Version 1.0 (6/28/00): Here's the first and newly reformatted version of this
FAQ for such an old game.

Burger Time is a really old action-type game for the Colecovision, the NES, and
a few other systems. This FAQ is based on the Colecovision version since that's
the version of the game I've actually played. In Burger Time, you're a chef
that must put together burgers consisting of four pieces: the bottom bun, the
meat, the lettuce, and the top bun. You must climb ladders and walk along
platforms to lower each piece of the burger to the bottom plate where you'll
make a whole burger. However, there will be enemies moving around and they can
get in your way, so watch out! If you want to have some fun, or just play an
old-school game, then you should definitely try this game sometime.

-= 4. Overview -=
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

In this simple game, you're a chef who must put together burgers (hence the
game's title). There are four pieces of each burger: the bottom bun, the meat,
the lettuce, and the top bun. Each piece is on a platform above the next piece.
In order to put the pieces together, you must walk completely across the entire
piece (you can also walk over some of it at one point, then come back and walk
over the other side) to make it fall to the platform below. If there's another
part of the burger on the platform below, it'll knock that part to the floor
below it, saving you that much extra time! There are 4 platforms at the bottom
of the screen and you must drop all the pieces of the 4 burgers in each level
onto that platform. As you may have guessed, there are enemies around to make
the job that much harder, but luckily you have a small amount of pepper to
throw at them! Also, there are bonus goodies that randomly appear on the screen
that you can take to obtain extra points or add to your pepper supply.

-= 5. FAQ -=
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Q: What is the big difference between the skill levels?

A: There are more enemies to deal with throughout the levels, plus they
move faster! Also, you don't start out with as many peppers in the
       higher skill levels.

Q: What exactly does the pepper do to the enemies?

A: It paralyzes them for a limited period of time. During that time, you
can also walk right past the enemy without losing a life.

Q: How do you score in this game?

A: You obtain points for nearly anything you do! You get points for
dropping a piece of the burgers to another platform, defeating enemies,
       and picking up bonus goodies.

Q: How do you actually defeat the enemies in this game?

A: The only way that I know of to kill the enemies is when you drop a
burger piece to a lower level, hope that there's an enemy on that lower
platform! The burger piece will crush the enemy and give you a couple
       hundred points.
