Description
Learn to fly on a broomstick! 3V Quidditch is a special Palm port of the sports game of witches and wizards, inspired by the magic Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling.
A crazy flying mix of basketball, soccer,  pong, rugby.

Win the Quidditch Cup in Two Different Tournaments::

Please, refer to the application build-in help about more details on playing this game.
The only thing that you have to know is that you are playing using the hard keys of the handheld.
You are able to customize the keys from the Options panel.

Tips & Tricks
1. Yes, the Golden Snitch is very difficult to be catched, but this not impossible.
The only way to catch it is to free enough free air in the middle of the playing field, so it will be enticed there.
If this happens, squeeze it between you and the opponent and catch it!
2. Although it seem quit a hard work to gain 3000 points to win the Quidditch Cup in the very beginning of the game, because the average score from the first levels  is only 20-30 points per game, this is not impossible.
The final score of each game is proportional to the Number of the Level, so you will receive much more points when you reach the levels above 6. The average gain there is 300-400 points per game and even 1500-1800 if you catch the Snitch!
3. What is expecting you at the higher levels??
- very clever opponent's AI and very fast bludgers (black balls). The developer itself never succeeded to beat the computer at levels No 11 and No 12 after 300 trial games while beta-testing. If you succeed to win on these levels please drop me a line at komilev@pda3dware.com how you did this!
4. If you haven't noticed  you are able to change the default names of the players with your own! Tap on the "Options" button at the first game screen to do it.


Installation
Install , using the Install tool, provided by the PalmDesktop application on your PC/Mac. Put the handheld on the cradle and press the hotsync button there

Upgrade of an old version: Install the new version over the previous one. This will preserve your registration status and your current score.

System requirements: min. Palm OS 3.0 Now supports both color and grayscale devices!

General installation instructions for newbies:
Start your Palm Desktop application on the PC.
To install the file to your handheld, double click  on the game file,
 3vq-color.prc
to run it using Explorer, command line, or your favorite file manager. Palm Software Installation utility will prompt you with other installation options.  Then put your Palm in the cradle and press the hotsync button there. The "3V Quidd" icon will appear when you start your PDA.

Uninstall

Press Menu | Delete from the Application launcher:
1. Delete 3V Quidd application.
2. Delete PToolboxLib shared library if there are not other color games that require it


Registration

The unregistered version allows you to try the game for 14 days or 14 games.
The trial games are 9 if you upgrade an old version of 3V Quidditch.
If you want to keep it afterwards you must purchase a licensed copy to get the code that unlocks the game

Troubleshooting. Compatibility
1. I
If  you have puchased the game, but the registration code did not work:
1.1. Don't Panic.
1.2. Enter the code again. If the problem persist:
1.2 The most possible reason is that you did not enter your CORRECT Palm Hotsync username when you purchased. You may see it on the "Register screen" of the game.
Please re-send it to support@pda3dware.com EXACTLY AS YOU SEE IT. It is case-sensitive and all punctuation and spaces are important.
If you request a new reg code you MUST mention also your Software Order ID in order our support team to recognize your order as valid. If you don't, you request for a new code will be ignored without further notice.
Please allow 24-48 hours for processing your request.
II. users of ver. 1.2 only!: If the code that you have received from handango.com or palmgear.com do not work, that means that you have tried to re-install ver. 1.2. This security issue is fixed in  ver. 1.21.
Sorry, in this case you will have to wait 48-72 hours  when you purchase until your receive the reg.code No 2 from PDA3Dware.com that will unlock the game forever. You may contact support@pda3dware.com .

2. If you see the messages:
"Could not load PToolboxLib library" or "The version of PToolboxLib library is too old!"
- 3V Quidditch  will not start
This game and every other Color&Grayscale game by "PDA 3Dware.com" requires this shared library.
Do not delete it!
Install 3vq-color.prc or 3vq-gray.prc file and start it again.

3. Compatibility with other 3-rd party software
3V Quidditch is not compatible with old versions of CJKOS - a localization hack for Chinese/Japanese/Korean.
Using of CJKOS ver. 4.21 or newer resolve this issue.

4. You may not install this game directly to a memory expansion card. Please install it to the RAM first, start it once, then you can move 3VQuidd file ONLY to the expansion card to save 100 K RAM.

5. Sony Clie owners:the problem is the high resolution of the display of the Clie (320x320). With the "high resolution assistant" in the new Palm OS4.1 you can set the resolution for selected applications down to 160x160 like on the old Palms. If you do that with the 3V Quiddtch, it works without any problem!
We have feedbacks from our customers that the game causes soft reset of the hires Clie devices on the first start, BUT it works fine when you restart it. The software reset may not crash your device.

6.  Handera 330 owners should upgrade to the latest version of PTooboxLib graphics library in order to play this game. Download it from here:

Please, installl it after the 3V Quidditch been installed&started  once!
Then you must start Prefs application and select the default alignment to the "up-left corner" from the "Applications" pannel there.

7. If non of the above is valid, but the appilication didn`t start:
Disable any HackMaster or X-master  extensions and restart the game.

6. If you have other PalmOS application from other producers that require PToolboxLib library:
Please re-install the latest version of PToolboxLib library. This appllication is using old version 5.30 that will overwrite your current version. This is because we are trying to save about 30K of the RAM of those 99% of the users that don't use this library.
