This is a FAQ for everything in the American and Japanese
Dragonball GT Final Bout/Dragonball Final bout. I would first like to
start off saying that this game and Legends far exceed DBZ Ultimate
Battle 22 and that is why I am doing this game before UB22. Anyway, you
can't really compare the games to eachother. This is since Final Bout,
Legends, and Ultimate Battle 22 were all made in different years, are all
different types of games, all have different graphics, and all take place
in different parts of the Dragonball series. The only two that you can
compare are UB22 and this since they are both orthadox fighting games,
both have different modes, and both try to get by the same purpose. If
compared, majority of the people in the world, (The ones with common
sense for that matter) after playing both games would most likely prefer
this one. After reading this FAQ or not, I advise you to but this game
even if it is in Japanese. (May I suggest express.com?)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Object:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
The main object of this in basically every mode is to knock your
opponent out and defeat them. (DUH!) This game is much more complex than
that if you understand the story from the sereis that backs this game up
however... Some fights mean more than others and the other object is to
beat the game by successfully defeating the final boss. To those of you
who do not know who it is or much/anything about the series, I advise you
to read below...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Story:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
One day, while sparring with Ubuu atop the Tenkai (Dende's floating
palace), Gokou had a little run in with his old nemeis, Pilaf. Pilaf had
grown quite old, and wished to be young and rule the world once and for
all. He had come to the Tenkai because it held the Black Star Dragon
Balls, which he was going to use. However, he screwed up and
accidentilly wished Gokou to become a ten year old child once again.
Going to Satan City to find help, the boy ran into Pan, his
granddaughter. The two ventured to the Son house on Mount Paozu, where
it was decided to wish Gokou back to adulthood. Gokou was telepathically
contacted by Kaiou-sama that Black Star Dragon Balls were special: they
spread out around the universe, and if they were not brought back to
Earth within the year, then the planet would explode. Gokou, accompanied
by Capsule Corp. President Trunks Briefs and the scholar, Son Gohan, were
to use a Capsule spacecraft to find these Dragon Balls, if not for one
problem. Trunks and Gokou had boarded, and Pan stowed away on the ship.
Seconds before Gohan entered the ship, a malfunction blasted it off into
space. Thus began the trio's quest, which soon became of four when they
linked up with the small andriod Gill, who ate their Dragon Radar and had
it pop up from his back (he actually was built with it). They met the
evil Dr. Myuu, who was bringing a super-strong Tsufurujin back to life.
The Tsufurujin, Bebi, killed Myuu and after being defeated by Gokou, made
it to Earth. Bebi is one of those aliens who can take someone's body,
though Trunks fought it off. He invades first Goten, then Gohan and
Vegeta, and eventually everyone on Earth but Ubuu, Mister Buu and Mister
Satan. Everyone else on Earth had been implanted with an egg in
theirbrain, while Bebi chose Vegeta for himself. Trunks was "infected"
when they returned to Earth with the Dragon Balls to find that almost
everyone was gone. Satan explained to Gokou and Pan what had happened,
while Buu and Ubuu fused to form Ubuu-Buu but was defeated by Bebi-
Vegeta. Bebi-Vegeta uses the Black Star Balls given to him by the
infected Mr. Popo and Dende to wish back his home planet of Plant, which
is in orbit around Earth like a giant moon. (Note: Planet Plant is also,
you may or may not know this, Planet Vegeta!) Now, it's up to Gokou and
Pan to defeat the evil Bebi Vegeta and his followers with the newfound
power of Super Gokou 4, the ultimate power! (Gotten after fighting Super
Android #17...)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Here are the six modes of play and easy explanations of what they are and
how they work...

	1.Battle
	2.Versus
	3.Options
	4.Build-Up Mode
	5.Practice Mode
	6.Tournament Mode
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Battle Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
In this mode, you fight random characters from the game until you
get to the final boss, Super Bebi. When you beat him, you beat this part
of the game and you see the credits. Although this could be the end, I
would suggest beating it numerous times to perfect your skills and make
sure you fought all the enemies before attempting to fight in some of
these other modes of play. (Accept Practice Mode)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Versus Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
You and a friend pick your characters and fight. Don't get it?
Okay, repeat Kidnergarten, maybe twice, and then try to read this part of
the FAQ again. If you still don't get it, you booze you lose so stop it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
			 			Options Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
You change the below settings you what you want them to be...
Key Configuration-A, B, or C. Choose what is best for you. (Default
is A)
Difficulty- Easy, Normal, Hard (Default is Normal)
Demo-On or Off. (Default is on)
Life/Power Gauges-On or Off (Default is on)
Meteo Smashes-On or Off (Default is on)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Practice Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Here, you simply practics your attacks and stuff like that. You
choose you and your opponent and pretty much screw araound or practice...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Build-Up Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
In here, you choose a character and raise their attacks and such
while fighting computer opponents in seven blocks. (Just like UB22.)
Also, you can fight your other or other people's fighters in a
competition. The maximum level is 250 and is very difficult to obtain
without Gameshark. Personally, this is my favorite mode.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------- Tournament Mode:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
In this mode, pick eight players to participate ion the Tenkaichi
Boudokai mode and keep fighting until one wins it all. You can fight in
the muontains or the ring and can also have a Build-Ip fighter
tournament. Cool, huh?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

						Meteos And How They Work-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
To pull off a Meteo, hit the R2 button to send your opponent in the
air. While they are in the air, hit one of the Meteo Combos above. Your
character should perform the Meteo. When they are finsihed, the opponent
will be in the air again. When this happens, you can initiate another
Meteo. The only Meteo you can't continue with is the Blast Meteo.

Also, when you finish your opponent off completely with a Blast
Meteo, they will say something special for a finsihing move taunt. This
is a very effective and complicated part of the game, but when you master
it, you can now consider yourself above average to expert depending on
how well you play the other aspects of the game...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freezer
Mirai Trunks
Super Gokou 4
Bebi-Vegeta
Super Vegitto
Gotenks
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Son Gokou-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is Gokou before he becomes Chibi, or Little Gokou in the
sereis. He is about fifty r so and in the series was teching the human,
good, form of Majin-Boo, Ubuu. He is as string as Gohan and Vegeta and
has long legs for good, close-range kicks. In his Super Saiyajin for, he
has the same moves and combos, accept the Genki Dama. (Spirit Bomb...)
Also, everything below accept the Kamehameha's don't apply for Gokou's
SSJ4 form...

Moves:

Knockout #1-Kamehameha (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Chou Kamehameha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Genki Dama- F, B, D, U + Triangle (Only with original GT Gokou)
Spinning Fists-D, F + Square
Smashing Kicks-B, D, F + O
Slash-Down Kick-F, D + O (in air)
Jump Knee Lift-D, U +O
Dash Elbow-F, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Punch, Smashing Kicks
-Dash Elbow, Dodge, Spinning Fist, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Pan:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Pan is the Saiyajin daughter of Gohan and Videl. (Bedeel.) She
possesses good power but is not a main powerhouse in the game. She is
good for hit and run tactics because she is short and quick. I still
don't get why female characters or Saiyajins for that matter, can't go
Super Saiyajin...

Moves:

Knockout #1-Atomic Side Blitz (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Shinkuu-Kikoken (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Eagle Knee Lift-D, U + O
Cyclone Heel Kick-D, F + 0
Cutting Uppercut-F, B, F + Square
Jack Force Combination-D, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Punch, Eagle Knee Lift, Cutting Uppercut
-Renzoku Energy Dan, Dash, Eagle Knee Lift, Jack Force Combination
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Son Gohan:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Gohan is the forst son of Gokou and is all grown up! Unfortunately,
Chi-Chi turned him into a nerd so he doesn't really have a thirst for
fighting like his dad and Vegeta. Nontheless, his techniques are very
powerful and effective. Hey, don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't step
into a ring with him...

Moves:

Knockout #1 Masenko (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2 Kamehameha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Knee Smasher F, B, F + O
Jumping Axe Kick D, U + O
Lightning Kick Bomb F, D + O (in air)
Missile Kick D, F + O
Jet Uppercut D, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Knee Smasher, Kick, Jumping Axe Kick
-Renzoku Energy Dan, Dash, Lightning Kick Bomb, Jet Upperdut, Run
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Piccolo-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Piccolo, even though he appeared only three times in Dragonball GT,
returns with his moves and stuff from before. He has good kicks and is
good for medium to long-range attacks. He is very fast and powerful but
low in other things. The only people, I found, that he didn't match up
well against were Freezer and SSJ4 Gokou. Other than that, he is a great
character.

Moves:

Knockout #1-Makankousappo
Knockout #2-Gekiretsukoudan
Sonic Kick-F, B, F + O
Madankyaku-D, U + O
Lightning Kick Bomb-F, D + O (in air)
Cutting Wave-F, F, F + O
Mashoudankyaku-B, D, F + O
Mystic Attack-F, F + #

Suggested Combos-
-Madankyaku, Sonic Kick, Cutting Wave
-Cutting Wave, Dash, Mashoudankyaku, Mystic Attack, Kick, Run
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
					Chibi Son Gokou (Little Gokou)-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is Gokou after he was turned back into a kid by Pilaf in the
beginning of the series. Though he is smalller, he still has all his
power. Also, he is great for close-attacks. The thing he is better than
anything for is evading KI attacks. When somebody throws a KI attack at
him on the ground, it goes right over his head! This guy is great to
learn and play with if you are a beginner or not!

Moves:

Knockout #1-Kamehameha (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Chou Kamehameha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Sliding Bomb-B, D, F + #
Sanrenkyaku-F, F, F + O
Slash Down Kick-F, D + O (in air)
Bakuretsu Combination-F, D, B + #
Solid Shoot-D, F + O

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, punch, kick, Sanrenkyaku
-(In air,) Slash-Down Kick, Land, Sanrenkyaku, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Trunks-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Trunks os the son of Vegeta and Bulma. He is a very good character
and as I have found, very easy to handle as a beginner. Though Vegeta
never showed any respect, affection, or love for his son, he shows it in
the fight against Cell when Trunks is hurt and neraly killed. Trunks
(This One) is not from the future but the normal dimension in the series.
Once again, he is the BEST character for beginners. (Even better than
Chibi Gokou.)

Moves:

Knockout #1-Burning Attack (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Finish Buster (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Rushing Kick-F, F + O
Sliding Kick-B, D, F + O
Down The Hill-D, B + O
Brave Sabre-F, B, F + Square
Lightning Show-B, B + O

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Punch, Sliding Kick, Sliding Kick
-Down the hill, Brave Sabre, Kick, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Super Vegeta-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is Vegeta as SSJ2, but for some reason, the people who made
him left him with the name Super Vegeta. He is a very quiet, rude, and
mean person but has a good heart deep inside. He actually cares for his
family but never admits it or lets anybody see his soft side. I guess he
wil never change. Anyway, he is good for close attacks and combos and is
very fast and useful.

Moves:

Knockout #1-Big Bang Attack (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Final Flash (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Dash Elbow-F, F + Square
Self destuct-B, F, D, U + Triangle
Slash-Down Kick-F, D + O (in air)
Slash-Arrow Kick-D, U + O
Hammer Smash-D, U + Square
Wild Spin Kick-D, B + O
Super Dash-D, F + O
Heel Shoot-F, F + O

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Dash Elbow, Super Dash
-Super Dash, Heel Shoot, Wild Spin Kick
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Perfect Cell-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
He is the second best creation by Dr. Gero. The best was #17 when
he turned Super #17. Cell is the creation that became perfect after
absorbing the power of #17 and #18 while fighting the rest of the heroes.
He is very powerful and is a living being unlike the androids and their
creator's mechanical body. He is good for long-range attacks and energy
surprises. He is a well-balanced character.

Moves:

Knockout #1-Kamehameha (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Shougekiha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Cell Combination-F, U, F + Square
Rising Attack-D, U + Square
Head Attack[beginning]-B, B, F + Square
Head Attack[additional]-F + Square
Ground Slider-D, F + O
Power Attack-D, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Cell Combination, Ground Slider
-Ground Slider, Rising attack, Shougekiha, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Original Buu (Kid Buu)-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is the original physical form of Majin Boo before absorbing
anybody. Unfortunately, he gets all the power but in his original,
mindless, evil, state of mind. Not much is to be said about him since he
is powerhouse with cheap attacks. This character is crazy as hell!

Moves:

Knockout #1-Powerball (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Saiko No Kogeki (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Arm Ball-D, F + Square
Ultimate Punch-B, D, F + Square
Spiral Kick-D, F + O
Self Destruct-B, F, D, U + Triangle
Earth Shoot-B, D + O,O,O
Expand Punch-F, B, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Punch, Punch, Kick, Kick, Spiral Kick
-Ultimate Punch, Spiral Kick, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Freezer-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is Freezer in his final and perfect state of transformation.
He is very cheap with his tail and has lots of power. (In the game
anyways...) He comes into the series when Gokou goes to hell and the
Earth is in havok thanks to Super-Bebi. Him and Cell team up with Hell's
Buster to put Gokou in another dimension of hell. Freezer is a very
useful character.

Moves:

Knockout #1-Death Ball-(B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Evil Energy-(D,B,F+ Triangle)
Super Tail Kick-B, D, F + O
Guillotine Kick Combination-F, F + O
Flying Kick-F, D + O (in air)
Head Attack-B, B, F + Square
Dash Elbow-F, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Renzoku Energy Dan, Dash Elbow, Super Tail Kick
-Head Attack, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Mirai Trunks-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is the Trunks from the future that killed Freezer when he
arrived back on Earth. He still has his sword and totally kicks ass! He
is aslo great for beginners and has a very good baclance of powers and
abilities. Great fighter!

Moves:

Knockout #1-Burning Attack (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Finish Buster (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Down The Hill-D, B + O
Blocking Over-F, F + O
Grand Shoot Jabbering-B, D, F + O
Brave Sabre-F, B, F + Square
Lightning Sonic-B, B + O

Suggested Combos-
-Grand Shoot Jabbering, Brave Sabre, Renzoku Energy Dan
-Lightning Sonic, Dash, Punch, Kick, Brave Saber, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Super Vegetto-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Once again, this is Vegetto, NOT Gojita. Gojita was only in one DBZ
movie and a couple DBGT episodes. The difference is, Vegetto has more of
Gokou's face and Vegeta's clothes, while Gojita has more Vegeta's face
and I guess, Gokou's clothes-Kind of. He is very powerful and has almost
no weak point when fighting as him. Also, when doing a Final Kamahameha
in close-range, Vegetto doesn't wait. Instead, he just goes YAHHHHH! and
shoots a large blast at the opponent without wasting any valuable time.
Vegetto is the third most powerful character in the game.

Moves:

Knockout #1-Final Kamehameha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #1-Flash Sword Attack (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Psychic Whip-B, D, U + Triangle
Heel Shoot-F, F + O
Spiral Heel Shoot-F, D + O (in air)
Phantom Summer-B, D, U + O
Rising Chain Kick-D, U + O
Atomic Break Combo-D, Triangle + O

Suggested Combos-
-Ki Blast, Final Kamehameha (Close-in)
-Atomic Break Combo, Final Kamehameha (Close-in)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
						Super Saiyajin Gokou 4-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is the most powerful character in the game! He is Gokou at his
strongest on GT! This guy is so good, fast, and powerful, you shouldn't
lose against anybody! This proves that Gokou is actually the legendary
Saiyajin Vegeta denied him being... He is just awesome!

Moves:

Knockout #1-Kamehameha (B,D,F+ Triangle)
Knockout #2-Juubeh (10x) Kamehameha (D,B,F+ Triangle)
Spear Shoot-D, F + Square
Slash Down Kick-F, D + O (in air)
Reppugazanshuu-B, D, F + O
Jump Knee Lift-D, U + O
Dash Elbow-F, F + Square

Suggested Combos-
-Reppugazanshuu, Jump Knee Lift, Renzoku Energy Dan
-Dash Elbow, Jump Knee Lift, Renzoku Energy Dan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Bebi-Vegeta-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is the boss of the battle mode... Bebi in Vegeta's body.
Though the second most powerful character in the game, sucks when using
codes to be him. He is just too slow and big to do anything with...

Moves:
Same as everybody else for default moves and combos. No extras...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
							Gotenks-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
This is Trunks and Goten under Fusion. To get him, you must beat
the game nine times in a row on hard mode with Trunks and then he will be
accessable on the character select screen. (Or so people say. Honestly,
I have never attempted to try and obtain him. I will assume the moves of
him. If anybody can confirm this before I decide to get off my lazy ass,
please E-Mail me at dfgibbs@attglobal.net-Thanks!)

Moves:
Same as everybody else for default moves and combos. No extras...

						Strategies For Winning-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Below are strategies of how to win battles against anybody. No specials
or anything...

1. Hit And Run Tactic
In this tactic, you perfrom a combination and then immidiety run
away wating for an opening in your opponent's defense. Very affective but
also very boring as well...

2. Strictly Offensive Tactic
When fighting an opponent that you seen to have an upper hand on,
you may want ot consider this tactic. Otherwise, skip to below... Anyway,
you just trap your opponent in the corner and keep attacking him/her and
charginf up when nessecary. If you trap the right person in the corner,
you can win the fight with relative ease.

3. Strictly Defensive Tactic
When doing this, block until your opponent has an opening and then
attack until you can't keep it up. In a way, this relates to the hit and
run tactic, but I'd rather call it the get hit and kick tactic.

4. KI And Evade Tactic
In this tactic, simply space yourself from your opponent and thrown
KI's or shoot special attacks at them. Also, charge when nessecary. When
they perform an attack close-in, simply press R1 and down to go around
them while they are open and hit them. When they attack from afar, make
sure you at least make an attempt to counter-attack or else you will be
in what I call, the "Zone Of Screwed!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
