==================
This section includes info on the Enhancement Capsules, Heart Tanks,
Sub-Tanks, Passwords, some Secrets, Dragon Punch, and the Weapons.

--------------------
Enhancement Capsules
--------------------
This part explains the functions and the locations of the enhancement
capsules.

X. Buster Upgrade
Location: Dinosaur Tank Stage
Requirements: Air Dash Upgrade
Upgrade's Function: Allows you to charge up the X. Buster farther to
fire double shots and also let's you charge up the weapons of bosses.

Soon after the beginning of the stage, there is a ledge that you can
reach with the Air Dash. Dash to the ledge and wall kick your way up the
wall. Up there you'll find the capsule.

Armor Upgrade
Location: Robot Junkyard Stage
Requirements: S. Wheel
Upgrade's Function: Allows you to take in certain damage to power up the
G. Crush. When the meter is at maximum, you can unleash a large
explosion.

Once you reach the first room with the machine that changes the gravity,
shoot the S. Wheel at the end of the 2nd ledge. If you find the right
spot, the weapon will dig a hole down. Dig the whole way down to find
the enhancement.

Helmet Upgrade
Location: Energen Crystal Stage
Requirements: -
Upgrade's Function: Allows you to detect hidden passages.

Soon after you fight the mid-boss, there is a large hole. Go down the
left side of it to find a hidden path. Go through the path to find the
capsule.

Air Dash Upgrade
Location: Desert Base Stage
Requirements: S. Wheel
Upgrade's Function: Allows you to dash in mid-air one time.

Right after the Heart Tank, there are some blue blocks near a ledge. Use
the S. Wheel to destroy the blocks and get the enhancement.

-----------
Heart Tanks
-----------
This part tells you where you can find the Heart Tanks.

Dinosaur Tank Stage
Requirements: X. Buster Upgrade, S. Burner

Right after you need to leave the Robot Attack Armor, there is a small
wall of spikes and a Heart Tank above. Charge up the S. Burner and use
it to dash to get on top of the ledge.

Deep-Sea Base Stage
Requirements: X. Buster Upgrade, S. Burner

When the robot fish opens the gate (Not the one he comes out of), climb
up the right wall. Once you are on the ledge, charge up S. Burner and
dash over to the right. Then you can see the missile-like platform
things. If you can dash at the right time, you will be able to jump kick
up the side of the platform to reach the Heart Tank.

Volcanic Zone Stage
Requirements: - (The X. Buster Upgrade helps, though)

This one is located in the area where the volcano erupts and you must
escape. When you reach the machine that blocks your way, use any weapon
to quickly destroy it and grab the Heart Tank.

Robot Junkyard Stage
Requirements: Crystal H.

At the beginning of the stage, use Crystal H. on the first robot that
throws the spiked discs at you. Then hop on top of him, and jump kick up
the wall. You'll find a 1-Up and the Heart Tank up there.

Central Computer Stage
Requirements: X. Buster Upgrade, S. Burner or just Air Dash

Once you get past the first section motion detectors, there is one of
the robot gun turrets stuck near an opening in the ceiling. If you just
have Air Dash, it will be possible to reach it, but it'll be difficult.
For other way, charge up S. Burner, and use it to reach the turret. Then
jump kick up the opening to get the Heart Tank.

Energen Crystal Stage
Requirements: S. Chain or -

This one is the more difficult one to get. Once you find the Robot
Attack Armor, go down the hole you past a bit earlier and get on the
ledge. This can be done in one of two ways. Dash with the unit and use
the jets to stay up a little longer, and use the S. Chain to hook on the
ledge at the far left. Or you can use the drill attack (Hold Y), and
jump and use the jets. Then jump out and land on the ledge.

Desert Base Stage
Requirements: -

Once you are in the desert with the motorbike, there is a ramp that
leads to a large hole. Shoot down the poles to make it a ramp. Go back
and get the bike, and when you reach the ramp right before the hole,
press and hold A while on the ramp. If you time it right you will jump
the hole. While in the building, hold A so you won't destroy the bike.
Then you'll be able to get over the spikes to the Heart Tank.

Weather Control Stage
Requirements: -

Right at the beginning of the stage, climb up the left wall to find the
Heart Tank in a hidden section.

---------
Sub-Tanks
---------
This part tells you where you can find the Sub-Tanks.

Deep-Sea Base Stage
Requirements: X. Buster Upgrade & Bubble S.

Once the fish robot opens the gate underwater (Not when he first
appears), keep going until you see a Large Energy Capsule in the ground.
Get on top of that ground, and charge up Bubble S. When you jump up, you
can see a Sub-Tank. To get it, press B rapidly when you are on the
water's surface. Then you should be able to get it.

Volcanic Zone Stage
Requirements: -

Right at the beginning of the stage, there is a beetle-like robot that
charges at you. Hop on top of the little platform on it, and it will
take you up to a hidden ledge. There you'll find the Sub-Tank.

Central Computer Stage
Requirements: X. Buster Upgrade, S. Burner, Air Dash

This one can be found soon after the Heart Tank. After you get past the
part with all of the blocks, there will be just one block hanging from
the ceiling. Charge up S. Burner; hop on the block when it falls, and
then dash in the air to reach another opening. If you let the block fall
in the hole, don't worry because you can still get the Sub-Tank, but it
will be a bit more difficult.

Weather Control Stage
Requirements: - (Air Dash helps)

Once you reach the area with those missile-like platforms, use them to
jump kick up the wall where the weather ball is located. Then keep going
across to the right, and the Sub-Tank will be there.

Secrets
-------
Weather Ball Fun:
In the Weather Control Stage, you can find some Weather Balls around. If
you use certain weapons on them, the weather changes for a limited time!
Here's what can happen:

Use Crystal H. - Makes the ball yellow and creates fog.
Use Bubble S. - Makes the ball blue and causes rain.
Use S. Burner - Makes the ball red and causes a hazy look.

Hidden Areas:
In two Stages, there are hidden areas where you can earn some free
items. In the Energen Crystal Stage near the end, climb up the ladder
into the room. Charge up Silk S. and Large Weapon Capsules will come at
you! In the Deep-Sea Base right by the gate where the robotic fish opens
(Not the one he comes out of), there is a hidden passage on the left
wall. Go in there and charge up Silk S. This time, you can get Large
Energy Capsules! Very useful when you need to fill up your Sub-Tanks!

------------
Dragon Punch
------------
To get this awesome move, you first collect ALL Heart Tanks, Sub-Tanks,
and Enhancements! Then you must reach the 3rd X-Hunter Stage (Which is
Agile's Stage). Work your way through the level until you reach the
section where there are two ladders, one goes up and the other one goes
down. Lure one of the nearby Bats over to the ladders, and use Crystal
H. on him to freeze him. Jump on top of the crystal platform and climb
up the ladder. Destroy the enemy robot when you
climb up, and start to charge up the S. Burner. Use the Air Dash to
maneuver along the wall ledges, and then use the charged S. Burner to
move through the spikes. Once past that, charge up the S. Burner again.
Then Air Dash across the spikes, and use the S. Burner to get across the
spikes. Continue on, and search the left wall for a hidden passage. In
there you'll find an Enhancement Capsule (If you have everything) which
contains the Dragon Punch. Remember that a Password will not save the
Dragon Punch power-up! I don't remember how to perform the move since I
haven't played the game in a while.

-------
Weapons
-------
Here's a list of weapons and their functions.

X. Buster - Your basic weapon, and it has unlimited energy. When
charged, it fires a more powerful blast.

Crystal H. - Fires a blob of ice. Can freeze some enemies. When charged,
it slows down time for a limited time.

Bubble S. - Fires a line of bubbles. When charged, it creates a shield
of bubbles, which can make you jump higher in water.

Silk S. - Fires a piece of junk. It splits into four smaller pieces when
it hits something. When charged, it creates a larger piece of junk and
also "pulls" hidden items.

S. Wheel - Fires a wheel with spikes which can destroy certain blocks.
When charged, it creates a large wheel that shoots out eight lasers.

S. Slicer - Fires a line of blades that bounce off walls. When charged,
it shoots blades all over the screen.

S. Chain - Fires a small chain that can hook onto walls. When charges,
it fires a larger chain that hooks better.

Magnet M. - Fire a small mine that can be controlled in the Up or Down
directions with the Control Pad. When charged, it fire a mine that looks
like a black hole that can cause a good bit of damage (It can also be
controlled Up or Down.

S. Burner - Fire two fireballs. When charged, it creates a "fire shield"
that causes you to dash far.

G. Crush - Increase the weapon meter by getting hit by long-range
attacks like lasers, missiles, etc. When used, it creates a huge
explosion that causes a good bit of damage.

I. Tracer - When used, it can detect hidden passages.

3) BOSS STRATEGIES
===================
This section contains strategies for the bosses.

-------------
Random Stages
-------------
NOTE: Since you can fight these Bosses at nearly anytime you want, your
weapon arsenal may vary, so there isn't any "Weakness" part to put up.

Boss - Serges:
Zero Part Received: No. 1

This guy is pretty tough. When the pod he operates puts its shield on,
weapons won't effect him, and so as soon as they disappear...shoot him.
When you hit him, he'll jump into the air and shoot these green rings at
you. That is also a good time to hit him. He also lays mines on the
floor, so watch your moves.

Boss - Violen:
Zero Part Received: No. 2

This boss uses a huge spike ball that bounces around the room. When he
jumps into the air, he'll shoot yellow balls at which are not much of a
problem. Since his spike ball bounces around the room, you might be able
to predict where it'll go next. Also, watch where you shoot because if
it hits the spike ball, the shot will vanish.

Boss - Agile
Zero Part Received: No. 3

When the battle begins, jump kick up the side of the wall, and Agile
will create a "sword beam." Dodge it by going on the ground. If you stay
on the ground when he does that, you won't be able to dodge the beam!
Keep jump kicking against the wall and attack him right after he uses
the sword beam. Then he'll dash across to the other side while slashing
with his sword. Just Air Dash to the other side and repeat the process
until he's defeated.

-----------
Intro Stage
-----------
Boss - Giant Robot

The easiest boss in the game! He just jumps around and swings his spike
ball arms. Four fully charged X. Buster attacks will defeat him.

-------------------
Dinosaur Tank Stage
-------------------
Boss - Wheel Gator
Weakness: S. Chain
Weapon Received: S. Wheel

When the battle starts, Wheel Gator will go under the "lava". Now Jump
Kick up the side of the wall, and when he launches a spike wheel at you,
jump around it and get back up the wall. If you stay close to the
ground, he'll grab you and start to damage you. Once he comes out, he
will do a couple of things. He can launch those spiked wheels from his
back which are very easy to dodge. He can get into a drill position and
make some spikes on the side of the wall. Sometimes he starts to flash
and will start to shoot green spheres at you. And he can go back under
and start to launch more wheels at you. Use charged up X. Buster shots
to beat him.

-------------------
Deep-Sea Base Stage
-------------------
Boss - Bubble Crab
Weakness: S. Wheel
Weapon Received: Bubble S.

When Bubble Crab encases himself in a bubble shield, use S. Wheel to
destroy it. If you try to jump over him, he forms these antler-like
things on him. While he's in the air or water when doing that, use the
S. Wheel so he lands on it. Keep using the weapon until he's done for.

-------------------
Volcanic Zone Stage
-------------------
Boss - Flame Stage
Weakness: Bubble S.
Weapon Received: S. Burner

When the battle begins, he'll jump kick up the wall and come back down.
When he comes down, shoot him with Bubble S. Then he throws two fire
punches at you. Dodge them and shoot him again, and he'll repeat the
same thing again. Keep doing this for an easy win.

--------------------
Robot Junkyard Stage
--------------------
Boss - Morph Moth
Weakness: S. Burner
Weapon Received: Silk S.

When the battle starts, use S. Burner on the magnet bug. It will swing
side to side, launching junk at you. When it starts to launch the stuff
at you in rotation direction, jump kick up the walls and use Air Dash to
dodge them. Once you damage it enough, Morph Moth will come and shower
dust on you. Since his energy meter is pretty low, he won't be difficult
to dispose of.

----------------------
Central Computer Stage
----------------------
Boss - Magna Centipede
Weakness: Silk S.
Weapon Received: Magnet M.

If you use Silk S. on him at the beginning, he will lose his tail, which
will make him stop using some of his abilities. Then he'll start to
teleport around the room. Remember that Silk S. splits into four smaller
pieces, so doing that will make him an easy target. When he stops
teleporting, he'll launch some magnetic stars at you, which are somewhat
hard to evade.

---------------------
Energen Crystal Stage
---------------------
Boss - Crystal Snail
Weakness: Magnet M.
Weapon Received: Crystal H.

When you use Magnet M. on Crystal Snail, he'll be launched from his
shell and hit the wall which also causes some damage. Then when he gets
back into his shell, he'll slow down time. After he does that, he comes
out of the shell. Launch the Magnet M. and use Up or Down on the Control
Pad to make hitting him easier.

-----------------
Desert Base Stage
-----------------
Boss - Overdrive Ostrich
Weakness: Crystal H.
Weapon Received: S. Slicer

With Crystal H., this guy is easy! Hit him with it, and then he'll jump
into the air and launch blades from the air. When he is in the air, hit
him with the weapon before he has a chance to attack. If you can hit
before he a chance, you won't have to worry about being that much.

---------------------
Weather Control Stage
---------------------
Boss - Wire Sponge
Weakness: S. Slicer
Weapon Received: S. Chain

When Wire Sponge uses a vine as a shield, use S. Slicer to cut through
it. Once he uses a vine to hang from the ceiling, he launches sprouts
that make a spiked plant. One shot from the X. Buster will destroy it.
When he takes a certain amount of damage, he starts to turn red, and
fires large lightning bolts across the screen. Once you defeat him (If
you used S. Slicer), he splits in half!

-----------------
X-Hunter Stage #1
-----------------
Boss - Violen
Weakness: Bubble S.

Similar to the fight for Zero's Part, but this time he creates platforms
that he or you can use. When you have the chance, use Bubble S. on him.
A Sub-Tank will come in handy here.

-----------------
X-Hunter Stage #2
-----------------
Boss - Serges
Weakness: Silk S. (1st Form), S. Slicer (2nd Form)

This fight is very different from his other one. This time he operates a
machine with four large cannons...each one fires something different.
Don't very about the cannons because Silk S. can take down with about
three hits! Once all of the cannons are gone, the front part of the
machine disappears. Now he fires green spheres at you that can split
into four smaller ones. Their directions alternate with each shot. This
time, use S. Slicer, but using it will make it harder to hit him. If you
find it too difficult, stick to Silk S. or use Magnet M. since you can
move it and if you hit his pod, it still damages him!

-----------------
X-Hunter Stage #3
-----------------
Boss - Agile
Weakness: Magnet M.

This fight is also different from the other one. This time around, Agile
operates a spaceship. When he forms the spiked platforms, electric
sparks go around the room, and he drops the platforms. To avoid them,
try to stay the under the spaceship. Sometimes missiles fly across the
room and a larger bomb appears. Just shoot it to destroy it. Since
Magnet M. is controllable, hitting him won't be hard at all!

-----------------
X-Hunter Stage #5
-----------------
NOTE: You only fight the evil version of Zero if you did not collect all
three Zero parts.

Boss - Evil Zero
Weakness: S. Burner

This "Zero" has abilities just like the real one! He is very quick
performing his moves, so make sure you bring along filled Sub-Tanks. If
you charge up the X. Buster, remember that when you get hit, your
"power" is gone. When it's gone, the charged shot is gone, but if you
charged it up FULLY, you'll just have the 2nd shot to fire. The same
thing works for Zero, fire a single shot, and his powered up attacks
will be gone. For an easy defeat, jump kick up the wall and shoot him
when he's done doing the 3-attack combo. Then when he creates an
"earthquake", use Air Dash to avoid it. He can block most of your
weapons, so use S. Burner and X. Buster shots.

Boss - Sigma
Weakness: X. Buster, S. Slicer

It looks like Sigma is trying to imitate Wolverine! He launches electric
sparks at which are very tough to avoid. When he teleports, he'll try to
land where you are, so keep moving! When flashes yellow, he fires a wall
of electricity (It's the same attack when you charge up E. Spark in Mega
Man X). Use fully charged X. Buster shots or attack him with the S.
Slicer.

Boss - Sigma Hologram
Weakness: S. Chain

This guy can be tough, but knowing his pattern will help a lot. He can
launch capsules at you, which turn into enemies. Shoot them for Energy
and Weapon Capsules! He can fire a large red laser, can be easily
avoided if you Air Dash over him. As you damage him, he'll change his
color, which indicates that he's closer to death, and he also starts to
speed up. Once he turns red, he will start to teleport around the room.
If you get stuck inside of him, just start to jump, dash, etc. to break
free. You can also damage him while you get stuck in him. If you run out
of S. Chain energy, use charged X. Buster attacks.
