General Information
===================

Sea Battle is a two-player game only. The objective is to invade your
opponent's base with your ships. In this section you'll find the main rules
and some other information you need to know.

Rules of Ships
--------------

1) You can have up to 4 deployed ships at a time. There is also a limit to the
amount of every kind of ship you can deploy in one game (see the Ship Listing
section for details).

2) You must use an Aircraft Carrier or Troop Transport if possible to be able
to invade your enemy's base.

3) If a ship on one team comes close enough to a ship on another team, a siren
will go off. Either player may press "Enlarge" at that time to go into combat
mode. If one person decides they want to fight, the other does not really have
a choice but to try to retreat after the battle has begun.

Some Other Information You Need to Know
---------------------------------------

1) The Two Modes: Main and Combat
In the main mode, the mode in which the game is started and the one that you
usually spend most time in, you move your ships around, plant mines with mine
layers, etc. In combat mode, which you can only play in if two ships from
different teams come close enough together and a player presses enlarge, you
actually get the opportunity to kill your opponent's ship. See the Ship
Listing section for a little more elaboration on this.

____
Tips
----

* Surround your base with three ships and explore with only one at a time. Be
careful with what ships you use and when you use them.

* Look at what your opponent's ships every once and awhile and try to remember
what ship is what by looking at them while fighting in combat mode. If you see
a ship stopping in a spot for a few seconds, see it move to a new spot, stop
there for a few seconds, and so on, they may be laying mines. As you may have
figured out, observing is a major key to getting good at Sea Battle.

Jeff "CJayC" Veasey: For posting this FAQ on his site, www.gamefaqs.com

Before emailing me, please look through this.

1. Please make your email readable! A few errors or a bit of
"internet-lingo" is fine, but you can count on me simply deleting your
email if I can't figure out at all what you're trying to say.

2. Put the name of this game in the subject or title of the email. If
you don't do this, I might delete your email before opening it thinking
that it was something else!

3. Don't send me stuff that isn't related to this game! That means
spam, chain letters, downloadable files (even if they're files about
the game; I don't want them), etc.

4. It's great if you want to contribute to this FAQ, but please don't
send me information about incomplete parts of this guide unless I say
that I want somebody to do so. Otherwise, you can correct problems,
errors, etc. in the information I already have listed.

5. If you would like to use this FAQ on your site, you need my
permission, so please email me first asking it. Keep in mind, though,
that I will most likely not be willing to send the file to your site
every time I update it. You will need to check www.gamefaqs.com for
the latest version and update the FAQ your site when and how I update
it on GameFAQs.

That's it. You can email me at alxs123@aol.com, as stated in the top
of the FAQ.

Well, that's about it for this FAQ. I've had fun making it, and I hope
it helped you out. Thanks for reading!
