the team 'hard at work'.
If you have about 10 minutes of free time, and you're interested in how many people
it took to make, then sit down and enter the cheat.

1. You need to be in the Talent Book, so open it up wherever you want.
2. Now you have to type in: socrates. No full stop, all lowercase letters.
3. This will start the movie. Exiting the Talent Book will stop it, but typing the
cheat in again will start the movie from the beginning.

Just in case anybody is interested, the movie is REALLY blocky if you view it in
640x480 resolution, so if your desktop is set to something like 800x600 or higher,
run it in a window so you can see it better. Also, the audio is REALLY staticy; no
                            solution there, I'm afraid.

This walkthrough was written by David Moseley, 8/20/2000. Copyright 2000 David
Moseley. Thanks to Microsoft for making the program: You had to get something
right, I'm sure glad it was this.

Drop me a line at d.moseley@virgin.net if you have any queries. However, please
don't send me any movies you have made as I don't have the time to download and view
them. If you do send me movies you will receive no reply.
