1. Introduction

  This is a really interesting game in my opinion. " The forever man ", don't
you just feel sorry for that guy? Well anyway, it's a beat'em up for a couple
of reasons. One, it has some pretty cool looking enemies, not to mention the
guy himself. Plus, it has a story line that just makes you want to beat the
game that much more.
  You will journey through the levels trying to help Chakan the forever man
find eternal peace. He is the forever man, because while he was human, he
though he was invincible. He challenged death to a duel and won. Now, sadly, he
must walk eternally after death cheated and took his sole.

2. Controls

BEFORE PLAY:

Start Button -
* Brings up the skill levels on the title screen.
* Starts the game when a skill level is showing.

D-Pad -
* Up or down selects the skill level at the main menu.

Buttons 1 or 2 -
* Starts the game from the title screen when a skill level is showing.

DURING PLAY:

Start Button -
* Brings up the alchemy screen.
* Closes the alchemy screen with no changes.
* Returns to the navigation of the ship of death.

D-Pad -
* Move left or right
* Up lets you go into the numeral portals
* Down - Duck or crouch
* Aims your attack when the 1 button is held.
* Moves the alchemy screen hand.

Button 1 -
* Attacks in the direction Chakan is facing.
* Activates your selected weapon or alchemy.

Button 2 -
* Jump
* Returns to the navigation of the ship of death.

CHAKAN'S MOVES
**************
Roll - D-pad down diagonally + 2.

Spin Attack - Button 1

Jump Spin - Press button 2 twice.

3. Item List

Twin swords - Very fast and razor sharp.

Fire swords - Good against cold world enemies, little effect on hot.

Ice swords - just the opposite of the fire swords.

Lighting Swords - throws out bolts of lightning.

4. Alchemies

Alchemies are potions and magic objects collected to help Chakan's forever long
journey.

Copia - Summons death to return you to the ship of death.

Thresher - Kills or damages all on screen enemies.

Timer - Slows down enemies.

Arrow block - Useful for those who know the dark secrets.

OO - Shields you from all injury.

Eye - makes you invisible.

Sword - Imparts double damage to your current weapon.

Skull - heals Chakan of all injuries.

Bonus Tips -

* Go through one portal at a time.

* Don't skip portals - you'll forget where you have been.

* Always have out your strongest weapon.

* Never waster alchemys, use only when really needed.

* Always watch when you are falling down a portal.
