VERSION HISTORY (last updated 01/02/02)
0.1	12/28/01 First version of the FAQ. This is defenetly not
the last. I got about halfway through advenutre mode. Rest
will come soon!
0.2	12/30/01 Finished Adventure mode and got some new combos
thanks to Caspar Hansen. I also added a new chapter called
"Good Bowser Combos" I have a couple up. Send in any good
combos if you know them. I'll check 'em out and post them if
they're good. More work to be done soon!
0.3	01/02/02 Added little "stickers" to each chapter telling you
if it's complete or not. Also, I finished classic. Got new
combos also. Also, thanks to Supersmash20, I corrected the
Spinning Shell move. It is actually called the Whirling
Fortress. Added Legal Info also. And one more thing: I'm
thinking of putting in a walkthrough for how to beat All
Star mode. More to come! Happy New Year!

BOWSER INTRODUCTION
Bowser has been in many games before including the first NES game Super Mario
Bros., Super Mario 64, Mario Tennis, and Mario Party 1,2,and 3. He has been
Mario's rival for years and always seems to kidnap Princess Peach in almost all of
those games. (Nintendo must've run out of stories for games.) Rarly has he been on
Mario's side (Super Mario RPG). Bowser now makes it into Super Smash Bros. Melee
as a strong, strong character. Bowser can become one of your best characters when
you learn how to use him!

Special Moves

FIRE BREATH (B button (hold))
Bowser never brushes his teeth (probably) so bad breath is usually what you'll
smell if you get hit by this move. Bowser will let out a bunch of fire. This move
won't send your opponent flying, but it is great to keep them from getting close
to you. When enemies are on a lower platform, use the fire breath to hit them.
Also, when your opponent flies off the platform, use this to prevent them from
getting back. The only bad part is that after you use it, it needs a moment to
reacharge.

KOOPA CLAW (left or right+B)
This move can be used in far range and in short range. The dangerous one is short
range but it is more powerful. If you are close to the enemy, when you use the
Koopa Claw, you will pull them in close and bite them. If you are further away,
you will slash.

WHIRLING FORTRESS (up+B)
This is your third jump and is an exellent move. When you use this Bowser will get
inside his shell and start spinning. If you are in the air, it'll give you a
little more height and hangtime. On the ground, you can just stand in one spot and
use this move whenever enemies dare to get near you!

BOWSER BOMB (down+B)
This is a powerful move, but it is risky. When you use the Bowser Bomb you will
slam onto the ground and damage any enemy who is unlucky enough to get slammed. If
you miss, it will you open to a conter-attack while you get up.

BOWSER FIGHTING TATICS
Bowser has his good things and his bad. He is very heavy so he isn't easy to throw
and he is extremly powerful. But he is also very slow so running away from enemies
won't help if your facing a character like Yoshi or Pikachu. So you need to learn
how to avoid being destryed by lightweights. These characters are the characters
I'm talking about: Pikachu, Peach, Yoshi, Mario, Fox, Ness, Ice Climbers, Kirby,
Zelda/Sheik, Jigglypuff, Luigi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mr. Game and Watch, Young Link,
Falco, Pichu, and Roy. In other words, nearly all of them. If you are a Super
Smash Bros. Player, then you probably won't need to read this but if you are a
begginer, you should look at this chapter.

Most characters can just run up to Bowser and hit him.. So you need to learn one
of the more difficult things: power over speed. You can't just run up to an item
while someone else is. They'll probably beat you. You need to knock them away.

When racing to somthing while an enemy is doing the same you need to try to swipe
at them or grab and throw them. Don't use a move like the Bowser Bomb because if
you miss, the enemy will get way ahead of you. Use moves that won't slow you down
like the Horn Smash. If the enemy is behind you then you need to focus on making
sure the enemy doesn't hit you.

If you want to reach a platform before your opponent does then you need to do some
midair attacks while jumping. The Whirling Fortress is a definete plus and the
Horn Toss works good too. Make sure that when you reach the platform, your ready
with an attack to knock your opponent down. This tatic will defenetly come in use
on levels like Brinstar of the F-Zero Grand Prix.

And finally, once you master all of that, you can go into risky stuff. (I mean
like a chance of loosing a life). For example, if an enemy is about to leap back
onto the stage with their third jump then jump right off the platform and hit
them. They'll fall down to their doom. If you miss though, you need to get back up
on the platform before you fall down to your doom.

GOOD BOWSER COMBOS
In this chapter you will see good combos used to defeat enemies. Got a few up
myself and one from Caspar Hanson. E-mail me if you know a good combo!

By me frog: Start off with the Fire Breath then slash them into the air. Whil they
are still in the air, use a Whirling Fortress When they land, do a Bowser Bomb.

By me frog: Begin by welcoming the enemy with a ton of slashes and then burn them
with the Fire Breath. Now use the Hammer Head move and then pick them up and use
the Blender.

By Caspar Hansen: a good opening combo is to do a dash attack, then a slightly
charged upwards smash which should deal at least 20-30% from the get-go.

By Incrediblehulkk1: Do a downwards smash attack, then an upwards smash while they
are in the air, then juggle them.

By Claw0Daddy: Do a fire breath then bite them 3-4 or 2 times then toss 'em down
while holding them (he should do his Whirling Fortress)then jump
towards them do another bite while in the air then smack em down and do a bowser
bomb.

ADVENTURE MODE
Okay you've read all that up there. Well now here are the ways of mastering
adventure mode!

STAGE ONE
Mmushroom Kingdom 7 minutes

You have seven minutes to complete stage 1-1. You'll have to fight your way
through Goombas, Koopas, and Yoshis. Be on the look out for a trophy because one
might appear.

Seven minutes is a while so don't hurry. You can get a few extra points by KOing a
Goomba. Use Bowser's fire breath or you can just hop on them. Beware of the Koopas
though. They'll start rocketing back and forth if you hit them twice and if you
get hit enough, you'll rocket into the air and loose a life. Avoid them by using
Bowser's Whirling Fortress. Make sure you don't fall in the water! If you do
you'll loose a life and start over at the last pipe you passed. Halfway through
the stage you'll meet Toad. The game will zoom in on the platform and you'll meet
10 Yoshis. You will battle up to three at a time and the guys are pretty easy. Use
somthing like the Whirling Fortress and that will be enough to beat them. After
you beat all 10 you can continue. The stage is almost complete so just use your
spins and slashs to get through the rest and reach the flag.

VS. MARIO AND PEACH 4 minutes

If you run past the flag in 1-1 with your seconds ending with a two, you'll battle
Luigi instead of Mario.

It doesn't matter which one because both will basically do the same thing. The
princess and plumber will try to sourround you so use somthing like the Bowser
Bomb when they get close and you'll smash both of them. Then you can begin a combo
like Whirling Fortress followed by horn charge. Remember these characters are
bother lightweights so use the tatics in the Bowser fighting tatics chapter to
reach items and platforms. Watch out for Bill Bullets because they will somtimes
appear near the top tower of the castle a explode. The explosion can damage you a
lot. Just keep spinning, slashing, and charging to defeat the team.

STAGE TWO
Kongo Jungle 4 minutes

VS. TINY DONKY KNOG (2)

These Kongs are small so that makes them even faster, but they aren't very
powerful. A basic move like th Whirling Fortress will probably defeat them. Don't
try to attack right next to them because they are too small a target and you might
miss. Don't grab there is a 9/10 chance you'll miss. Fire Breath, Whirling
Fortress, and Bowser Bomb are the three attacks that you should use to defeat
these two monkeys.

VS. GIANT DONKEY KONG 4 minutes

After you beat 2-1 you'll fight a Giant DK. You're in luck because Giant DK is
slower than you are. DK isn't a quick fight so greet him with a barrage of
scratches and slashes and follow it off with somthing like Fire Breath or Koopa
Claw. Giant DK is one of the best opponents (besides Giga Bowser) to use your
Bowser Bomb on because he is such a big target. He can be defeated quickly if you
use your attacks right. Beware of his Spinning Kong move because that can damage
you quite a bit. Use the Whirling Fortress whenever he tries to get close to you.
If you use these techniques, you should beat him.

STAGE THREE
Underground Maze 7 minutes

This is Link's location. There are six rooms. Five of those rooms have a different
colored Link and one has the triforce. The locations of Link and the Triforce
change every time you play the level so ii will be no good to memorize the
location of the triforce, which lets you exit the maze.

Again you don't have to worry about being in a hurry but don't dawdle too much.
This is more challenging then the Mushroom Kingdom stage and if you aren't carful,
you can easily loose a life. The maze is infested with Octoroks, LikeLikes, and
ReDeads. Take a moment to kill at least one of each enemy as they are worth bonus
points. The Octoroks are weak and a Whirling Fortress (I seem to use that attack a
lot) is a great weapon. The ReDeads should be hit with a far range attack like the
Koopa Claw because if you get too colse, they'll grab you and squeeze. If your
grabbed, move the control stick back and forth to escape. The Bowser Bomb is also
a good choice for the ReDeads. LikeLikes are little in population and you have to
be careful because they will drop down on you unexpectedly and damage you. The
pratically don't move at all so the Bowser Bomb is a good choice for them.

The Link battles are simple. Use the Whirling Fortress and Koopa Claw to damage
him and then grab him and use the Reverse Throw move. If he tries to leap back
onto the platform be ready with your Fire Breath to prevent him from getting back
up.

If you are in a hurry, you don't even have to battle Link. If you see a room with
a Master Sword, turn around. If you get too close though, you'll have to battle
Link. Once you find the Triforce, you can exit the Underground Maze.

VS. ZELDA/SHEIK 4 minutes

This battle can be easy if you focus on fighting and don't just throw out slashes
and scratches. You should start a nice combo with your fire breath. Follow it with
the Koopa Claw and in the air do a Whirling Fortress and then the Bowser Bomb. If
all goes well Zelda should have about 50% damage. The castle is very large so find
a tight spot like the little tunnel to battle to get Zelda's damage high then lead
her to the edge of a platform and use your reverse throw move. Sometimes, Zelda
will attempt to transform into Sheik and when that happens, hit her with any
attack. She won't transform and she'll take damage. If she does transform into
Sheik, you'll need to work out a new combo. In the little tunnel start off with
your fire breath again and then you might want to grab her and use your Blender
attack. You can also use the Reverse Throw and she'll bounce off the walls. Then
you might want to follow with another fire breath and then a Spinning Shell. Then
lead her to the edge and use your Reverse Throw.

STAGE 4
Brinstar 4 minutes

VS. SAMUS

If you played Super Smash Bros., then you should recgonize this area. Brinstar
hasn't really changed except now you'll loosew a life if you fall instead of just
getting burned by acid. The acid will still rise so remeber the Bowser fighting
tatic for getting to a platform. Samus is strong, but her attacks take a while to
do. If she attempts to charge up he gun, do a Bowser Bomb on her to stop the
charge. Use the Whirling Fortress a lot to keep Samus from getting to you and make
her get burned by the acid. When the arena begins to rumble, jump to the highest
platform and keep Samus from following. This is really all you have to do to beat
Samus.

WARNING!
Escape from Brinstar! 40 seconds

Brinstar is about to explode and you have 40 seconds to escape. Thee arena is just
a series of platforms that you need to jump on. It's is always best to use your
second jump when your at the peak of your first and do the same thing with the
second. Just keep jumping up the platforms and be on the lookout for a trophy. If
you fail, you'll make it to stage five, but loose a life.

STAGE 5
Green Greens 4 minutes

This battle is extremly simple. You need to battle one rugular sized Kirby to
complete the stage. Use a Bowser Bomb on Kirby and the Whirling Fortress. You
should also do a couple of smash attacks. When Kirby's damage is about 100, use a
reverse throw.

STAGE 5-2 4 minutes

After you beat Kirby you'll have to fight fifteen more Kirby's, each mimicing a
Super Smash Bros. Melee character. Like the Yoshis, you'll face up to three
Kirby's at a time. Try to get a couple of Kirbys near each other and then use the
Bowser Bomb on 'em. The Kirbys are pretty easy. Somthing like the Whirling
Fortress or the Koopa Claw will take care of them. Also a Reverse Throw is a good
choice. Another good thing is to do an upwards smash attack on them. The Kirby's
will fly way up high and die. (Not die but I couldn't think of anything to
insert). Also, if you charge the upwards smash, you could probably knock out all
of the Kirby's on the screen. (thank you Caspar Hansen).

<BONUS> STAGE 5-3 4 minutes
If you beat stage 5-2 in leass than thirty seconds, you'll get a bonus battle
against a giant Kirby. This Kriby has its own bonus, the Giant Kirby KO, which
gives you an extra 10,000 points. Giant Kriby can be easily felled. He is a
perftect target for the Bowser Bomb and he moves slow. You won't have much of an
effect if you throw him at low damage so begin a combo with fire breath, Koopa
Claw, Sratch Left and Right, Whirling Fortress (I love that move) and then a
Bowser Bomb. When you have inflected about 100% damage on Giant Kirby, use a
Reverse Throw.

STAGE 6 4 minutes

VS. FOX
Stage 6 takes you to Corneria on the Great Fox. Every once and a while, an Arwing
will come and blast. You can get on top of it but get off before it leaves the
screen or you'll get dropped. Use the Whirling Fortress attack on Fox but don't
use the Bowser Bomb because Fox is pretty fast. Try to do a couple of combos that
end with a smash attack or a grab move. The Bowser Slam Grab Move is a great way
to end a combo. Just make sure you don't repeat moves too much unless you want the
"Stale Moves" bonus (-2000). If you follow these instructions, you should beat
him.

VS. FOX...... AGAIN! 4 minutes
Fox's team, Peppy, Slippy, and Falco, have come to beat the crap out of you
because you beat Fox. Now you'll have to vs. Fox (sometimes Falco if you have
unlocked him) again. This time he is wearing a cool suit and the three allies of
the Star Fox team will fly around in their Arwings shooting and shooting and
shooting. There is one really good thing out of this: They can harm Fox too. Try
to use moves that will send Fox into the air so the laser fire will hit him and
send him even hire. Use your double lummp to get up to Fox (be careful of the
lasers) and then use the Whirling Fortress attack on him. He'll go even higher
into the air. Hopefully, you'll KO him but if he falls, just do the same kind of
torture again. He'll eventually dissapear off the screen. Now you can get out of
Corneria and onto......

STAGE 7
Pokemon Stadium 4 minutes
This has to be the easiest battle yet. Fifteen Pikachus (sometimes Jigglypuff or
Pichu will appear if you've unlocked them) have come to try to stop you. The
stadium looks flat but after a while (you'll prbably have won before this happens)
the stadium will change and prduce platforms and different terrain. You should use
the same type of stratagy that you used on the Kirbys. Do the upwards smash attack
combo (that seems to work the best) and the Whirling Fortress on them. You should
beat them in about 25 seconds (on Easy) about 50 (on Normal) or a minute or two on
Hard and Very Hard (dunno havn't played those difficulties yet). That's it. You've
cleared Stage 7. No other battles at all.

STAGE 8
Big Blue (F-Zero Grand Prix) 4 minutes
Great! You're just in time to see the F-Zero Grand Prix. Problem is all the seats
are taken so you'll have to make yourself comfortable on the track itself. You
must race to the end of this track while dodging tons of F-Zero veichles. Thre are
platforms above the track that will keep you safe. When you get control of Bowser,
start running right (double tab the control stick to the right and hold the second
time). This is where you need to use all of your Bowser fight tatics to stay
alive. Biwser runs slow so you need to give your all. Run until a little (!)
appears over your head. You should have made it to at least the third platform in
the air. Jump over to it. If you don't see it use your triple jump while running
and you should land on it. Wait until all of the cars have passed then start
running again. If you get hit by one car you'll take 35% damage so that would add
up to about 105% damage if you get hit and don't make it to the platform before
the cars pass. About halfway through the track (almost three quarters) you'll come
to a sloping platform hanging in the air. Jump to it and continue running. DON'T
press down here or you'll fall through. Now jump to the next platform. If the (!)
appears over your head on this platform then just duck and you won't get hit
(don't try this with any others). The next two platforms are pink and if the (!)
appears over your head while you are on either of these platforms, just stop
Bowser and stand because the cars will fly over you. After you jump to the
platform with the red mark just continue running and you will make it to the
finish after about 7 more seconds.

VS. CAPTAIN FALCON
You're still on the track and this time, you're on a flying platform fighting
Cpatain Falcon. Right when the battle begins use your shield or a Whirling
Fortress beacus Falcon will use his Raptor Boost on you. Use combos like the Fire
Breath/Whirling Fortress/Bowser Bomb to get his damage high. His Falcon Punch is
his most powerful but it takes about two seconds to do and it won't send you off
the screen so just hit him when he begins to yell "Falcon Punch!" and you will
stop him. Sometimes the platform will land and you'll fight on the ground while F-
Zero cars race past you. When the (!) appears over your head and it says GO then
get towards the middle and you'll be back on the flying platform again. Just use
your strongest attacks and do something like the Bowser Bomb when he starts his
Falcon Punch and you'll beat him.

STAGE 9
Onett 4 minutes
In this stage you'll battle three different colored Nesses. They aren't as hard as
usual, but aren't as easy as team Kirby and Pikachu. Right when the battle starts
use your Whirling Fortress on a Ness. The platforms in the middle sometimes
collapse and cars can sometimes rush through the streets too. When the (!) appears
over your head get off the street. You don't have to focus on one Ness at a time.
Get them close together, then use a Whirling Fortress or a Bowser Bomb. That is
really all it takes to beat this level.

STAGE 10
Icicle Mountain 4 minutes
In this stage, the Ice Climbers will appear after you have scaled the mountain for
about 50 seconds. Use your double jumps (Whirling Fortress to if needed) to scale
the mountain while dodging Polar Bears and Topis. Don't try to battle the Polar
Bears. They are tough and you won't be able to keep up with the mountain (the
stage scrolls up and down most of the time). The Topsis are very easy though. Keep
using your jumps to climb the mountain. After about 40 seconds, the scrolling will
speed up so don't make a mistake or you'll get left behind and loose a life.

VS. ICE CLIMBERS (continued form last 4 minutes)
Two pairs of Ice Climbers will appear after 50 seconds. You only have to defeat
both Popos (the one dressed in blue and the one dressed in green) to win but it
might be better if you just focus on taking them all out. Use moves like the
Whirling Fortress and Bowser Bomb to take them out. Also use the Koopa Claw
because you can grab 'em and toss 'em away. Using these stratagies, you should be
able to defeat them.

STAGE 11
Battlefield 4 minutes

VS. WIREFRAMES
Okay there are fifteen Wireframes each one a different character. You know what to
do with these by now judging by your expirences with the Kirbys and Pikachus. Just
use the same techniques and you'll beat them in no time.

VS. MARIO AND LUIGI (METAL) 4 minutes
Solid metal. These guys till aren't that tough. Never let them sourround you
because they'll inflect heavy damage on you if they bother attack. Add to their
famage little by little with a few scratches and Whirling Fortress then use a
Reverse Throw on them. Once one is gone, release full power on the other one to
buile their damage high and then throw them off the platform.

STAGE 12
Final Destination 4 minutes

VS. BOWSER
Bowser against Bowser? This battle will be a bit tough because Bowser will try to
use the same stratagies you will. Use the Koopa Claw and Bowser Bomb at the
beggining to build up the damage and use a couple of Whirling Fortress too. Then
use the Fire Breath to do about 20% more damage to him. After you have dealed
about 150% damage, lead your enemy close to the edge and use a Bowser Bomb. If you
hit, he should fly off but that probably won't be good enough. Right when he gets
back up use the Koopa Claw and then throw him again. He'll soon fall to his doom.
Well............ sorta if you have met certain expectations....................................

VS. GIGA BOWSER 4 minutes
By "sorta dead" I mean that if you are playing on Normal difficulty or higher,
didn't use a continue, and beat all of the other battles in less than 18 minutes
then you'll have to fight Giga Bowser. Picture a Giant Bowser who just grabbed a
Mushroom that makes him grow. That's Giga Bowser. Try to use the same statagies
you used on the regular Bowser. Use the Whirling Fortress attack and then Fire
Breath. It's best if you use long range attacks but Bowser doesn't really have any
so hope for an item like the ray gun or the star wand. Even the hammer won't do
that much damage to him. Use a smash attack on Giga Bowser when his back is turned
and when his back isn't facing you, try to use the roll (left or right+R) to get
on the other side of him. Do you best to avoid his attacks. Try to smash him, then
grab him and use a Reverse Throw when he is near the edge. ONLY try this when he
has about 200% damage. If you get a Poke' Ball, pray for a Bellossom because it
puts the enemy to sleep. Then you could release a huge barrage of attacks. Try to
get at least 200% damage, then just charge at him and give it your all.

Great job! You have beaten Adventure Mode! You will now get the SMASH Bowser
trophy, any trophies you got over the time of playing Adventure mode, and the Giga
Bowser trophy if you beat him.

CLASSIC MODE
Note: The characters you fight in classic will be random so this chapter might be
a bit different.

STAGES 1,4,7 AND 10
Normal Melee 5 minutes
Note: this covers 1, 4, 7 and 10 so they will be skipped in the rest of the
Classic Walkthrough

You will battle random characters in these stages. There are three different kinds
of battles. Light, Regular, and Heavy.
NOTE: Ganondof and Mr. Game and Watch do not appear
Hidden characters will appear after you have unlocked them

LIGHT WARRIORS
Pikachu
Peach
Fox
Ness
Ice Climbers
Zelda/Sheik
Jigglypuff
Falco
Pikachu
Young Link
Pichu

REGULAR WARRIORS
Dr. Mario
Mario
Link
Yoshi
Samus
Mewtwo
Roy
Marth
Luigi
Captain Falcon

HEAVY WARRIORS
Bowser
Donkey Kong

Battling light warriors
This is where the Bowser tatics come in. Go beserk on the enemy, using moves like
the Whirling Fortress, Bowser Bomb, Koopa Claw, and Blender. When your enemy has
about 75-100 damage on him/her, use a Reverse Throw to beat them.

Battling regular warriors
You have to be careful when battling these guys because they are pretty even. They
are fast and strong so you need to use moves from long distance if you must. The
Fire Breath is a great move to use to build their damage because it is long range
and so is the Koopa Claw when you are standing far away. Don't try to get close to
the enemy unless they have heavy damage on them. If you see therm doing a charge
shot, get in there and use a Reverse Throw on them before the move is totally
charged.

Battling Heavy Warriors.
When battling yourself and DK, you don't have to worry about using long range
attacks. Try to do a Whirling Fortress or a Belnder to get their damage up and
then you should use a Reverse Throw. That probably won't KO them so use a Bowser
Bomb on them. You should try to get them up to 200 damage with these moves before
you try a Reverse Throw.

STAGE 2
Team Melee 5 minutes
You will pair up with a partner and face a team of two opponents. If yuo are
playing at Normal or higher then just stay out of the fight and let your helper KO
the enemys. Run around and pick up all the items too. If you get something like a
Super Scope or Ray Gun, fire it from long range. Only step in if your partner is
doing very bad or if you see a perfect opportunity to KO your opponent.

BONUS STAGE
Break the Targets 2 minutes

See the Break the Targets chapter for information on how to do this

STAGE 5
Giant Melee 5 minutes
This time you and two helpers will battle one giant character. Again avoid the
fight and let your helpers do all the work. If you spot a Ray Gun or Super Scope,
use it. If you are on a small stage, try to get under the enemy and attack with
something like a Whirling Fortress or an Upper Scratch. When your enemy's damage
is high, throw them.

BONUS STAGE
Snag the Trophies No time limit
This stage ends when three trophies have fallen. You will start off on a swirly
hoop. That hoop is where you want the trophies to fall. When you see a trophy, use
a scratch to make it fall into the hoop. Try to capture all three. Run quickly to
get the trophies. Get behind them and use your scratch. They should fall into the
hoop.

STAGE 8 5 minutes
Multi-Man Melee
If you have read this FAQ then please tell me you remember this! C'mon! Remember
the battles with Pikachu, Kirby, and the Wireframes? This is pratcially the same!
Just use simple moves like Whirling Fortress to knock your opponents out.

BONUS STAGE
Race to the finish 52 seconds
There are 18 exits in this level and you can choose to take any of them. The
farther the exit is, the more points and coins you get. The first part of the
level is easy. Run past the obsticles and jump up the platforms in the zig-zag
tunnel. When you drop off the top off the zig-zag tunnel, keep going right and be
careful of the pit. If you fall in, you'll loose time. You'll come to a split with
three paths.

UPPER PATH
I suggest you totally ignore this path. There are spiked walls here and Bowser
won't be able to make it from platform to platform without getting hit. If you do
take it, jump with caution and use the Whirling Fortress only when you can't make
it to the next platform with a double jump.

MIDDLE PATH
I suggest you ignore this one too. It isn't as dangerous but it has a lava bottom
and if you touch it it can bounce you around for a while. You could probably make
it over each lava pit with a double jump but on the last one, jump to the floating
rock and then triple jump to saftey.

LOWER PATH
This is a good path to take. It has no obsticles at all but there is a bottomless
pit at the bottom. There are a lot of platforms too. The first part of the room is
easy but the second part will probably require triple jumps.

STAGE 11
Vs. Master Hand 4 minutes 59.99 seconds
Master Hand's health varies depending on which difficulty you are playing on. Here
is a chart:
Very Easy: 150 HP
Easy: 250 HP
Normal: 300 HP
Hard: 325 HP
Very Hard: 360 HP

Unlike other levels, you must drain Master Hand's hit points to defeat him.

Master Hand has eleven attacks:
Finger Shot: when master hand makes his hand like a gun, duck. If you do, Master
Hand will fire his bullet over you. Master Hands can fire up to three bullets so
wait a second if you think he is done before getting up.
Catch: Master Hand will try to catch you in its fist. If he does, he'll squeeze
you three times then either throw you off the platform or slam you down. When he
starts to reach for you, get out of the way!
Finger Laser:Master Hand will shoot beams at you, one from the Pinky, Ring,
Middle, and Pointer finger. Get under Master Hand's wrist and attack from there
until he is done.
Screw Drive: Master Hand will shoot fire from where his arm should be and
dissapear. Then he will come back, twirling his hand. Use a triple jump to get out
of the way and then attack.
Fist Attack: Master Hand will make a fist and slam hard on the ground. Roll out of
the way when you see him make a fist.
Slap: Master Hand will make a swing with his hand and do this three times accross
the stage. Jump behind the hand and attack
Finger Drill: this move can do a lot of damage. When master hand slams his hand
down when his fingersare together, he will spin them and then throw you off to the
side. Roll out of the way to dodge it. If you get hit, you can still escape it by
rolling.
Palm Press: Master hand will slam his palm on the ground. Roll or jump to dodge.
Once his hand is on the ground, attack.
Punch: Master Hand will sometimes try to punch you. As with the other attacks,
roll out of the way and then attack.
Finger Walk: Master hand will use his pointer and middle finger to walk and if he
hits you, he'll kick you off the platform. Jump over the attack and hit him from
behind.
Finger Poke: This attack is so easy to avoid but it can hurt if you are hit. When
Master Hand's pointer finger has a little star on the end, just move away from
Master Hand. It will poke three times, and then you can attack him.

How to beat Master Hand
When Master Hand isn't doing an attack he is stationd in one spot without moving.
For a odd reason, special attacks won't do that much damage to Master Hand.
Instead, basic scratch attacks will hurt him. Jump up and hit him with the scratch
or use you Bowser Bomb, which is the only special that does seem to work. Try to
use your Horn Charge. It is very difficult to hit Master Hand without jumping so
you need to.... well.... jump. Using this basic stratagy, you should beat him.

What the hell? A crazy clone?
If you are playing on Normal difficulty or higher and beat the first 10 stages in
under fifteen minutes without continuing, Crazy Hand will fly into the arena when
you get Master Hand's HP down to half.

Crazy Hand has all of Master Hand's attacks and also has three attacks of his own:
Spider Walk: Like the Finger Walk but he uses all of his fingers. Just jump over.
Struggle: When Crazy Hand uses his Struggle attack jump out of the way!
Bomb Drop: When Crazy Hand drops a bomb roll out the way to dodge it!

To beat Crazy Hand just use the same stratagy you used to battle Master Hand. Take
out Master Hand first because sometimes the two hands will team up. They will
begin to glow when they are about to team up. Don't try to attack them, just get
out of the way!

CONGRAGULATIONS YOU HAVE BEATEN CLASSIC!
Now you get a different Bowser trophy than the one you get in adventure mode.

Legal Info
I have decided that I don't want any other sites to contain my mFAQ other than
Game FAQs because I have to change the Legal Info (this site can be on GameFAQs,
blah blah blah). Also, it's tough to go from site to site to e-mail people with
the latest version. So please don't e-mail me asking if you want this FAQ on your
site because the answer to that question is no. I will ignore any e-mails that ask
that question. If you do take this FAQ and put it on your site even without
changing it I will track you down and I will get you. If you say it is your own
work I will really get you! If you find this FAQ on another site, please e-mail me
with the site name and I will thank you a thousand times and also get my FAQ off
the other sites.
