FS2000 - Cessna 300-Series Transponder (factory black option) version 2

v2. Darkened down to match the other 300 series black radios

This transponder was very commonly found in the Cessna 150/152 but most have now been
replaced by more modern Bendix-King avionics. This gauge reacts to the default avionics
bus. The avionics bus must be switched on before the transponder will work.

On initialisation the gauge displays the last frequency set by a transponder in FS. If FS
is just starting up this will always be 1200 (the default transponder code). To change
the squawk code use the + and - cursors below the rotary switches. Ensure the radio
itself is turned on before clicking on the ID symbol to change the transponder frequency.
A successful squawk will be shown by the REPLY lamp lighting up for five seconds. If the
lamp does not light then check the on/off switch!

To use the gauge with sound you must put fssound.dll into your \fs2k\modules folder and
300_switch.wav into your \fs2k\sound folder. If you already have both of these then ignore
the instruction. If you do not like the sound supplied then you may substitute one of your own
but it must have the name "300_switch.wav" to be recognised by the gauge. Be aware though that
this change will affect all of the 300 Series radios as they all use the same switch sound.

If you are sure you have done all of the above and the sound fails to work then check your
soundcard specifications. If the soundchip is made by Aureal (Aureal-3D) then it will not work
because the Aureal chipset is not Soundblaster compatible.
