I.INTRODUCTION
--------------
Rogue Trip is another car combat game from the makers of Twisted Metal 1 & 2,
Singletrac. This game is somewhat better than TW 1&2, but it is still pretty
mediocre and easy in some areas. It is really a blast to play, though, and I
recommend it for a rental. This guide is a hints and tips forum, and a short
one, at that! This is my first FAQ, and I'll try as hard as I can to make it a
good one.

SMALL NOTE: Though there will definitely be version numbers for this FAQ, I
don't intend to do a little "Revisions" box for this, because this is simple
enough an FAQ that it doesn't really seem to need it. If anyone has a problem
with thiswell, poo poo to you! :)

II.E-MAIL POLICY
----------------
E-mail me only when it really matters, folks. Any question about how to play the
game will be immediately deleted, especially if they are already covered in this
FAQ. Do not e-mail me with spam, advertisements, porn, flames, or anything that
is subjective to being a complete and total idiot. If you do, there is a high
possibility that I will ignore you completely and block your address. Do e-mail
me with question about the FAQ, additions to the FAQ, and anything that you deem
totally important.

III.REVIEW (by me)
--------------
Rogue Trip is kind of a good game, kind of a downright terrible one. It's pretty
hard to review because it differs so much from moment to moment and from person
to person to really judge. This is just my opinion ^_^

The graphics are, umm...interesting. The character designs are good, but not
exactly praise-worthy. The menus and stuff are nicely designed, if a bit overly
done at times. The special effects, as with everything else, are cartoony, and
one can tell that not too much time was spent designing things. The cartoony
vehicles are extremely under-detailed and are somewhat stoic after the first
couple of times looking at them. The environments are the same way, except only
about half as good with cheap, no-frills 2D-ish, Tomb Raider-like walls, etc.
Pixelation and fuzziness is also an issue when you come close to things, and
then you also get to see how badly they were designed. The CGs are rather cheap,
as well, and are short and rather dull. The special effects in these are few and
far between, though somewhat decent. Overall, there is nothing wowing about the
graphics, just like there's just nothing wowing about anything in the rest of
the game.

The sound and music are really dull and drab. The voice acting is either half-
hearted or over-acted, and, as one would expect, cliched with ''cool'' lines
that Singletrac put there solely for the sake of marketing. The music is...OK.
It's corny and cheesy, but you can sense some high production values here and
there, and the one or two pro bands they have on there provide one or two songs
each. Everything else is so drab as to be almost entirely unnoticeable.

The controls are tight and responsive, but they're just plain annoying. The
simple button setup itself seems to do this, and it's just plain bad sometimes.
The complicated button configurations also makes for some finger stretching,
though pretty non-frequent.

The single-player game (and multiplayer, even though it's just the same as
single player) saves this game. The fun is great, and the enemy AI seems to be
pretty competent.

Overall, this game is only for a select few people. Rent first.

All right, folks, here we go

*****************************************************************************
IV.*LEVEL SECRETS*
--------------
|XLAX AIRPORT|
--------------
-A kind of futuristic airport, with lots of airplanes that shoot out of hanger
along the sides of it. There are lots of good roofs to jump up on, and there are
a couple of refilling stations along the side to wow all of you. There are also
a couple of random trucks that stay around the ends of the roads that you could
blow up, too. This is a great level to try out all the cheats in because it is
the introductory level in the game, and therefore is the user-friendliest of
them all.
-Blast the planes in this stage to get cash! You receive $2,000 with a passenger
on board, only $1,000 without on 'em.
-Shoot the tanker trucks in the main area of this stage to get $600 smackers
with one of the little scrubs (passengers) aboard, some amount less (?) without.
-Shoot the control tower to get an amazing amount of cash that showers down upon
ya. Hit the debris from it to get some interesting little trinkets in the form
of lots of cash and powerups, as well.
-There are four small jet terminals in the middle part of the level, where you
should drive down from the start of the stage to get to those jets, and you will
see three or four sets of four or five terminals each. Take the one in the very
middle of them and you'll get some powerups. All the other terminals allow to
access the fairly complicated roof system of the stage, where there are a just a
whole $#%$#ing bunch of stuff like cash and powerups. It's also a really cool
place to fight eacother because the one that you fight and looses can be pushed
off the roof for dramatic effect.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DADDYWOOD
---------
Not my favorite level because it's really #@$#@ing cramped, dude! It's kind of a
green level, with little arches for you to go through on the sides of stuff.

-Two gates are located just in front of the mansion near the back of this
stage. Blast one of 'em up and drive on the roof where, predictably enough,
there are loads and loads of powerups.
-There are also these two other mansions, each coming with small, grassy gnolls
for courtyards, which are also stocked with 'em.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE MAUL
--------
One of the funniest levels...because of the..Um.well,..You know.. hehehhe.
Besides the obvious secrets, this level is just good to cruise around and look
at sometimes because of the variety of special effects to behold.
-Shoot the Abe memorial to get cash! Surprisingly enough, when you nail the
thing, Abe's head comes rolling off! Shoot it, and it'll offer up some powerups,
but nothing really useful enough to make you risk getting in front of its path
and trying to pluck it.
-There's a sign of girl on the top of a squarish building. Shoot her, and her
clothes will come off to reveal a swimsuit. Shoot the swimsuit, and you will get
cash.
-Shoot the helicopter in the air (it's not a hard shot) to get some moolah.
-Kill the blimp that's most commonly near the helicopter to get some money.
-A cool trick to get up to the roof is to blast the Washington Monument near the
back of the stage to get the debris and shrapnel to form small ramps, and, if
you time it and aim it right, you can fly up to the top of roof, a good way to
get cash and powerups, and like in other situation like this one, make it a very
gnarly combat area.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AREA 51
-------
This is the coolest level in the game, and, overall, makes it all worth while.
Great level, tons of fun.

-Dive into the teleport station to get cash.
-Shoot the A-Lee-Inn to get some moolah, which will, in turn, ignite some
rockets and send the thing up into the air. Later, when you're on the moon,
you'll see the thing floating around out there!
-Shoot the UFO's of course, to get some grub!
-head near the back of the stage just past an area of scrap heaps. Drive to
where some UFOs have crashed. Toss an RBL (upgraded) near the wrecked ship!
Teleport up to the moon now. Detonate the RBL to destroy the Earth!! But wait,
there's more yet to come! The moon will be hit with so much $#@$#@ing shrapnel
and debris that you will enter a zero-gravity starfield! At this time, the game
will let go into the invincibility mode, and will let you play a mini-game! The
problem being, you cannot teleport to the earth once this happens, so that you
will now need to quit the game! (A complete bummer for multiplayer games, I
might add.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEON NIGHTMARE
--------------
Cool enough for me! Besides, with all the pretty lights and the rather large
size of this level, it makes the perfect environment for a multiplay.

-Shoot the tower at your local Czar's Palace place, these things explode. Oh,
yeah, and there's cash in it for ya, as well.
-Waste Medevil Kenivel for cash.
-Take down the choppers for some cash and powerups, of course.
-Go to the right of the Rock Hard place, and there's this slot machine with none
other than the not-so-famous-with-me-anyway Big Daddy. Blow it for cash. When
two show up, blow 'em for more cash. When three come up, keep on a -doin' it.
Get three bad ones, however, and not only will you loose all your moolah, the
thing blows up, and causes the saucer to fly near the dam and explode into
pieces!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SO CAL
------
It's an OK level, but not nearly as good architecturally as the rest. Also, it
seems big at first, but appearances can be deceiving.

-Hit the sign that says Golf Club and get some cash from the golf balls it
spills!
-Kill the golf carts to get cash, $1,000 if you have a tourist, $500 if you
don't.
-Toss an RLB bomb into the whales tank near the towers in the pool, and you'll
blow him up and get a whole buncha cash!
-Shoot the banner towing some bi-planes for some stuff.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ETERNAL ACRES
--------------
Hmmmnot too goodonce againit appears big, but..

-Take out the helicopter to some cash, $1,000 with guy on board, only $500
without, which seems to be the standard payment plan in the game.
-The crypt in the far side of Eternal Acres has a weapons fill-up thing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
HELL-O STONE PARK
-----------------
Rather average level

-Kill the balloons
-Destroy the bridge that has the cars on it for moolah.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
QUAKE-A-RONI
------------
Not a very good level, that's for sure

-Shoot the tower to get some money. The tower falls over, which opens up a
secret passage.
-When you go into the secret passage, there's a tower that you should blow up,
and then see it blow up the Rock (the prison, not the wrestler) through a hole
in the hedge.
-Hit the bulldozer for money.
-Kill the trolley.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
NUKE YORK
---------
It's an OK level, but, once again, the earlier ones are _much_ better

-Blast the buildings. Not much else to say
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FUNTOPIA
--------
This is a bonus level.

-Kill everything, basically.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
THE GULCH
---------
Bonus level.

-Kill everythingagain.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
V.ENEMY DODGING/ FIGHTING GUIDE
-----------------------------
ENEMY FIGHTING:
-Quickly go behind big structures, and shoot any enemies passing by
-Go on the top of roofs and snipe them
-Hide behind bushes and blast enemies from there
-Wait for enemies near refill stations
-Do a hit and run-hit the enemy with all you've got and then tail it for a good
hiding place
-Snipe from inside buildings
-Drop from roofs and fire at them on the way down and then pull a hit and run
-Drop from the roof and land on top of them and then pull a hit and run
-Blast the enemies with a barrage of different weapons
-Go behind the enemies
-Use the passenger ejector, and then collect their passengers, and then run away
-Fire from front and then do a 180 and get behind them and fire upon them
-Do it the other way 'round
-Ram them from full speed, then get in back of them and full fire, the run away,
repeat
-Blow up objects or enemies near them-use the technique of hitting two birds
with one stone here
-In 1P mode, turn enemies against each other by firing a weapon between them and
making sure that it looks like one fired it at the other, confuse them
-Bunker down and be defensive, and then blast them
-Make them run over their own tourist
-Make other cars run into 'em by blasting or running into the other car, also
works for domino effect and two birds with one stone effect
-Just plain fire and then run like a sissy girl
-In multiplayer, get others on your side, and then do the switcher or ambush
techniques (self explanatory)
ENEMY DODGING-
-Always hide
-Put enemies up against each other
-Create a diversion by shooting something near them
-Blow up something near them that will hurt them so that they are too busy
saving themselves to hurt you
-Hide in uncrowned places
-Cause domino effect
-Use all of the techniques in fighting section, except in your own self-defense
