This battle is fairly tough. Make sure each party member is equipped
with Broadswords. Make sure you do not attack it when its wings are not
extended! If you do attack it in this position, it cats a powerful
counterattack called Iron Nail which attacks the entire party!

Siren is the first boss you will face that has two forms. One of his

first form normally. When it turns into the undead form, have the whitr

The biggest problem with this boss is the fact that she has a specail

First things first. Garula likes to use physical attacks. Therefore, I

This will weaken Garula's attacks considerably. Then have a Monk or

This is an optional boss and you can beat Shiva at any time after Karnak

Iron Claw

HP: 3000
MP: ????
LEVEL: 20
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Karnak Castle

First off, if you want to beat this guy easily, have a berserker cleave
him, he'll die in one hit. But if you want to do it the hard way, keep
on attacking him. At first he looks like a sergeant but soon he turns
into a true form. Learning "Death Claw" from this boss may help you down

IFRIT
-----
HP: 3000
MP: ????
LEVEL: 22
WEAKNESS: Ice
FOUND: Library of Ancients

Beating Ifrit means that you can now summon him. To beat him, have four
summoners in your party, and have them cast Shiva over and over again.
Pretty much any ice based attack, from the ice rod to Shiva, will beat
him quickly. He's not too tough at all. Id advise using Shiva for the
battle though.

-------
BIBLOS
-------
HP: 3600
MP: ????
LEVEL: 24
WEAKNESS: Fire
FOUND: Library of Ancients

If you got "Death Claw" from Iron Claw earlier you can use it here. If
not, then use fire magic, not any other magic. Fire magic works best
against Biblos. If you have Fire 2, use it. If you have a ninja with the
Fire Skill, use it. Use anything fire related, cure when necessary, and
win.

Ramuh is found in the eastern forest, east of Easterly Village. Keep on
wandering around in the forest until you find him. You do not have to beat him,
but I advise you do since is a good summon magic. Also, since he is pretty tough
at lower levels, I advise you wait until you are at a decent level before you
fight him. To beat him, either use the death claw spell, or make a party of all
ninjas and have them throw Shuriken at Ramuh. Also, casting mute or silence on
him helps.

--------
SANDWORM
--------
HP: 3000
MP: ????
LEVEL 18
WEAKNESS: WATER
FOUND: Sand Tides Desert

Sandworm is a pretty easy boss once you figure out how to beat him. Basically,
there are three holes, and Sandworm pops out of one of them every once in a
while. Attack Sandworm with ice magic, and don't attack the holes directly, and
you will do fine. Shiva and Ice 2 work best but any attacks are effective in
killing the boss.

----------
CLAY CLAW
----------
HP: 2000
MP: ????
LEVEL 43
WEAKNESS: BOLT
FOUND: Tower of Ruin

Clay Claw is a pretty easy boss, at least he was when I fought him. Using any
sort of Lightning spell, from Ramuh to Bolt 2, seems to be pretty effective.
Also, I tried a cool thing my friend told me: throw shuriken at Clay Claw. It
will die after only a few hits. Also, it has a dangerous attack known as "Tail
Screw". This attack is pretty dangerous and you should heal with Cure 2
immedietly after getting hit by "Tail Screw", because it would probably kill you
with the next hit.

----------
ADAMANTAIM
----------
HP: 2000
MP: ????
LEVEL 20
WEAKNESS: ICE
FOUND: Tycoon Meteor

First off, this boss only uses physical attacks. Therefore, I suggest using
Protest Magic to soften the boss's attacks and the damage it would inflict on
your party. The boss is also weak againt ice attacks, so use any ice attacks to
quickly wear it down. Also, if you have "Lv 5 Death" use it to quickly kill the
boss.

--------
BOSS GUN
--------
HP: 22500
MP: ?????
LEVEL 36
WEAKNESS: BOLT
FOUND: Outside of the Ruins of Ronka

First off, this guy uses a nasty attack called "Missiles" which, when inflicted,
party members will quickly lose power. Cast esna on the inflicted party member
as soon as possible after they get hit, or they will die. This boss is weak
against bolt. I advise casting Level 5 Death on the Launchers then casting Ramuh
or Bolt 2 till it dies.

----------
ARCHEOAVIS
----------
HP: 6400
    2500

MP: ????
    ????

LEVEL: 19
       20

WEAKNESS: Special
          Special

Found: Ruins of Ronka

There are two different Archeoavis. The first form is kind of difficult, your
best bet would be using three monks and have them beat the living daylights out
of it. Or, have a white mage scan the boss and have the other members attack its
weakness (since the boss changes weaknesses constantly). On its second form, it
is strong against magic, so I advise just casting "Level 5 Death" on it since it
is a level 20 boss.

-----
TITAN
-----
HP: 2500
MP: ????
LEVEL 1
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Karnak Meteor

There are two effective ways to beat this pretty easy boss. First, you can cast
float on your party, nullifying Titan's attacks. Or, you can head to Crescent
Island and fight Crescents until you steal or earn the Death Sickle. This
beserker weapon will kill off Titan with a single hit. Either way, Titan is
easy.

----------
BYUROBOLOS
----------
HP: 2200
MP: ????
LEVEL 22
WEAKNESSES: N/A
FOUND: Walz Meteor

I really did not like this battle at all. Why? Because if you kill one, it will
cast Arise. So basically, you have to kill all six at the same time. This battle
will probably last a while for that very reason. Casting silence on them helps a
lot.

---------
KIMABRAIN
---------
HP: 3300
MP: ????
LEVEL 19
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Gorn Meteor

Do not even try to cast Ice or Fire Magic on this boss, KimaBrain, because it
will not be effective. Using "death Claw" on the beast is a much better
solution. Shruiken, like usual, helps a lot. Just attack it and cure when it
does "Blaze" and you'll be fine.

--------
ABDUCTOR
--------
HP: 1500
MP: ????
LEVEL 22
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Solitary Island

This guy is so friggin easy. I killed him in two hits. If you can't beat him,
please remove the game, put it in the cd case, then staple it to your lack of
brains.

---------
GILGAMESH
---------
HP: ????
MP: ????
LEVEL ????
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: X-Death's Prison

For this fight, you only have Galuf in your party, no body else. Therefore, the
battle should be tough, right? Well, not really. All Gigamesh uses is physical
attacks, just use your best attacks on Gilgamesh and he'll run away like the
wuss that he is.

----------
GILGAMESH
----------
HP: ????
MP: ????
LEVEL: ????
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Big Bridge

This guy likes to cast protective spells to protect himself. Do you know what I
say to that? The Rock says this: cast "Silence" on him so he can never put up
those protective spells. Then cast "Slow" on him to give your white mages time
to heal injured party members.

----------
TYRASAURUS
----------
HP: 5000
MP: ????
LEVEL 29
WEAKNESS: FIRE/CURE
FOUND: Underground River

Hint: Use a Phoenix Down. Just one of those suckas will kill this dude. If for
some reason you do not have a phoenix down, or you want to do it the hard way
(sucka), the Rock says this: use holy attacks like cure and life to harm it. It
won't stay undead for long.

-----------
ABDUCTOR***
-----------
HP: 1500
MP: ????
LEVEL 22
WEAKNESS: ANYTHING
FOUND: Val Castle

***this guy only appears if you were so sucky that you couldn't beat him the
first time.

Just whack him a few times then call it a day.

-----------
DRGN GRASS
-----------
HP: 12000
MP: ?????
LEVEL 29
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Valley of Dragons

Kill off the sprouts around the Drgn Grass before they shoot pollen at you. Cure
the effects of this attack with Esna. Fire skills are excellent for the little
sprouts, while Demi and Shruiken can take out the main form. Another way of
defeating it is casting the Golem summon to be protected from the pollen, then
defeating it as described.

---------------------
GILGAMESH AND ENKIDOH
---------------------
HP: ????
    4000

MP: ????
    ????

LEVEL: ????
       29

WEAKNESS: N/A
          N/A

FOUND: Zeza's Fleet

If you have a Berserker equipped with the Death Sickle, you can kill this dude
with a single hit and not even have to worry about Enkidoh! If not, then this
boss will be tough. Summon Golem to protect yourself from the basic attacks.
This does help a lot and could mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Killing Endikoh is easy, just use "Demi" and then a few shruikens. Try to steal
a genji glove if you can.

------
ATOMOS
------
HP: 19997
MP: ?????
LEVEL 47
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Barrier Tower

Again, throwing Shruiken at the boss is very effective. It seems to have become
a theme, eh? ^_^ This boss is pretty tough though. Basically, this guy will kill
one of your party members with Comet. If you try to resurrect that member, he'll
cast Comet again. So, you're basically fighting with 3 guys. Make sure to heal
constantly while attacking with summon magic like Shiva, Ramuh, and also
physical attacks.

-----
SHOAT
-----
HP: 5000
MP: ????
LEVEL 38
WEAKNESSES: N/A
FOUND: Somewhere

Use a dancer and its Sword Dance attack. If you don't feel like doing that, just
attack this boss normally and you will eventually kill it. When it cast the
"Devil Eye's" Attack, a party member will be turned to stone so stock up on
Softs before looking for this beast. When you beat Shoat, you get to use its
summon magic.

-------------
TREE SEGMENTS
-------------
HP: 7777
MP: ????
LEVEL 77
WEAKNESSES: SPECIAL
FOUND: Elderly Tree

I say just use Titan right off the bat. Why? Because when you do that, the three
lower segments are defeated. With them gone, you can then use Ifrit to kill the
remaining one. If you do it the regular way, be warned that each segment has a
different weakness.

---------
CARBUNCLE
---------
HP: 15000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 44
WEAKNESS: STONE
FOUND: X-death's Castle

First off, you should know that this boss is always in a state of reflection.
Therefore, any and all magic attacks will bounce off him and be reflected back
onto you. So, do not cast any magic on it. Use physical attacks on it and you'll
be fine. Also, casting Shoat on it instantly kills Carbuncle. You get summon
magic after this fight.

-----------------
GILGAMESH (AGAIN)
-----------------
HP: ?????
MP: ?????
LEVEL: ??
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: X-Death's castle

He's back! Try stealing gengi helmets from him since this is the only time that
you can get the gengi helmets. Just keep on using Shruiken and you will be fine.
Pretty easy.

-------
X-DEATH
-------
HP: 32768
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 66
WEAKNESS: HOLY
FOUND: X-Death's Castle

The final boss is shown for the first time, and guess what, you have to fight
him! Considering the circumstances, the battle is pretty easy. The easiest way
to defeat X-Death is to cast Carbuncle and Golem then throw Shruiken at him.
Also, make sure you have a white mage as well as a summoner in your party, and
you'll do fine.

--------
ANTOLYON
--------
HP: ?????
MP: ?????
LEVEL ??
WEAKNESS ??
FOUND: Death Valley

You only get two characters in the battle, so it will be tough. Since you only
have two characters at this point, your choices are extremely important. I would
advise having a white mage with a summoning skill plus a knight for this battle.
Have the knight contsantly attack while having your white mage heal or summon.
Good luck!

---------
MELLUSION
---------
HP: 20000
MP: ?????
LEVEL 29-33
WEAKNESS: SPECIAL
FOUND: Elderly Tree

Well, this boss decides to change its weakness a lot. Therefore, have someone
with the ability to scan before the battle. Have this person scan while the
other members exploit the weakness. The boss could get hard if you don't have
someone with a scan ability, so make you have a person with scan ability before
entering the battle!

------
STOKER
------
HP: 20000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 7
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Island Shrine

Only one of the four forms is the real boss. Casting a spell that hits all four
of them will cause Stoker to counter with some nasty spells of his own! Instead,
attack each part in turn until you find the real boss. Shruiken can put this guy
away. Just make sure you're throwing at the correct image or it is a total
waste.

----------
MINITAURUS
----------
HP: 19850
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 37
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Fork Tower (Power)

You can not use magic in this battle, so just attack Minitaurus with various
physical attacks and he will succumb. If you throw Magi Shruikens at him he will
die extremely fast.

----------
OMNISCIENT
----------
HP: 16999
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 53
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Fork Tower (Magic)

Well, you cannot use physical attacks in this battle because you're in the Magic
section of the Fork Tower. If you try to use a physical attack the battle starts
over. I would only use them if you're getting walloped during the fight, because
if you are getting killed badly you can restart with all your stats intact.
Summon Carbuncle to block off his magic and he really has no way of defeating
you.

----
GOGO
----
HP: ?????
MP: ?????
LEVEL: ??
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Sunken Tower of Walz

Do you remember Gogo from Final Fantasy 6? Remember how he mimics everything you
do? Well, he does the same here. So just wait and wait until he gives you the
Mime skill. That's it. Do not attack him, just wait. Make sure you don't have a
berserker in your party.

FOUND: Sea Trench

Each of these guys has a unique weakness. Learn who is sensitive to what, and
then let them have it. Magi Shruiken are effective in killing them off quickly.
Since two of the three are considered undead, make a part of bards and sing
Requiem until two of them are gone. The third one can then be attacked
mericlessly until defeated.

-------
BAHAMUT
-------
HP: 40000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 99
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Outside

This guy, just like in any other Final Fantasy game he's in, is pretty dang
difficult to beat. Make sure to have a lancer in your party and have him keep
jumping at all times. Also, using powerful spells slowly weaken Bahamut's power.
Still it will be one tough battle. Beating him earns you his summon magic and it
is powerful.

---------
LEVIATHAN
---------
HP: 40000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 39
WEAKNESS: BOLT
FOUND: Castle

Keep on casting Lightning! Since Leviathan is a water based creature, lightning
spells affect him severly. If you want to earn this summon monster the easy way,
load your team up with Black mages and Ninjas. Use the Mages to zap him with
electricity while having the Ninas throw Magi Shruikens. He won't last too long,
I hope ^_^.

-----------
WOODSPRITE
-----------
HP: 18000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 68
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Cleft Dimension Forest

This little sucker is pretty tough if you don't stay on guard. Casting silence
first helps, I would also call Bahamut and make it a quick fight. If you don't
have Bahamut, use other summoned monsters while using physical attacks as well
(although they won't hit at full strength the physical attacks will work
somewhat)

-----
OMEGA
-----
HP: 55530
MP: ?????
LEVEL 119
WEAKNESS: BOLT
FOUND: Cleft Dimension

(this is an optional boss... you do not have to win this fight in order to beat
the game)

This guy is hard. If you have the guts to face him, just blast him with various
lightning stuff.

----------
APPREHENDR
----------
HP: 22200
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 59
WEAKNESS: FIRE
FOUND: Cleft Dimension Dungeon

Use fire. Since this guy is a book, he'll burn easy. Do not, and I repeat, do
not, use Ifrit and its summon magic because it will heal Apprehendr. Flare works
well, too.

----------
CATASTROPH
----------
HP: 19997
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 71
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Cleft Dimension Castle

This boss is tough, as it can cast "Earthshaker" over and over to kill off your
entire party. Have lancers capable of jumping out of harms way, and a white mage
to keep your hit points high. Also, casting float on a member of your party and
the boss will cast "Demi100". If your party is floating it is immune to his
attacks.

---------
HALYCANOS
---------
HP: 33333
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 97
WEAKNESS: N/A
FOUND: Cleft Dimension Castle

I spent half this battle as frogs because the dang boss kept on turning me into
them. Make sure to have lots of Maiden Kisses to counter the effect of the frog
status. To avoid this annoying attack of her turning you into frogs, cast
Berserk on her. Then cast spells like Sorcerer Flare and Bahamut to knock her
senseless.

----------
TWIN TANIA
----------
HP: 50000
MP: ?????
LEVEL: 39
WEAKNESS: WATER/HOLY
FOUND: Cleft Dimension Castle

Summon Leviathan, and cast Holy on the swords of your sorcerers. Make sure your
Sorcerers can attack multiple times for an extra boost. Make sure a party member
has the healing ability because some of Twin Tania's attacks are strong and can
easily knock the party out. When Twin Tania is powering up, summon Odin to
finish it off.

-----------
NECROPHOBE

Gilgamesh also pops up in this battle. Try to steal some genji armor from him.
Gilgamesh will appear if you do not kill Necrophobe right away. Necrophobe has a
barrier protecting him, so try to neutralize it as soon as you possibly can.
Difficult battle.

FINAL BOSS! Strategy from Expert gamer

There are several ways to lay the smack down on X-Death. Casting "Haste2" on
your party to be able to get more attacks in is smart. Using a sorcerer with the
multi hit Flare attack will do you well. Casting Esna at all times will help,
because this boss can cause multiple afflictions at will. Also, casting any of
the strong attacks, like Holy, Flare, or Meteor will help to weaken it as well
(summoning Bahamut isn't a bad idea either). The second form (Neo X-Death) is
made up of several sections, which means you'll need some heavy hitting action
to put him away for good. What do we recommend? If you've got a lot of money to
spare (and you should), throw up a Samurai (preferably mastered) and three mimes
with beefed up HP. Have the Samurai use !$Toss and then duplicate the attacks
with all three mimes. You'll be whooping X-Death butt in no time at all
whatsoever.

Thanks to expert gamer for that strategy. Good luck in beating the final boss in
the game!

This is a Boss Guide for Final Fantasy V, so please so not email thousands
