0.0   - UPDATE HISTORY

VERSION 10.0:  January 14, 2002
        - DAMMIT! I MISSPELLED PRONUNCATION AS PRONOUNCIATION!!! >_< So I corrected
          that -- dammit, I'm a ditz!  LOL~!  ^^;;  Added a silly Al Bhed Quiz [Don't think
          that if you make perfect scores on it, you're an Al Bhed. ^^;; ]; moved the
          Online Al Bhed Translators so that the basic know-hows of Al Bhed in FFX can be
          on the top. ^^;; ; and got one more Al Bhed Translator reviewed: "Knights: Al
          Bhed Translator". =} More silly DYN?s added. Lee Frye's Translator is updated,
          so I rewrote the review and he now has 7 stars instead of 5! ^^;; I updated the
          HTML version of my Deciphering Guide [Forgot to update it with the complete Al
          Bhed alphabet!]. And I also did a Dictionary Pronunciations to the Pronunciation
          Guide. =P Fixed the Complex Al Bhed-Roumaji Guide [I translated the SHI and CHI
          wrong! ^^;; ]! I'm soon gonna do an updated review on Barak's works -- all of
          you know how much you love his Translators! [Be sure to praise him, and tell him
          that: ENIG SAID SO!] Whoo whoo! And I also skipped some script and added some
          new Japanese scripts from the Airship scene around Bevelle since I have a Save
          there in my Memory Card. [Translations aren't up! I'm too lazy!] =P God, I
          love Aniki's and Lin's Japanese voices. Dreamy! *sighs* Is there anything I'm
          missing that has Al Bhed on it? I added the Airship Passwords and the Al Bhed
          Treasure Chests at the Al Bhed Home. I can't think of anything else. ^^;; My
          brain is fried from all of this Al Bhed. LOL~! <Bmayca syga ed cdub>, Mommy~!
          Man, this is becoming TOO LARGE! Longer than my Bust A Move/Groove DYN? Guide!
          Holy Siva . . .  O_O;;

VERSION 9.0 :  January 9, 2002
        - Thanks to Matt M., I got the complete Al Bhed American Rankings and I forgot to
          add one missing Japanese Ranking. So the Rankings section is completed. =} I
          added one DYN?, created a complex Al Bhed Deciphering Guide for the Japanese, I
          did some corrections to the Japanese Al Bhed script, more silly Q&A, completed
          the whole pronunciations [Thanks, Natephish!], and made some changes here and
          there -- I hope you got a good eye to notice them. ^~ Please read my LEGAL AND
          LINKS! Oh yeah: "E muja ouin e-mails, PessimiStick!" And to Barak: "Kmyt E
          kud oui du lralg ouin e-mails!" ^^;; One thing I found weird was that out of
          the many e-mails I get about my Guide, about 15% of it are typed in Al Bhed.
          [It's not like I'm ASKING to have e-mails in Al Bhed! I just thought it was
          weird. LOL~!] =P Thanks to PessimiStick for being the first person to send me
          an e-mail in Al Bhed, and every one else who are big Fans to this Guide!  ^^;;
          *hugs everyone* Viva la Al Bhed~!

VERSION 8.0 :  January 4, 2002
        - Completed the American rankings, thanks to Morelock and Matt M. ^^;; Also I
          added in more people who are posting my Guide, the Websites: "FFXpert", "FF
          Odyssey", and "FF World Chronicle". ^^;; More Translators added along with a
          new 10 Stars rating, AND FOLKS -- WE GOT OURSELVES A WINNER!!! YEP! THERE IS A
          10 STAR TRANSLATOR OUT THERE! Read below and see who has won! ^~ Also, a whole
          crapful of Japanese dialogue that you cannot read anywhere else. Especially if
          you read Nathan Mallory's and John Townsend's "Unofficial FFX Translation".  ^^;;
          Also, I add Q&A #5 and #6. Grr, I wish I have the American FFX to get the
          quotes. *reminds herself to get the American FFX sometime soon along with an
          American PS2* Also, I might take a short break from FFX to make my Rikku
          costume. Since this looks very complete.

VERSION 7.0 :  January 2, 2002
        - Happy New Year! ^^;; Man, I'm tired. I actually got detailed descriptions of
          the locations of the Al Bhed Dictionaries/Primers. So go read that with thanks
          to TJ for the suggestion. ^^;; I also added more to the RULES OF AL BHED thanks
          to Ajina, and organized it. =} Well, it seems that Al Bhed is gettin' a pretty
          bad rep that people are trying to learn it, comparing it to the Elven language
          of Lord of the Rings and Klingon of Star Trek. Heh, you would've known this day
          would come! But I stand my ground for this: If Nobuo Uematsu or Tetsuya Nomura
          can speak Al Bhed [Yes, in the interview shown in the Prima FFX Guide, they do
          speak some Al Bhed to each other. =P ] -- Hell, if they can be called freaks for
          speaking it. Then why can't it? ^^;; I consider it as a good way of freak. =P
          Oh yeah, soon an Al Bhed Guide "Did You Notice?" would be included with thanks to
          TYLIEWILIE for the suggestion. =P Man, there might be more new stuff, but I
          added in so much new stuff such as RANKINGS, AL BHED SPHERES LOCATIONS, and etc.

VERSION 6.0 :  December 30, 2001
        - Jesus Christ, just reread the whole Al Bhed Guide! There is SO MUCH new crap in
          here -- it's unbelieveable! ^^;; New sections, longer introduction about this
          Guide. And a whole bunch of whoop-lah! =P I'll mention some: Hoozah, more
          online Al Bhed Translators in my listing, and not to mention a VERY helpful Link
          about the pronouciations by 2f. He's God, along with Sailor Bacon. Man, I never
          had this much help for this Guide. *sniffs* THANKS ALL OF YOU~! Well, this
          Guide is not complete yet! I still got more to do for the script, but since I
          only have the Japanese version of FFX, I'm translating the Japanese Al Bhed. [I
          don't have an American PS2.  =( ]  Man, I can't remember, there's just so much
          that I added!  And Kimari, sorry about not changing your e-mail sooner!  ^^;;

VERSION 5.0 :  December 27, 2001
        - Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's! ^^;; THANKS TO THE
          MANY READERS WHO HAVE SUBMITTED ME THEIR LETTERS, THE AL BHED TO ENGLISH
          DECIPHERING GUIDE IS COMPLETE~!! *cheers* [They are added in my CREDITS!] I
          couldn't have done it without you guys~! ^^;; Also, I edited the stuff here for
          the American version, so this Guide covers both American and Japanese versions.
          I added more to the Roumaji to Al Bhed listing as well as some new Al Bhed
          scripts I found from PlayOnline. =P Me happy, you enjoy! I also wanted to
          personally thank these people for helping me out solving the whole alphabet~!:
          roadkill                    - For helping me found 5 of the letters~!  ^^;;
          Kimari, jaspr, and Morelock - For telling me that X = Q in Al Bhed to English!
          Dave and Rich - For telling me that Q = X in Al Bhed to English!
          Heh, if anyone read my theory of what Q, W, and X in Al Bhed was when translated
          to English at the GameFAQs Board -- I guess I was right all along. See, I said
          that Q = X, X = Q, and W = Z.  And I was correct on all of them.  =P  Wow, now
          that rocks~!  Now we are all AL BHED MASTERS~!  ^^;;

VERSION 4.0 :  December 13, 2001
        - Found the English C and P -- thanks, Red Moon! ^^;; Mucho credit given to him!
          Thanks, dude~! Given a HTML version of my Deciphering Guide, more reviews on
          roadkill's Al Bhed Translator! ^^;; And more doo-hickeys that makes this Guide
          look all neat. Hey-o, RedMageLorian~! *waves* LOL~! AND COMING SOON:
          AL BHED PRONUNCIATION GUIDE! ^^;; Maybe I should translate numbers into Al
          Bhed -- I dunno, I'm going crazy with this Guide.  WAHOO~!!  ^^;;

VERSION 3.0 :  November 28, 2001
        - Got information from Final Fantasy Art Museum, so I got the official Japanese
          names to some of the places. =P Also, I added a new section, Online Al Bhed
          Translators. I wanted to thank roadkill for his Translator, I really love it.
          Help save the time I spend trying to translate Al Bhed manually. If you ever
          visit the PERSONA 2 Eternal Punishment Boards at "GameFAQs", you can see I'm
          speaking [pretty much] fluently in Al Bhed there. =P And also, just for the
          Hell of it, Songs in Al Bhed! ^^;; I think I got every vocal Song in FFX
          excluding the "Feel/Go" Single. Heh heh . . . I also wanted to thank Saba,
          he's been very helpful to this Al Bhed Guide. =} Thanks, dude~!

VERSION 2.0 :  November 26, 2001
        - Corrected some stuff. Forgot to add the English "V" in the American-Al Bhed
          section, and thanks to Kouli, I found the letter "J" in American-Al Bhed.  ^^;;
          Corrected the Script according to my needs. Also, QUESTIONs #6, #10, #11, and
          #12 in the FAQ section is brand new~! If anyone has played the Winter Jampack
          Demo with FFX include, I would love it if you can type up every Al Bhed spoken
          in there so I can decipher some more of the language and complete this Guide!

VERSION 1.0 :  November 13, 2001
        - Created the "Final Fantasy X Al Bhed Guide"! I am only working on both the
          Japanese and English versions of it -- I'd say it's like 60% complete. =} Oh
          yes, this is made in dedication to my sister:  Happy Birthday, Donna!  ^^;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
1.0   - INTRODUCTION
        What is Al Bhed, what does it mean? Why does it have to do with the people and the
language used in Final Fantasy X? Well, according to the dictionary, Al Bhed derives from
the word Albedo which means this!:
-Albedo \Al*be"do\, n. [L., fr. albus white.] Whiteness. Specifically: (Astron.) The
-ratio which the light reflected from an unpolished surface bears to the total light
-falling upon that surface.
        It makes sense since the Al Bhed are very Angelo-Saxan people with milky white skin
and light-colored hair. Albedo is sorta like Albino! ^^;; And that is what my Guide is
focused on: The Al Bhed. See, Al Bhed was always an interesting language to me along with
the people of this culture. =} Even in both the American and Japanese versions of Final
Fantasy X, I always see Al Bhed as being one of the most unique, complex, and well-planned
fantasy languages/people ever invented in a Video Game. The Al Bhed language was
considered so popular that in the "GameFAQs' Final Fantasy X Board", some said that maybe
one day we'll see it as the second most popular language. o.O;; God, that would've been a
sight to see, huh? This Guide is to help you out while playing Final Fantasy X in case
you're too lazy to look up the Al Bhed Dictionaries/Primers or wanted to know something
about Al Bhed that you may never notice before. If you're wondering why I'm so fixated on
the Al Bhed, well -- it's because oddly enough, I have a lot to relate to them. [Read
further if you want to know!] ^^;; Do note that ahead are major SPOILERS, but if you want
to read on ahead -- go ahead, brave soul!  Don't tell me I didn't warn ya!  ^^;;
        Well, I hope you love this Guide and please let me know your feedbacks on it! So
feel free to e-mail me any questions, praises, comments, or anything at all to me at
enigmaopoeia@hotmail.com. Do keep your flames in the trash where they belong. And thank
you, and happy reading!  ^^;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
2.0 - AL BHED AND ENIGMAOPOEIA
        Well, if you're wondering why did I make such a long Guide on Al Bhed, it's because
I never saw a RPG language that actually worked. The Dugbear language of Legend Of Mana
was so hilarous, it made me cry. Never in a RPG I saw that a foreign language was key to
knowing about the people and learning more about who they are. Only Al Bhed made that
possible! Even in both the American and Japanese versions of Final Fantasy X made Al Bhed
an enjoyable language to learn and understand. So I want to write a Guide on my love for
Al Bhed. Call me weird, so what? You're the one whose reading this Guide~! ^^;; I do
this because if you're having fun -- have fun while it lasts! To answer any questions --
no, I'm not fluent in Al Bhed, I read it better than I can speak it. [Yes, I have a life,
thank you!] =P And oddly enough, I can say that I am related to the Al Bhed in some sort
of fashion. Just hear me out!:

01.) The man who works at the Traveling Firm/Agency is an Al Bhed named Lin/Rin, and my
      name is Lynn. Lin is an alternate spelling of the name, Lynn! [And my name in
      Roumaji is Rin!] O_O;; And you thought that was funny! My sister's name is Donna,
      just like Summoner Donna's. [Her name was badly translated to Dona in the American
      version!  *grumbles*]
02.) The Seiyuu/Voice Actress of Rikku, Mariko Matsumoto, she was born on September 12th.
      Well, I'm born on the opposite of 12th:  September 21st.  =P We're both Virgoes;
      we're both Asian [She's Japanese, I'm Half-Korean]; we're both Models in our own way
      [She models, I Cosplay!]; and we both love Rikku.  ^^;;
03.) Rikku's English Voice Actress is Tara Strong who did the voice of Bubbles in The
      Powerpuff Girls, and Bubbles is my favorite Powerpuff Girl. =P
04.) I Cosplayed as a lady named Lisa Silverman from PERSONA 2 Innocent Sin who is like
      the Japanese version of Rikku. Lisa's nickname is Ginko, and Rikku and Ginko have
      both five letters in their name. Lisa and Rikku are both blonde, athletic, and they
      have a crush on the main Hero. Lisa speaks in Cantonese and Japanese while Rikku
      speaks in Al Bhed and Japanese. Lisa and Rikku both have similar hairstyles, and
      they are fast and agile. Man, when I first saw Rikku, all I thought was Ginko, and
      how much I thought Rikku has gots to be kewl~!  ^^;;
05.) Rikku has an older brother, Aniki/Brother, and I have a younger sister, Donna. =P
      Well, I'm unsure whether or not you'll count it, but we both got one sibling!
06.)  I'm learning Al Bhed because of Lin/Rin and Rikku.  ^^;;

        I got some more, but I'm keepin' this Guide short. So I got enough a right to love
Al Bhed as much as I do. =P So if you think I'm weird, blame FFX for startin' it! LOL~!

3.0   - DECIPHERING GUIDE
        Here is a semi-complete list of the letters/characters in the Al Bhed language are
in Japanese, Roumaji, or English. The Hiragana and Katakana versions of this Guide is on
a HTML at this Link: http://www.ginkoginko.com/lollipop/works/guides/ffx_albhed.html
        Do note that the Link above would only show the English, Hiragana, and Katakana
versions of the Al Bhed. Only here would show the Roumaji. I made it easier for people
so they won't have to encode this Guide into Japanese (Auto-Select).  ^^;;

        since there are no official Japanese Al Bhed translation for these. I'll go with
        my method since I follow the format of the Japanese Al Bhed and they look correct.]

4.0 - RULES OF THE AL BHED LANGUAGE
        There are rules to life, Hell -- there are even rules to Al Bhed. So before you
start going off into speaking Al Bhed, you must learn the basics. =P Here are my 10 Rules
to Al Bhed! Remember that these aren't written in stone, they are subject to change!:

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE ONE : KNOW YOUR KEYWORDS!
        There are certain words that can spoken in Al Bhed and certain words that must be
spoken in English/Japanese. Words that are spoken in English/Japanese are better known as
keywords. The keywords are: Proper Nouns, Nouns, and Subjects. So mainly, your first
rule to note is that not everything is spoken in Al Bhed!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE TWO : NOUNS AS KEYWORDS!
        Nouns are a person's name, place, and thing. But there is a minor note about these
nouns, with thanks to Ajina for pointing it out. Some nouns can be translated such as
Oasis and Gang. But some are kept untranslated such as Magic and Fiend. So it's a mixed
bag really of what is supposed to be kept in English/Japanese and what is to be kept in Al
Bhed, some regular nouns are translated while some are not. We do know for certain that
proper nouns are to be kept in English/Japanese. Proper nouns are unique person, place, or
thing. Just to be on the safe side when speaking Al Bhed: People's names are untranslated
such as Rikku, Tidus, and Lulu; places and locations are untranslated such as Besaid,
Spira, and Luca; places and locations can be written in Al Bhed if they are supposed to be
secretive such as Oasis, Hideout, and House; and things are a mixed bag of whether or not
they can be kept in Al Bhed or English/Japanese, so use your judgment wisely, such examples
are Spheres, Animals, and Weapons/Armors.
        Let's say that if I wanted to say, "My name is Rikku." or "Watashi wa Rikku.". The
obvious noun there is, is a proper noun, Rikku, it's a person's name. So I wouldn't say in
Al Bhed: "<So hysa ec Neggi.>" or "<KASAKI MA NYORRU.>" Neggi and Nyorru aren't Al Bhed
for Rikku because you wouldn't translate it, and you wouldn't want the Al Bhed's to think
that your name is Neggi or "<Nyorru>", right? ^~ So you would say instead, "<So hysa ec>
Rikku." or "<KASAKI MA> Rikku." Then the Al Bhed would know that your name is Rikku.

JAPANESE:
-EXAMPLE  :  "Watashi wa Rikku."
-CORRECT  :  "<KASAKI MA> Rikku."
-INCORRECT:  "<KASAKI MA NYORRU.>"

AMERICAN:
-EXAMPLE : "My name is Rikku."
-CORRECT  :  "<So hysa ec> Rikku."
-INCORRECT:  "<So hysa ec Neggi.>"

        Now as for locations, as I stated before, they are a mixed bag. So locations that
everyone knows are kept in English/Japanese as stated on the tree where you first fought
Kimahri: "Kilika <yht> Bikanel <zueh yc uha.>" / "Kilika and Bikanel join as one." Notice
how Kilika and Bikanel are kept in English. So public locations are kept untranslated.
But the only locations that are translated are secretive locations such as when you are the
Sanubia Desert, there is a sign that states: "<Uycec yrayt.>" / "Oasis ahead." Though
most would keep Oasis untranslated, they translated it because the Al Bhed probably wanted
to hide the location of the Oasis from people foreign to Al Bhed.

JAPANESE:
[PUBLIC LOCATION]
-EXAMPLE : "Poruto=Kiirika wa yoi nomimono wo sasu suru."
-CORRECT  :  "Poruto=Kiirika <MA MOMI OIKOO MU RANU NUU.>"
-INCORRECT: "<PIUSO=CHIiNIA MA MOMI OIKOO MU RANU NUU.>"

[SECRETIVE LOCATION]
-EXAMPLE : "Watakushitachi no Ajito wa chikaku de aru."
-CORRECT  :  "<KASARUKISAHI O WAGISO MA HIARU BE WAU.>"
-INCORRECT:  "<KASARUKISAHI O> Ajito <MA HIARU BE WAU.>"

AMERICAN:
[PUBLIC LOCATION] | [SECRETIVE LOCATION]
-EXAMPLE : "Kilika serves good drinks." | "Our Hideout is nearby."
-CORRECT  :  "Kilika <canjac kuut tnehgc.>" | "<Uin Retauid ec haynpo.>"
-INCORRECT:  "<Gemegy canjac kuut tnehgc.>" | "<Uin> Hideout <ec haynpo.>"

        As for things, remember, they are a mixed bag. There is no right or wrong to this,
but make sure that if the noun is a subject, translate it. But if it isn't, it's up to you
whether or not you want to translate it.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE THREE:  SUBJECTS AS KEYWORDS!
        Subjects are phrases such as: "I want to go to the park." Park is the subject of
this sentence. It is proven when the Al Bhed first met Tidus: "<Y> fiend! <Eh risyh
teckieca!>" or "Mamono <GA! SHINDEN SHI ZATESEUN GA!>". Fiend and Mamono are the subject
because they are talking about you. Another proof is that Aniki/Brother also said this at
the Sanubia Desert: "<Ouin bnaleuic> Magic <yht> Aeons <yna caymat!>" Magic is the
subject of that sentence while Aeons are the proper noun. ^^;; Subjects are kinda treated
as proper nouns, by the way.
        An example would be this: "I want to take my pet Chocobo to the Isle of Besaid."
or "Watashi wa Besaido Shima he watashi no petto Chokobo wo tsurete ikitai." The proper
nouns are "Isle of Besaid" and "Chocobo", while the subject is "pet". So I would say in
Al Bhed: "<E fyhd du dyga so> pet Chocobo <du dra> Isle of Besaid." or "<KASAKI MA>
Besaido Shima <KE KASAKI O> petto Chokobo <MU YUESE MICHISAMI.>" Translating "Isle of
Besaid" and "pet Chocobo" into Al Bhed would be considered wrong.

JAPANESE:
-EXAMPLE : "Watashi wa Besaido Shima he watashi no petto Chokobo wo tsurete ikitai."
-CORRECT  :  "<KASAKI MA> Besaido Shima <KE KASAKI O> petto Chokobo <MU YUESE MICHISAMI.>"
-INCORRECT: "<KASAKI MA ZERAMIGO KIYA KE KASAKI O POSSO HYOYODO MU YUESE MICHISAMI.>"

AMERICAN:
-EXAMPLE : "I want to take my pet Chocobo to the Isle of Besaid."
-CORRECT : "<E fyhd du dyga so> pet Chocobo <du dra> Isle of Besaid."
-INCORRECT: "<E fyhd du dyga so bad Lrulupu du dra Ecma uv Pacyet.>"

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE FOUR : TRANSLATE IT FAST -- KNOW THE FORMULA!
        If you want to learn how to quickly translate Al Bhed is to remember it little by
little. First, know the formula. See, there is a certain formula which makes Al Bhed
quite unique, but easy to learn -- even in both versions of the Game. They follow this
pattern: All of the vowels are grouped together and scrambled, while the consonants are
scrambled amongst each other. There is a similar fashion in the Japanese version in which
the vowels at the end of the characters are the same. Such as take a look at all of the
characters ending with -A, and you'll see that they are grouped together such as KA, MA,
SA, and etc. So this formula of some sort is what makes Al Bhed not that difficult to
learn.  ^^;;  So whenever you encounter any vowels such as A, E, I, O, U, and Y.  You'll
know that they are scrambled amongst each other. After you know that, you can start on
the consonants.  ^^;;  Good luck!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE FIVE : LEARN HOW TO TRANSLATE WORDS INTO AL BHED!
        If you want learn how to write an Al Bhed word in English, is to make sure you are
writing it out first into English and then translate it into Al Bhed. Let's take this
English word, "Laugh", and translate it. If you goto my ENGLISH-AL BHED DECIPHERING GUIDE
and look up the letters L-A-U-G-H, you'll get the Al Bhed word, "<Myikr>". So "<Myikr>" is
Al Bhed for "Laugh". =} Do note that the Japanese does not have the same language as we
do. If you want "Laugh" in Japanese, you have to use the Japanese word: "Warau". Then
goto my ROUMAJI-AL BHED DECIPHERING GUIDE and look up the characters WA-RA-U, and then
you'll get the Al Bhed word, "<KANAFU>". And if you wanted to translate "<Myikr>" or
"<KANAFU>" back to their original language, then goto my AL BHED-ENGLISH or AL BHED-ROUMAJI
DECIPHERING GUIDE.  And then it'll retranslate back to "Laugh" or "Warau".  ^^;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE SIX : TRANSLATE IT RIGHT!
        The most common problem most people have with Al Bhed is that they translate it
into AL BHED-ENGLISH first, and then they get some bizarre phrase like this for example:
"Dni Moon um mucfih." It looks Al Bhed, but guess what? It's nonsense. Now translate
that phrase using AL BHED-ENGLISH, you'll get this bizarre translation: "Tru Moon ol
loswun." Was that in Al Bhed?! Nope. Now let's translate "Dni Moon um mucfih." using
ENGLISH-AL BHED and we get: "The Moon is silver." That is _NOT_ how you would use Al Bhed
correctly! What you do is to ALWAYS remember to translate using ENGLISH-AL BHED first!
The correct translation of the phrase, "The Moon is silver.", is this: "<Dra> Moon <ec
cemjan.>" The same applies to the Japanese version of Al Bhed. Do note that making a
silly mistake like the one I've shown above is quite normal to those who are beginning to
learn Al Bhed.  You can always learn from your mistakes!  ^^;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE SEVEN:  PRONUNCIATION IS KEY!
        As with most languages, anyone can write it. But what separates them is who can
speak the language and who cannot. So pronunciation is key to learning Al Bhed! Like
how 2f said: "The spelling is okay, but prounciation is the key to actually USING the
language." How true he is. Read Section 5.0 and make sure you learn how to pronounce Al
Bhed correctly.  =}

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE EIGHT: HOW TO TYPE UP AL BHED
        Since most people type Al Bhed than speak it, there is a rule to it. American Al
Bhed is CASE SENSITIVE! So you type it like how you would in English such as names and
places are uppercased, and etc. Such as at the Forest of the Ochu, there is a sign which
states:  "<d a b c f n c / J L U E I>"  [Yes, you are gonna read a weird translation, but
that is because there is supposed to be letters in between. ^^;; You have to play the
Game to understand!] That is perfect example how Al Bhed is case sensitive. But with the
Japanese Al Bhed, I keep it in all in captials because that is how I differentiate between
big and little characters such as YU and yu. It's better understandable if you know
Japanese. ^^;; So like if you were to type up: "I love Al Bhed." You would type it up
"<E muja> Al Bhed." or "Aru Bedo Zuku <DA GAMINUCHI.>" But do note that the ONLY time you
would use lowercased characters when typing up the Japanese Al Bhed is when you're
stressing letters. [I keep it in lower cased, so that I would know that it is not supposed
to be translated!] Such as the word: "Maaketto". [Translated: "Market"] You wouldn't
translate it as: "<YAWATESSO.>", you would translate it as: "YAaTESSO.>" [That is what I
do when enountering stressed letters. =P ]

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE NINE : RESPECT AL BHED!
        Most people want to tease Al Bhed and try to make up some silly mambo-jambo and
then call it Al Bhed. This is consider offensive, so don't try to offend those who are
speaking Al Bhed. ^^;; But if you do want to offend those speaking Al Bhed -- shame on
you, why the heck are you reading this anyways?! Anyways, this is a fine example of an
offensive Al Bhed phrase using this phrase, "The Moon is silver.": "Hda Moon oj rymdaz."
That is not Al Bhed even though it appears to be that way. See if you translate it into Al
Bhed, you'll get: "Nte Moon yv haltej." And translate that into English, you'll get:
"Rty Moon uz nostyz." It's just random words fooling people into thinking it's Al Bhed.
Yes, it is consider offensive because it is mocking the Al Bhed language.  -_-;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
RULE TEN : SPEAK/TYPE YOUR OWN AL BHED!
        If you know English, speak/type the American Al Bhed. But if you know Japanese,
speak/type the Japanese Al Bhed. Don't try to assume that you know Japanese and try to
speak/type in Japanese Al Bhed or vice versa. So speak the language you are most familiar
with in Al Bhed. Such as I'm mainly familiar with English, but I do know enough Japanese.
So that is why I can speak/type both versions of Al Bhed.  ^^;;

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES:
        Don't think that speaking/typing in Al Bhed makes you a freak. Most people think
that those who spend their time to fully understand the language and can translate Al Bhed
into their head without the use of a Translator is a freak. =P So you're not a freak for
using a Translator to speak in Al Bhed. And no, I'm not a freak -- I can't translate Al
Bhed in my head, I have to always use a Translator. You just think I'm a freak because
this Al Bhed Guide is pretty comprehensive, no? ^^;; I don't blame ya. LOL~! Anyways,
you are consider normal if you use a Translator, but if you can read an Al Bhed word and
automatically translate it without the use of a Translator, you might need some help.  ^^;;

        Oh yeah, just a random thing to note: The American Al Bhed does have some bugs
which isn't good. Remember when I said NOT to translate a word using AL BHED-ENGLISH
first? Here are some weird exceptions to that rule. If you translated the word, "Dog",
into Al Bhed first than in English, it comes out translated the same way. o.O;; Odd, but
true. See, "Dog" translated into Al Bhed first becomes, "Tyk". And if I translated "Tyk"
into English, it comes out as, "Dog". Even though "Dog" in Al Bhed is supposed to be
"<Tuk>". [I guess Square Soft of America didn't notice that when they were creating the
American Al Bhed language. Tsk tsk. -_-;; ] So even though "Dog" can be translated the
same way using "Tyk" or "<Tuk>", use it correctly and use the word "<Tuk>". Do note that
the Japanese Al Bhed is not buggy at all!

5.0   - PRONUNCIATION GUIDE
        The Al Bhed language is spoken with a Slavic [Indo-European] accent as heard in the
American version. [The Japanese version is not spoken with this accent!] So here are how
you are supposed to pronounce each letter. [Don't try to say the ABC's in Al Bhed, you'll
sound silly. LOL~! I tried!] Do note that when you are speaking Al Bhed, speak it loudly
as if you're yelling since this language is not spoken quietly. This Pronunciation Guide
may not be 100% correct, but it's a 50/50 -- use it wisely. ^^;; Please be sure to goto
the Link below for an easier method on how to pronounce words in Al Bhed!:

S        "see"  / "si"         "<Se>a"        | "<Se>at"       | "<See>k"

        For example, "<Cunno>" [Translation: "Sorry"] is pronounced "KOO-no". If you read
my above pronouncation, the C is pronounced "Koo", the double N is pronounced "Nn", and the
O is pronounced "Oh". We got "Koo-nn-oh", and then we combine the pronouncation together,
and we get: "KOO-no". =P So it's as correct as it can be. Let's use another example,
"<Fyed>" [Translation: "Wait"] is pronounced as "FAY-d". Read above: The F is pronounced
"Fe", the Y is pronounced "Ae", the E is pronounced "Eay", and the D is pronounced "De".
We get "Fe-ae-eay-de", so combine the pronouncation and we get: "FAY-d". =P Heh, Al Bhed
is better written than pronounced sometimes.  LOL~!  ^^;;

        If just trying to figure out how to pronounce Al Bhed letter by letter is pretty
fustrating. Then you might want to try out 2f's Al Bhed Translator with Phonetics at this
Link:  http://pixelscapes.com/twoflower/albhed.html
        Or you can also check out Barak's Bikanel Translator which also includes the
pronunciations!:  http://www.geocities.com/famon_san/

        Both of their Translators not only functions like every other, but it also allows
keywords to be input in and it gives you a tip on how to pronounce the Al Bhed that you are
speaking so you won't pronounce them wrongly. I would cringe to hear "Hello" in Al Bhed,
"<Rammu>", to be wrongly pronounced as "RAM-moo". When it's supposed to be "RAahmmoo" or
"RAH-moo". [Either way, it's correct!] I highly recommend using them for those who want
to tell off their mad Al Bhed skillz to their friends -- you crazy FFX Fan you. =P

6.0   - AL BHED DICTIONARIES/PRIMERS LOCATIONS
        Here are the locations of the Al Bhed Dictionaries/Primers that you will find at
Spira. Unlike most Guides about the Locations of the Dictionaries/Primers, I tried my best
to give out detailed explinations of where you can find them. [Do note that if any of them
are incorrect, please e-mail me at enigmaopoeia@hotmail.com about it because I directly
translated these locations from Japanese -- so they may sound awkward!] When you find a
Dictionary/Primer, it will translate a certain character[s], and the translated text will
appear in red while the untranslated Al Bhed would still remain in blue. When looking at
an Al Bhed Dictionary/Primer, it goes by that the Al Bhed letter is shown first and then
the translation of that letter/character after it.:

which you have all 26 Volumes, and then VOILA! Everyone is speaking in your native tongue.
But do note that Tidus still says that he doesn't understand Al Bhed in the beginning of
the Game. -_-;; Also, I'm also unsure that if you don't collect _ANY_ of the Al Bhed
Dictionaries/Primers, would Tidus still act he knows Al Bhed at the Airship? o.O;; I
think Square Soft didn't focus on that much, probably.
        Also, do note that 30 of the Reverse Key/Underdog's Secrets gives you "Double Over
Drives", so equip that to 3 of your favorite Party Members! There are more uses for them,
but I'm gonna ask Ceebs! for permission to post them. ^~
        I heard that you can get them at the Highbridge, can anyone confirm that?  ^^;;

8.0   - AL BHED RANKINGS
        While on the Al Bhed Salvage Ship, you will find an Al Bhed Dictionary/Primer.
Whenever you have acquired a certain amount of Dictionaries/Primers, a popup window would
appear -- telling you about your Al Bhed ranking depending on how many Dictionaries/Primers
you find around Spira. The rankings goes as so: 4-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-4. So every 3 or 4 Al
Bhed Dictionaries/Primers you find, you will advance a rank! Here are the rankings!:
[NOTE: ## means number of Dictionaries/Primers found!]

11.0 - SCRIPTS IN JAPANESE AL BHED
[NOTE: This is incomplete! It's SO under construction!]
        The Japanese script in Final Fantasy X. Do note that if the text is blue, it is in
Al Bhed. If the text is red, that means that it is translated or it is a keyword. This is
so that you can recap on what the Al Bhed's say and you can read it for your enjoyment.
The Japanese is translated to the best of my knowledge. [They have a 20% of being wrong!
So you can trust my translations!] I'm not fluent, but I taught myself Japanese for five
years and damned proud of the translations I do. I also provided the Roumaji. ^^;; The
names I use such as Blue Bandanna, Masked Knife, and etc. are the names I created so I can
differentiate these nameless Al Bhed's! THESE ARE NOT THEIR OFFICIAL NAMES~!!!:

DIALOGUE LEGEND - What each of these means!:
"<...>" = Words spoken with brackets in between means they are speaking in Al Bhed.
            [NOTE: The keywords are taken out of brackets!]
"..." = Words spoken with quotations are spoken in Japanese.
^-"..." = Words spoken with ^- are translated from Japanese into English.

12.0 - SCRIPTS IN AMERICAN AL BHED
[NOTE: This is incomplete! It's SO under construction!]
        The American script in Final Fantasy X. Do note that if the text is blue, it is in
Al Bhed. If the text is red, that means that it is translated or it is a keyword. This is
so that you can recap on what the Al Bhed's say and you can read it for your enjoyment.
The names I use such as Blue Bandanna, Masked Knife, and etc. are the names I created so I
can differentiate these nameless Al Bhed's!

^-"..." = Words spoken with ^- are translated from American Al Bhed into English.

COMMENTS: This is a well-made Javascript Translator by Sailor Bacon. =} It's perfect in
           every way with four options: AL BHED TO ENGLISH, ENGLISH TO AL BHED, MIXED TEXT
           TO ENGLISH, and MIXED TEXT TO AL BHED. The only different option you'll see is
           the "MIXED TEXT" option. What it does is allows keywords, all you do is
           capitalize the keywords and leave the rest for it to be translated into Al Bhed.

COMMENTS: For those who prefer to keep their Javascript disabled. This is a very nicely
           done Translator. It has done away with the TRANSLATE button since it translates

COMMENTS: TOTALLY ORIGINAL! Unlike most run-of-the-mill Translators, 2f went just a step
           further and added in the pronunciations of the Al Bhed. If you input "Hello"
           and translated it: It would appear as "Rammu" along with the pronunciation,
           "RAahmmoo". And yep, that's is how you pronounce "Rammu". =P The keywords

COMMENTS: This Translator by Tenluusan doesn't have a pleasing layout. I find it kinda
           fustrating to scroll down to get to the Translator when it can be compressed to
           fix into one page without scrolling. -_-;; This is quite possibly one of the
           most horrible Translators I've seen! You type up the Al Bhed-Japanese in the
           top bar, and the Japanese-Al Bhed in the bottom bar. When you click on the
           button which translates it: You are sent to a new page which features your
           words translated. I dunno, but I think that's just disappointing because then
           I have to click on the BACK button to translate some more. >_< This Translator
           isn't confusing for Gaijins, but I would avoid this like the plague. My
           apologies to Tenluusan. Also, it doesn't allow keywords to be input, so Aru

           Translator is in two frames with Japanese-Al Bhed on top and Al Bhed-Japanese on
           bottom. And the bars which allows the long case are WAY TOO LARGE for my

COMMENTS: HOLY SIVA, A TRANSLATOR WORTHY OF 10 STARS?!?! o_O;; CAN IT BE TRUE?! Well,
           here it is for your viewing. Barak wasn't kidding when he stated: "I then set

           is such a thing as the perfect translator out there. ^^;; And here is living
           proof! The keywords have to be input it by either encasing them in between

           long case of words to be translated; it isn't character friendly; it doesn't
           have the "LET FIRST LETTER DECIDE" option; and it is missing three letters as
           mention above [They are translated as an asterik * ]. Also, it doesn't allow
           keywords to be input, so Al Bhed becomes Ym Prat. But what makes FFX Desktop
           different is that it has two features: COUNTDOWN [Which was featured before the
           release of FFX! It isn't useful now. ^^;; ] and an INTERNAL CLOCK [It tells
           you the time. =P ] Also, FFX Desktop has a background of the lovely Yoshitaka
           Amano artwork of the FFX logo. [NOTE: This program requires the MSVBVM60.DLL
           file which is featured in the Link!]

           Like most great Translators out there: It has pronunciations, a nice layout of
           Rikku, and features something new: TRANSLATE LENGTH and ORIGINAL LENGTH. [Both
           are pretty self-explinatory!] The keywords have to be input it by encasing them
           in between plus signs.  Really nice program for those offline Al Bheds.  ^^;;

COMMENTS: Though the pink background can get to you. This Translator isn't one of the
           best I've seen. -_-;; First of all, it can ONLY translate Japanese into Al
           Bhed, you cannot translate from Al Bhed into Japanese. Which kinda sucks. This
           isn't complicated for Gaijins. The top button is TRANSLATE and the bottom
           button is CLEAR. Also, it doesn't allow keywords to be input, so Aru Bedo

HONORABLE MENTION!:
        Because I don't have a Japanese computer, I cannot read Japanese in programs. So
I really cannot give a review of this other Japanese Translator. This Translator looks
VERY promising! But if only the text in the program can be in Japanese. *snaps fingers*

14.0 - SONGS IN AL BHED
        Here are the Final Fantasy X Songs, except they are written in Al Bhed. See how
fun it is to sing a Song in Al Bhed. =P I tried my best to translate them into Al Bhed,
and trying to keep a few keywords in there! "Song Of Prayer" isn't added because the
meaning is understood better in Japanese rather than in Al Bhed.  ^^;;

        The only Track with Al Bhed in the title is in Disc 01 and it's Track 15 titled
"<CHII> Wa Aru Bedo Zuku". Many have translated this as "Chee Is An Alvedo Tribe" or "Al
Bhed Tribe's Chi" which are the incorrect titles. The correct title to this is: "<CHII>
Are An Al Bhed". "<CHII>" is the Japanese Al Bhed for "Kimi" which translates to "You".
So it basically translates to: "You Are An Al Bhed". If you wanted to write it out for
the American Al Bhed, it'll be: "<OUI> Are An Al Bhed". I just wanted to confirm and
correct this for everyone!  ^^;;

15.0 - AL BHED "DID YOU NOTICE?" MINI-GUIDE
        Following the traditions of my "Did You Notice?" Guides, here is a Mini-Guide which
talks some interesting and useless knowledge about the Al Bhed's. ^^;; :

[HIGHLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION!]

-AIM is <YES> and AOL is <YUM> in Al Bhed! LMAO!!! Subliminal messages~!!!
-[From Jeremy] Al Bhed should not be consider a separate language, but rather a dialect.
 Dialect means "A regional or social variety of a language distinguished by pronunciation,
 grammar, or vocabulary, especially a variety of speech differing from the standard
 literary language or speech pattern of the culture in which it exists".  ^^;;
-[From Mark] "Oh I See" in English comes out as "Ur E Caa" [Looks like "Eureka"] in Al
 Bhed! ^^;; [NOTE: I know it's pronounced: "OO-ra EAY kuahah". Let me have my fun!]
-Here are the Al Bhed's names that are mentioned in the Game:
 ROUMAJI  = TRANSLATION [AMERICAN VERSION]:
 Ryukku   = Rikku     | Aniki    = Brother   | Shido    = Cid       | Rin      = Lin [Rin]
 Rakkamu  = Lakkam    | Yuuda    = Judda     | Burappa  = Blappa    | Rumuniku = Rumnic
 Berikku  = Berrik    | Eigaa    = Eigaar    | Needaa   = Naida     |
-The complete list of Al Bheds that play Blitz Ball: Berrik, Blappa, Eigaar, Judda, Kyou,
 Lakkam, Linna, Naida, Nedus, Nimrook, Lin [Rin], and Rop.
-When you first encounter the Al Bheds at the Marine/Submerged Ruins, most don't know, but
 they have names. The one who pulled the knife on you wearing a gas mask is named Nedus.
 The heavy set Al Bhed who wore a blue bandanna is named Rop. And the Al Bhed wearing the
 goggles is named ???. [Can anyone help me figure out his name? ^^;; ]

QUIZ RANKINGS:
        Now here are the Rankings! Remember that LEVEL means how many questions you got
correct! If you answered 5 correctly, you are a Level 5 Al Bhed! ^^;; I wrote some cute
descriptions next to your rankings, so have a good laugh, dammit! LOL~!:

LEVEL    AL BHED RANKING      DESCRIPTION
LV. 00 Al Bhed <Rydan> You don't like the Al Bheds in general. You might be better
                              off striving to be a Summoner! Don't worry, an Al Bhed would
                              save you one day if you try to kill yourself for "Sin"! ^~
LV. 01 Al Bhed <Hujela> You are just starting out on learning about Al Bhed, and you
                              want to be able to speak it. Because of your spirit, you
                              shouldn't give up on learning it, just like what Tidus did!
LV. 02 Al Bhed <Pakehhan> You don't know much, but you know you can do it! You never
                              give up on learning Al Bhed and you're still trying to
                              remember your letters one by one! Don't give up!
LV. 03 Al Bhed <Typpman> You speak in broken Al Bhed, but that isn't bad since you
                              think that speaking in English and Al Bhed mixed together is
                              a pretty kewl combination: "I'm yfacusa, you know it!" =P
LV. 04 Al Bhed <Vyh> You love the Al Bheds, and one day you told yourself that you
                              can be an "Al Bhed <Vnayg>" and you're starting your Al Bhed
                              collection even as we speak! =P GO FOR IT~!
LV. 05 Al Bhed <Maynhan> You like to help those who knows less Al Bhed than you since
                              you both can learn to speak Al Bhed together. You're afraid
                              to speak it out loud since you might make mistakes.  ^^;;
LV. 06 Al Bhed <Cditahd> You might enroll in a School that teaches Al Bhed and
                              hopefully one day, you might be an "Al Bhed <Daylran>". But
                              you'll have to endure 'dem homework every day.  ^^;;
LV. 07 Al Bhed <Cbaygan> You're not surprised to see people coming to you and making
                              sure they are saying their Al Bhed correctly since you are
                              learning as well. Who knows if you'll learn something new!
LV. 08 Al Bhed <Hydeja> You call your house, Al Bhed Home. You call your father Cid.
                              Hell, even the sandbox in the playground is dubbed Sanubia
                              Desert! =P You wish you could live in Spira!
LV. 09 Al Bhed <Daylran> You are ready to open up your own School and teach others
                              about Al Bhed, but even so, you're not perfect. Sometimes
                              you have to look up the Al Bhed to make sure you're correct!
LV. 10 Al Bhed <Unydun> You can speak it really well, and you can even do speeches in
                              Al Bhed if you're crazy enough! But don't speak it out too
                              loudly or earplugs may be a requirement.  ^^;;
LV. 11 Al Bhed <Medanyda> Your true knowledge of Al Bhed lies in your writing. You
                              know how to write Al Bhed very well, and we'll shall not talk
                              about the many books you've written in Al Bhed. ^~
LV. 12 Al Bhed <Synjam> You know that you can speak Al Bhed really well! And because
                              you are an "Al Bhed <Synjam>", you might be crazy enough to
                              call yourself: <Kukkmac Syh>, Speaker of Al Bhed! LOL~!
LV. 13 Al Bhed <Sycdan> You can speak Al Bhed fluently, but that's where it stops.
                              You're not overly obsessed about them, but learning the
                              language is as far as it goes. You know you got mad skillz!
LV. 14 Al Bhed <Vnayg> You got replicas of the Al Bhed Dictionary/Primers around
                              your house; no one dares touch your goggles collection; and
                              you even own Al Bhed Action Figurines! You are a true Fan!
LV. 15 Al Bhed <Fyhhypa> You try your hardest to be like them: You've dyed your hair
                              blonde, you have green contacts on, and you speak Al Bhed
                              fluently.  You are a <Fynnypa> and proud of it!  ^^;;
LV. 16 <Bina> Al Bhed With your great knowledge on Al Bhed, many asked you if you
                              were really an Al Bhed in your past life. Then again, they
                              don't know why you really wear goggles, huh? ^~

        I would love to do a Hall of Records for those who took the Al Bhed Quiz, but there
is no way to confirm whether or not they've cheated to get the highest rankings. And it'll
be unfair if everyone listed was a "<Bina> Al Bhed". -_-;; So, cunno, no Hall of Records!

18.0  - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
        Here is a listing of the questions and answers people might have about Al Bhed.:

QUESTION #01: Why is the Roumaji Al Bhed written in CAPITAL LETTERS?
  ANSWER #01: Because it's supposed to separate the small letters sometimes used in the Al
               Bhed language. Such as with a large YU and a small yu, what makes them
               different is when you are supposed to spell out stuff. Like with the word,
               Shu, you must write out the word: SHIyu. [It's understandable if you know
               Japanese. ^^;; ] That tells you that a large SHI and a small yu makes up
               that word. But I won't write it out like SHIyu, I will write it as SHU.
               So when you see the word SHU written in Al Bhed, you know you need to look
               up the large SHI and the small yu for it's translation or look at the -H's
               translation I have up on Section 3.0!

QUESTION #02: Why did you write the Japanese Al Bhed like this, "<YOMIYU HASHI KOO GA?>",
               and not "<YOMIYU HATSUKOOGA?>"?
  ANSWER #02: Because that is Japanese bunched up together. Like if I was to write "I'm
               sorry" in Japanese -- I would write down "Gomen nasai!", not "Gomennasai!".
               Yes, it is written as "<YOMIYU HATSUKOOGA?>" in the Japanese version, but I
               arranged it so that if you were to translate it word for word -- it's
               readable and easier to translate it in Japanese. Well, that's how I feel
               about it.  Sorry to those that doesn't like it.  ^^;;

QUESTION #03: I didn't liked how you wrote the reviews of the Online Al Bhed Translators!
  ANSWER #03: Remember, these are my opinions about them. Ever heard that I'm entitled
               to my own opinions? o.O;; If you don't like my review, then you don't have
               to listen to me. Go and use whatever Al Bhed Translator suits your needs.
               My personal favorite Al Bhed Translators to use are: roadkill's, Rich's,
               2f's, Jitoh's, Sailor Bacon's, and Barak's.  ^^;;

QUESTION #04: Why wasn't there Al Bhed Dictionaries for characters like "SHA", "SHU",
               "SHO", and etc.?
  ANSWER #04: Because you can already translate them via using the character "SHI" and
               combining it with "ya", "yu", and "yo". No need for that. ^^;; Also, then
               it'll be harder for the American Al Bhed to distribute between their letters
               because the Japanese and American doesn't have the same alphabet.  ^^;;

QUESTION #05: Why don't you write this whole Guide in Al Bhed?
  ANSWER #05:  <Yuna> You're . . . kidding . . . aren't . . . you . . . ? </Yuna>

QUESTION #06: Why don't you create your own Al Bhed Translator?
  ANSWER #06: Because I dunno how to, I have zero to nothing programming skills. If I
               did, I would create an international Translator which covers Al Bhed,
               English, Roumaji, Katakana, and Hiragana. ^^;; Besides, my good Al Bhed
               vneaht, Barak, did that for me and he's awesome~!!! ^~

QUESTION #07:  What's your gender?
  ANSWER #07:  101% Female.  =}

QUESTION #08: Why do most call you a male?
  ANSWER #08:  Beats me.  *shrugs*  ^^;;  Maybe I don't sound feminine enough.  o.O;;

QUESTION #09: Can we exchange e-mails and chat?
  ANSWER #09: I'm REALLY bad with e-mails -- your best bet is to chat with me via the
               "GameFAQs" Final Fantasy X Message Board @ http://www.gamefaqs.com
               My handle is enigmaopoeia, duh.  =P  I'm ultra-friendly, so I don't bite.

QUESTION #10: Where did you learn Japanese? Are you Japanese?
  ANSWER #10: I'm Half-Korean. And I taught myself Japanese. See, there is no Japanese
               classes where I live, so I took matter into my own hands and taught myself.
               I have taught myself Japanese for over 6 years now. =P I can read Hiragana
               and Katakana pretty well, and I can make out very few Kanji. But I cannot
               speak the language.  I read it better if I use an online Translator.  ^^;;

QUESTION #11: Can you teach me Japanese?
  ANSWER #11: Cunno, you have to teach yourself or take a class. ^^;; It's hard enough
               as is teaching myself!

QUESTION #12: Can I use this Al Bhed Guide for my Rikku Shrine, Al Bhed Shrine, Gaming
               Website, or my Final Fantasy X Fansite?
  ANSWER #12: Read my LEGAL AND LINKS Section below. I would get ticked if I see people
               using my Guide without my permission! >=( Even if you use snippets of it,
               that's still plaguarizing my work! I know my work when I see it! >_<
