=i. Introduction & Version History=
=---------------------------------=
I have decided to write it on Crash Team Racing (CTR) on the playstation.
In my opinion I think CTR is better than Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing.
However, I also think that Naughty Dog Copied Diddy Kong Racing in about every
single way, but CTR has more features. Some of the same qualities CTR has with
DKR are:

1.) The Name of the Game (Diddy Kong Racing) (Crash Team Racing)
2.) Adventure Mode (DKR has adventure mode as well)
3.) Gamplay (The levels and the Adventure are similar in mostly EVERY
    way.

The Features I think are better in CTR are: That in the Relic Races you can earn
3 different Relics; Sapphire, Gold, and Platinum. Also there are more modes of
play in CTR than in DKR. (Such as Arcade.) Overall, it's a very nice game and
worth a try for Crash fans as well as racing fans.

=I. About Crash Bandicoot=
=------------------------=
It all started with Crash Bandicoot 1 and after followed the sequal Crash
Bandicoot 2, and just recently Crash Bandicoot: Warped (3) was released, which
is an EXCELLENT game. And remember all of the characters in the game, well now
you can choose from all of them. Except this time you are racing. This really
surprised me when I first found out about the game because it went from platform
to racing in a period of months. But all of the Crash Bandicoot games are GREAT.
CTR gives a great challenge to anyone. The bosses are tough, but not impossible
to defeat, and you can choose from 8 different characters from the Crash
Bandicoot series. There are 25 fun-filled tracks to race on, and many different
types of gameplay. So now that you know about the game, lets go on to the
story...

*******************************************************************************

=--------------------=
=II. The Story of CTR=
=--------------------=
Here is the story from the manual of the game:
Crash Bandicoot's "take it easy" island life is about to get cramped. Crash's
newest nemesis, a crabby alien named Nitros Oxide, just flew into this part of
the galaxy looking for trouble.

This cranky space invader thinks he's the fastest racer in the entire universe
and has challenged the best driver of Crash's world to a race for the planet.
Worst of all, if Oxide wins, he promises to turn the entire world into a
concrete parking lot!

It's obvious that Oxide isn't playing with a full crate of Wumpa Fruit. Even
past villan Dr. Neo Cortex has taken Crash's side as an unlikely ally. Things
must be really desperate.

All of Crash's friends, and even a few of his past foes, think they are the
fastest drivers in the world, and should be the hero racers to face Oxide and
save the planet. But Oxide is a world-class speedster. So who will be his
toughest competition?

Get ready to jump into a kart adventure where the stakes are high and the
competition fierce. Race like crazy and sharpen your reflexes as you prepare to
face Oxide for the fate of Crash's world!

=--------------=
=IV. Characters=
=--------------=
Here are the Characters and a description from the manual:

Crash Bandicoot
---------------
Crash is quite a hero and he's had plenty of practice beating bad guys. Crah's
kart is a good all-round racer with an exellent balance of acceleration, top
speed and handling.

Dr. Neo Cortex
--------------
Crash's former arch-enemy, evil Dr. Cortex wants to stop Oxide as much as
anyone. Cortex is quite upset. "Who does this Oxide think he is? I was here
first! It's MY world to conquer!" The Cortex kart is a good all-round performer
like the Crash kart.

Coco Bandicoot
--------------
Crash's smart kid sister and all round computer genius, Coco has really taken to
racing. She's put in some computer chips to speed up her kart's acceleration.
Coco's ride gets off the line faster than other karts like any good sprint kart
should.

Dr. N. Gin
----------
N. Gin is a mechanical genius. This brain-drained rocket scientist added a few
custom parts to make his kart accelerate fast, just like Coco's.

Pura (Tiger)
------------
Pura likes agility, so his kart handles better than others. He's lost a bit of
speed from this, but boy can his kart take those tight corners!

Polar (Bear)
------------
Polar's kart handles betten than other karts just like Pura's. He can really
navigate around tricky corridors and cruise through big hair-pin turns.

Tiny
----
Nasty Ole' Tiny may seem big, but in his kart, he's the fastest thing going.
Tiny's kart is built for top speed, but it's a little loose in the turns.

Dingodile
---------
Another believer in top speed, Dingodile's kart may take a corner kind of wide,
but in the straightaway he rules the barnyard.

Nitros Oxide
------------
N. Oxide is the galaxy's champion kart racer. Whoever wins the main competition
must really burn rubber in the tough final race to beat him, and stop his wacky
plan of turning the whole planet into a concrete parking lot.

=VI. Weapons & Powerups=
=----------------------=
Coming soon...

*******************************************************************************

=----------------------=
=VII. Types of Gameplay=
=----------------------=

Adventure
---------
In this mode, it is you against the computer racers. Your goal is to race
through the courses and collect Relics, Trophies, Gems, and CTR Tokens.

Time Trial
----------
A one player game where you race against the clock in any course you choose.
There are no power-ups or other racers in this mode. It's just you against the
clock!

Arcade
------
This can be a 1-4 player game, where if you are in a hurry, you can choose any
course you want for 3,5, or 7 laps of fun. You can also choose from Single or
Cup mode in Arcade. Single is just a simple race, while Cup is where you race on
4 courses and earn points by what place you come in, and the the person with the
most points wins a trophy.

Battle
------
Like in DKR and Mario Kart 64, this is where 2-4 players use power-ups and
battle it out to see who comes out the victor.

Versus
------
This is the same as Arcade except you must have at least 2 players, and you race
to see who wins.

=X. CTR Challenge=
=----------------=
(thanks to NKelly665 yet again...)

Crash Cove
C
Jump off the pirate ship near the end.

T
ARGH! Get T by taking a HUGE water jump to the bridge.
Now, get T. I was in 8th when doing this, but it was only Lap 2-3.

R
At start, go down the right most path. Then, turn hard to the left to gather
the R.

Roo's Tubes
C
At the first ramp. JUMP.

T
At the end, jump to the left to the soil to get T.

R
At the 2nd jump, JUMP. A really big jump is not needed.

Coco Park
C
At the beginning, get to the left block and get C, then turn.

T
After the only tunnel, turn right to get T.

R
On a grass hill, JUMP to get R.

Tiger Temple
C
Jump from the 2nd ramp to get C.

T
Turn onto the grass and drive to T.

R
Get a bomb, Mask, Rocket, Shield, or Potion and open a set of BIG teeth to find
R.

Mystery Caves
At the start, when you get to the 1st of 5 groups of turtles, jump on any turtle
with it's back up to nab R. Then, at the 2nd lava ball-speed grid jump, jump to the
right for C, and turn back onto the track. And at the final weaponry crate group,
hit the 1st box to get T.

Sewer Speedway
On the first fork, take the right tunnel and at the grids, jump to the right for T.
Next, enter the sewer tunnel and about 2/3 of the way through, drive up the left side
to get the R. Now, At the final set of speed pads, jump with a high power to nab C.

Papu's Pyramid
At the severe turn, go and jump between the 2 pillars with an Aku Aku/Uka Uka or Turbo
to get C. Now, take the turn back on the track, and hit the turbo to get enough height
to jump to a side path. At the end there lies T. And at the ramp, severly turn right at
the wall to the right to get R(don't fall off the wall.)

Dingo Canyon
At the start, get the C in front of the block and turn on the track. Then, at the fork,
take the left and drive to where they reconverge(don't ask me what THIS word means.)At
this point, turn hard to the right to grab T. And at the end, jump to the right to nab R,
and turn left, or else you'll fall off.

Blizzard Bluff
At the start, near the 1st jump, turn onto the right snowy path and jump slightly to
nab T. Then, after the 1st ice pad, jump off and turn hard to the left to grab R. And
at the end, on the right of the final ice pad, turn right HARD to get C, and turn back
onto the track QUICKLY.

Dragon Mines
Coming Soon...

Polar Pass
At the first fork(no, the 2nd)in the road, drive to the center to get C, and then move on.
Now, at the pair o' speed pads, jump to the right on the 2nd to get R. And at the
final LONG jump, get T which is right at the ramp.

Tiny Arena
Coming Soon...

N. Gin Labs
Coming Soon...

Hot Air Skyway
At the tube turn, turn to the right to get C. Now, at the fork jump, go to the right
to get R, and at the final jump, go to the right to get T.

Oxide Station
At the 1st jump, C is right in the middle, so get it. At the BIG JUMP, go high to
get T. And at the big jump, make the best jump EVER to get R.
