and mini-bosses of Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby Super Star! Thanks
again to Skainter for this info!

Version 2.5: I added a decent amount of information today!
First, I added info on the levels and bosses of Kirby's Pinball Land! I
also added info on the mini-bosses in Kirby's Dream Land 2. All this is
thanks to Skainter!

Dream Land part of this guide, thanks to Skainter!

Kirby Super Star that I haven't added already. Those abilities are the Crash,
Cook, and Mike abilities. I also added an ability list for Kirby's Adventure, as
well as ranking info for the same game (see that section for details).

Version 2.3: Some more information has been added,
particularly in the Kirby's Dream Land and Block Ball sections. There's
an Item List in KDL and a Block Types section in KBB.

Version 2.25: I added some more info to the guide, including
a couple more sections to the Kirby's Block Ball section since while I

added Game Shark Codes sections under the Game Boy games I can find
them for.

Adventure part, thanks to Dave and Laurie Jones (jones5@blazenetme.net).

Version 1.95: I added the mini-games section to the Kirby's
Adventure part of this guide. I also added info on defeating an enemy
in Kirby's Dream Land 3; check out the credits part of this guide to
find out what I did.

Version 1.9: I added an Enemy List for the Kirby's Dream Land
3 section of this guide thanks to NTsui (segaholic2@yahoo.com).

Version 1.8: I added the list of what the effects do when
combined with each friend in the Kirby's Dream Land 2 section just like
I said!

Version 1.75: I added something new in the Kirby's Dream Land
3 section of this guide. I made a list of what the effects of each
ability are when used with each friend! Look for the same thing to be
added to the Kirby's Dream Land 2 section soon.

Version 1.7: I added the Story section to most of the Kirby
games below. The next update will include more stuff, so watch out!

Version 1.6: Pretty decent sized update! I added a bunch of
stuff here and there (like Controller Configurations, Game Genie Codes,
etc.). I also added the rest of the Milky Way Wishes "guide", and I
added another game to the Kirby Guide (Kirby's Dream Course)!
Unfortunately, I could only get Game Genie codes for this game, so if
anyone out there that can give me more info on that particular game, e-
mail me and I'll give you credit for it!

Version 1.5: A whole bunch of stuff has been added, mainly in
the Kirby Super Star section! It's not completely finished yet, but you
can still go check it out! Look for it to be finished sometime soon.

Version 1.4: In the Kirby Super Star section, I added the
location of the 2nd secret area in the DynaBlade game. Look for another
BIG update on this guide (particularly the KSS Milky Way Wishes
section) coming sometime soon!

Version 1.3: ALL NEW! I finally got around to working on this
guide for once! I had to completely redo the ENTIRE guide because my
computer had problems, so that's why it took forever to update this!
For those who have been waiting for this: sorry for the delay. This
version has a walkthrough for Kirby's Adventure like everyone
requested!

    A1: Controller Configuration

Start: pauses game, explains the ability you currently have,
and brings up ability list in MWW
Y: inhale and spit out, use an ability you've acquired, shoot
air puffs (while flying), and use water gun underwater
X: change ability during play in MWW, and see your acquired

B: jump (press twice to fly), slide (press while holding
Down), swim upward (only in the water)
Up: enter doors, climb up ladders, and open treasure chests
in GCO
Left and Right: walk (press twice to run)
A: create helper with your current ability, cancel your
helper (only if it's next to you)
          R: guard

    A2: Spring Breeze
        Difficulty Rating: 1

That awful King DeDeDe is at it again. He's stolen all the
food in Dream Land! The inhabitants don't like being hungry and have
asked Kirby to help. The new adventure begins.

This game is similar to the original Kirby's Dream Land for
GB, but with a few differences. You can use abilities, create helpers,
and you can just get a plain feel of the game here! There are 4 levels,
each with both new and old enemies. The bosses here include Wispy
Woods, Kracko, LoLoLo and LaLaLa, and King DeDeDe, which are VERY easy
to defeat.

    A3: DynaBlade
        Difficulty Rating: 3

A strange bird, named DynaBlade, has come from the mountain
and ruined the crops! Unless Kirby can stop him, Dream Land will be
devastated!

This is a level to level area, like Spring Breeze was, but it
has 5 levels, and 2 hidden areas with goodies! One feature about this
game is when you reach the level's end; you can try and shoot yourself
out of a cannon to get extra points and lives. Here, I'll give
instructions on how to reach the 2 hidden areas, where you can pick
from a bunch of abilities to use and recover your health. You access
them both by finding switches in the levels.

Level 2: when you reach the 2nd room, climb up the ladder and
get the Mirror ability. Then, use it to hit the bomb block surrounded
by plain blocks. Blow up the blocks and enter the room to find the 1st
switch.

Level 4: in the 5th room, instead of going left to continue
with the stage, go left and enter the door and push the switch.

    A4: Gourmet Race
        Difficulty Rating: N/A

A large fruit orchard is filled with food. Kirby heard about
the orchard and journeyed there, but King DeDeDe was waiting for him.
Now all Kirby has to do is win the Gourmet Race. Piece of cake, right?

In this game, you race against King DeDeDe through all sorts
of terrain, trying to eat the most food and finish 1st in each round.
At the end of round 3, the player with the higher total wins the race!

    A5: Great Cave Offensive
        Difficulty Rating: 4

While on a picnic, Kirby fell into a huge cave. Rumor has it
that this cave is full of treasures! Can Kirby find all of the
treasures and make it out of the dangerous cave alive? We shall see.

In this game, you're in an underground cave searching for 60
Treasures. The more treasures you get, the more money (points) you get.
Remember, there's also enemies blocking safe access throughout the
cave, so be ready for battle at any time. I have prepared a walkthrough
for this game from a previous FAQ I have made and had put on GameFAQs:

From the start of the level, go right and take the Gold
Medal. Then, move right and destroy the stone statue. Go in the door
and take the Gold Coin. Then walk right. You should see 3 bomb blocks.
Only destroy the left and the right blocks, NOT the middle. Now you can
collect the Whip. In the next room, get through the `maze' of switches
to collect the Crystal Ball. Next, go to the water area. Swim to the
blocks and break them and move up to get the Lucky Cat. Go to the next
room. Destroy the statue on the platform above you to get access to the
Seiryu Sword. Go right and destroy the bomb block. From there, go down
and right to the Screwball. Fly up to the gray blocks in the ceiling.
Destroy the statue sticking out of the ceiling and break the blocks to
receive Echigo Candy. Save your game in the room below if needed. Move
right to 2 blocks. Break them, then break the stone statue. Go down the
path starting under the Save Point and collect the Zebra Mask. Go to
the next room and defeat the hammer enemy. Then, make your way to the
upper left corner of the area and get the Star Stone. Now, go to the
lower right corner of the same area to get the Beast's Fang. Go to the
next room. In the middle of the room, destroy ALL the bomb blocks to
receive the Bandana. Take the Cutter ability and cut down the hanging
platform to the right. Go down with it and go right to get springtime.
In the next room, take the Sword ability and make a Blade Knight
helper, then go fight the fish in the next room. Take the mine cart
ride to the next area. Once there, go straight down to the bottom of
the sea to collect the Dime. Break the blocks underneath it and get the
Glass Slippers. Go to the next room and save your game if you want.
Enter the door to the left of the Save Point. Hit the nearby switch to
get to the Goblet. Go down a bit further to another switch. Push it and
quickly take the Saucepan. Move left and take the Crash ability and use
it to push the switch on the other side of the wall to get the Brass
Knuckle. Hit the next switch you see and swim up the waterfall. Along
the way, to the left is the Amber Rose, so be sure to grab it! Destroy
the bomb block to the right and enter the door there. Take the Fish
Fossil and the Beast Fossil in the little room there. Return to the
waterfall and go to the top and move right. Fight the Poppy Bros. To
get the Nunchuks. Go back to the Save Point from before. Go into the
door underneath it. Follow the path by going up and following the path
until you reach a block. Break it and swim up to get the Bucket.
Continue going up and on platforms to avoid the spikes. Break the
blocks blocking one of the platforms to get summertime. Go down to the
water and go with the currents to get the 100-Dollar Coin. Enter the
door and save your game if necessary. Now, go through the right door.
Hit the nearby switch to get the Ancient Gem above you. Go down and to
the right and break the blocks to get the Falcon Helmet. Keep on going
right and get the Dud. From there, keep moving right then go down. Make
your way past the spikes to get the Truth Mirror. Go up and enter the
door. Fight the RPG Battle and then go to the next area via mine cart.
Go to the lower right corner, enter the room and save your game. Enter
the door to the left of the Save Point. High above you is a door. Enter
it and take the Star Tiara. Now go to the bottom right corner door.
Keep going through the rooms until you reach a bomb block. Destroy it
and go down. Avoid the cannon fire and get the Unicorn's Horn. Go in
the next room and defeat the hammer enemy to receive Autumntime. With
your Hammer ability, retrace your steps 3 rooms and this time; go to
the far-left door. Pound the stake and go down the elevator and enter
the following room. Take the Fire ability and go in the upper door.
Beat the enemies there and take the Turtle Shell. Go to the next room
and turn your power into a Fire helper and break the bomb block. Have
your helper light the underwater fuse. Jump in the cannon and when you
land, get the Sword Treasure. Now, exit the room through the bottom
door. Swim against the currents here and get the Warrior Shield (this
may take a few tries because it is VERY tricky to get.) Go back up the
elevator and go back to the Save Point to save your game. Go to the
door you entered earlier and enter the door ABOVE it. Go left and
through the door. Go up and enter the very first door you see. Go right
and get Mr. Saturn. Keep going up for a bit, then follow the left wall
and take the Armor. Now enter the door in the middle of the area and
get the Treasure Box. From there, go up to the top of the room and go
in the left door. Quickly take the Mannequin to the left before you get
crushed like a pancake! Then, go to the right door. Keep going and go
in the first door you see. Use your Hammer or take the Wing ability to
defeat the Chameleon. In the next room, go through the left door. Hit
the switch and quickly make your way to the door that was opened to
collect the Model Ship. Go in the door on top of the area. Fall down
and enter the door at the bottom. Now, enter the right door. Light the
candles with the Fire ability so you can see a hidden door about half
way up the tower. Go in and get the Sun Ring. Like the other tower,
take the door at the top of the room. Fall again, then enter the door
at the bottom. Now, go to the top and enter the middle door. Save your
game when you land. Enter the door above the other one again. Go right
this time. Break the bomb block and get Tut's Mask. Keep going to the
next room. Use the Yo-yo ability to get the Rice Bowl. Keep going
through a couple of rooms and defeat the hammer enemy to take its
ability. Then, in the next room, get a Sir Kibble helper. Now go to the
Save Point again. Go in the door above the one you just exited. Go left
to the next room. There, get to the top of the room and go in the right
door. Get in the water section of that room and use your hammer to
break the blocks there. Go in the next room and enter the door straight
above you. Make it through that room and enter the next one. Use your
Cutter ability to drop the platform and use the Hammer to pound the
stake. Enter the door and get the King's Cape. From that spot, go back
approximately 3 rooms. Get the Stone ability and use it to break the
bomb block there and sink to the bottom of the water to collect the
Gold Crown. Enter the door at the VERY bottom of the room. When you hit
the ground, enter the door at the far-left corner of the area. Take the
mine cart ride there, and hit the switch in the next room. Go in the
hole in the wall you just made and get Wintertime. Go in the next room
and take the Jet ability. Fly against the wind gusts and fall to get
the Katana. Save your game in the next room and after that, enter the
bottom left door. About halfway through that area, there should be a
bridge with a waterfall. Squat down above the waterfall and get the
Charm. Go left and light the middle fuse with your Jet ability, then
jump in the middle cannon. Destroy all the bomb blocks there EXCEPT the
bottom one to be able to collect the X-mas Tree. Now, leave that room
and go to the left. Destroy the bomb block under the ground. Now move
right and push the right fuse box and jump in the left cannon. When you
land, enter the door underneath the Wing ability and get Kong's Barrel.
Go up, and fly through the clouds leading to another door. Go in and
collect Ramia's Scale. Next, leave that room and go through the clouds
above and to the left of the Wing ability. Fall through the clouds
underneath the Plasma ability and go in the door to get the Shiny
Bamboo. Now, you should be underneath the door surrounded by clouds.
Move left and go down and to the right to the door near the Parasol
ability. Go in and get the Spirit Charm. Retrace your steps back to the
area where the Plasma ability is. There should be a wall engulfed by
the clouds to the left of it. Get behind the left side of the wall and
fly up. Go in the door and take the Wheel ability and create a helper.
Quickly hit the switch and reach the other side of the room to get the
Tire. Now, leave the room and find the Warp Star. Take it out of the
clouds and save your game when you land. Enter the right door and move
all the way to the right and then down to reach the Pegasus Wing. Enter
the next room and defeat the huge bug creature to gain access to the
Raccoon Doll. In the next room, destroy the bomb block and get the
Shell Whistle. Move left and get the Crash ability. Use it to hit the
switch on the other side of the wall to get the Orihalcon. Take the
Warp Star back to the Save Point and save your game. Now, enter the
middle door. Get the Cutter ability and cut down the far-left platform.
Fall down with it and drop through the small floor nearby to the right.
Walk to the right to get the Platinum Ring. Get through the next room
and make your way to the VERY bottom of that room to get the Triforce.
In the next room, defeat the enemy and take the mine cart and the
elevators to the end!

A6: Revenge of the Meta Knight
        Difficulty: 4

One of Kirby's old foes, Meta Knight, has built a giant ship
and is planning to conquer Dream Land! It's up to Kirby to destroy the
ship, defeat Meta Knight, and save Dream Land. Good luck, Kirby!

This game takes place aboard the flying ship, Halberd. You
travel all around the ship, defeating enemies like Heavy Lobster. At
the end, have a "sword fight" with Meta Knight! Then, race against time
to get off the ship before it sinks into the water.

    A7: Milky Way Wishes
        Difficulty: 5

The sun and moon had a huge argument! Because of this, the
days and nights in Dream Land are mixed up! It's up to Kirby to solve
this dilemma and restore order to Dream Land.

In this game, the sun and moon are fighting and you must find
Nova to stop it. Travel across the galaxy through 7 planets and get the
Deluxe Abilities scattered around them. Here, I've provided a quick
reference list showing where the 19 Deluxe Abilities are hidden.

          {Floria} - Ice, Fighter, Cutter
{Aqualiss} - Parasol, Beam, and Sword
{Skyhigh} - Jet, Wheel, and Wing
          {Star above Skyhigh} - Copy
          {Hotbeat} - Fire and Suplex
{Cavios} - Bomb, Hammer, and Stone
          {Mecheye} - Yo-yo and Plasma
          {Halfmoon} - Mirror and Ninja

Due to requests I've received lately on this subject, I chose
to add detailed instructions on getting through each of the planets, as
well as finding ALL the abilities within them, too!

        Planet 1: Floria

From the start of this level, enter the door atop the ladder
to the right, and go through that door until you arrive in the winter
section. Then, go left and enter the room and take the Deluxe Ice
ability. Exit the room and go back to the door on the ladder and
reenter it until you reach the autumn section, then head right until
you reach another door. Enter it and reenter that door until you reach
the summer scene and enter the door directly below the one you just
came through. Take the Deluxe Fighter ability, then leave the room and
reenter the room above the one you just exited until you reach the
winter scene again. Go right and destroy the ice "wall" and then
continue past and enter the second door you come across, then reenter
it until you end up in the summer section again. Next, go left and
enter the door in the tree trunk and take the Deluxe Cutter ability and
leave the room. Head all the way to the right and enter the last door
that you see to get into the autumn scene. From there, go right and
enter the sparkling door to reach the bosses: the Twin Whispy Woods! I
advise you use the Ice ability to defeat them here because I find that
to be the quickest way to defeat them; after they're done for, touch
the star to leave the planet!

        Planet 2: Aqualiss

From the start of the level, enter the door to your right,
then start swimming to the right until you reach the wall. Swim up to
the surface and once you land, head right past the Cutter enemy. Keep
heading right and you'll come across 3 bomb blocks with a couple
enemies next to them. Destroy the middle bomb block, then drop into the
water via the hole you just made in the platform. Swim to the right and
destroy the wall with the bomb block attached to it. Continue to go
right until you can go up and surface again. Once you've surfaced, go
right and drop into the water again after you pass the small island.
Destroy the bomb block in the water to make a door appear on the island
above you. Swim back up and jump onto the island; enter the door and
take the Deluxe Parasol ability. Exit the room and continue right until
you reach another door. Enter the door, then head right until you reach
another piece of land. Jump onto the land, head right, and then drop
into the water again and swim down and left until you reach more dry
land. Continue right, then head up and enter the door. In the next
room, head down and enter the door on the bottom platform. Then, head
right until you reach a bunch of cracked blocks; take the Parasol
ability and drill down through the blocks until you reach the bottom,
then head left. Float above the two sets of spikes below, then continue
left until the Fighter enemy appears. Defeat him and take the Deluxe
Sword ability, then head right and up, then left again and exit the
room. Head right, then down and enter the door in the water. This next
room is a pretty tricky room to get through because the water currents
push you through the narrow corridors, plus it has a deluxe ability for
you to find! To reach the ability, head right, then down and right.
When the path splits again, head down, then right and up. Take the
Deluxe Beam ability, then enter the door to get to the beginning of
this room again! From the start, head right, then down and right like
before. Go down when the path splits, then go right instead of going up
like before. Then, go down and right through that little corridor, then
head up and you'll be in a large room. Continue up and right, and when
the path splits again, go with the right path. Head right until you
reach the sparkling door, then enter it to reach the boss. Defeat the
Fatty Whale, then touch the star and exit the level!

        Planet 3: Skyhigh

From the start, enter the door and head right. Continue all
the way to the right until a wind current starts to push you towards
the right. You should see a block above you when this starts to happen;
jump up, inhale, and destroy the block, then float up the passageway it
opened and enter the door. Take the Deluxe Jet ability, then exit the
room and continue right. Go right until you reach a fuse; ignite it
with the flames coming from the back of you when you use the Jet
ability. Then, head right as quickly as you can to the cannon. Jump
into it and be shot into a room where you can take the Deluxe Wheel
ability. Once you have it, exit through the door and go right a little
bit, then enter the next door. These next couple of rooms can be
confusing, so follow these directions carefully so you get through it
okay! First enter the door to the right. Then in the next room, enter
the middle door. Enter the left door next, and then go to the middle
one again and take the Deluxe Wing ability. Exit the room and enter the
right door, then go across the room and enter the far right door. In
the last room, enter the sparkling door in the middle to reach the
boss, Kracko. Defeat Kracko, then touch the start as in the other
levels to complete Skyhigh!

        Planet 4: Hotbeat

From the start, head all the way to the right while flying
and trying to avoid the glowing red spots; they hurt! When you can, go
up then left, then jump into the cannon you see to get shot to the
other end of the room. When you land, fly just a little bit back to the
right, and destroy the bomb block from its LEFT SIDE. Then, head back
to the left and continue upward. Head right at the top and take the
Lollipop to become invincible for a limited time! Run back to the left
and drop all the way down. Go right and float right up the glowing
column to the top and enter the door. Get to the top of the room while
trying to avoid the enemies, then enter the door at the top and take
the Deluxe Fire ability. Float up to the top of the screen and enter
the door, then head right and enter the next door you see. In the next
room, jump into the mine cart and ride it to the right while running
over all the stakes you come across. Keep riding until a fire column
appears and blocks you, then get out and float up and around the
column! Then, jump into the next cart and continue right until you see
a bunch of cracked blocks above you. Jump out of the cart RIGHT under
those cracked blocks on the patch of green land. This could be pretty
tricky to accomplish, so I'll tell you the easiest way to break all the
blocks! The first thing to do is create a Helper (it doesn't matter
what ability they have), then give yourself the Sword ability. Stand so
that the Helper is right in the same spot as you are, then jump up. The
moment Kirby touches the top of the Helper on his way down, press Up on
the Control Pad to get an added boost in your jump! When you make
contact with the blocks, use the Sword ability to destroy as many as
you can in one jump. Repeat this process until they're all destroyed,
then float up to the top and enter the door. Head right and defeat the
giant bug enemy, then take the Deluxe Suplex ability. Then, head left
and exit the room and jump into another mine cart and continue all the
way right until another fire column appears. Jump out of the cart
before it hits the column, then fly up and around it and enter the door
on the other side. In this room, head down and right, then when you're
able to, go up and right some more until you reach a cannon suspended
in the air. Jump in it, then let the next couple cannons shoot you
automatically; when you reach a cannon you have to manually shoot,
shoot yourself to the right. Let the next automatic cannon shoot you,
then when you reach another manual one, shoot to the right again. When
you land, enter the sparkling door to reach the boss, the Chameleon.
Defeat the Chameleon, then touch the star and exit the level!

        Planet 5: Cavios

From the start, enter the door and go right; go down the
first ladder you see. Go right and up the second ladder, then continue
right and fight the Cook enemy. Defeat him, then continue right; DON'T
go down the ladder, instead just keep on going right! Don't go down the
second ladder either; head right into the next little room and fight
the Poppy Brother. After you defeat him, take the Deluxe Bomb ability
and continue right and drop through the small platforms by pressing
Down while standing on them. Once at the bottom, go left, then down
through some more platforms! Go right at the bottom, then when you're
able to drop downward, go down and right. Defeat the Hammer enemy, take
the Deluxe Hammer ability after he's defeated, then head right. Pound
down the stake you see to make a bunch of goodies and a 1-Up come out
of the ceiling; take them and continue right. Go all the way down to
the bottom, then head left and defeat the giant Bug enemy at the end.
Enter the door that appears after you defeat him, then go to the top of
the room by jumping up the platforms and floating there. When you see
the Bomb Block on the ceiling, destroy it to make the water above it
come pouring out! When it stops, swim up through the hole that you just
opened and look for the switch to the right. Hit the switch, and then
go back down through the hole and down to the very bottom of the room.
Go right and enter the door that was previously blocked by a gate! In
that room, take the Deluxe Stone ability, then exit the room and go up
a little and head right. Climb down the ladder you come across, then
climb down the rest of the ladders you see until you reach the bottom
of the room. Enter the sparkling door and defeat the giant "face" boss
that tries to crush you with its fists! Defeat it by attacking its
fists, then touch the star at the end to exit the level!

        Planet 6: Mecheye

From the start, enter the door and head right until you see a
bunch of cannons. Jump into the first cannon, then when the last one
shoots you through the wall, start to float up to the ledge or you'll
fall to your death below! When you land on the upper ledge, continue
right until you can drop down again. Drop down at that point and
destroy the Bomb Block, then jump through the hole and take the
Lollipop QUICKLY if you want to be invincible, then enter the door.
Head right a little bit until you reach the platforms you can drop
through. Drop down through the platforms until you reach the bottom.
Then, float right across the spikes and avoid the enemies, then float
up to the switch and hit it to make a series of platforms appear right
above the spikes below you! Go all the way to the right until you see
an incline going right. Go up it just a small bit and you'll see
another platform to the left. Jump onto it and stand at the very edge
of it, then start flying as fast as you can up to the ceiling. Enter
the door in mid-air; in this room, go down the elevator while avoiding
the yo-yo enemies' attacks. Once you reach the bottom, enter the door
and take the Deluxe Yo-yo ability, then exit the room and go left. Let
the air current send you to the top of the room, then enter the door
there. Drop down, then keep going right up the incline and right a
little bit. Then, go down the hill and jump up to the top of the small
platforms. Get onto the second highest platform and head right; hit the
switch, then run back to the left and up to the top platform. Hit the
other switch there and run through the gate that you just opened, then
head down and right a little bit and hit the next switch. Then, go back
and up, and through the next gate. Keep going right to make it through
the final gate, then enter the door! In this room, go right and collect
all the goodies you want until you reach the elevator. Press up ONCE
when you board it, then get off at the first stop. Go left, then go up
the second elevator shaft to the VERY top and go left. Defeat the
Fighter enemy, then take the Deluxe Plasma ability after he's defeated,
and then go right and back onto the elevator. Go down the elevator and
get off at the first stop and go right; defeat the Hammer enemy to make
the sparkling door appear. Go through that door to fight the Heavy
Lobster boss (from the Revenge of the Meta-Knight game). Defeat him,
then touch the star at the end and exit the level!

        Planet 7: Halfmoon

From the start, float upward and enter the door. In the next
room, there'll be pretty strong wind currents pushing you to the right.
Just head right, defeating any enemies in your way until you can drop
down to a lower section of land. Give yourself any of the abilities,
then destroy the blocks to the left, and then take the Warp Star
through the rest of this area! After you land, enter the door nearby;
in the next room, jump into the first mine cart you see. Ride it all
the way to the right until it crashes. Then, fly up, but don't jump
into the next mine cart there, instead keep going right until you see a
block with a star on it in the ground. Take out your Yo-yo ability,
destroy the block, then drop down and enter the door in the air. Take
the Deluxe Mirror ability in that room, then exit that room and float
up to the highest platform in the room. Go left and jump into the mine
cart and ride it towards the right. Run over all the stakes in your way
until the cart crashes, and then enter the door at the very end. Head
all the way to the right and fight the Cook and Fighter enemies. Defeat
them, then enter the door that appears; in the next room, fly up
towards the top of the room until you see a Bomb Block. Destroy it,
then enter the door it once blocked and take the Deluxe Ninja ability.
Exit the room, then continue upward; after you pass all the water
sections up above, enter the sparkling door at the top. Go fight the
RPG battle, (I recommend using the Hammer ability while fighting here!)
then touch the star at the very end to leave the final planet!

    A8: Megaton Punch
        Difficulty: N/A

This game is just a mini game. In this one, you have to make
a larger crack in Popstar than the opponent. You can play this game
with 1 or 2 players and in a difficulty setting of 1 to 3.

    A9: Samurai Kirby
        Difficulty: N/A

This is another mini game. It's similar to Megaton Punch, but
a bit different. In this one, you and your opponent are standing in the
middle of nowhere. When an exclamation point(s) appear, push any button
as quickly as possible to win. Beat all 5 opponents to complete this
game!

    A10: Arena
         Difficulty: 5

You can only access this game if you beat all the other
games, including Milky Way Wishes first. Here, you go against all the
bosses in the game, one after another. During breaks between bosses,
you can replenish your health or take a special ability for the next
boss.

    A11: Ability List

There are 19 different abilities and 1 hidden ability that
you can use throughout the different games in Kirby Super Star. Here,
I'm going to list each ability and give a description of each, right
from the game itself, as well as how to do various moves with them!

Beam - Use the beam attack against enemies! Fire the beam by
pressing Y. This is a very handy and useful ability.

          Y: beam whip
          Dash + Y: cycle beam
Dash + Y: beam machine gun (in air)
Forward + Y: capture beam (near enemy)
          Hold Y: wave beam

Bomb - Blast your enemies to bits! Take accurate aim and throw
carefully. Your throw will be controlled by Y.

          Y: hold bomb

*: Bomb angle depends on how long you press Y.

Cook - This is one of the few abilities that you can only use
once, then it disappears. You get it by defeating and swallowing the
Chef Kawasaki mini-boss. When it's used Kirby bangs on a metal pot and
a giant pot falls to the ground. Then, all the enemies on the screen go
into the pot and Kirby jumps up onto the pot and stirs its contents.
Finally, the enemies that were in the pot pop out, but as power-ups to
recover your health!

Copy - Copy enemies' abilities without fighting! The helper
will also be able to copy abilities!

Y: analyze beam (Kirby); sneaky hand (Helper)
*: Can copy an enemy's ability.
*: The helper can dump a copy ability by pressing A.

Crash - This is another one-use ability obtained by either
swallowing the walking bomb enemy with a skull picture on it or using
the Copy ability on the floating orange heads. When used, Kirby
explodes and all of the regular enemies onscreen will be defeated. When
used against a boss, it'll give the boss a good amount of damage.

Cutter - The cutter can cut anything in its path. Use it to cut
down enemies, as well as ropes that get in your way.

          Y: cutter boomerang
Dash + Y: cutter dash attack
Y repeatedly: cutter drop attack (in air)
Down + Y: high-speed cutter drop (in air)
Y repeatedly: nonstop cutter attack (near enemy)

karate expert. Increase your power with practice!

          Grab + Y: Arm throw
Grab + Back + Y: Tomoe throw (Kirby only/when facing right)
*: Strength of attack depends on how long you press Y.

fuses, candles, or even yourself to become a mega-powerful weapon.

          Y: fire blow
Y + Control Pad: change fire direction
          Hold Y + Back: fireball
          Dash + Y: burning attack

          Dash + Y: hammer swing

          B: hover (in air)
Max power + B: Ultra-jet jump (in air)

Mike - This is another ability that can be used and disappears,
but it can be used three times! Get it by swallowing a walking
microphone enemy. It destroys all regular enemies, but doesn't cause as
much damage to bosses as the Crash ability does.

Mirror - Reflect enemy attacks or fool them by creating a
double image of Kirby.

          Y: mirror cut
          Hold Y: reflect force
          Dash + Y: mirror body
          L or R: reflect guard

Ninja - Copy the famous Japanese Ninja to hide in shadows and
vanish into the darkness!

Push a wall in the air: stick to wall
Stick to wall + B: triangle jump

Paint - This is a hidden ability and you can obtain it by
swallowing the multi-colored balls the Chameleon enemy shoots at you.
You can also swallow the blobs that Heavy Lobster spits out to get this
ability. You can only use this move once, though. You can blind Heavy
Lobster and change the Chameleon's colors with it! (You can't get this
ability in the Milky Way Wishes.)

          Y: paint blast

    A12: Boss Info

Here, I'll give info on the boss characters in all of Kirby
Super Star and what game you fight them in. You may use these
strategies when fighting these bosses in the Arena if you wish.

          Whispy Woods
            Found in: Spring Breeze
Strategy: If you already played the past Kirby adventure
games, you should know how to beat this guy. Just inhale the apples and
blast them back at him. Hit him enough and he cries because you beat
him (What a wimp!).

          Lololo and Lalala
            Found in: Spring Breeze
Strategy: Like last time, the not-so-famous twins will push
their bricks towards you. Inhale their bricks and blast them back at
them from behind. A few hits each and they'll blow up, as well as the
castle.

          Kracko
            Found in: Spring Breeze
Strategy: Here's one tough customer. Inhale the Waddle Doos
he fires at you and blast them back at him. Beat him like you usually
do and his whole body will explode into a blithering mess.

          King Dedede
            Found in: Spring Breeze
Strategy: This guy's surprisingly easy to beat. Just inhale
the stars he makes and fire them back at him. Sometimes Dedede trips.
Other times, he pulls his giant hammer out of nowhere and uses it to
smash anything in range. Deliver the final blow to him and he will be
blown out of the castle!

          DynaBlade
            Found in: DynaBlade
Strategy: This bird is the only boss you will encounter in DynaBlade.
She is fairly tricky, but if you have a seriously damaging ability,
you'll beat her easily. Beat her like normal to see the ending of this
main game.

          Fatty Whale
            Found in: Great Cave Offensive
Strategy: He has a pipe in his mouth and is known as the
fiercest of the sea monsters. Don't worry, he's as easy as any other
boss is! Simply avoid him by flying over him, then inhale the rocks and
fish that fall from the sky at some point, then spit them back at the
whale.

          Computer Virus
            Found in: Great Cave Offensive
Strategy: This RPG Battle-type boss unleashes 3 enemies on
you in two of the main games. It's just no problem to beat at all.

          Chameleo Arm
            Found in: Great Cave Offensive
Strategy: This is one of the most annoying battles in the
game. Inhale the spheres he spits at you and get the hidden Paint
ability. It's the best ability to have.

          Wham Bam Rock
            Found in: Great Cave Offensive
Strategy: Man, I hate this boss! He is pretty tough,
especially if you don't have any abilities to use! Inhale the rocks
that fall and send them right into his fists. Tough, isn't it?

          Heavy Lobster (part 1)
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: Surprisingly, this fight is short. Keep up the
good work, until the engine ignites. Don't rejoice yet, because you
must fight him again once you get back on the Halberd.

          Twin Woods
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: There will be two Whispy Woods in this fight, but
they're as easy as Whispy Woods. Just use the same strategy you used
and they will both cry because you beat them (What a bunch of wimps!).

          Combo Cannon
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: Even if I hate Wham Bam Rock, I hate this one
because it's extremely tough to destroy! Inhale the bombs the hand
throws down on you and send them into the top cannon. You'll need to
react to the hand's speed in order to destroy this boss.

          Halberds Reactor
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: Another annoying boss. You must destroy the
diamond in the center of this boss's body to stop the reactor's power
source, and destroy the Halberd. Don't worry, it's as easy as any other
boss is!

          Heavy Lobster (part 2)
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: Even if you've already met Heavy Lobster, get
ready to face him again a little later. Beat him the same way to
advance!

          Meta Knight
Found in: Revenge of the Meta Knight
Strategy: This is a nasty fight. You must beat him with the
sword, so you must be aggressive. You must memorize all the skills
you've got in order to slash him into pieces. Defeat him and escape the
Halberd and you beat this game!

          Marx, the insane Dream Lander
            Found in: Milky Way Wishes
Strategy: This one can be really easy to beat. Just inhale
the boomerangs he shoots at you and fire them back at him. Keep in mind
that he can take a lot of damage. If you can successfully avoid his
attacks, he should be simple to defeat. On the final blow, the comet
NOVA will explode and peace and order will finally be returned to the
magical Dream Land!

    A13: Tips

Sound Test: access this by completing the Arena.

Win Arena Somewhat Easier: when you have a break between
bosses, create a helper and take an ability for yourself, then go into
the fight. Let your helper fight while you stand in the corner and
guard. When your helper is near death, run in and defeat the boss
quickly!

Complete Game 100%: This isn't really a tip, but I'd like to say that
you do NOT get anything from beating Kirby Super Star with 100% complete.

    A1: Story

Kirby, our hero, makes his home in Dream Land, which is
located on PopStar. PopStar is a small, peaceful planet at the edge of
a vast universe.

One day, Kirby and Gooey went fishing. Birds were singing.
The sun was shining. It was such a nice day that they felt more like
napping than fishing.

As Kirby and Gooey relaxed, they noticed a black, cloud-like
object appear in the PopStar sky!

The black object started to spit out small clouds. These
clouds were scattered everywhere.

Just then, Coo appeared, looking panicked. "Hurry, Kirby!" he
said. "PopStar's in BIG trouble!"

The small clouds took control of King DeDeDe and his minions.
They started to do terrible things

Now, Kirby and his friends have left to get rid of these strange clouds
and save PopStar!

    A2: Controller Configuration

          Start: pause game
Y: inhale, exhale, blow air bubbles underwater, and attack
with current ability
Down: squat down, drop through thin floors, and swallow
enemies
          Up: go through door
Left and Right: walk around (press twice and hold to run)
B: jump (press repeatedly to fly), slide (press down and B)
          Select: get rid of ability
          A: call Gooey
X: take a friend, and release a friend

    A3: Friends and Abilities

ChuChu: she sticks to ceilings and can fly for short amounts
of time.
Coo: he can fly against wind currents and gusts.

Kine: he can swim against currents underwater and inhale
underwater.

Nago: he can jump 3 times, one after another before touching
the ground.

Pitch: he can fly pretty well, but not as well as Coo.

Rick: he doesn't slide on ice and when near a wall, press B
to kick off the wall.

The abilities in this game are Cutter, Broom, Ice, Spike,
Spark, Parasol, Fire, and Stone. Each ability has a different effect
when combined with any of the Friends. Below, I'm going to tell what
each possible effect of the ability does:

ChuChu + Broom: Kirby and ChuChu fly in the air on a
broomstick. The tiny "sparks" that come out of the back of the broom
can harm enemies. You can also fly endlessly on the broom!

ChuChu + Cutter: Kirby will take ChuChu and swing her in a
circle above and below him. ChuChu will hurt anything she touches!

ChuChu + Fire: Kirby will shoot a short flame out of his
mouth, harming any enemy that comes close. If you hold B while shooting
the flame, you'll shoot a flame upward, which will make ChuChu float
like a hot-air balloon. Whatever she touches will also get hurt.

ChuChu + Ice: ChuChu will shoot snowballs in a random
direction, freezing anything they touch.

ChuChu + Parasol: ChuChu and Kirby will spin around while
sitting inside the upside-down parasol. Any enemy that you hit will be
defeated.

ChuChu + Spark: Hold Y to make ChuChu charge up electric
power, then release it to shoot a small electric bullet. It can bounce
off some walls and harm any enemy (if any) it touches.

ChuChu + Spike: ChuChu shoots spikes in five directions,
hurting anything they hit.

ChuChu + Stone: Kirby turns into a stone and ChuChu and
himself spin around in circles, hitting anything in their way.

Coo + Broom: Kirby will shake Coo sideways in front of him
like he's a feather duster! It hurts anything that hits it.

Coo + Cutter: Coo will throw a large feather. You can either
allow it to go straight or aim it upward or downward by pressing Up or
Down.

Coo + Fire: Kirby and Coo will become a huge fireball and
rocket diagonally downward in the direction you're facing, toasting
anything that touches it!

Coo + Ice: Coo will shoot icicles in three directions,
freezing anything they hit.

Coo + Parasol: Kirby and Coo will spin around for a few
seconds very fast, hurting anything they touch.

Coo + Spark: Coo will shoot a lightning bolt straight down
below him, hitting anything below!

Coo + Spike: Kirby will turn into a spike facing straight
down, harming anything it hits. Kirby and Coo will drop down rather
slowly in this form.

Coo + Stone: Kirby will turn into stone, causing himself and
Coo to drop to the ground at a rapid speed. If you press B repeatedly,
you can have Coo try and fly with Kirby as a stone.

          Kine + Broom: Kine will stick a plunger out of his mouth;
press and hold Y when facing an enemy to stick them to the front of the
plunger; let go of Y to spit the enemy out.

Kine + Cutter: Kine shoots out a large beam shaped like the
cutter. It becomes smaller and smaller as it goes until it disappears.
It can go through walls, plus after it hits an enemy, it continues!

Kine + Fire: Kine shoots out a big flame ring that doesn't
decrease in size! It keeps on going, hitting enemies along the way,
until it disappears off the screen.

Kine + Ice: Kine turns into a jagged ice block (kinda like an
iceberg) and freezes anything that touches it.

Kine + Parasol: Kine sticks the parasol out of his mouth and
points it upward. If you're in the air, you can float in the air for a
limited time!

Kine + Spark: Kine makes a light bulb and sticks it out of
his mouth. It shines light in darkened rooms, revealing hidden doors
and marks on the doors (see World 3, Level 6). After the light bulb
breaks, you can use the sharp points of the bulb to hurt the enemies.

Kine + Spike: Kine has spikes pointing out of his body in
many directions, which can harm enemies from all sides!

Kine + Stone: Kirby turns into a stone inside Kine's mouth.
Kine hops up just a small bit and drop down mouth first to the ground.

Nago + Broom: Nago (rides) Kirby along the ground, killing
any enemies in the way!

Nago + Cutter: Nago will flip around and shoot a beam similar
to the one Kine shot out of his mouth. Instead, Nago shoots the beam
diagonally up and to the direction you're facing!

Nago + Fire: Nago shoots a small fire thing that moves along
the ground, getting larger as it travels. It'll become small again and
disappear after a few seconds.

Nago + Ice: Kirby breathes icy breath downward, which will
propel you and Nago into the air. Anything Kirby's breath touches will
be frozen.

Nago + Parasol: Kirby and Nago will bounce on the upside-down
parasol like it's a pogo stick! Anything you bounce on will get hurt.

Nago + Spark: Hold Y to charge up the power, then release it
after a few seconds to make sparks come out of Kirby. The sparks will
stay surrounding Kirby until he hits enough enemies or star blocks, or
if he gets out of Nago's grasp (press X).

Nago + Spike: Kirby will shoot out spikes in different
directions. Anything they hit will be hurt or destroyed.

Nago + Stone: After Kirby turns into a stone, Nago take him
and bangs him against the ground. The dust that appears when he hits
the ground can hurt any nearby enemies, too.

Pitch + Broom: Pitch will throw these blue bubbles that
explode on impact with anything.

Pitch + Cutter: Pitch will become a boomerang and fly to the
edge of the screen. He can fly through anything and defeat any enemies
he hits!

Pitch + Fire: Pitch does pretty much the same thing as with
the cutter ability, instead he's a flying fireball!

Pitch + Ice: Pitch does pretty much what alone does with this
ability; blows "puffs" of frozen breath. The only difference is that
with Pitch, the breath goes a bit further!

Pitch + Parasol: Kirby will hit Pitch with the parasol,
sending him flying! The longer you hold Y as Kirby swings, the higher
Pitch goes.

Pitch + Spark: Pitch turns into a radio controlled electrical
bird! Use the Control Pad to control where Pitch flies, and press Y to
call Pitch back to you.

Pitch + Spike: Pitch will move forward, stabbing in the
direction he's facing with his beak. The weird thing about this is if
you're in the air holding Y, Pitch will stab forward while staying at
the same altitude in the air!

Pitch + Stone: Pitch will turn into a stone and jump slightly
off the ground. Then, he'll crash down to the ground, hitting anything
that comes under!

Rick + Broom: Rick will stick this blue duster out of his
mouth and shake it in front of him.

Rick + Cutter: Rick takes Kirby, who is shaped like a cutter,
and throw him! You can move Rick around while Kirby flies around,
hurting anything he touches!

Rick + Fire: Rick shoots many fireballs out of his mouth,
scorching anything they hit!

Rick + Ice: Rick rolls into a ball and Kirby (also in ball
form) sits on top of Rick, and shakes small ice things off of him. They
freeze any enemy that gets hit by them.

Rick + Parasol: Rick balances the parasol on his nose and
Kirby rolls around on the top of it. Anything that touches Kirby or the
umbrella will be hurt.

Rick + Spark: Rick shoots a beam out of his mouth that goes
from the air to the ground, hurting anything that gets hit.

Rick + Spike: A bed of spikes comes out of Rick's back. The
spikes will kill any enemy coming towards you from behind!

Rick + Stone: Rick will become a rolled up boulder with Kirby
standing on top. You can walk on Rick and roll on the ground, crushing
enemies in your path!

    A4: Options

Note symbol: Sound Test; you have this option at any point
during the game!

B: Boss Butch; defeat the 6 bosses one after another with no
abilities and with only ONE life!

J: Jumping; jump onto the smiling faces 10 times as yourself
or with a friend to win. Don't step on the spike enemies; they'll kill
you!

M: Mini Game 5; play the 5 mini games one after another. Win
all 3 rounds in each one to enable the Jumping option.

?: You get this option from beating all the other options.
Here, you can see the opening introductions to each world, as well as
each of the 3 endings to the game.

    A5: Walkthrough

          World 1: Grass Land

Level 1: in the 3rd room, don't step on any of the flowers.

Level 2: in the 2nd room, get ChuChu, then go to the 3rd
room. Go in the room halfway through this room and use your basic
attack at this point.

Level 3: in the 3rd room, beat the mini game.

Level 4: in the 3rd room, get the Stone ability and use it on
the special blocks to reach the once blocked door. Defeat the Fire mini
boss, then go in the following room and get the lost monkey.

Level 5: in the 2nd room, enter the door to the left and get
Kine. Then, finish the entire level with him.

Level 6: in the 2nd room, find and collect ALL 3 colored
shapes for the clown at the end of the level.

Boss Level: Whispy Woods; inhale the fruit he spits at you
back at him. When he starts chasing you, inhale the rotten fruit he
spits at you at him until he's defeated.

          World 2: Ripple Field

Level 1: in the 1st room, get the Broom ability and in the
2nd room, get Pitch. Then, in the 3rd room, go in each of the 3
underwater rooms and use your power to water all 6 flower stems.

Level 2: in the 1st room, get the Parasol ability, then in
the 2nd room, get Kine. Next, go to the 4th room and enter the first
door you see. There, use your ability at that point.

Level 3: in the 5th room, beat all 3 rounds of the mini game.

Level 4: at the end of the 4th room, go in the hidden room to
the left. Go up, and enter the next room and defeat the Spike boss.
Take his ability and use it on the special blocks in the next room to
free the trapped frog.

Level 5: find Pitch somewhere in this level and finish the
level with him.

Level 6: near the middle of the 5th room, enter the lower-
right hand door. Break the blocks to make a design like this one:

                             __
                           _| |_
                         _| |_
                        |_ _|
                          |_ _|
                            |__|

Boss Level: Acro; when you're above water, inhale the rocks
that fall from the ceiling when he hits the wall and spit them at him.
When you go underwater, when he spits out skulls and smaller fish, use
your air bubbles to blow those things back at him. Also, when he hits
the wall again, blow the rocks at him, too.

          World 3: Sand Canyon

Level 1: in the 1st room, step on all the flowers, but don't
step on any mushrooms.

Level 2: get the Broom power somewhere in this level. Then,
in the 6th and 8th rooms, sweep the floor where it's all dark and dirty
until it's all clean!

Level 3: in the 4th room, beat all 3 rounds of the mini game.

Level 4: in the 3rd room, follow the bottom, top, and middle
paths and enter the room. Defeat the Broom mini boss, and go in the
next room and take the lost kid.

Level 5: in the 3rd room, enter the door about halfway
through the room, and get ChuChu and complete the level with her.

          Level 6: I didn't make a written guide for this level's Heart
Star because it would be quite long! Instead, I made a GIF file showing
where to go in the big room to get ALL the robot parts.

Boss Level: Don and Con; inhale the smaller enemies and spit
them back at them, while avoiding the falling bombs.

          World 4: Cloudy Park

Level 1: in the 1st room, get the Broom ability, then get
Rick in the 2nd room. With them, go all the way to the 12th room and
use the ability to dust off all the flowers. (Without stepping on
them!)

Level 2: in the 6th room, get the Spike ability. Then, go to
the 8th room and use it to pop the floating balloon.

Level 3: in the 4th room, beat all 3 rounds of the mini game.

Level 4: in the 2nd room, get Coo. Then, enter the door at
the end of the 6th room and defeat the Parasol boss. In the next room,
use Coo to fly against the wind gusts to get the orange.

Level 5: in the 3rd room, get Rick and finish the level with
him.

Level 6: in the 8th room, enter the 2nd door you see. Break
the blocks there so they look like this:

                            _ _ _ _ _
                           |_ _|
                             |_ _|
                               | |
                              _| |_
                             |_ _ _|

Boss Level: Ado; defeat his 1st painting, the Ice Dinosaur,
by inhaling the ice blocks it makes and spit them at it. Against his
2nd painting, the Angler Fish inhale the stars it creates and spit them
back at it. For his 3rd painting, Mr. Sun and Mr. Moon, inhale the
stars that appear when they attack and spit them back at the enemy on
the ground. Against his 4th painting, Kracko, inhale and spit out the
smaller enemies at it until it blows up. When Ado gets mad and attacks
you, just do your slide against him once to destroy him!

          World 5: Iceberg

Level 1: in the 3rd room, get the Fire ability and use it on
all the frozen flowers.

Level 2: in the 2nd room, take the Ice ability. Then, in the
3rd room, enter all 3 of the rooms and use it to defeat the flying
enemies.

Level 3: in the 4th room, beat the mini game.

Level 4: in the 3rd room, get the Fire ability from the
enemies and at the bottom of the room, break the ice blocks to the left
and go in the room and get Coo. Then, go all the way to the 8th room
with Fire ability and Coo, and break the ice blocks blocking your path.
Enter the door with the 2 flower things on both sides. Break the ice
with Coo, and then get ChuChu. Fly upward with her to break the ice.
Continue breaking the ice with Coo, the Fire ability, and ChuChu until
you reach the LAST door in the room. Drop down and take the shell with
swirls on it.

Level 5: unfortunately, I can't provide the best info for
getting the Heart Star here, but the way I say here does work! In a
different level, get Nago, and then enter the level. Just beat the
level with him to get it.

Level 6: in each room, there will be an enemy with a special
ability, and you'll need to take their powers to use in the following
rooms. Use each of the abilities to get all the feathers to give to the
angel at the end.

          Boss Level: King DeDeDe

World 6: Hyper Zone You can only access this world if you've
collected all 24 Heart Stars throughout the levels. The boss here is
the Dark Matter.

    A6: Enemy List

Apolo: His home is on the sides of trees and other round
objects. He will spin around on the cylinders and not do much else. No
powers.

Babut: This annoying pest will hang from ceilings, then when
you get near, will fly around, trying to get a piece of your face,
which he will, sometimes. No powers.

Batamon: This looks like a clone of Kirby! You can never
encounter him directly, as there is always a barricade between him and
you. I've found out a way to kill this enemy, thanks to OneFinger5@aol.com. You
must have Pitch and the Spark ability. When Batamon appears, quickly initiate
the Spark ability and direct Pitch toward Batamon. If you are quick enough in
doing so, Pitch destroys him.

Blipper: This fish can be in or out of water. Out of water,
he's no threat. Under water, he will move in your direction. No powers.

Bobo: This little fireball will walk around. They come in the
short and fat version, or tall and lanky! Take your pick! Fire power.

Boten: This thing is always on the top of cactuses in desert
areas. They will not do anything until you walk under them; then they
will fall down and try to spike you. Spike power.

Bouncy: This spring creature will just bounce around with her
pretty bow in her hair. No powers.

Bronto Burt: This guy will sometimes rest on the ground, and
when you come near, he'll fly up and dive-bomb you! Other times he will
just fly in the sky, following a pattern. No powers.

Broom Hatter: He walks on the ground, sweeping up dust with
his broom. He wears a witch's hat for some weird reason. Broom power.

Bukiset: These creatures are unique in the fact that they
will give any powers! Their attacks will show which powers they give.

Cappy: This is a little mushroom that hops around. Suck off
his cap and he will walk around, looking a little frightened. >;) Now
suck HIM up! MWA-HA-HA!!! Sorry. No powers.

Chilly: He is an evil snowman that will throw out a little
force field of ice flakes around him. He will sometimes waddle towards
you in certain levels. Ice power.

Como: This creature looks like a tick-spider mix and will
hang from surfaces by his thread, coming down to throw his webbing at
you. No powers, again.

Dekabu: He looks like one of those statues from Easter
Island! He is the large one that spits out Kabus. You can't suck him.

Dogan: This little caveman will hit anything you spit at him
with his trusty club! No powers.

Doka: He will go around throwing pieces of rock at you with
his shovel. No powers.

Gabon: This guy wears a skull for a cap and throws bones.
Suck his hat off, though, and he is a helpless wimp! No powers.

Galbo: These fire dragons will not move and apparently will
snooze until you come near enough. Fire power.

Gansan: This seems to be made of three stones, which take
turns being the head. He rolls around. Stone power.

Glunk: He will hang from ceilings and floors and shoot rays
at you. No powers.

Gordo: This spike ball will float around or stay in place.
You can't do anything to it but avoid it.

Joe: These are sharks that will try to take a hunk outta yer
face! No powers.

Kabu: These are little Dekabus! They will roll around and do
nothing else. No powers.

Kany: This looks like a little crab that will try to grab you
with his claws. No powers.

Kapar: He looks like a green duck. He will stand in place,
jumping and throwing his spiky hat at you randomly. He can also swim.
Cutter power.

Keke: She's a cute little witch, riding her broom. Suck her
broom and check out her awesome cartwheels! He, he, he, Ke-Ke-Ke! >;)
OK, I'll stop now. Broom power for her broom and her.

Klinko: This purple dude looks like he's wearing a straw hut
on his head! He will hop around. Umbrella power.

Loud: This rain-cloud will hover in the sky and drop rain
sometimes. No powers.

Madoo: He's a little wizard who flies in the sky, staying
above you until you stand still so he can have a clear shot at you with
his black blobs. However, they can destroy some blocks that you cannot,
allowing you to access passages you yourself could not go to! No
powers, as usual.

Magoo: This fireball has a black center and will jump up when
you come near. Fire power.

Mariel: This is a black circle that will grow legs and come
after you! It looks like a giant spider. Rather uniquely, he will give
you damage if you swallow him!

Mony: This is a little creature that lives in his shell,
swimming around and doing nothing. No powers.

Mopoo: These are blue rays that only appear in one level of
the game. They shoot out from their hiding place. Try and attack their
heads. No powers.

Mumbies: They look like little hovering mummies. No powers.

Nidoo: These creatures look like doors, until you get too
close! No powers.

Nruff: These look like porcupines that run around, bumping
into anything they meet and changing direction. They are sometimes
ridden by Waddle Dees. No powers.

Oro: He is a yellow blob that hides on floors and ceilings,
rearing his little head when you get too close. No powers.

Pakto: These big traps will jump up or fall down and try to
chew you up. You can't suck them.

Pasara: These white clouds are too spiky to touch, and when
you do, they split into three small ones! No powers, as they are
unsuckable.

Peloo: These faces don't appear until you are directly
underneath them, then they will drop their tongues and try to eat you!
Yuck! You can't do anything to them.

Peran: These dudes will peek out from their hiding place
behind the wallpaper and spit blobs at you. No powers.

Polof: This guy looks like a bunny and only appears in level
3-1. No powers. TRICK: However, leave him alone and he will disappear!
Press Up where he vanished to find a hidden room with a 1-Up and lots
of Power Stars!

Popon: He looks like a bunch of green blobs stacked up on
each other, because that's what he is! He will grow indefinitely unless
you can destroy the bottom blob. He will also throw green blobs at you.
No powers.

Poppy Bros. Jr.: These will sometimes walk along on pieces of
rather large fruit. Otherwise he will just walk around aimlessly. No
powers, though you can get two attack stars: one from him, one from the
fruit.

Propeller: This starts out as an egg, but when you come
close, this creature hatches out! He comes in random colors; there is
no difference what color it is. He will fly around and try to hit you.
No powers.

Pteran: They fly around, hovering to your level, though they
never change direction unless they come to a wall. No powers.

Rocky: The basic rock power form. He will walk around,
sometimes jumping to smash you. They will also roll down hills, like
you. Rock power, DUH!

Sasuke: This creature has a little umbrella on his head. They
will sometimes fall from the sky, using their umbrella heads as a
parachute. Umbrella power.

but if you try to inhale him... Wow! Can he ever get mad! No powers.

at you. You cannot suck them or attack them, and they will hurt you if
you touch them.

Sirkibble: This looks like a little knight in armor, and will
throw boomerangs at you. Cutter power.

Sparky: This green blob will hop around and start shooting
electricity at times. Electricity power.

Squishy: This squid does nothing but float up and down,
sometimes jumping out of the water. No powers.

Tick: He looks nice, harmless, and cute when you are at or
below his level, but when you are above him, this evil thing will spike
you with his pointy head. Spike power.

Togezo: This creature has a spiky shell and walks around
slowly, sometimes thrusting out his spikes with vigor. Spike power.

Waddle Dee: This baddie is really easy; all he can do is walk
and jump around. Sometimes he rides Nruffs or paddleboards. No powers
for eating him.

Wapod: This is some sort of Waddle Dee genie. He will
recreate indefinitely unless you destroy his bottle. No powers for
either.

Wappa: This furry creature does nothing but walk and roll
around. Snow power.

Yaban: This fatso will jump up and shoot arrows at you. Talk
about evil Cupids! No powers.

          Boboo (Fire)
Info: He's not too hot to handle! He'll keep ramming himself
into the walls of his fiery room and leaving little chunks of coal for
you to fire back at him.

          Yuki (Ice)
Info: This giant snowman is not very happy. He will throw
three snowballs, so suck them up and fire them back when his head
reappears. He will sometimes jump around.

          Haboki (Broom)
Info: This humongous broom will jump around, creating stars.
He will also sweep up stars. Very, VERY easy.

          Blocky (Stone)
Info: This guy's not too tough. Just inhale the rocks he
knocks out of the wall when he charges and blast them back at him.
Also, blast the rocks he knocks off the floor back at him.

          Captain Stitch (Spike)
Info: Like last time, this guy's not confined by gravity. He
will throw his spikes at you. Suck them up and spit them back. Hurry
though, he's invincible with his spikes.

          Jumper Shoot (Parasol)
Info: This guy likes to spin after you, stopping to throw his
sandals at you. Suck them up and fire them back. When he's spinning, he
is invulnerable. Fly to the highest corner of the room so he can't hurt
you.

4. Kirby's Dream Course

    A1: Story

Once upon a time, on a little star, there was a small, peaceful
country called Dream Land. The Dream Spring incident was over and the
inhabitants of Dream Land returned to their normal, peaceful lives. Every day,
they would eat delicious meals and take wonderful afternoon naps. There was no
need to worry about anything since everything was so peaceful.

At night, everyone slept soundly as thousands of stars lit the sky and
quietly stood watch over Dream Land. The stars, known for their beauty, became
the pride and joy of everyone in Dream Land.

One night, the inhabitants said to one another, "Let's gaze at the
star-lit sky and have wonderful dreams tonight." However, when they gazed up
into the sky they noticed something was different. The sky was black. There
wasn't a single star in sight! The next morning, they were very worried.
Everyone became upset and asked each other "What happened to the stars?" "Will
we ever see them again?" Then, someone said, "Don't worry! Surely, the sky will
be full of stars again!" However, the stars did not return that night, or the
night after. Everyone in Dream Land became very sad.

How many nights have passed since they last saw the beautiful, star-
lit sky? Every night, all they saw was the pitch black sky and no stars.
Everyone was in a state of shock. They were so worried that they gradually
stopped eating their delicious meals and no longer enjoyed having dreams. Their
spirits were sinking fast. Eventually, laughter ceased in Dream Land, and
everyone stopped smiling.

Another dark, gloomy night loomed over Dream Land. All sorts of rumors
had been spreading, and everyone was saying, "It looks like King Dedede is
behind this." "I bet he's hogging all those beautiful stars for himself!" Could
it be that King Dedede is indeed responsible for the missing stars?

If it's true, there's only one hero that can save the stars. Yes, that
young hero is Kirby. He comes in with the spring breeze and saves Dream Land in
times of crisis.

Kirby sets out for his long adventure to punish King Dedede once again
and take back the stolen stars. Kirby heads for King Dedede's floating castle.
His servants each have a star and they wait for Kirby's arrival at the castle.

This adventure is full of new and amazing challenges. Good luck,
Kirby!

    A1: Intro

On a tiny star somewhere far, far away from earth, there is a
very special place known as Dream Land. The Dream Landers are very
happy people who use their magical sparkling stars to play and work
among the heavens. That is until one night when the gluttonous King
DeDeDe and his rotten band of thieves swooped down from neighboring Mt.
DeDeDe for a midnight snack in Dream Land. Not only did they steal all
their food, but they stole the Dream Landers' treasured Sparkling Stars
as well.

Because the Dream Landers didn't have the Sparkling Stars to
gather food anymore they began to get very hungry. Suddenly a spry
little boy named Kirby happened along and said "Don't worry, I'll get
your food and your Sparkling Stars back!" With these words, Kirby set
off on his quest toward the dreaded Mt. DeDeDe. We wish him luck!

    A2: Controller Configuration

          Start: pauses game
          A: jump or fly higher
B: inhale or spit out enemies, blocks, etc.
Up: fly in the air (press B to spit out the air in your mouth
and fall down to the ground.)
          Down: squat down
Left and Right: run in either direction

    A3: Items

1-Up: When collected, you gain an extra life. (obviously!)

Bag of Magic Food: This allows you to recover all your
vitality when collected.

Candy: This treat lets you become invincible and able to run
through and defeat enemies. It only lasts for a limited time, though.

Microphone: When you see one of these in the game, inhale it
and spit it out to defeat all the enemies on the screen as you use it!

Mint Leaf: When used, Kirby floats indefinitely. He can shoot
out air puffs endlessly with the leaf, too.

Pep Brew: This small bottle replenishes your vitality by two.
They are about the most common of the items throughout the game.

Sparkling Star: This "item" only appears after you defeat one
of the bosses. You MUST take it to advance to the following level.

Spicy Food: This spicy dish gives Kirby the power to spit out
fireballs at a VERY rapid pace, killing any enemies that come in
contact with them! Unfortunately, it only lasts a limited amount of
time.

Warp Star: When you get on one, it brings you to the next
area of a stage.

    A4: Enemy List

Babut: Watch where he flies, or he might fly into you.

Birdy: This bird may fly in your direction, so watch out.

Blipper: There's something fishy about the fish. He leaps out of the
water in five seconds.

Bronto Burt: He will launch himself when you're close, or simply fly
up and down.

Broom Hatter: She's a dilly on cleanliness, so she sweeps the floor.

Bumping Boo: A ghost that can launch himself after you is this one!

Cappy: Cappy will hide under a mushroom hat until you suck it off.

Chucky: This little googly fellow pops out of a box at certain times,
trying to scare you.

Coconut Bomb: Falling from trees is his specialty.

Florry: Florry is really bored, so he just spins in a big triangle.

Glunk: Be careful he doesn't pop out diamonds on you!

Gordo: One touch and you are not going to be happy anymore.

Grizzo: Grizzo is some sort of mutated bovine who anxiously searches
for help.

Kabu: Magically, he can disappear and reappear.

Metallic Kabu: It wants attention, but if you ignore it, Metallic Kabu
will get really mad and chase you!

Mumbies: A mutated mummy can harm you well.

Poppy Bros. Jr.: Poppy Bros. Jr. will walk back and forth as he
pleases. He sometimes rides Grizzo.

Scarfy: If you try to suck up this little fellow, he goes wild!

Shelkoo: This guy can shoot beams if he's mad enough.

Shelled Kany: He does very little, so don't worry about him.

Shotzo: Shotzo will try and shoot you from whatever direction it can
get to.

Sir Kibble: He will throw knives at you. Dodge them, or you'll get
hurt!

Squishy: Expect him to merely leap around, or possibly fly.

Tick: Falling from the sky is what Tick does.

Trapo: Very rarely seen, he will just fly by.

Waddle Dee: This is your average enemy, and he does little for
defenses or attacks.

Waddle Doo: This guy can shoot also beams if he's mad enough.

    A5: Boss Strategies

        Stage 1 Boss: Wispy Woods
Strategy: This big tree seems to be the first boss in a lot
of Kirby games. The trick to defeating him is simple; inhale the apples
that fall from his leaves and blast them back at him. Put an end to his
evil ways and he cries because you beat him (what a wimp!).

Stage 2 Boss: Lololo and Lalala
Strategy: This infamous duo will pop out of a series of doors
and push their little bricks towards you. You can sneak up behind them
and blast them with their own bricks. Three hits each and they'll blow
up, as well as the castle.

        Stage 3 Boss: Kaboola
Strategy: This gal is a blimp! Avoid her cannonballs and spit
air pellets at her. When she flashes, she'll dash at you. Avoid her
when she dashes and keep spitting air pellets at her. It takes thirty
hits to make this blimp run away, to be seen again only once.

        Stage 4 Boss: Kracko
Strategy: This boss isn't that hard. Just inhale the Waddle
Doos he tosses at you and blast them back at him. Watch out, as Kracko
will also try to zap you with his favorite lightning! If you stay at
the highest corner, Kracko can't damage you. Six hits and he'll explode
into a BLITHERING mess!

        Final Boss: King Dedede
Strategy: King Dedede is pretty easy. All you gotta do is
wait for him to release a star when he smashes down by jumping or
swinging his hammer down. Inhale the star that he releases and fire it
back at him. It takes ten hits to defeat King Dedede. On the final
blow, he will be blown out of the castle!

    A1: Story

Kirby lives on the rainbow islands of Dream Land. The
rainbows that connect the islands have been stolen by the evil Dark
Matter! Dark Matter has taken control of King DeDeDe and wants to turn
Dream Land into a dark world. With the help of three friends, Kirby
sets out on his latest quest to save Dream Land.

    A2: Controller Configuration

          Start: pause game
          A: jump
B: inhale, spit out, use your ability, use water gun
underwater, and use air gun when flying
          Up: enter doors and fly
Down: swallow, squat down, and drop through thin floor
Select: get rid of friends, or lose special abilities

    A3: Friends and Abilities

Coo: He can fly, but in order to swallow, you must land.

Kine: With him, you can inhale and swallow things underwater.

Rick: He has great traction on the ice, so he doesn't slip.

The 7 special abilities are Fire, Needle, Cutter, Stone, Ice,
Spark, and Parasol. Each ability has a different effect when combined
with each of the 3 Friends. Below, I'm going to tell what each possible
effect of the ability does:

Coo + Cutter: Coo throws out feathers in three directions:
one straight forward, one diagonally upward, and one diagonally
downward.

Coo + Fire: Kirby and Coo will rocket diagonally down to the
ground like a huge fireball!

Coo + Ice: Kirby exhales icy breath really fast in any
direction except upward, freezing anything that gets hit!

Coo + Needle: Kirby turns into a spike pointing downward,
killing any enemy that's below him!

Coo + Parasol: Kirby and Coo spin around really fast like a
tornado, hurting anything in the way.

Coo + Spark: Coo will shoot lightning bolts straight down to
the ground, literally frying anything they hit!

Coo + Stone: Kirby turns into a stone and Coo and himself
drop down to the ground, crushing anything below them!

Kine + Cutter: Kine shoots out a large beam shaped like a
cutter. It doesn't decrease in size as it travels like in KDL 3, but
it's still a great move!

Kine + Fire: Kine shoots a single fireball out of his mouth
straight forward, hitting anything in its path.

Kine + Ice: A bunch of ice "pellets" spin around Kine. If you
hold B for a couple moments, he'll turn into an ice block!

Kine + Needle: A bunch of spikes come out of all sides of
Kine's body, hitting anything that walks into you!

Kine + Parasol: Kine sticks the parasol out of his mouth for
a couple seconds. It's a really useless move in my opinion!

Kine + Spark: Kine sticks a light bulb out of his mouth that
shines light in darkened areas! You can also spit the bulb out by
releasing the B button, then detonating it in mid-air by pressing B
while it's flying!

Kine + Stone: Kine turns into an oddly shaped stone and drops
to the ground, crushing anything below.

Rick + Cutter: Rick takes Kirby and throws him like he's a
boomerang so he can hit enemies across the screen!

Rick + Fire: Rick shoots out many fireballs from his mouth in
many directions straight ahead.

Rick + Ice: Rick rolls into a ball with Kirby rolled up on
top of him like a snowman! A bunch of ice pellets circle them in that
form freezing any enemies that come near.

Rick + Needle: An entire bed of spikes come out of Rick's
back, hurting any enemies approaching you from behind!

Rick + Parasol: Rick balances the umbrella on his nose with
Kirby rolling around on top of it.

Rick + Spark: Rick shoots a beam out of his mouth that goes
from the air to the ground, hurting anything that gets hit.

Rick + Stone: Rick turns into a boulder and Kirby can walk on
top of it and roll over any enemies in your path!

you have to start the level over again. In the 10th room, defeat the
Parasol mini boos to reveal the exit.

Boss Level: King DeDeDe; when he uses his hammer or jumps,
inhale the stars that appear and spit them back out at him. After you
take away some of his power, he'll throw his hammer at you and it will
blow up, making him turn a dark shade. Now, follow the same procedure
as before to attack, but when he attacks you, an explosion will come
with the stars. Keep attacking until he is defeated.

Final Boss: Dark Matter; if you have all 7 Rainbow pieces,
then you can fight him. He has 2 phases of attacking, which I'm
describing below!

Phase 1: Dark Matter takes the form of a sword wielding
wizard-type thing. He attacks by swiping his sword at you and dashing
around the sky. He also shoots an energy ball at you, which you can hit
with your sword to bounce it back at him. Keep attacking him with your
sword and bouncing energy balls at him until he blows up.

Phase 2: Now, Dark Matter will take the form of a large black
orb with smaller orbs attached to his body. He attacks this time by
sending the smaller orbs after you and by shooting bolts of lightning.
Attack him again as before, swipe him with your sword and hit his small
orbs at his eye when they come near. (They take a bit more power away
than your sword.) Keep doing this until he is defeated and then you've
won the game!

    A5: Mini-Boss Info

          Efrite (Fire)
Info: He will hop around for a few seconds, then all of a
sudden, he will jump up and ram himself into the wall! He sometimes
rams himself into the floor as well.

          Mr. Frosty (Ice)
Info: This big walrus likes to toss ice blocks at you, charge
straight at you, then repeat the same pattern. Inhale the ice blocks
and spit the stars back at him!

          Waiyu (Cutter)
Info: Dodging this mini-boss's boomerangs is pretty tricky.
He will throw one cutterang at you, then teleport. Inhale the tiny
ninjas he tosses at you and send them back at him!

          Blocky (Stone)
Info: He will charge into the walls, knocking the rocks out
of the walls. Suck them up and spit them back at him. He will also
triple jump. On the third jump, he will smash down, creating more
rocks.

          Captain Stitch (Spike)
Info: This guy isn't confined by gravity! He will float
around after you if you try to take refuge in the highest corner of the
room. He will throw his spikes against the wall, leaving him vulnerable
to attacks for a moment. Inhale the spikes and spit them back at him
before he grows back new spikes! This mini-boss will also charge
against the walls, which will knock off his spikes. He is the hardest
of the mini-bosses IMHO.

          Jumper Shoot (Parasol)
Info: He will kick off his sandal, so inhale it and spit it
back at it. He will also spin around the room. Fly to the high corner
of the room where he can't reach you.

          Big Spark (Spark)
Info: This jellyfish mini-boss is pretty easy. All you have
to do is stay away from him. He will slide after you, so jump over him
when he slides closer to you. He will surround himself with a huge
spark that shields him from most attacks. When he jumps, he'll fire a
shockwave at you. After firing the shockwave, he'll toss a star at you.
In midair, he'll shoot lightning from his tentacle. He'll also toss
stars at you while in midair. Suck up the stars he throws and fire them
back at him!

    A6: Tips on Getting 100%

When you defeat a boss, reenter that world and enter the boss
door again. It will be a bonus game where you have to catch all the
stars and not get hit by anything else. If you beat all 7 mini games in
each world, you get more percentage towards the 100% mark.

When you defeat a mini boss, the bag opens up and usually
reveals a friend to take along. If you defeat the boss and the bag
opens when you have a friend, a blob will come out. If you happen to
find and take the elusive Girl Blob, you'll get percentage towards the
100% mark. (Note: you must get the Girl Blob to beat the game
completely.)

*********************************************************************

    A1: Introduction

In this adventure, Kirby takes center stage in a frenzied,
block-clearing free for all! Through the positioning of the paddle, you
send a ball into the playing field and clear a variety of blocks, with
the goal of establishing a high score! After facing familiar enemies,
Kirby must confront his arch-nemesis, King DeDeDe! It will not be an
easy task... Use the four abilities and the Kirby Power Bounce Wisely!
Good luck, Kirby!

    A2: Controller Configuration

          Start: pause game
A: Kirby Power Bounce (turns ball into Kirby as it hits the
paddle), launches ball in beginning of level
          B: use your ability
Select: return to map when paused
Control Pad: move paddle or cursor

          Candy

          Changer
Graphic: Shows Kirby with a question mark next to him

Press B while he's doing the ability you want to get it.

          Crash
            Graphic: Shows a bomb
Info: Removes the blocks that are normally impossible to
destroy.

          Flip
Graphic: Shows a small shaded in box and another unshaded
box, each having arrows pointing to each other
Info: White-colored blocks will become darker-colored and
the darker ones will turn white.

          Replica
Graphic: Shows 2 balls next to each other
Info: It splits the ball into two, which is usually hard to
control both of them!

    A4: Block Types

Ability Block: Hence its name, it can only be destroyed by an
ability.

Pinball Block: A round smiley face; when you hit it, you
bounce away.

Power Block: This is the most common block type in the game.
There are 3 different colors: white, shaded gray, and black. You can
destroy the white ones by hitting it once and the shaded one by hitting
it twice. To beat the black one, you must use the Kirby Power Bounce.
The white/shaded ones can both be destroyed in one hit with the Kirby
Power Bounce as well.

Score Block: A block with a star on it. Each time you hit it,
you gain points; hit it 7 times total to get a 1-Up, provided you used an
ability/Power Bounce to make the final hit! You can get more points per hit by
using the Kirby Power Bounce or an ability to hit it.

Star Block: This type of block only appears in the last round
before the boss of each level and in the bosses round. They can be
destroyed with one hit. If they're hit in the boss's round, they reveal
spikes below them, which can harm you!

Switch Block: This round block with 2 smaller orbs around it
activates the bonus round. There's usually only one found in the same
round.

Through Block: When a Switch Block is activated, these blocks
take the place of the regular blocks onscreen. You can go right through
them, too. For each block you destroy, you get 500 points.

    A5: Abilities

There are four abilities in this game: Fireball, Spark,
Needle, and Stone. When used, they make it easier to destroy most
blocks on the board. You can tell if you have an ability because the
ball will flash if you do. You can also tell which ability you have by
looking in the small box in the upper-left corner of the screen.

Fireball: Kirby turns into a fireball, which flies straight
upward. If you hit the ceiling, you'll fall diagonally down and to the left.

Needle: This unique ability allows you to relaunch the ball
during play without dying or restarting the level. When you're about to
hit a paddle, press B to stick to it and relaunch.

Spark: When activated, it allows Kirby to destroy any block
in his way.

Stone: When used, you drop straight down, no matter where you
are. It can be a fatal move if used at the wrong time.

    A6: Level Descriptions/Boss Info

          Stage 1
Info: This flower level is the only level you can access at
the beginning of the game.
Boss: Large Cappy; at first, he jumps to the right and left
in an attempt to shrink your paddle. Get his energy to halfway and his
cap will disappear. He'll now be surrounded by four swirling, little,
capless Cappys. Two hits on one will make it disappear. Once they all
disappear, you can go in for the kill!

          Stage 2
Info: This watery level introduces the black blocks that
can only be destroyed by a giant Kirby Power Bounce.
Boss: Large Squishy; He never attacks your paddles to make
them shrink, but if you hit him once, he'll get mad. When he's angry
(signified by the squinted eyes) he'll pick up Kirby and hurl him at
the downward row of spikes. Hit him enough and he'll explode.

          Stage 3
Info: This level introduces the Spark ability.
Boss: Kabu; He summons minor totems on six sides of him and
sends them at all four rows of spikes and stars. If it hits Kirby,
he'll bounce away, if one hits a paddle, it will shrink; if one hits a
star block, it will disappear; and if it hits a spike, it does
absolutely nothing. Hit him like normal to defeat him.

          Stage 4
Info: This level introduces the Replica item. If you can
survive a level with both balls intact, you'll get a 1-up.
Boss: Poppy Bro; This boss, whose main attack is (surprise,
surprise) throwing bombs down at the bottom row of spikes! Beat him
like every other boss, ho-hum.

          Stage 5
Info: This level introduces the Stone ability.
Boss: Mr. Shine/Mr. Bright; At first, only the moon (Mr.
Shine) will be on the screen. His main attack is rolling around on the
middle of the screen, smashing into the paddles and the star blocks.
Once you beat him, the sun will appear. Its attack is blowing up 3
fireballs and shooting them at you. Knock him out and advance to the
next level!

          Stage 6
Info: This icy level introduces the Crash item.
Boss: Mr. Frosty; He's a pain, because whenever you hit him
while he is standing still, he'll pick up the ball and hurl it randomly
at one of the rows of spikes. The only way to defeat him is when he is
rolling. Beat him to advance!

          Stage 7
Info: This level introduces the Needle ability.
Boss: Kracko; Kracko uses his signature lightning bolts to
attack your paddles. Don't worry, he's as easy as any other boss is!

          Stage 8
Info: Level 8 introduces the Fireball ability.
Boss: Wispy Woods; The pathetically easy boss of this level
spits clouds and drops spikes on you to attack. Just hit him in the
nose, like you usually do.

          Stage 9
Info: Here is where the Changer item is introduced. It
makes Kirby cycle through the four abilities (Spark, Fireball, Stone,
and Needle). Hit B when Kirby performs the ability you want and Kirby
gains that ability.
Boss: Giant Balloon; Its only attack is to shoot bullets
out on his side. Hit him like normal, and he explodes. No big deal to
beat!

          Stage 10
Info: This level introduces nothing new; it has the same
stuff as the previous levels.
Boss: Robot; It attacks by throwing its hands at you. It's
kind of hard to hit due to the platforms it stands on, but like every
boss, it's just a cinch to defeat otherwise.

          Stage 11
Info: Level 11 is the final level of the game, which you
can only open up by beating all of the Border Line scores listed below.
Boss: King DeDeDe; DeDeDe can take more punishment than the
other bosses. He has three phases. The first phase is that he spins
around and throws bombs at the bottom paddle. The second phase is that
he puffs up and whenever he gets hit from below, will swallow the ball
and spit it right back down. The final phase is that he hops around and
shoots rockets at all four paddles. Beat him like normal to gain 100,000 points
and see the rather disappointing ending.

King DeDeDe's Stage. Also, finished levels with the Border Line score passed
will have a flag above that stage on the map screen.)

Warp Stars and the Bonus Levels

In almost every stage, there is a hidden warp star which
takes you to the bonus level area. There, you can pick 1 of the 4 bonus
challenges to try, including Up Cloud, Up Down, Air Hockey, and Star
Catcher. If you wish to play any of the bonus levels without having to paly and
find a warp star, you must get a high number of points in Level 11 (King
DeDeDe's stage), then you can press B while the cursor is over Stage 11 to fly
over to the Bonus Games!

Game Boy! This time the game is Pinball, and Kirby will have to face
King DeDeDe and his bosses who guard the three Pinball Lands. In order
to defeat King DeDeDe and his three bosses, Kirby becomes a pinball.
This allows him to fight effectively in the Pinball Lands -- each a
magical land with all kinds of tricks and bonuses! How high can you
score? Can Kirby defeat King DeDeDe again? Let's find out! Okay Kirby,
turn into a pinball and get ready for a wacky pinball battle!

    A3: Stage/Boss Info

In this section of the guide, I'll give info on each of the
levels in no particular order, including what could/must be done on
each part of the stage, as well as info on beating the bosses.

*** Pinball Land 1: Whispy Woods Land ***

            Bottom Floor

Every time Kirby hits the Kabus on the ceiling, they
explode. Once all the Kabus explode, the Kabu standing on the disk will
also explode. Bounce Kirby into the disk and shoot him in any
direction. Every time Kirby hits Mumbies, a letter in the word "Warp
Star" will light up. Once all the letters have been illuminated,
Mumbies will turn into a Warp Star! Bounce Kirby into the star and exit
the pinball land.

            Middle Floor

When Kirby hits the large Kirby, the slot machine will
start. When 3 pictures match, you will get something special.

            Top Floor

To meet the boss, you must hop on the warp star next to
Sir Slippy. To make the star appear, hit the three Cappies twice.

            Boss: Whispy Woods

Try making Kirby hit Whispy Woods in the face. If you
don't panic, you won't have any problems at all.

                         *** Pinball Land 2: Kracko Land ***

            Bottom Floor

Hit the Bumping Boos four times to make a Warp Star
appear. Hit Scarfy 6 times and he'll split into 3 Scarfies! Hit the top
one and go up to the middle floor.

            Middle Floor

Hit Nimbus three times to make him angry. When he's
angry, hop on the big Kirby's parasol and go up to the top floor.

            Top Floor

Hit Mr. Bright three times and Mr. Shine will appear. Hit
Mr. Shine 3 times to make the Warp Star leading to the boss appear!

            Boss: Kracko

Kracko will start off as a spinning eye. Hit him when you
get the chance. After a while, Kracko will grow a cloud of his own. Hit
him while avoiding the Babut he throws at you.

*** Pinball Land 3: Poppy Bros. Land ***

            Bottom Floor

Hit Chilly 8 times to make the Warp Star appear. Hit Mr.
Frosty six times to make him catch you. Shoot yourself upward to the
next floor.

            Middle Floor

Hit the stuffed Kirby to make him spit out a Squishy when
it appears in the Kirby's thought bubble. Hit the Squishy and go up to
the top floor.

            Top Floor

Hit each egg four times to make a chick hatch. Make 3
chicks hatch to make 3 items appear. Hit the Warp Star to reach the
boss.

            Boss: Poppy Bros.

This boss's main attack is throwing bombs into the
flippers, disabling them for a short period of time. Hit the Poppy
Brother a few times and he'll split into two. Hit each of the brothers
a few times to defeat them.

*** Final Stage: King Dedede Land ***

            Boss: King Dedede (obviously!)

This final boss has three phases. First, he'll throw
bombs into the flippers. Hit him enough times and he'll puff up into a
flying penguin. Hit him enough times and he'll start shooting lightning
at the flippers. Hit him a few more times to see the ending of the
game!

    A1: Story

Light years away, on a tiny star not visible from Earth, is
the magical, peaceful place known as Dream Land. The beings that
inhabit this wondrous world live in a blissful existence that centers
on eating, sleeping and playing. An example of their carefree customs
includes the traditional after-lunch feast nap. After they awaken from
their nap, the Dream Landers discuss their dreams and fervently hope
that each other's fondest wishes come true.

One day, a young Dream Lander named Kirby awoke from his
after-lunch nap feeling terrible. "What happened?" he wondered to
himself. "I didn't have any dreams during my lunch nap!" This lack of
dreams left Kirby feeling very uneasy. After talking to some of his
friends, he found that the problem was much more serious than he had
thought, for they had not experienced any dreams either! "Something
must have happened to the Dream Spring!" they exclaimed in unison.

The Dream Spring is a magical well that is a reservoir for
all the dreams of the inhabitants of Dream Land. Dreams also flow out
of the Dream Spring and envelop Dream Land, granting all sleeping
beings enjoyable dreams.

Legends told that the Dream Spring was created by a magical
artifact known as the Star Rod. The sparkling star on the tip of this
scepter was an actual fragment of a star that had landed in Dream Land
in the distant past. The Star Rod now provided energy to the Dream
Spring and served as the very symbol of Dream Land.

The lack of dreams made everyone in Dream Land feel restless
and irritable. The joyful laughter that had once resounded throughout
Dream Land could no longer be heard at all. Things were bleak. Kirby,
the roly-poly hero of DreamLand, boldly announced his intention to
investigate the Dream Spring and find the cause of all the trouble.

Upon reaching the Dream Spring, who did he find but King
DeDeDe, bathing in its magical waters! In the past King DeDeDe had
caused mischief in Dream Land by stealing all the Dream Landers' food
and Sparkling Stars. Now, in the middle of the Dream Spring, in place
of the Star Rod, sat DeDeDe, covered with bubble bath.

"So, you're up to your old tricks again, eh, DeDeDe?!"
accused Kirby.

"What are you talking about, young pudge ball?" DeDeDe looked
surprised. "I thought I'd do everyone a favor by..."

"No, no no!" Kirby shook his head. "I won't listen to your
tricks! What have you done with the Star Rod?!"

"Oh, that old thing," DeDeDe said nonchalantly. "I broke it
into seven pieces and gave each piece to one of my friends..."

"What was DeDeDe thinking?!" Kirby wondered. Before hearing
any more of what DeDeDe had to say, Kirby set off on the long trek to
gather the pieces of the Star Rod and return them to the Dream Spring.
Hopefully, he could return the sparkly to the Dream Spring so that the
people of Dream Land could again enjoy their happy midday naps.

          Start: pause game

          A: jump and swim
          B: inhale or spit out

Down: duck, swallow, and slide (Down + A or B)
Left and Right: walk (to run, press Left or Right twice!)

    A3: Abilities

In Kirby's Adventure, there are MANY abilities found
throughout the game! Here, I'll list them all, as well as what they do.

Back Drop: When you have this ability, Kirby will inhale more
powerfully. When he inhales an enemy, he'll grab it and defeat it when
you press any direction on the Control Pad.

          Ball: Press B to turn into a rubber ball! Press A to bounce;
the longer you hold A, the higher you bounce.

Beam: Kirby attacks by using a beam "whip" and swinging it
from the air to the ground. It has pretty good attacking range.

Crash: This ability can only be used once. When used, Kirby
jumps into the air and many other Kirbys dart around the screen, then
defeats every enemy onscreen. It helps if you have it when fighting a
boss!

Cutter: Kirby throws a cutter, which flies straight ahead
spinning, then returns in the same direction it came. It doesn't come
directly back to you, though.

Fire: With this ability, Kirby shoots fireballs straight
ahead at a very rapid pace.

Fireball: Kirby shoots forward quickly as a fireball
destroying any enemies in his path!

Freeze: A sheet of ice balls surround Kirby. You can't move
while using this ability, though. When you hit an enemy, it'll turn
into an ice cube, which you can just walk into to kick it ahead.

Hammer: This is one of the best and most powerful abilities
in the game! When used, Kirby crushes whatever's in front of him with
his hammer. When he jumps and uses it, he spins the hammer around him
once before he lands.

Hi-Jump: When used, Kirby jumps to the top of the screen
destroying anything in his path. You can use the Control Pad to control
what direction he jumps in.

Ice: When you use this ability, Kirby shoots out ice balls,
which can turn an enemy into an ice cube on contact. It's the same move
as the Fire ability, you're just shooting ice instead!

Laser: Kirby shoots a thin laser straight ahead and destroys
almost anything it hits! When you shoot it at a sloped corner, it'll
bounce and shoot in another direction.

Light: This is another ability that can only be used once,
then it disappears. When it's used, Kirby throws something into the air
and the entire room becomes lighted. It should only be used in dark
rooms; anywhere else, it'll have no effect.

Mike: This ability can only be used three times. When used,
it instantly defeats all normal enemies, and causes some damage to
bosses. The 3 microphone attacks are different in what Kirby does. For
the first attack, Kirby spits out a megaphone. Next attack, he spits
out a microphone. Last, he spits out a microphone on a stand, then
jumps on it and sings into the mike to defeat enemies!

Needle: Spikes come out of Kirby's back when this ability is
used. Hold the B button to make the spikes last longer. Unfortunately,
you can't move while using this ability.

Parasol: Kirby wields an umbrella with this ability. He
swings it in front of him to hit anything close by. When you jump,
you'll float to the ground with the parasol! It also protects you from
attacks from above.

Sleep: When you use this one-use ability, Kirby falls asleep.
During that time, he is vulnerable to all attacks. After a few seconds,
he'll wake up and the ability will disappear.

Spark: Sparks come flying out of an electrically-charged
Kirby! It doesn't have great range, but it can defeat any incoming
enemies before they get near you!

Stone: Another self-explanatory ability. Kirby turns into a
stone and crushes whatever's below him.

Sword: Kirby swings the sword very quickly in front of him,
then swings it around behind him to end the move. When you use it in
the air, Kirby and the sword spin, defeating any enemies that may hit
in any direction!

Throw: With this ability, whenever Kirby inhales an enemy, he
grabs it. Then, he throws it just like a star, destroying things in its
path. You can also pick the angle of the throw by using the Control
Pad.

Tornado: Kirby turns into a tornado with this ability (duh!).
You can control what direction Kirby goes in with the Control Pad.

U.F.O: When you get this ability, Kirby automatically turns
into a UFO! You have 4 different levels of attacks with this ability as
well. When you tap the B button, he'll shoot a beam like the Beam
ability. When you hold B and release quickly, he'll shoot a laser like
the Laser ability. If you charge up for a second, he'll shoot a star
ahead. If you hold B for a while longer and release, Kirby will shoot a
more powerful star, which you can use to break certain walls.

Wheel: When this ability is activated, Kirby turns into an
unstoppable wheel! You can move very fast across the ground with it,
and you don't stop until you hit a wall, land on spikes, or fall down a
pit. You can deactivate this move by pressing B again.

    A4: Walkthrough

This section will explain how to get a full 100% by hitting
all the switches in the levels and opening up all the areas of each
world.

World 3, Level 1: in the 4th room, go all the way to the right and
enter the door there. In that room, drop down the pit to the right and destroy
the blocks blocking you, then enter the door. Destroy the Bomb Block and then
enter the door above you and press the switch.

World 3, Level 6: in the 5th room, go up until you see 4
blocks to the side. Destroy the blocks with your air-puff attack, and
then enter the door. Destroy the Bomb Block, then get across the room
as quickly as possible, then enter the door and push the switch in the
next room.

World 4, Level 1: in the 4th room, go all the way right until
you reach a "wall" of blocks that you must destroy or inhale to get
past. Near the end of this block barricade, you'll see a block bordered
with a black line, and go to THAT block and destroy it. Fly to the
position where the block was and press Up to enter a hidden door, then
push the switch.

World 4, Level 3: in the 2nd room, go as far as you can until
you reach a door suspended in mid-air. Enter that room and push the
switch.

World 4, Level 6: in the 4th room, it'll be dark there, so go
as far right as you can until you reach a Light enemy. Inhale it and
take its ability, then use it to brighten up the room a bit! Now that
there's light, backtrack towards the beginning of the room and you'll
find a door you didn't see before. Enter that door and push the switch.

World 5, Level 1: in the 2nd room, drop down as far as you
POSSIBLY can go until you reach a "thicker" section of blocks. Go to
the left side of that platform and destroy the blocks on that side
until you reveal a door. Enter that room and push the switch that's
underwater!

World 5, Level 4: in the 3rd room, about halfway through
you'll see a hidden door concealed in the waterfall. Enter that room
and then enter the FIRST door that you see in that room and push the
switch.

World 5, Level 5: in the very 1st room, get through it until
you're able to go down. Go down, then go left and enter the door on a
ledge. Take the Hi-Jump ability, then destroy all the blocks. Then get
the Fire ability and light the fuse, then fly up the gap you just
opened from the blocks and jump into the cannon. The cannon will launch
you into a new room, so just push the switch there.

World 5, Level 6: Before you try and go for the switch here, I suggest
you get the Hammer ability from the Arena in this world. When you have it, go to
the 3rd room and enter the first door you come across on an island. Then, go on
top of the small platform in the middle of the room and destroy the green blocks
with the hammer. Destroy all the other blocks to reveal another door. Enter that
room and push the switch.

World 6, Level 1: I suggest that you have the Stone ability
before you attempt to hit the switch in this level! When you get it, go
to the 2nd room and enter the first door that you see. Use the Stone
ability to destroy the odd block in middle of the room, then enter the
door and push the switch.

World 6, Level 2: As for the last level, I strongly advise that you
have the Stone or Hammer abilities before coming to this level! When you have
either one, get to the 2nd room and find the FIRST door there and enter it.
Pound down the stake there with your hammer or with the Stone ability, and then
enter that new room and hit the switch.

World 6, Level 3: In the 2nd room, defeat the Hammer mini-boss and
then take its ability after you defeat it and go up the ladder. Destroy the
crate in the wall to the right, then drop down into the passageway, then when
you land, go left. Destroy the Bomb Block and then go where the block was and
push up. Enter the hidden room and enter the door above it and you'll end up in
a room with a cannon. Inhale the Fire enemy, and then get about halfway under
the right platform. (In the water.) Swallow the enemy so the fire shoots out of
your mouth underwater and lights the fuse, and then quickly swim into the
cannon. When you reach the new area, hit the switch.

World 6, Level 4: In the 2nd room, destroy all the Bomb Blocks in your
way and get down to the big body of water at the bottom of the room. Swim right
until you see a bunch of ladders and a broom enemy. Get onto the platform there
and walk across it, then jump into the water on the other side. There, you'll
see an indent in the wall, so go as far in the indent as possible, then at the
end, push up to enter a hidden room. All you do there is hit the switch.

World 6, Level 5: In the 4th room, get the Fire ability from the enemy
near the entrance to that room, then destroy the two Bomb Blocks blocking the
way downward. Drop down there and light the fuse with the firepower, and then
make your way to the 2nd hole further right with the cannon before it blows up!
If you miss it exit the room the way you entered it and try again, but if you
did make it, just hit the switch in the room.

World 6, Level 6: In the 1st room, go right and enter the next room.
Inhale and swallow a U.F.O enemy to obtain its powers, then get back into the
previous room through the door. Fly downward and left and then charge up your
attack by holding B. Shoot the beam to destroy the ice blocks blocking the door,
then enter it and hit the switch.

World 7, Level 1: In the 1st room, get the Sword ability, then enter
the 2nd room. Get through the room until you reach 3 Waddle Dees. Defeat them,
then destroy all the blocks you can above you. Release the ability, then take
the Fireball ability, and then destroy the wall near where you destroyed the
blocks, then enter the door and hit the switch.

World 7, Level 6: This level is just like the original levels
from Kirby's Dream Land for Game Boy. When you reach the last scene,
which you'll know if you've played KDL, get to the very top of the room
and instead of entering the room, fly up to the moon. Push up right on
it to enter a hidden room and drop down to the bottom and hit the
switch.

around and fall off things. Stone power.

Scarfy: This is that one tomato guy. If you try to inhale him, he will
get mad. Just hit him with a simple air pellet. No powers.

Shelled Kany: He just walks around with a shell on him. No powers.

Shiny Knight: This guy's the same as Blade Knight, except for the
looks. Sword power.

Shotzo: This non-living creature is shaped just like a cannon. He will
shoot cannonballs, and he will give you damage if you touch him.

Sir Kibble: He's a tough enemy who is the master of the sword. Cutter
power.

Sir Pengy: He will slide after you and try to freeze you with his cold
breath. Ice power.

Sir Slippy: He's a cute little frog who can be found in watery stages.
He can't drown when he's underwater. No powers.

Sleepy: If it were one of the seven dwarves, it would be Sleepy. This
cutie walks around and falls asleep. Sleep power.

Sparky: This green blob will hop around and throw electricity around
him. Spark power.

Squishy: Squishy is really annoying, expect him to leap around, or
possibly fly. No powers.

Togezo: He will walk around, but when he sees you, he will curl up
into a little ball and roll to attack. Needle power.

Waddle Dee: This guy is really easy; all he can do is walk and jump
around. He sometimes carries Parasol power.

Waddle Doo: This guy has beams that can paralyze anything. Beam power.

Wheelie: Wheelie crashes into you at high speeds. Wheel power.

Whirlwind: He spins in one place, then spins into an indestructible
tornado. Tornado power.

    A6: Mini-Bosses

          Mr. Frosty
          Ability Obtained: Freeze
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: This big walrus likes to make ice cubes and throw them at
you, then charge all the way across the room and repeat. Suck in his ice cubes
and nail him with them.

          Clock Work
          Ability Obtained: Mike
Hits: 2 with Stone ability or 3 without abilities
Strategy: This guy likes to charge at you and throw deadly musical
notes. Suck in the musical notes and spit them back at him and he'll eventually
face the music.

          Bugzey
          Ability Obtained: Back Drop
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: This guy is very agressive. Look out for him when he
charges, because he'll catch you in a body slam. When he releases smaller bugs,
suck them up and spew them back at him.

          Shelatoss
          Ability Obtained: Throw
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: This guy is pretty easy. All you have to do is stay away
from him. Stay against the wall and run when he jumps at you. After he touches
the wall, run to the opposite wall. Inhale the tiny turtle he throws out and
spit it back at him.

          Bonkers
          Ability Obtained: Hammer
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: When he slams the ground with his hammer, a star will fly
out. Inhale and spit the star at him. He'll also throw coconuts at you. Do the
same with those.

          Flame Mane
          Ability Obtained: Fireball
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: This dude isn't too tough. Just avoid his attacks and you'll
do fine. When he jumps into the air, slide out of the way and inhale the star
that appears when he lands. Spit it back at him. When he turns into a fireball
and jets at you, jump!

          Wheelie
          Ability Obtained: Wheel
          Hits: 3 without abilities
Strategy: This guy is pretty easy to beat. Just dodge him when he
rolls back and forth, and suck in the little Wheelies he throws at you. Spit
them back out after he's done jumping to ensure a hit.

    A7: Bosses

          Wispy Woods (World 1 Boss)
Hits: 6 if not using abilities
Strategy: The easiest boss in all of Kirby. Basically,
inhale the apples and shoot them at him, watching for the wind. Try
inhaling two at the same time and shooting them at him :-).

          Paint Roller (World 2 Boss)
Hits: 6 if not using abilities
Strategy: To beat this guy, inhale the paintings he makes
and shoot them back at him. What most people don't know is some of this
guy's paintings give you abilities. Here's a list of the ones I've
seen:
            Car - Wheel ability
            Bomb - Crash ability
            Nose w/sparks - Spark ability
            Chair-type thing - Mike ability
            Ball - Ball ability
            Umbrella Parasol ability

Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright (World 3 Bosses)
Hits: 3 each if not using abilities
Strategy: The way this works is one will battle you while
one stays in the sky, then they'll reverse. To defeat the Sun-type guy,
inhale the "meteors" from the sky and shoot them back at him. Or,
absorb one to get the Laser ability. To defeat the Moon-type guy,
inhale the "solar stars" from the sun's rays, and shoot them back at
him. If you inhale one, you get the Fireball ability. For fun, absorb
two (very easy to do) to get Mix to try to get a good ability (I've
gotten Crash and Hammer before). Easy.

          Kracko (World 4 Boss)
Hits: 6 without using abilities; 8 w/Hi-Jump ability
Strategy: Normally, to defeat this guy, people inhale the
Waddle Doos and shoot them back at him. A more effective way is to use
the Hi Jump to attack him. There are a few swoops to the ledge and
electric assaults, but it isn't too bad. Easy too.

          Heavy Mole (World 5 Boss)
Hits: 6 without abilities or with Hammer ability
Strategy: You will need to keep up with him and his tunnel
to survive. Inhale the little guys he shoots off and shoot them at him.
For better fun, absorb the YELLOW ones of those little guys to get the
Hammer ability, as effective as star hits. DON'T absorb the RED ones,
they'll put you to SLEEP, probably killing you.

          Meta Knight (World 6 Boss)
Hits: about 12 with Sword ability
Strategy: You must defeat him with the Sword ability, so
you must be aggressive. You will need to memorize his attacks and
figure out good times to slash him to pieces. This is one of the
hardest battles.

          King DeDeDe (World 7 Boss)
            Hits: 8-10 without using abilities
Strategy: He's back! After defeating him in other games,
he's returned. He can copy Kirby's inhaling, Hi Jump, Hammer, and
sliding attacks. When he uses Hi Jump or the Hammer, 1 or 2 stars can
be inhaled and shot back at him. Also watch out when he does his
floating attack. After defeating him, the game is over, or is it?

Nightmare Form #1 (World 8 Boss)
Hits: a LOT with the Star Rod
Strategy: Nightmare's first form is as a sphere that shoots
stars at you. You must rapidly shoot your stars at him. You are timed
here, because if you don't hurry up and beat him, you'll get smashed
between the top of the screen and the ground. If you defeat him, jump
in the star to find...

          Nightmare Form #2 (Final Boss)
Hits: 6 when shooting with the Star Rod or a lot more by
spin jumping with the Star Rod
Strategy: The vampire form is quite easier than the sphere
form. When his tornado part is showing, either jump and hit him with
the actual Star Rod (doing little damage) or shoot a star at it (the
major damage). Every sequence, there is about 3-4 chances to hit him.
Defeat him and peace and order will be restored to Dream Land!

    A8: Bonus Games

As you clear the worlds in Kirby's Adventure, there are rooms
that are revealed that if you enter them, you can play a bonus game.
There are 3 different bonus games, and I'm going to give details about
them below.

Crane Fever - In this bonus game, there is a couple of pink
Kirby dolls thrown into a crane machine. There's a small doll and a
large doll. You have 2 chances to move the crane by holding the A
button, then releasing it to lower the crane. If you grab a small Kirby
doll, you get a 1up; if you get a large Kirby doll, you'll get a 2up!

Egg Catcher - In this game, King DeDeDe throws eggs and bombs
at Kirby. Your job is to catch all the eggs he throws in your mouth
while closing your mouth when a bomb comes. Open Kirby's mouth by
holding A; close his mouth by releasing A. If you swallow a bomb, the
bonus game is automatically over and you don't get anything. If you can
last without eating bombs, you'll get lots of bonus points, even some
extra lives depending on how many eggs you swallowed.

Quick Draw Kirby - In this game, Kirby and another character
from the game have a shootout in the desert. You'll see the word
"Ready" on the screen; the moment it says "Fire!" press the A button to
shoot the opponent. If you're quick enough, you'll shoot out the
opponent and go against the next enemy. If you press A before you're
supposed to, you'll get a strike. If you get 2 strikes, you're out and
the bonus game ends. You get a bunch of bonus points and even an extra
life depending on how any opponents you shoot out.

    A9: Rankings

As you complete parts of Kirby's Adventure, you are given a
ranking, which you see on the file select screen next to your file.
Here, I'll list what ranking you get for beating what percentage of the
game. (I don't know what you have to do to get higher percentages; all
I can say is play through the game and it'll increase!)

          0% - Start
          1-9% - Water Drop
          10-19% - Son of Wind
          20-29% - Li'l Traveler
          30-39% - Swift Hunter
          40-49% - Star Herald
          50-59% - Dream Hunter
          60-69% - Dream Warrior
          70-79% - Star General
          80-89% - Great Ace
          90-99% - Final Star
100% - Hero of Lore/Super Star (To get the Super Star rank, you must
complete the Extra Game)

    A10: Secrets

          Extra Game

To access the much more difficult Extra Game, which is the same as
the regular game, but you only have 3 bars on your life meter and you're unable
to save, you must beat the regular game with a 100% ranking.

          Sound Test

In order to open up the sound test in Kirby's Adventure, you must
complete the Extra Game (I'm unsure of if you must complete it 100%, though).

    A11: Game Genie Codes

          1. Start with 2 lives: PEVXIYGA

          2. Start with 9 lives: AEVXIYGE

          3. Start with 17 lives: AOVXIYGA

          4. Less energy from 'pep drinks': ZAKLLXAA

          5. More energy from 'pep drinks': APKLLXAA

          6. Full energy from 'pep drinks': YZKLLXAE

          7. Start with less energy YONZZNYX

          8. Start with more energy: YKNZZNYX

          9. Infinite energy: SZEPSVSE
