FS2002 78FS 20FW USAF F21A Tornado textures.es. Obviously this is a fictictious repaint but the story behind it is based on fact. Back in the 1980s the Tornado was in the running for the USAFs follow on Wild Weasel platform to replace the F4G Phantom. In the end the USAF modified a number of F16C/D Vipers to do the job but as it happens the Air Force was indeed interested in the programme unfortunately the politicians were not. This repaint is based on the German modification known ase the ECR Electronic Combat Recce and is armed with HARM missiles. Unfortunately you will have to use the drogue receptacle for air to air refueling as the probe receptacle on the spine of this jet is purely for show. Back in the 1980s the Tornado was in the running for the USAFs follow on Wild Weasel platform to replace the F4G Phantom. In the end the USAF modified a number of F16C/D Vipers to do the job but as it happens the Air Force was indeed interested in the programme unfortunately the politicians were not. This repaint is based on the German modification known ase the ECR Electronic Combat Recce and is armed with HARM missiles. Unfortunately you will have to use the drogue receptacle for air to air refueling as the probe receptacle on the spine of this jet is purely for show.
