Azure Dreams is another monster breeding game, which has populated the
shelves of stores of recent time. Overall its not a bad game, so listed
here are some of the statistical data from the game for you to enjoy.

1.1 FAQ Overview
This FAQ is NOT a walkthrough nor will it deal with Fusions. This is a data
directly from the game. I have made no attempt at any strategy, I'm sure
their will be those types of FAQs from others in the near future. This FAQ
is aimed at supplying the information that is very applicable to the game,
but will not show you how to finish the game. The information was derived
from the game itself and from no other source.

2.2 Monster Level 1 Stats
-------------------------
These are the stats for a monster at Level 1, note that Fusing monsters are
not included in this list, in general Fusing will give the fused monster the
higher of the parents stats
The Egg list is incomplete, more inforamtion will follow. The Spells are the
Inherit Spells that a monster can have available for being that monster type
Monsters are catergorised in Groups, this refers to thier Alignment Spell
Group and NOT in most case the actual alignment spell they get. I found it
much easier to reference by the Fire Spell, than by trying to individualise
each monster. Just look up the Group they belong to and you should find
thier skill in that

=============================================================================
Spells are a monsters special attack move, they cost Magic Points to use and
can have devastating effects

3.1 Overview
------------
I don't have the manual, so I don't know the correct terms for these spells.
I have broken them down to 2 groups, Alignment Spells and Inherit Spells.
Alignment seems restrictive to monster and its alignment, while inherit
spells are ones that can be passed along during Fusion

                           4.0 Alignment Spells
=============================================================================
Monsters get these spells because of thier Alignment. These are monster and
grouping restrictive. Aligments are typical in classes ie Fire, Water and
Wind

Alignment Spells by Group
-------------------------
By using seeds namely Windseed {Wind], Seaseed {Water] and Lumiseed [Fire],
or by fusing, a monster will get an alignment skill. These are grouped so
that a change of Alignment means you'll get the applicable spell in that
group. The other possible way of getting into a new group is by fusing a
different monster.

Once again apologies for not knowing the official word to call these spells.
A monster through fusing can keep up to 4 spells. I have not tried all the
spells, needless to say that some look very interesting.

5.1 Inherit Spells/Traits Listing

Stuffed!    Feed foes to lull them to sleep.
Anorexia    Make foes anorexic.
Un-Anorexia Cures anorexia.
Blizzard    Call a blizzard to make foes sleep.
MoonHowl    Change personality by howling.
Threats     Scares foes' monsters.
ChangeKind  Fusing causes species change.
BeautySleep Voluntarily sleep and recover HP.
MPDrain     Drain a foe's MP.

DoubleExp   Gain twice the normal experience.
RecoverX2   Makes recovery faster then usual.
AttackUp    Ups the player's attacking power.
DefenseUp   Player's defense power goes up.
MagicUp     Makes your magic more effective.
MagicUp*    Fusing raises your magic level.
DoubleHP    Your HP doubles if you fuse.
AttackX2    Fusing doubles your attack power.
DefenseX2   Fusing doubles your defense power.
MPHalver    Fusing slows MP usage by a half.
BlockX2     Fusing doubles your blocking power

                               6.0 Items
=============================================================================
You will find many items during you Tower visits, listed is a description of
the various items that can be found. This includes the resale price of the
items which is listed by them. You will notice by some of the listings will
be a figure in brackets [], this is the adjustment used for when an item gets
pluses by its name. 

To calculate the resale value is
Resale value = Base value+({Plus value - 1}*[Adjustment])
Resale value = The final price you will get for your item
Base Value   = The cost of the item when its at +1 [+1 and 0 are the same]
Plus Value   = The + of an item OR the number of charges in an Orb
Adjustment   = The value you get for every plus [charge] after the first one

Example
We have a FireWire +5, and we want to know the Resale Value
Firewire   400 A sword of Fire class. [100]
The Base Value is 400, Plus Value is 5, Adjustment is 100.... so
Resale Value = 400 + ((5-1)*100)
             = 400 + (4*100)
             = 400 + 400
We would get 800 coins for selling our FireWire +5

6.1 Tools

Tool Items in general are items are used during the Tower excursions, each
having a different effect.

PaleSand   100 Magic sand that increases orbs' life span.
BlueSand   100 Magic sand that tempers shields.
Red Sand   100 Magic sand that tempers swords.

Blue Oil    50 Prevents the shield from rusting just one.
Red Oil     50 Prevents the sword from rusting just one.

TrollArm   200 A sword that can evade shields; made for trolls.
Tomahawk   100 A weapon made for trolls.
Hammer     100 An iron-topped club; made for trolls. Supposed to be good.
ElfRein     30 Prevents Familiars from getting lost.
Feather     40 Guides player to the next floor.

StarSpec    50 Glasses that ena ble a view of the current floor.
TrueSpec   100 Item-appraisal glasses; can tell egg types.

GoldEye     50 Magnifying lens that reveals item locations.
MonstEye    50 Magnifying lens that reveals mon ster locations.
TrapEye    100 Magnifying lens that reveals trap locations.
ExitEye     50 Magnifying lens that reveals lift locations.

TameBell   200 Gathers Familiars.
EvilBell   100 Raises enemy monsters' level.
HolyBell   100 Banishes monsters from the room.

Fire Ray    50 Changes the Tower to Fire class.
WaterRay    50 Changes the Tower to Water class.
Wind Ray    50 Changes the Tower to Wind class.
AlcheRay    80 Changes all items on the floor to money.
Hex-Ray    100 Breaks curses placed on gear.
ViviRay    200 Revives an unconscious Tameon.

WindGem    100 Draws the magic return circle to go home with.
WaterGem   200 Fix collared Familiar's anomalies; regain MP,HP.
FireGem    200 Incinerate enemies with fire sprite's aid.

6.2 Seeds
---------
Seeds items in general affect the character/monsters stats, some go further
by changing the monsters alignment

Alacseed    50 Increases agility.
Big Vit     20 Feed for Familiars; recovers MP.
Burnseed   100 Burns out a Familiar's magicalpowers.
Dubseed     20 Doubles your speed.
Feroseed   240 Increases attack power.
Fortseed   200 Increases defensive power.
Halfseed    20 Halves your speed.
Larseed     50 Lowers your level.
Levaseed    20 Stops Familiars from changing in next fusion.
Leveseed    20 Makes monsters prone to MP loss on that floor.
Lioseed    100 Helps stop monsterMP from dropping for a while.
Lumiseed    50 Changes the Familiar's class to Fire.
Mazaseed  2000 Increases your level.
Olimseed   100 Familiars who eat it vanish; player exits Tower.
Ovaseed   3000 Reverts the monster to egg-state.
Seaseed     50 Changes the Familiar's class to Water.
Tovaseed   100 Increases luck.
Tumaseed    20 Eating this turns you into a frog for a while.
Vit Seed     5 Feed for Familiars; boosts MP slightly.
Windseed    50 Changes the Familiar's class to Wind.
Zoneseed   100 Makes critical hits easier to produce for a bit.

6.3 Recovery

Recovery Items in general heal ailments, while some lower stats

Dormint     10 Grass that induces sleep.
Droproot    10 Grass that lowers defense power when ingested.
Eyegrass    20 Grass that enables sight.
Ferocia     50 Eat this to recover from lowered attack power.
Fortia      50 Eat this to recover from lowered defense power.
Heal-All   200 Repairs all status abnormalities.
MediHerb     7 Eat them to recover strength.
Paralyn     10 Grass that paralyzes when ingested.
Pureleaf    15 This plant cleanses the body of poison.
Rouse       20 Recover from confusion with this plant.
Sapleaf     10 Grass that lowers attack power when ingested.
Toxins       5 Plants that are poisonous when ingested.
Wakesage    20 Eat this to awaken sleeping Familiars.

6.4 Orbs

Orbs are reusable until they run out of charges.

BlindOrb   400 An orb that contains enemy-blind ing darkness. [100]
FireOrb    500 An orb that contains a fireball. [125]
FlameOrb   300 An orb that contains flame volleys. [75]
HydrOrb    400 An orb that con tains a protective wall of water. [100]
IgniOrb    400 An orb that contains ground-crawling flame. [100]
MesmOrb    500 An orb with power to paralyze thunder/monsters. [125]
