                         Suggested Description

Chess Captor brings the convenience of Windows to the creating of chess
diagrams. Chess Captor features include:

Windows support: Chess Captor includes long filename support and tight
integration with the Windows 95 shell. Open PGN and EPD files without
leaving the Explorer.

Fully configurable chess board: Determine how you want the chess board
to look: gridlines, borders, squares, colors, coordenates, orientation,
backgrounds etc.

Support for headers and footers in chess diagrams: include catching
header and footers in your diagrams.

Easy to use drag and drop chess interface: set up chess positions in no
time, move pieces smoothly over the board with your mouse.

Supports multiple chess piece styles: Chess Captor allows you to create
chess diagrams choosing from three popular piece styles.

Improved print engine: scale your diagrams when printing. Printing of
multiple diagrams per page supported

Automatic Diagram generation: generate hundreds of chess diagrams from
PGN and EPD files. A great time saver. Also ideal for helping you make
animated gifs of chess games.

JPEG image file support: saving your diagrams as JPG image files is now
also supported. Very useful for saving diagrams that use custom images
as square background.

                              Requirements

Chess Captor is 32-bit software. This means that it will only run on
Windows 95, NT 4.0 or newer versions. Chess Captor does not require any
other programs or dlls than those that come with the installation.

Both Windows and Chess Captor require a video card and monitor capable
of rendering 256 colors. Using Chess Captor on a system without a mouse
will not let you use all of Chess Captor's features. Although not
required; Chess Captor works best on a computer with a soundcard and
speakers.

                           Registration

US$15 (other currencies also possible), an additional US$5 to receive
an installation disk with the latest version for Windows 95 and NT 4.0
or newer. See file CAPTOR.HLP for ordering details.
