Some help in setting up a new aircraft with one of my panels. (if your having trouble).

SETUP
Things to download -A new aircraft model of your choice (FS2000 Aircraft)
                   -The panel archive (FS2000 Panels)
                   -New sound files ([optional]FS2000 Sounds)
-The FSUIPC program (FS98 utilities and miscellaneous)

FSUIPC
There are two reasons why the FSUIPC program is important for some panels. Some engine
gauges wont work without it and the avionics will not fail when the engines are off. After
installing it to the modules folder of FS2000 and running it for the first time make this
change to the default settings, switch ON the option that reads: 'PROVIDE POWER WITH FLAT-
BATTERY'. With this option active the FS98 style gauges will not permanently disappear if
you like to sit for a while setting up with the engines shut-down at the gate. Im very
pleased about this option.

USAGE
It is a good idea to setup your flight-plan and weather settings BEFORE loading one of
my panels, do it when the default aircraft is loaded then when everything is ready for
the journey load the new aircraft and panel. The reason for this is the very long time
it usually takes with these panels to access the menu bar, with the default aircraft
loaded the menu bar is accessed very quickly. My panels take a long time in accessing
external functions because of two reasons: - The first is the gauge setup, most of my
panels have about 100 gauges, the default panels have had there gauges arranged into one
file improving access speed, the second and most degrading factor is the complex shape
of the 3d window 'cut-outs', the more the window differs from a rectangle, the longer it
takes for the CPU to determine which pixels have to show the 3d environment. The default
panels are basically rectangular in shape and dont use any illusion-type methods in there
design such as overlaying one bitmap on top of another and putting holes in the top one so
as to see the gauges from the bottom one, these types of methods all add-up to alot of
processing when accessing the menu bar or exiting full screen mode.

BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DISK ACCESS SPEED AND FRAME RATES.
Once the panel has loaded completely it will not effect frame rates any more than the
default panels. Only the menu bar access will be slower.

Anyway, please send e-mail to me if the panel isnt working properly or doesnt quite look
right because I dont like to think there being discarded over a minor issue.
